Hello, everyone!

I've actually been on CF since late 2021, but I haven't done an introduction yet, so here I am, haha.

Well, my name is Christian, but I usually go by Chris. I am a college student studying computer science, and I originally joined these forums to fellowship with fellow Christians. My purpose in life, from what I've seen so far, is a bit different from everyone elses. I'm still questioning whether I truly deserve to libe, but God will show me in the future. So far, from what I've seen throughout my 19 years on Earth, it's leaning towards no, but I don't fully know yet.

Anyways, I've been raised on God ever since I came out the womb, and I read the bible daily. So now, I come on here to get a better understanding of the Bible, and the word of God and Christ.

That's my introduction after a year-and-a-half of having this account finally, haha. Nice to meet you all, and I hope we can converse in the future!

How Is A Person Truly Baptised With The Spirit?

In the face of the many views and opinions surrounding the baptism with the Spirit, we need to give a clear set of principles that ensure that when a person seeks the baptism with the Spirit, he or she is getting the real thing and not some kind of false experience in which they think they are baptised with the Spirit when they are not. We see many Youtube videos where groups of people have shown what they believe are the effects of the filling of the Spirit. We have seen people jerking, shaking, maniacal laughing, drunken behaviour, falling down, and speaking in what they call tongues, as well as uttering "prophecies" that contain religious "buzz words" but actually say nothing of significance. Comparison has been made of the type of kundalini behaviour within pagan Hindu gatherings, and it is observed that the conduct is exactly the same as is seen in Charismatic groups that feature the conduct. Are these people really baptised with the Holy Spirit? Well, let's see the Scriptural steps in order to enter into it.

Firstly, a person needs to be truly converted to Christ. How does he?
1. He experiences conviction of sin where he realises that he is lost in his sins, already condemned and deserving of hell, and that God is angry with him every day, and if he continues in the direction he is going, he will end up in hell. Unless he is enlightened about this, he has not reached first base regardless of how religious he becomes.
2. He accepts and believes the true Gospel which shows him that Jesus Christ bled and died on the Cross to take the punishment for sin upon Himself. He knows that believing the Gospel is needed to flee from the wrath of God to come to the only Person who can save him: Jesus Christ.
3. He receives Christ as Saviour and repents of all known sin, forsaking the works of the flesh, developing a hatred and fear of sin, and a love for righteousness and holiness.
4. He seeks God with all his heart for the Holy Spirit to work conversion to Christ within him which is the transformation to where he can say that he is a new creature, old things have passed away, and all have become new.

This what true conversion to Christ really is. The problem is that many claiming the baptism with the Spirit have little or no knowledge of the Gospel which I have just described. If they don't know what the Gospel is all about, they are just pretending to be filled with the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit will only be within a truly converted believer who has received the righteousness of Christ. The tragedy is that most if not all Charismatic groups that feature the kundalini type manifestations do not preach the true Gospel, and treat Jesus as some kind of comfort blanket or just a friend who will just accept them as they are without them making any effort to repent of their sins and seek Him for true Holy Spirit conversion to Christ. Often they are not born again, and consequently they are not Christian according what the true Gospel points out.

The baptism with the Spirit does not come with a group surrounding a candidate, laying hands on them and teaching them how to speak in tongues, getting him to make random sounds faster and faster until he is speaking some kind of gibberish. What follows is how the baptism with the Spirit is actually received:
1. He or she must know beyond doubt that the baptism with the Spirit is God's will for them.
2. They must ask for it. This is a Scriptural principle for receiving anything according to God's will.
3. They must tell the Lord that they receive it. God hands it out to them upon them asking, but the person takes it out of God's hands by faith through saying, "I receive it."
4. They then can know they are baptised with the Holy Spirit, not according to any kind of experience or sensual feeling but because they have taken Scriptural steps and so God's Word says that because they have asked and received, they have it according to God's Word.
5. At this point they become aware that they can speak in tongues, so they step out in faith saying words and sounds, and then the flow of the Spirit comes out of them in an articulate and expressive language. They are not taught to speak in tongues. It is the flow of the Spirit like a river of living water that comes out of their innermost being.

I firmly believe that the only way that a believer can have the guaranteed assurance that they are baptised with the Spirit and have the true gifts of tongues and prophecy is that they have come through the conversion to Christ process and then used the Scriptural steps to receive the baptism with the Spirit.

