  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Not Woke! Awakened! A Welcome Event

Whoa, let's back the truck up a little here.

'The (Pentagon) journalists who turned in their press credentials earlier this month did so after the US defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, introduced a policy that required that they agree not to obtain unauthorized material...'

Trump has said that they couldn't print anything unless it was authorised. And this doesn't mean classified information. They were told that they could only report what the Pentagon wanted them to report. That is in direct contradiction to the First amendment. It's a restriction on the freedom of the press.
Ok. Not entirely respectful. I will give you credit for that. He let No King’s Day happen despite acting in an incredibly childish manner.

So.....did your insurance premium go up?

Know someone, an American retiree, who had a leg wound that quickly went bad. After a nurse happened to see it, he was in a specialist's office the next day, and surgery the next or the day after.

Three times my father, a farmer and blue-collar worker, was found with a life-threatening condition, and each time he had specialist help right then or the day after.

My serious question for those who are on health care in other countries: How long would the retiree I know and my father would have had to wait to see a specialist?
I have never heard of a case in Canada or the UK or anywhere else in Europe that people had immediately life-threatening conditions that were not seen to immediately.

But I've heard of many cases where a citizen of those nations would have received care in a few weeks or even months for which many Americans would not receive care at all because they had no way to afford it.

Christ the King: Why He Must Rule Our Hearts and the World

In this traditional Catholic presentation, we explore the true Kingship of Jesus Christ — King by right of birth and by right of conquest. Drawing from Quas Primas (Pope Pius XI, 1925), this video reveals why the Feast of Christ the King was established: to restore all things in Christ and to proclaim His authority over individuals, families, and nations. Through Scripture, the Roman Catechism, and the timeless teachings of the Church, you’ll see how Our Lord reigns from the manger to the Cross, from the Eucharist to eternity. Learn why peace is impossible where Christ is not acknowledged as King — and how His Sacred Heart must rule first within our souls, and then over the world.

Hell doesn't exist and there is no eternal suffering, instead bad peolle just cease to exist

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I’m on the fence in relation to this subject. Therefore, I have found it interesting. So I asked AI about when the discussion about the immortal soul began, and the answer in part is as follows:

“Talmud (circa 200-500 CE): The Talmud contains extensive discussions by various rabbis about the afterlife and judgment, including explicit mentions of who is excluded from Olam Ha-Ba:
Rabbi Akiva: Known for his teachings about merit and punishment, he argued that certain sinners would not receive a share in the World to Come.
Rabbi Eliezer: He stated that those who committed specific transgressions, such as idol worship or slander, would not be part of Olam Ha-Ba.”
The discussion includes questions about how long the unrighteous stay in Gehenna, which ranges from 12 months to eternity.

Among Christians, the discussion seems to be rooted in Roman and Orthodox theology, which was adopted by many Protestants. Some say it started with St. Augustine. These groups designated the mortal human soul as heresy. Anyhow, the discussion is based in doctrinal writings; all of them using the scriptures that have been repeated by both sides in this thread. I’ve been considered a heretic by many Christians and Jews, and it doesn’t have much influence on the validity of the discussion. The question I’ve been waiting to see answered is the effect on evangelism and whether fear of eternal hell is a justified tool.

Meth addicted husband

Well it seems there was some deception there which in my Church is basis for an annulment. Anyway, meth does not have a high rate of recovery and you’ll have to consider that. Also, any rehab facility will tell you that you have to draw a line and quit enabling him. No help, no money, no living with you in the home. You need to give him an ultimatum and stick to it. If you decide to do so, you will most likely need to get a restraining order. You’ll have some thinking to do. The ball is really in your court at this point. Prayers for you as you discern.
Thank you! I don't have the annulment option so I'm filing for a divorce. Yes I do feel I have enabled him to this point. I appreciate your prayers.

