ARE ALL THE 10 COMMANDMENTS IN THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT?

I agree. Also made with the house of Judah. Jeremiah 31:31

Gentiles included:

Galatians 3:8
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you shall all the nations be blessed.”

Galatians 3:14 that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

It is through Abraham, who was never an Israelite or Jew, that we Gentiles are eligible to partake of the New Covenant.

Jesus saves all who believe in/obey him. Luke 2:29-33, Acts 10:35
Nice post.
Here is a loaded question. Blessed is a present tense verb, an action not a noun, a state of being in the following verse. Is there a difference between being blessed and are blessed?

(ABP) Gal 3:9 So then the [ones] of faith are being blessed together-with Abraham, the [man-of]-faith.

(KJV) Gal 3:9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

Energy chief suggests Trump administration is altering previously published climate reports; staff for next iteration all fired already

Even if true, this is different from changing published reports.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics updates its numbers, but the original estimates are still available.

Changing the previous published reports is indeed Orwellian.
Per your link they're dropping the previous assessments and publishing new ones. They're not leaving the old ones up and editing them, or altering documents in the archives.

The Harm Caused by Excessive Criticism of the Roman Catholic Church and Other Denominations

I agree and this example of the road to Emaus is how the communion in Christ of breaking the bread takes us into the heart of the most central and powerful aspect of being one with Christ.

It makes sense that in having such a communion with Christ that we become closer to God and I think makes us more Christlike.

Because in having that communion just as Christ gave His life we are also coming to God in sacrificing ourselves, our sin, our desires, the flesh, all laid at the alter to be in communion with Christ. Almost like its a price we are willing to pay just as Christ was willing to pay in obedience to His Father.

Just as Paul said we become partakers in Christs death and resurection and breaking the bread and the partaking of the wine in Christ is an outward act of commitment to that end.
In saying that it is "an outward act", you are presuming that it is something that we do; it is not about us at all. The Sacraments, not just the Lord's Supper are what God has done, and continues to do for His Church. We can only receive what we are given. Even without faith, we receive His body and blood, but in an unworthy manner. Those who do, eat and drink judgement upon themselves. Scripture warns that in doing so there can be not only spiritual harm, but physical harm as well.

That article doesn't say what you think it says. The cases it's discussing are where made-up news aggregator sites are using AI to scrape articles from legitimate news sites, then making modifications to them and republishing them, whether in an attempt to avoid copyright claims or to generate "new" content. It's the modern iteration of "fake news;" now done by AI rather than underpaid writers in Romania.

What do you know: It said what I thought it said. I posted that as a heads up when looking for articles.

A Lesson From the Early Church

Even though the church in Jerusalem as only Jewish believers waiting for the promised earthly kingdom, they had an enviable devotion. While believers today in the gospel of grace await the return of Christ in the rapture, we can benefit from considering their devotion. Here is an interesting blog post from christianpioneer.com that touches on this.

All In

Poker players can reach a point where they commit all of the cash they have to bet on one hand. They push their chips to the center of the table and declare “all in”. If they loose, they loose all they have. In previous generations phrases like “betting the farm” or “do or die” have also been used to convey a total commitment. This concept would be the opposite of “hedging your bets”.

Marriage used to be seen as something that was undertaken with a view towards permanence. Many people today enter into marriage thinking that if things don’t “work out”, they can pursue other options, not fully understanding the price one pays in going through a divorce.

Many of those today who call themselves Christian also often have only a partial investment in their faith. They may view their church membership as a sort of fire insurance to avoid some vague prospect of afterlife penalty. James warns those administering the church who seem to have no observable influence of Christ in their lives by asking if such a “faith” can save them. He further declares that “belief” is an insufficient substitute for faith (James 2:19).

This can be an alarming revelation for the Christian who was under the impression that an acknowledgment of the historical existence of Jesus constituted salvation. Christians who rest in the assurance that their faith has been confirmed by some act or meeting some criteria may consider the admonition Paul gave the Corinthians to examine themselves to see if they were in the faith.

Many Christians that do not have actual faith go “all in” for church activity and busyness. These are those who will be mystified to stand in front of Christ being judged for their works (1 Cor 3:13). Even some who go “all in” for seminary and become well versed in theology miss the mark. This type of “commitment” (without faith) is works oriented and tends to build up pride often leading to contempt for others (Luke 18:9).