I know that there are those who believe that they should receive the Holy Spirit through some spontaneous process without any action of faith on their part. But I believe that anything we receive from God is through acting in faith on the promises of God's Word.

The Scripture says that if we repent of our sins and receive Christ we will be baptised with the Spirit. It seems that the conversion process seems fairly strict without variation of choice, but isn't this is what entering into the strait and narrow gate is all about. Bypassing the conversion process is like coming over the wall instead of through the gate.

WHAT is Daniel's Abomination?

WHAT is Daniel's "Abomination of Desolation"?
WHERE does it happen and WHEN does it happen?

I will answer those questions on this post - because
we are told the Last Saints "shall see" this event and
we are told they are SUPPOSED to understand.

Mat 24:15
When ye [Last Saints] therefore SHALL SEE the Abomination of Desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,
stand in the holy place, (
whoso readeth, let him understand)

This is a different kind of Post
I am going to allow SCRIPTURE to do most of the Talking.

The first Scripture we examine about the Abomination is in Dan 11:31.
Now, throughout this post I will be providing understanding that remained "closed-up" and "sealed"
to all Saints until the Last Saints "shall understand" at the "Time-of-the-End" [Dan 12:4 and 12:8-10]

If someone thinks the "understanding" being shown in the passage is incorrect,
the Bible commands that Believer to search the Scriptures to either CONFIRM the Truth with harmony of Scriptures,
or REFUTE that doctrine by showing contradicting Scriptures. The Bible does not offer the Believer the luxury of simply
DENYING a doctrine without Biblical validation. In other words: Personal "feelings" cannot ever establish Biblical Truth.

Dan 11:31
And ARMS [the Ten "Kings/Horns"] shall stand on HIS [the Little Horn's] part,
and they
[BOTH] shall pollute the sanctuary of strength [defile the 4th Kingdom],
and shall take away the daily sacrifice [of His Cross alone], and they shall place
the Abomination that maketh Desolate. [they give their Kingdom to the Beast]

I have presented DOCTRINE about the Abomination...
It would be wise to TEST this understanding with other passages.
Let's look at Daniel 7 & 8 to see whether we can find more information
on Daniel's Abomination:

Dan 8:9
And out of
one of them [Ten "Kings/Horns"] came forth a Little Horn [the Anti-Christ], which waxed exceeding great, toward the south,
and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven;
and it cast down some of the host
[some of the Ten "Kings/Horns"] and of the stars [and the Last Saints] to the ground, and stamped upon them.
[He overcame the Last Saints]

Dan 7:8
I considered the [Ten] Horns, and, behold, there came up among them another Little Horn,
before whom there were
three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: [the Last Saints are "plucked up by the roots"]
and, behold, in this [Little] Horn were eyes like the eyes of man [the Anti-Christ is a man], and a mouth speaking great things.

Dan 8:11
Yea, he [the Little Horn] magnified himself even to the prince of the host, [he showed himself that he was God - 2 Thess]
and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, [faith in the Cross alone ended] and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
[the fourth Kingdom was trodden down]

2Th 2:4
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped;
so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Dan 8:12
And an Host [Ten "Kings/Horns"] was given him [was given TO him] against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression,
[because the Ten "Kings/Horns" sin of not trusting in the Cross alone] and it [the Fourth Beast] cast down the truth to the ground;
and it practised, and prospered. Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake,

How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary
and the host to be trodden under foot?
[what is the DURATION of the Abomination of Desolation?} And he said unto me,
Unto two thousand and three hundred days; [the Abomination lasts for 2300 literal days "evenings/mornings"]
then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. [then the Last Saints will "see" the Abomination and "flee"]

Mat 24:15
When ye [Last Saints] therefore SHALL SEE the Abomination of Desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,
stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand)

2Th 2:8

And then [when the Last Saint "shall see" the Abomination] shall that Wicked be revealed,
[the Anti-Christ can be NAMED] whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth,
and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

So we have seen WHEN the Abomination happens - during Daniel's Fourth Beast/Kingdom
And we have seen WHERE the Abomination happens - within the Ten "Kings/Horns"... representing the "Ten Virgins" of the Great Tribulation...
these are the LAST "wheat and tares", the PEOPLE who are living during the Revelation Beast. And we have seen WHAT the Abomination was...
the Saints abandoning faith in the Cross alone and being RULED by the Anti-Christ as he "sits in the Temple" showing himself to be God...