Love codified in the Ten Commandments

There are three sets of laws.
1) The 10 commandments, Gods moral laws
2) Ceremonial Law that deals with attonement for breaking the moral laws which was symbolically pointing to Christ and what Jesus fulfilled as he atoned for our sins.
3) Civic law that pertained to how the country of Israel was going to run since at that time it was a theocracy and God was the ruler.

The ONLY laws that still pertain to us apart from 2 new commandments Jesus instituted (communion and baptism) is the 10 commandments. This is a theological study which incorporates understanding how the laws are divided up in the old testament, and how they are referred to in the new testament, and why Jesus still calls us to repentance that is still all throughout the book of Revelation.

From this, you can argue or debate, but your arguement is with God. You dont want to be even open to the idea and just want to argue your stance, then I have no more to say. If you're honest and are interested, then I'll take the time to point you in the right direction. But I'm not going to argue for the sake of arguing. It's a waste of my time.

The Reality of Free Will

wil·ful·ly
[ˈwɪlfʊli, ˈwɪlfəli]
adverb

  1. with the intention of causing harm; deliberately:
"she denies four charges of wilfully neglecting a patient"
    "he admitted wilfully ill-treating animals"
  2. with a stubborn and determined intention to do as one wants, regardless of the consequences:
"he had wilfully ignored the evidence"
"the business seems willfully headed toward extinction"
Deliberate :

adjective

  1. Done with or marked by full consciousness of the nature and effects; intentional.
mistook the oversight for a deliberate insult.
  2. Arising from or marked by careful consideration: synonym: voluntary.
    a deliberate decision.
  3. Unhurried and careful.
    moved at a deliberate pace.

1 Timothy 2:14

Adam was not deceived, but the woman, having been deceived, has come into transgression.

Deceive :

to persuade someone that something false is the truth, or to keep the truth hidden from someone for your own advantage

Please, in a clear and coherent way, explain which of the following is not true, and why. Thank you.
  • Adam was not deceived into taking the fruit from his wife Eve, and eating it.
  • Adam deliberately took the fruit from Eve and ate it, doing so with the knowledge that to do so he would be disobedient to God.
  • Adam deliberately - that is, without being fooled, or persuaded into believing something false to be true, acting in accord with his own will, and disobeyed God.

You misinterpret scripture, by saying Adam was not deceived = Adam sinned willfully
1 Timothy 2:14 Adam was not deceived.
Therefore, the man's disobedience was willful. Adam sinned willfully.

Incorrect interpretation. This above is projection. WE need to NOT project our wickedness onto others --> Titus 1:15
Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

We're going in circles. As a matter of pragmatics every desire to disobey God must be based on a lie because God is The Spirit of Truth. Why won't you accept my exhortation that the only true free will is one free from sin? The Holy Spirit of Truth is who sets us free.
When I say a will set free from sin, I'm talking about a will free from a sickness/corruption, a will free from the desire to sin. A will free from the lies that evil desires arise out of. I'm talking about a Truth that Jesus alludes to when he says, "The Truth will set you free" and I'm talking about what Paul says:
A "will free from the desire to sin. A will free from the lies that evil desires arise out of" is certainly something we would welcome.
In fact, that is what God wants for us, and it will eventually be accomplished.

What you are describing though, is not free will.
You are describing having a nature that is free from corruption.
In other words, you are describing a person's character... which is what God's people are aiming for, and what God is aiming them to - perfection, or a perfect state, such as at a level Adam and Eve could have had, if they had been like the son God speaks so well of.

Jesus state of perfection is one where he has no desire at all, to disobey the father... that is, sin.
The faithful angel as well,,, They are loyal to God, and will remain loyal, because they too, have no desire at all to be disobedient to God,
That is unlike the angel that became Satan the Devil, as well as the angels that "did not keep their own domain but abandoned their proper dwelling place". These had a desire to disobey God, and acted on their desire. They rebelled (rebellious sons they are).
They thus are judged.