In Hebrews we learn that without faith it is impossible to please God. Therefore establishing this foundation first is critical to living a life “all in” for God. This trust in and reliance upon God is manifest in humility and love. Without this faith, going “all in” often results in an embarrassing level of self-aggrandizement (Matt 6:2).

The Christian walk is supposed to be one of growth and maturation (Eph 4:15). However, Christians can get stuck and fail to grow (1 Cor 3:1). There comes a point where a Christian has to decide if he wants to live for Christ. This is sometimes called discipleship. It is described as a singular point of action by the aorist verb tense (Ro 12:1). Those who are Christian but neglect him in this life will be shamed in the next (1 Cor 3:15).

Going “all in” for Christ is a call to discipleship. Not activity, accomplishment, study, or mastery, it is a decision to relinquish control of one’s life and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us towards greater Christ-likeness. Some can be driven to this point by crisis such as in a hospital or jail. However, those who know Christ and thirst for truth, wisdom, love, and righteousness can also be drawn to follow him in discipleship.

Shall we continue with the sinful nature till the body is changed?

Walter Vieth is not teaching we should sin and does teach we need to be perfect but can only do that through Christ. His point was we will have a sinful nature until the close of probation. Do you have anything that shows we can't sin before the close of probation?
The thing is, Walter is saying we will continue having a 'sinful nature' till our bodies are changed at the second coming from corruptible (or sinful nature) to incorruptible (or perfect bodies like Adam), and he doesnt clarify what he means by that or go further into the text it refers to. Now the problem is that if our minds are corrupted and full of sin and iniquity, the Christ will turn us aside at the Second Coming and say 'I do not know you'.

Matthew 7:23
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Luke 13:27
But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

Our minds must be transformed and sanctified before, at the close of probation and sealed so that iniquity doesnt work in our minds from temptation of Satan and evil thoughts can no longer come upon us. Our bodies are what will have the corruptible sinful nature till the end, our minds must be changed before Christ comes.

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

And it is by faith through Christ.

Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

And we see that we are sealed unto everlasting life thought this change, so its not the change or transformation of the body.

John 6:27
Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

2 Corinthians 1:22
Who hath also sealed us,
and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Ephesians 1:13
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

And it happens before the Second Coming..

Ephesians 4:30
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Revelation 7:3

Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

We are sealed and prepared to face Christ at His coming and then our bodies are transformed as "we shall all be changed", the resurrected dead as well as those alive on earth, back to what they were in the Garden of Eden before sin so death can be overcome.

1 Corinthians 15:51-54
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

No person can come to Christ by their own freewill !

Thank you for explaining! Btw, in Adam Clark's commentary it's also understood as the Mosaic Law. I don't know how far we get from comparing commentaries. "Works of the Law" is in my estimation a reasonable translation. Why? Paul might be speaking to Gentiles, but he is speaking about Jews.
If Paul was speaking to me about the law, I would totally ignore him since I am not a Jew, and the law is for the Jews.

If Paul is speaking to me about salvation being a free gift, meaning I had to do nothing to receive it, then the law is not important to the discussion.

How do you think AI has effected Christianity and the gospel?

How do you think AI has effected Christianity and the gospel, both positive and negative? Express your thoughts on it and its use in both casual use and in evangelism.

It used to be you could evaluate who you asked about Christianity to determine if they knew what they were talking about. Today people are supposed to take as true whatever comes out of a box. Satan gas worked for centuries to have first an alternative "truth" to offer. Now he is in a position to have the only "truth". There has never been a more important time to be a Berean.

3 killed by strike at Gaza's only Catholic church; Israel launches probe, expresses 'deep sorrow'

Hmm not Reuters, the Guardian, MSN or the BBC - they're all controlled by Hamas? You can't be more ridiculous can you! And not even the Israeli government website! Do you still hold that only civilians were killed by Hamas on October 7? You dodged that question. Of course if Israel allowed foreign journalists into Gaza ... But they don't because they want to hide the truth of their war crimes - but eventually the truth will come out.
If a news station or other press outlets are relying on the AP, which many do, they can’t be trusted regarding the events in Gaza.