But the BEST picture of Daniel's Abomination is in Revelation 17:17
In verses 12-13 we see the WHO and WHEN and WHERE... and we see the WHAT
as the Last Saints "shall give their power and strength to the Beast".
THAT is the Abomination of Desolation.

Rev 17:12-13
And the TEN HORNS which thou sawest are TEN KINGS, which have received no kingdom as yet; [when John wrote]
but [they] receive power as kings one hour with the Beast. [during the Fourth Kingdom] These have one mind,
and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

Then in verse 17 we see the BEST description of Daniel's Abomination
as the Last Saints "give their Kingdom to the Revelation Beast"
THAT is Daniel's Abomination

Rev 17:17
For God hath put in their [the Ten "Kings/Horns/Virgins"] hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree,
and give their Kingdom unto the Beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

---------------

Daniel's Abomination of Desolation is shown from different perspectives of the Saints being RULED
by the Anti-Christ during Daniel's Fourth Beast (Revelation Beast and Great Tribulation Kingdom)
but the BEST description is the Saints abandon faith in the Blood of Christ alone...
and they then "give their Kingdom to the Beast".

So now we "see" the WHO, WHEN, WHERE, and WHAT
of Daniel's Abomination of Desolation finally revealed.

My Family After Mom's Death

I have decided to not have a relationship with my brothers and sisters. They have become toxic to me. My mother was imperfect, but I don't believe she was evil. My brothers and sisters think that she was evil. And they have nothing nice to say about her. It is painful to hear. So, I have decided to not have a relationship with my brothers and sisters. I don't know how I am going to tell them. People tell me that I am rebelling against God for not wanting a relationship with them. But I don't see how. You either love someone or you don't. It isn't a choice. But is love a feeling or a choice? If love isn't a feeling, then I can be there for them without having a relationship. For example, I will not come for Christmas, but I can come in the Summer to cut wood. But then go home right after. It is not fair for anyone to demand that I relate to people that are emotionally abusive. Doesn't the Bible tell me to protect my heart? Then that is what I am going to do.

I just don't know what to do. What about when the Bible tells you that if someone sins against you, confront them, but if they don't repent have nothing to do with them, but if they do repent, forgive them? Doesn't that apply here?

My brother and sisters won't leave me alone. But why should I continue to relate to my brothers and sisters? I know that people will say it's because God has forgiven you, which I am not sure that he has. But God only forgives when we recognize our sin and repent of our sin and turn away from our sin. Not when we continue in our sin without repentance. Of course, we may because of habits like swearing or something like that. It's hard to just stop bad habits. But this is different. They do this without repentance. They hurt me when they do this, and they know it. I don't want a relationship with them.

Please help

What should I say to them? I will not argue with you. What am I supposed to do?

Reps. Greene, Gosar lost committee seats over extremist comments. Under McCarthy, they’re back.

Two Republican lawmakers who were previously expelled from House committees over their extremist or violent remarks have been given committee assignments again, days after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) won the gavel.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) will be seated on the Homeland Security Committee and Rep. Paul A. Gosar (R-Ariz.) will be seated on the House Natural Resources Committee, according to two people familiar with the assignments who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the decisions.

Greene and Gosar, along with Reps. Scott Perry (R-Pa.) and Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) — four of former president Donald Trump’s staunchest and most controversial allies in the House — will be seated on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee. That panel’s chairman, Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), has made investigating President Biden and his family a top priority, with implications for a possible rematch between Biden and Trump in 2024.

OH NO JOE, SAY IT IS NOT SO

Was Hunter making monthly payments of $49,910 to his father? On a home that is currently valued at $1,380,800 by real estate website Zillow.com with an estimated rental value of $7,612?

And that means Hunter Biden was paying almost $50,000 a month “rent” while living in a home owned by his father — more than half a million in a year. And it just happened to be the home where classified documents were found.

We’ve known from Hunter’s laptop that he has connections with Chinese nationals and others who would greatly benefit from classified U.S. intelligence. Might that be why these documents were found there?

We also know that Hunter was kicking the “big guy” large amounts of money. Could an enormous “rent” payment be a way for him to transfer money to his father?

This might be one of the ways Hunter Biden was funneling money to Joe Biden as part of the family’s “10% for the big guy” agreement

Hunter was anxious for his father to meet his new business partner, Tony Bobulinski, who would be the company’s CEO. Bobulinski has gone on the record numerous times to claim that he did indeed meet with Joe Biden at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on May 2 and then briefly the next morning.