The difference here, is between free will and perfection.
Humans will reach that level of perfection, and will continue to have free will, like the angels, and Jesus, who said "My meat/food is to do the will of him that sent me." John4:34

Note the contrast...
  • Jesus wanted to do, only what God wants him to do.
  • Faithful angels too... they desire to do the will of God. Isaiah 6:8
  • Humans who are in the new world that Jesus' 1'000 year rule will complete... they will desire to do only what God wants, and therefore, there will be "no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away." Revelation 21:4

  • The angels that sinned, as well as Adam and Eve did not want to do the will of God.
  • All mankind today whom God judges as wicked, do not want to do the will of God.

Both these contrasts have free will.
However, in the case of the former they are at the level of perfection God wants for all.
While in the case of the latter, the first, were at a level of perfection, but not where God wanted them to reach. The last has not reached perfection at all. They are fallen mankind. fallen from the level of perfection of Adam.
Hence sickness, suffering and death, plague them.

So, while perfection and free will can both exist together, they are not the same thing.
The angels have free will and perfection, yet they sin... that is, acted on desires opposed to God. Genesis 6:1
The mark of perfection God sets the target at, may be reached by operation/help of God's holy spirit, but the freedom of choice, or free will, is what allows one to attain that, since it requires first, choosing to submit to God. Psalm 73:28
James 4:8-10
8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Clean your hands, sinners, and purify your hearts, men of two minds; 9 be miserable, and mourn, and weep; let your laughter be turned to mourning and your gladness to abasement. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will uplift you.

One has to choose to be humble, and draw near to God, in order for God to respond, and help that one.
Free will allows one to choose to go against sinful desires, or to choose one course or the other... whether sinful - that is, prone to sin, or not.
The Bible does not say sickness, or weakness killed off free will, from the make up of the perfect man Adam, and his offspring.

Does being free from slavery to sin (Romans 6:6, 16, 17, 20, 22), prevent one from having the freedom to choose to become a slave to sin? No.
Hebrews 2:1; Hebrews 3:12; 2 Hebrews 12:25; Peter 2:20, 21

Trump knocking down historic East Wing to build Ballroom - is this LEGAL?

Raises eyebrows again. Unpopular? Maybe in the circles you travel in, but it's hardly universal. It would be like someone complaining about Obama's basketball court and calling him "unpopular" because all his or hers friends dislike him. And I don't recall a press conference when Nixon closed FDR's pool or when Ford built a new one. Any outrage I might have felt over presidential changes to the White House ended after Nixon did away with the swimming pool, and with that it was because just because he didn't use it didn't mean another president wouldn't.

The one thing I'm 99.99% sure of is that other presidents will use that ballroom. Maybe some of them are critics of the project. Just like Carter was critical of Camp David until he started using it. Such is the way of things. I'm also 99.99% sure that Americans a generation from now will look at that ballroom as though it's always been there. That's the way of things, too.

I wonder if Nixon's bowling alley is still there. If it's not, are we obliged to complain?
Raises eyebrows further, blows nose, eats a pancake. Yes, he is objectively unpopular. Even websites and pollsters friendly to him and prone to exaggeration in his favor put his approval in the low 40s and his disapproval in the low 50s. On the world stage, 34% of those polled say they have a lot or some confidence in him, while 62% have little-to-no confidence. In that first statistic, if you remove "some confidence" as the poll option, only 7% say they have a lot of confidence in him. If you're looking for everybody on the planet to hate him so you can say "well you're right, he's universally unpopular," of course that will never happen. Given it's apparently not even universal thought that Hitler was a bad person anymore, it seems unlikely a universal hate for somebody who's not as egregious as Hitler will ever be forthcoming.

Obama has never been as disliked as Trump is during his presidency. At a few points, Obama's disapproval rating was 12%, whereas the lowest Trump has ever gotten is 45%. Obama peaked at a 69% approval rating. Trump has never gotten higher than 49%. Donald Trump has the lowest peak approval rating (by a significant margin) across all presidents since Truman (which is when they started tracking approval ratings).