And I never said that only civilians were killed on October 7, I said they were targeted. Are you suggesting that they weren’t? Did Hamas think the music concert that they attacked was a military installation? Did they think that the women they raped and the babies they burned were soldiers in disguise? You are being disingenuous at best.

I could use prayer for my salvation.

Hi all ... I will make long story even longer in this post. I could use prayer for my salvation , cause I'm tired of this planet and I would like to leave this planet in Rapture. I this post I will describe my life in short sentences that you get some facts about me.

- So , my parents were never around .... Both of them. Not around to that point that I needed to raise myself by myself. Me being my own parent.
- They gave me F.A.P. - Familial adenomatous polyposis - disease , which is colon gene mutation which triggers colon cancer usually in the age of 35 in most cases. Most people die before 45th birthday ... Fun fact - I won't make it to 40 anyway so I am leaving this planet either way . I just don't have the will to go thru 5 years of battling the cancer ... I already decided to decline CEMO in case when my cancer will be diagnosed .... I expect that to be very soon.
- The F.A.P. disease wasn't enough - someone decided go give me Autism also ,.... I guess someone is bored in life, so made me as an social experiment. XD
- That all wasn't enough, so someone decided to take away from me few family members cause of case of that F.A.P. disease.
- That wasn't enough. So someone has decided that I should be born in the most dum8est century, the most dum8est timeline in the history of mankind, in the most dum8est social system, in the most dum8est planet in the galaxy , in the most dum8est country on the planet, in the most dum8est village on the planet , in the 5h1thole and rob me of my future.
- That wasn't enough - someone decided to make my life living hell by taking away everything from me .....

Okey , you get the point.

In case you don't - I was robbed of my life before it has even started. I was robbed of every nice experience I expected to happen in my life. Cause someone is bored. I'm not saying who that one is.

BUT ..... I am willing to let this one go if I will be Raptured. ^^ That would make my relationship with God on neutral state. And after that we can talk about else.

Hot potato is in God's hands.

But yeah, I'm willing to let this go if I get Raptured , and I could use your help in terms of that. Thanks. <3

Jesus reaffirms predestination

How could they believe before God acted on their dead hearts?

Joh 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

Through the Heavens, Open Report to the Throne

My my, 'Pastor Waris', if this was your hand who penned the above and not the assistance of A.I., you are to be commended for expounding on my and other points to consider. I would like to understand if you hold to the same obedient ''order'' in Church protocols as I when you said,

Dear Brother in Christ,
Thank you for your kind words. They truly mean a lot to me. Whether written by my own hand or aided by tools, I always seek to ensure that every word I share is prayerfully considered, rooted in Scripture, and intended to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ.

As for your question about the “obedient order” in church protocols yes, I deeply value the biblical order God has set for His Church. Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 14:40:
“Let all things be done decently and in order.”

To me, that means our worship, teaching, and fellowship should be led by the Spirit, guided by the Word, and marked by humility and reverence. I also believe true order in the Church flows not from rigid control but from a shared obedience to Christ as the Head of the body (Colossians 1:18).

I would love to hear more about the order and protocols you hold to, so we can rejoice together in the unity of the Spirit while learning from one another.

Blessings and peace to you,
Pastor Waris

No person can come to Christ by their own freewill !

I already explained why I posted the commentaries, in response to you saying ‘works’ in that verse (Romans 11:6) specifically means “works of the law”. That was YOUR statement from post # . The commentaries speak nothing of the law when commenting about that verse. Paul says nothing about the law in that passage. He is speaking to gentiles, not Jews.

Another look at the moon landing.

It means, on the need to know basis about Apollo 11 missions, when with their missions were faked.

You ask, ' How can so many people be lying ? Well what I'm saying it was all done on a need to know basis ....... The left hand doesn't know what the right is doing.
But you are just making statements with absolutely nothing in the way of evidence. It's like me saying, "My granddad was the King's right-hand man," and expecting you to believe it. I would need to provide some evidence, such as, "I have in my possession his letter of appointment, on Buckingham Palace headed note paper, and a photo showing him with the royal family at Sandringham." Needless to say, my grandfather was not the king's right-hand man; he worked in a shoe shop!