In an October 2020 interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, Bobulinski said he was “1,000 percent” sure that Joe Biden was the “big guy” referred to in an email from business partner James Gilliar, who was slated to receive a 10 percent share of the company’s profits.

Do Not Assume That I have Come to Bring Peace

It is natural and quite right that Christians should engage in debate over what the Bible says about the last days and the Return of Jesus. After all, the Bible has a lot to tell us about these issues. Regardless of one’s worldview or faith, the Bible is an ancient and vitally important book that has shaped the course of history and will continue to in the future.

But how can it be that there are so many differing opinions as to what will take place? We do, [mostly] all agree on the most essential point – that is, Jesus will physically Return to earth. It is in the timing of His Return and who exactly is the nation, the people that He Returns to, that there is disagreement.

Jesus said; Do not assume that I have come to bring peace on the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. Matthew 10:34-36
Luke 12:49 I have come to set fire to the earth and how I wish it were already kindled.

Jesus makes statements that contradict today’s picture of Him as a gentle pacifist and seems to differ from what the angels announced at His birth, but it isn’t; they told of the beginning of this age of enmity between God and humanity and the eventual final reconciliation. Matthew 3:12, Psalms 110:5-6

Until that happens, we are still in that age of enmity and God must impose consequences on both our good and evil choices. We have free will, mostly so that we can freely love Him, because only freely chosen love is true love. Thus, if God only rewarded the good but left the evil unpunished, He would act arbitrarily, against His just nature and our free choices would be meaningless.

From Isaiah 63:1-6...I resolved on a Day of vengeance.... we have a graphic description of the Lord carrying out His just retribution against His enemies. The reason for their destruction is foretold in Romans 9:22-23, Hebrews 10:26-27.
Many other passages describe this soon to happen, terrible Day of the Lords wrath. This cannot be at the same time as the Return of Jesus, as the Day of the Lord is a worldwide event, whereas at His Return, Jesus disposes of the beast, the False Prophet and the armies attacking Jerusalem, by the Sword of His Word and NOT by fire.

The fact that the Lord’s garments become blood stained during His Day of vengeance, then - at His Return, it states that He “is robed in a garment dyed in blood”, this proves that the Day of the Lord is some time before His Return.

Isaiah 66:15-16 See; the Lord is coming in fire, His chariots like a whirlwind, bringing retribution in His furious anger. The Lord will judge with fire – by His sword He will test all mankind. Many will be slain by Him.

Many people today, combine prophecies like Isaiah 63 & 66, the wrath of the Lord, with the Return of Jesus. To do this requires that you allegorize either these verses or the accurate descriptions of His Return in Revelation 19, Zechariah 14:3-5 and Matt 24:30

Psalm 50:1-6 The Lord God has spoken and summoned the world. He shines from Zion, in His glory. He will not remain silent, a consuming fire goes before Him and storms rage around Him. The heavens and the earth look on at the judging of His people. Gather to Me, My loyal servants, those, who by sacrifice have made a covenant with Me. The heavens will proclaim His justice, for God Himself is judge. Ezekiel 34:11-16

The Lord’s loyal servants are gathered into Zion, all the Promised Land. Ezekiel 20:34-38 Then, it isn’t until later, when the Great Tribulation is over, that Jesus Returns, destroys His attackers, gathers all His people and reigns for 1000 years.

Therefore, the next event on the prophetic calendar is the Lords Day of vengeance.

delivered from death in a crash.

while on the way to work, was coming down a ice hill. Then went into hydroplane . There was no road only ice. You could stop at the sign and go left or right. If you went forward you go off a cliff. What is worse is a brick house is way down there. I hollered the name of Jesus and my vehicle made a sound like pavement was under me. and stopped right at the stop sign. Praise his name.

Matt Schlapp of CPAC schlapped with a sexual battery lawsuit; allegedly groped male Herschel Walker staffer [Carlton Huffman]

This has been percolating for a while, but anonymously. In some ways, it's still anonymous as the plaintiff is a John Doe, but it's reached the point of lawyers and lawsuits.

GOP strategist files sexual battery lawsuit against Matt Schlapp

The Republican campaign staffer who has accused Matt Schlapp, a high-profile conservative activist, of sexual assault is now suing Schlapp and his wife, Mercedes, for more than $9 million.

The sexual battery civil lawsuit, filed Tuesday in the Virginia Circuit Court in Alexandria, also accuses both Schlapps of defamation and of conspiracy to impugn the accuser.