As for the basketball court, Obama didn't unilaterally build one. He converted a space that was only tennis courts to a space that was mixed use, including basketball courts. He did so with his own money, through proper channels and oversight, and it cost $100,000 of his own money. In fact, money was offered to him by the government to do it, and he declined. Nothing was demolished to make it.

When Nixon closed the pool (the press conference where it was announced he would was done by staffers in October 1969), he did so in order to invite more media to the White House. He felt given the instability of the nation and lack of faith people had in government, inviting more press, more people, and allowing more face-time with leaders on a day-to-day basis would help restore stability and confidence. Also, he didn't destroy the pool; he covered it over specifically so if they wanted to use it again, they could. It's still there, maintained and preserved, accessed regularly because that's where storage for computer equipment is. Nothing was demolished to make it.

Ford built a pool, but its construction with being built to preserve the integrity of the White House and grounds was overseen by bipartisan government and civilian groups, cost $67,000, and was funded by private donations. Ford was so committed to integrity and transparency, the list of people who donated is still available, no one person or organization was allowed to donate more than $1,000 so as to ensure fairness, equity, and prevent the president from being beholden to any one group, and every, single dime was accounted for during the building process. The accounting of the project is actually studied by economists because of how exact it was. Nothing was demolished to make it.

The ball room is not yet fully funded, all the people who are funding it are not being disclosed, it's cost was initially $100,000,000 then it was $200,000,000 now it's being said it's $300,000,000, it is being done without transparency or oversight, resulted in the destruction of an entire wing of the White House (a segment Obama said in his book he was particularly fond of which I'm sure in no way influenced Trump at all) and it's not being used to increase media access or give the people more access to the government and representatives, nor is it being built for daily, frequent use. It's being used for parties, specifically, state dinners and dining events. Obama and Bush Jr. had 13 with no problems. Despite COVID, Biden had 6, and he had them at a pace closer together than any president since Reagan. Clinton had 29. You know how many Trump had? Two. Just two. That's it. And the two he had, he did under duress and protest. So even Trump himself only had need of this room twice in four years.

The president is a tenant at the White House. We are the landlords. Levelling an entire wing of a building you don't own in order to build a vanity project of limited use would make you a bad renter. Trump is a bad renter and this whole thing is just a reminder of how little he cares about anybody but himself.

November 4th, more than half of the country will lose funding to food, but an unpopular president will leverage the White House to private donors in order to get his opulent ballroom where he can host both of his state dinners.

But by all means, if you want to be mad about Nixon converting an unused part of the basement for $16k more than 50 years ago, go for it. Seems a bit odd to be mad about that when you have a Caesars Palace banquet hall that costs 18,750 times more than that being built today, but whatever.

Personally, I think this is just a testament to how bad a real estate mogul he really is. It was $100,000,000 which is already expensive, but to find out that it's 3x more than that as a surprise? Either he's awful at picking contractors, bad at estimating cost, bad at sticking to a budget, or surrounded by deeply ineffective people... None of which happens to people who are masters of their industry. Having done house repairs before, you find out about maybe an extra thousand here, an extra couple thousand there, uncover problems that need more work than you guessed... But 3x the original cost? That kind of stuff happens to people like me, who has no relationship with builders, no building experience, is working solo, isn't contracting with the best people available, has no means to leverage or negotiate prices, and lives in a house older than the White House. It doesn't happen to adept, networked, influential tycoons who use the best of the best in the industry, (in theory) pay all their bills and have major influence in the sphere in which they operate.

Like, he can't look at a blueprint and say "geez, this looks like it has really significantly been low-balled?" Me, a 44-year-old ametur carpenter who has no experience reading building blueprints or building or renovating homes can look at a submitted plan by my contractor and say "I'm sorry, I don't think buying all appliances, replacing the counters, cabinets, fixtures, and surface remodelling/painting in my kitchen will realistically only cost $5k... Are you sure that's right? What's the line-by-line and overage potential?" but Trump can't look at plans for a ballroom and know it's under-budgeted by more than double? Is this a "It's one banana, Micheal, what could it cost? $10?" scenario where he just has zero concept of real life?

