Dinner party last Friday. US immigration came up. I gave some examples of what's being done. People obviously angry at the lack of basic humanity. Said that most people on a forum I post on support everything that ICE does. And much the same people also support the dismantling of USAid. And support what Israel is doing. And some make excuses for what white nationalists say and do. I gave a few examples. It's not like there's not many to choose from.

The consensus was that if I go poking around in the dark recesses of the interweb then you're bound to find examples of this type of thinking. Then I gave them the name of the forum.

NOTE: I did see the images from various protests around that time, but failed to see any mention of a stolen election being the reason for the violence that ensued. Maybe you could provide that, if possible?

This is standard cherry-picking. Just rinse and repeat those adjectives one wants to highlight - without actually referring to what those adjectives described. Footage of Fox News reporters at a Trump rally without context. Failing to mention Social Media.

Dude - Sky News IS Australia's version of Fox. If they had more serious objections to extract from the 60 page PDF from ACMA - don't you think they would have shared it?

If I'm being honest (and I try to be as truthful with myself as I can when I'm doing theology), I still find that, according to the Bible's report, God commanded some actions at some times that were in conflict with God's commands at other times. That's not an easy thing to resolve. Christian theology teaches that God embodies perfect goodness, so we can't just resolve the question by saying that God is whimsical, like Zeus or Poseidon. The idea of progressive revelation gives one possible approach, but I'm not sure it resolves all the difficulties. The problem is something I still wrestle with.

I think AI can be used as a tool but I look upon it as an advanced concordance....with heightened abilities then just that. It brings together words in a very unique way never thought of. Not that titles of sermons are so very important but I sometimes give it the text of my sermon and ask it to give me 100 possible titles for it using only 6 words. 90 of them may miss the mark completely but 10 are very good and reflect perfectly what I said in the text. For example on my youtube channel I have sermons....one is about MAN landing on the Moon with Apollo 11 but I take the Sea of Tranquility (on the Moon) as a metaphor that we want to land our lives in Jesus Christ.....He is our Prince of Peace, thus that's what Tranquility means. AI came up with the title, "Jesus Christ : Our True Tranquility Base!" I thought that was good.

I'm not sure what to watch anymore since i've become drug free. I've honestly just been watching anything that comes onto facebook and adult swim. I know i shouldnt be watching this, but nothings good has come up for me to watch. I was watching Jesus freaks on youtube but i finished it in the matter of 2 days and been wanting something like it. Interestingly, engineers have found that they can solve previously unsolvable problems by copying evolutionary processes. Genetic algorithms have been very effective in doing so. God knew best, after all.

I don’t believe the organization as a whole was biased, but the ones at the top calling the orders were. And unfortunately, when that happens, that leaves room to doubt the veracity of the whole organization.

Texts to your girlfriend plotting to overthrow the “peaceful transfer of power”, especially when those orders come from the very top layers of government, very much do amount to an insurrection.

So are you saying that when my husband and I plot to do something illegal and the cops take my phone and read my texts I can sue them for breach of privacy and get $2M ? I’m sure there are a lot of criminals who were put away for that very reason who will be interested to know they have been wrongfully imprisoned.