The complaint recounts accusations made by a Republican strategist, a male in his late 30s, who alleged that Matt Schlapp fondled him without his consent as he drove Schlapp back to his hotel in Georgia last October.

The Schlapps are both highly visible in Republican spheres and boosters of former President Donald Trump. Matt Schlapp, an alum of George W. Bush’s White House, runs the American Conservative Union, which stages the Conservative Political Action Conference, known as CPAC. Mercedes Schlapp was a communications director in the Trump White House.

The staffer tells CNN he is keeping his legal options, including the possibility of seeking criminal charges, open.

[In addition the texts between Schlapp and the staffer, there are also (I have seen) alleged text messages between the plaintiff and a friend that are from the time of the alleged events. Plaintiff appears to be freaking out.]

Well its been a long time since I was here

I used to come here a long time ago but everytime I try to get closer to God I have a manic episode where I think I am some sort of biblical figure and go off the rails for a month or so then I fear trying to get close to Him again for fear I will have that happen to me again.

I tried to go to a church a long time ago but in the sermon the preacher told everybody that he KNEW that some of them were not saved and was brow beating his own people till I got up and walked out. I mean how on earth would anybody know if somebody is saved. Who does he think he is? Jesus? I think not. I decided after dealing with a few of these churches around here that its not for me. I will say I just have had bad luck dealing with them and leave it at that.

So anyways I am going to try again to get closer to God. Mainly I want to study about Jesus because I really love Jesus. Last night I finished up watching the Passion again for just to remember what He did for me but it gave me a panic attack and I had to go to the ER. I love learning about Him but I dont always agree with what Churches and people say.

Oh by the way I got diagnosed as Schitzoaffective with bipolar type 1. I wasnt sure where I should post so I just came here.

Man Sets 10-Foot Cross on Fire in Front of Catholic Church. Vandalizes Two Other Catholic Churches. Police Unsure of Motive.

I think I have a pretty good idea of motive.

If he had set the cross ablaze in front of an African-American’s house would the motivation still be “unclear?” Or how about the ran around vandalizing three mosques in one night. Would his intentions still be “unclear?”

6ABC News: A suspected vandal targeted three Catholic churches in South Jersey in just a matter of minutes on Friday morning.

Authorities say Peter Sirolli, 40, broke a window and set fires in two of the attacks.

He was arrested on multiple counts including arson, criminal mischief, bias intimidation, desecration of sacred objects and weapons charges.

“We are still actively investigating his social media pages and anything else. We have no ties to any organization that’s anti-Catholic at this time. We are not sure what his motivation is,” said Gloucester Township Police Chief David Harkins.

Investigators say it began at 7:11a.m. Authorities accuse Sirolli of setting a 10-foot cross on fire on the lawn of St. Patrick’s Church in Woodbury.

He also threw rocks through windows at two other churches.

A Large Number of Single Women Are Leaving the Church. Why?

A few years ago, I attended the Women of the World festival in London. Arriving late, I hurried up to a panel called “Faith and Feminism,” which featured a panel of women from different faith backgrounds talking about how they merged their religious beliefs with their feminist convictions. Halfway through the event, something surprising happened. A thirty-something-year-old woman in the audience abruptly raised her hand. The chair of the panel gestured for the microphone to be passed to the audience member and there was an uncomfortable stirring while we all waited.

Then a clear voice rang out: “I’m so tired of fighting Christian church leaders to be treated equally but I don’t want to leave the church. So, what do I do?” She paused before reformulating her question: “How do I stay?”

That question stuck with me long after the festival ended. At the time, I was just beginning five years of in-depth research with single Christian women in the US and the UK and had no idea just how many of them were asking the very same question.

It turns out that in both countries, single Christian women are leaving churches at increasingly high rates. In the UK, one study showed that single women are the most likelygroup to leave Christianity. In the US, the numbers tell a similar story.

Of course, there is a distinction between leaving church and leaving Christianity, and these studies do not make the difference clear. Regardless, leaving – whether it be your congregation or your faith — is a difficult decision. Women stand to lose their friends, their sense of identity, their community and, in some cases, even their family. And yet, many are doing it anyway.

What or who is driving them out?

Lawsuit: CVS Wrongly Fired Christian Employee for Objections to Abortifacients, Contraception

At least two other nurse practitioners in Kansas and Virginia have filed federal lawsuits against CVS over the policy.