Chicago principal claims teacher who made sick Charlie Kirk gesture is the victim

Believe what you wish! He will be a disaster for NY if elected.
I believe we’ll have to wait and see. What makes you think Cuomo would be so much better?

Do you live in New York?
Sometimes , but in this case my opinion is factually correct.
You’ve presented no facts, just your own unevidenced belief that everyone taking part in a protest you don’t like must hate America. There’s no facts there, just your own prejudiced belief. You’re welcome to your opinions but they aren’t facts.

A Christian response to "No Kings."

The Supreme Court of the US ruled in favor of Trump when judges tried to rule against the executive branch, so
the article you posted is an opinion piece that failed.

Trump hasn't violated the constitution but upheld it completely.

Many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of....

MANY will follow after the pernicious ways of their Diotrephes-like leaders who love to be first among their congregations.

3Jn 1:9-12 KJV

(9) I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.

They will prate with malicious words any of the brothers who will preach the Word of Truth to them. They will not receive them and will forbid any among their congregations to do so….and will cast any who do out of their church.

(10) Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.
(11) Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

(12) Demetrius hath good report of all men, and of the truth itself: yea, and we also bear record; and ye know that our record is true.

The unbelievers among them will continue to listen to their false prophets who are already there in their gatherings. The false prophet’s presence there is in accordance to the working of Satan.

2Th 2:8-12 KJV
(8) And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

(9) Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

The false teachers will deceive those who will not receive the love of the Truth when they will hear it so that they might be saved…to be delivered from them. Instead, they will take pleasure in their unrighteousness that they will do towards any who will preach the Word of Truth and any who will hear the Truth and believe it.

(10) And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
(11) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

(12) That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

They will judge us as “evildoers” for leaving them. They will even put us out of their “synagogues”…their gatherings…for believing the Truth. Remember how they treated Lot when he “lingered” around in Sodom too long.

They will think that they are doing God “service” for all of their unrighteous words and deeds towards those who will receive the Word of Truth in belief.

Joh 16:1-4 KJV
(1) These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
(2) They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
(3) And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

(4) But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.

We …who are the believers of the Word of Truth…are the “devils” that they will cast out as they supposedly do “wonderful works” in His name…that is, in His authority.

Mat 7:21-23 KJV
(21) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
(22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

(23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

They will persecute us….but we are to patiently endure it. They will cause our souls to be troubled….but let us not “draw back” to the man-based churches during their persecutions of us. If we draw back, we draw back unto perdition.

Heb 10:38-39 KJV
(38) Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

(39) But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

We must come after Him. We are to leave the man-based churches as they will not believe in what He says to them in the Spirit. We must “take up”…that is, take away…our cross and follow Him out. We must no longer be pegged down in them. We must pull up our stake and leave them and never look back.

Mat 16:24-25 KJV
(24) Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

The man-based churches will persecute us for doing so. Our souls shall be troubled by them. Let us not render evil for their evil.

We must not seek to save our “life”…that is, SOUL…or we will lose it. We are not to draw back to the man-based churches in order to save our souls from being troubled by them. We must not be fearful of them. Don’t be troubled and afraid of their “terror.” 1 Peter 3:14 .

We will save our soul if we lose it instead of trying to save it from being troubled from their persecutions by going back to the man-based churches.

(25) For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

When afflictions or persecutions arise for believing in the Word of Truth, some will IMMEDIATELY be tripped up.

Mar 4:16-17 KJV
(16) And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

(17) And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

Out of fear will they draw back to the man-based churches that they had just clean escaped from. But they will draw back to perdition.

Notice that the FEARFUL are listed first who shall draw back to perdition….having a part in the lake of fire….along with the rest of the unbelievers of the Word of Truth….