A Christian nurse practitioner has filed a federal lawsuit against CVS Health, charging that a CVS pharmacy wrongly fired her from her job after it ended her longtime accommodation of her religious objections to contraceptives and abortion-causing drugs.

Attorneys with the Plano, Texas-based religious freedom legal group First Liberty Institute say Robyn Strader’s case is important for all Americans who might face pressure to choose between following their faith and keeping their job.

“After accommodating Robyn for six and a half years without a single complaint, CVS fired her because it simply did not like her pro-life religious beliefs,” Christine Pratt, counsel for First Liberty, said in a Jan. 13 statement.

“It is illegal to issue a blanket revocation of all religious accommodations when it is so easy for CVS to accommodate its employees,” Pratt continued. “CVS is sending a message that religious health care workers are not welcome and need not apply.”

California becomes the latest state to require "Salary Transparency"

I think this is a good move on the part of the states that have started doing this.

While the laws don't require employers to divulge what each individual makes (For example, it's not gonna say "Hey everyone else on the team, Joe Smith makes $70k!")

It's now required for salary ranges for each job title to be published. I see this as a net positive on a couple of fronts.

1) With layoffs happening in some geographical regions and in certain sectors, there's going to be a lot of job changing in the coming few years. Which means a lot of people relocating. Knowing what the acceptable range is for a position in a different city can be helpful for potential applicants so they know what a reasonable number is to throw out on an interview and don't ask for too much or too little.

2) It can help existing employees know if they're getting ripped off or not. If a person's been a solid performer and been at their job for 5 years, and they can see that they're at the bottom of the range listed for their position, that can help provide the documentation they need to have a conversation with their boss about an increase.

The Embrace

The Embrace is a 20 foot tall bronze sculpture recently installed in the Boston Common. It was commissioned as a tribute to Martin Luther King. The sculptor, Hank Willis Thomas, based it on a photo of Dr. King hugging his wife Coretta after winning the Nobel Peace Prize. I understand the intention. But in the photos, the only clearly identifiable arms appear to be Coretta’s. And it looks like they’re holding up part of a thick, round inner tube.

I do like abstract art. This one will take some time. What do others think?

Man Wearing Jesus T-Shirt Booted from Mall of America. “People are Offended.”

To be clear, the t-shirt merely said Jesus is the only way and Jesus saves. That’s it.

This isn’t in Dubai. This isn’t in England or even Canada. This is the Mall of America.

How did we get to a “Jesus Saves” t-shirt is offensive and must be removed.

Some may point out that this man had been kicked out of the mall in the past for preaching but that’s not the case here. The security guard clearly tells him if he just removes the shirt he can shop freely. It’s about the shirt.

No word yet on whether this is policy at the Mall of America or it’s just a wacko security guard. The guard did say that they’d received complaints that the shirt was offensive. This is the soup we’re marinating in. If it’s offensive, have it removed!!!

Democratic Mayor says there is no room for immigrants in NY

New York Mayor says "no room" in his city for migrants

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The mayor of New York traveled to the Mexican border city of El Paso on Sunday and declared that "there is no room in New York" for busloads of migrants being sent to America's most populous city.

Eric Adams, a Democrat, was also critical of the administration of Democratic U.S. President Joe Biden, saying "now is the time for the national government to do its job" about the immigrant crisis at America's southern border.

I need to know what to do

Hello everyone. I need advice. I am a teacher. I work for a private school. I was lucky to find this job as I am a 54 yrs old recent immigrant. I teach Foreign Languages. I love the school and the admins, I worked hard this school year and I have a good relationship with everyone, parents, students and admins. It tyook me a lot of effort. And the benefits are really good.

But.

I now have another student who is transitioning from a sex to another. I already have two of them. They are 10, 12 and 11. Their families and the school are very supportive of their decision.
It is not okay for me though. I think it is a crime and an abomination but I cannot do anything to prevent this. And if I stay I will have to call a girl a boy and vice versa.
I should leave this job, right?
Even if it means leaving my family in an ocean of troubles?
Oh Lord, what do I have to do? I need the money. What can I do?

I think I already know the answer but I need to listen to you.
I do not want to be the accomplice of what I consider a crime for money.

What constitutes the act of "Making up one's own Christianity"?

The intro here is brief:

1) Everyone has to ponder over the essence of Christianity and attempt to make sense out of it.
2) However, in the effort to understand the essentials of Christianity, some people have been cited by others as being "heretics."
3) So, some people may be going off in directions that are too creative and too aloof from the essence of the Christian Faith.