Rev 21:7-8 KJV
(7) He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

(8) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of....

Peace in Christ.

We are to “awake” and arise out of the dead ones….out of the dead man-based churches… and Christ will give us light so that we may shine His glory to the people of the outside world who are sitting in deep darkness.

Without this arising from out of the dead man-based church gatherings, we remain in darkness and are not shining His light to the rest of the people of this earth.

Eph 5:14
(14) Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from (out of) the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Darkness is upon the faces (plural) of the deep as the people of the outside world have no form of Christ to see with their eyes and they are void….void of the knowledge of the glory of God. The man-based churches have no light to shine to them. They have all fallen short of the glory of the Lord.

Gen 1:1-4 KJV
(1) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
(2) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
(3) And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

(4) And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness

We are the “heavens” that have no light to shine to the people of the outside world who are in deep darkness. His people have no understanding. They have no knowledge to do good.

Jer 4:22-23 KJV
(22) For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

(23) I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

We must "ARISE" out of the dead man-based churches....departing from them. We must arise out of the dead man-based churches (where there is no shining light) so that Christ will give us His light. We can then show forth the glory of the LORD to the rest of the people of this earth who are in deep darkness.

Isa 60:1-3 KJV
(1) Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

(2) For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

Shining His glory light will attract the saved among the people of the outside world.

(3) And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

We must not be partakers with the man-based churches.

We are in darkness when we are “partakers with them”. " You were sometimes darkness" We are unclean when we sit together with them. Those who will continue to sit together with them (after hearing the Word of Truth) have no inheritance in the kingdom/reign of Christ and of God.

Eph 5:5-8 KJV
(5) For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
(6) Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
(7) Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

(8) For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

We who hear the Word of Truth and believe it are not to be unequally yoked together with the unbelievers of the man-based churches. They will also hear the Word of Truth but will not believe in it. They will not receive the love of the truth and be saved. What communion has light with darkness? It doesn’t. We can no longer sit together with them. This is not speaking about the people of the outside world but is speaking about people in their church gatherings.

2Co 6:14-18 KJV
(14) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

(15) And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

What agreement does the temple of God (we are the temple of God) have with “idols”…that is, images?

Their church handwritings of ordinances/dogmas are the “images” that they are keeping and serving (such as “statements of faith” ) and they are firmly established in their gatherings. They do not move from their places. What agreement should we have with them? None.

(16) And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

We are unclean when we sit together with them.

It is the true “fornication” that we are supposed to flee from. We are to hear His Holy (to be separate for sanctification) Commandment and do it. His Holy Commandment is to come out from among them and be separate and not be attached to the unclean.

(17) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
(18) And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

We must “clean escape” from the man-based churches as they are living in error.

2Pe 2:18-22 KJV
(18) For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

They will seek to bring those who have just escaped from them through “great swelling words of emptiness”. They will promise them liberty. They will promise the world to you to get you back.

(19) While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

We are to escape the pollutions of the “world” …the orderly arrangement of their church handwritings of ordinances/dogmas. Their whole “church” is built flimsily upon their handwritings of which they whitewash with “Lord, Lord” written all over them.

If we escape the pollutions…the defilement…of their gatherings which are centered around their written orderly arrangements through the “knowledge”…the full knowledge…of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are entangled again with them and overcome, the latter end is worse with us than the beginning.

(20) For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

The way of righteousness is to escape from them completely. This is the way that leads to life…His manifest life in our mortal bodies.

Let us hear the Holy Commandment that is delivered to us to keep and not turn away from it. Let us not return back to the man-based churches no matter what. We must make a clean escape from them and have nothing to do with them anymore.

(21) For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
(22) But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

This is the “way of truth” (departing from the man based churches ) that will be evil spoken of by the man-based churches who will continue to listen to their false teachers in them and speak evil…following their pernicious ways. MANY will follow after their false teachers and think that they will have "peace and safety" to behave in unrighteousness towards those who will depart from them.

2Pe 2:1-2 KJV
(1) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

(2) And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

Meth addicted husband

Did you know of these issues when you married him?

Yes unfortunately. I know nothing about ADHD and Adderall. He told me meth was the same thing and that he promised that he didn't do that much and that he would stop once he got back on Adderall. I am an empath and I know I made a mistake in trusting that. I'm human. Then as the months went on I found out he was doing both and since then I've tried to hold him to his promise. It is what it is. I can't turn back time now. I know the mistake I made.

Who are the donors to the new White House Ballroom -

Since history is so important, perhaps the next Democrat president could restore the White House to the 1811 version.
I don't care if a Democrat restores the White House or returns it to how it was in 1811 or 1940. Both sides are making too much of this issue. The President has always had the authority to renovate the White House, and that right applies to whoever is president—now Trump, tomorrow someone else.

Speaker Johnson describes planned No Kings rally as ‘hate America,’ ‘pro-Hamas’ gathering

1) Healthcare
2) Wages
3) Democracy

If I ever catch you complaining about things in America, say transgender issues or something, I'll let you know that if you want a more repressive government then you can always move to Saudi Arabia.

How so on #3 Democracy? The United States had an election in November 2024 and the people who could take the time and responsibility to vote did so. It's not like Trump was some unknown candidate, everyone knew what was comming. "I didn't vote and I'm unhappy with the results!"

The root of sin, behaviour and God's presence and power boils off, Satan, persuasion, 3 deaths, repentance, salvation?

As soon as you see the obvious, but unseen, that the tempter inhabited their dust bodies, it's no longer a question of just Adam or just Eve

But the tempter within them both

Agreed.
Now who are you going to blame?

Adam was God's son, Luke 3:38

Did God then bear a lawless son? What does that say of The Father?

No, Genesis says that God saw everything He'd made and it was very good. Things only went wrong when Eve, then Adam listened to and obeyed the temptation of the serpent instead of obeying God.
Jesus showed us many times in many ways that the unseen adversaries inhabit people.

Our own minds can perceive this intrusion because it's real, internal, unseen AND unwanted

Yet it happens, regardless of what we will
Ultimately, all sin begins with the devil, but that is not an excuse for sinners to say "Not my fault. The devil gave me the idea." That is just what Adam and Eve did. In fact Adam came very close to blaming God:

“Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.”” (Ge 3:12 NKJV)

Eve blamed the serpent. Yet God punished all three. He saw all three as guilty.

Chicago principal claims teacher who made sick Charlie Kirk gesture is the victim

That’s not what communism is nor does it have anything to do with what Mamdani is proposing for NYC.
Believe what you wish! He will be a disaster for NY if elected.
Opinions aren’t facts.
Sometimes , but in this case my opinion is factually correct.

Jesus did not do away with the law in Mat 5:17

Its Jesus who is God that said John14:15-18 not the Pharisees. Jesus condemned the Pharisees for keeping their man-made laws/traditions over obedience to the commandments of God. Mat15:3-14 Mark7:7-13
Jesus condemned children of the DEVIL in them, John 8:44

Your position doesn't account for the unseen adversaries with those people.

Yet Jesus showed us this fact many times in many ways. Devils, the tempter, operate within

You can't change what Jesus said plainly. You can but we are warned Pro30:6
Again, your position only sees people. It's a common lack of insight.
We can either be like the Pharisees and keep our own rules, or be a child of God
It was never an either or position to start with. You just again miss the obvious but unseen other parties and see only people.

Jesus did not see that way
and obey Him through faith and love.
The evil within no one obeys.
Luke 6:46 John14:15 Exo20:6 1John5:3 Whoever we obey is who we serve Rom6:16 one reconciles us Rev 14:12 Rev 22:14 the other does not Mat7:23 1 John2:4 Rev22:15
Jesus did not say Mark 7:21-23 was optional. It's a hard line fact
