Concerned Veterans for America and Air Force veteran Darin Selnick discusses Veteran Affairs facing scrutiny for medical care for migrants and the calls for Congress to investigate.

We Are All Hindus Now

Old article but probably more so true today then it was in 2009.

According to a 2008 Pew Forum survey, 65 percent of us believe that “many religions can lead to eternal life”—including 37 percent of white evangelicals, the group most likely to believe that salvation is theirs alone. Also, the number of people who seek spiritual truth outside church is growing. Thirty percent of Americans call themselves “spiritual, not religious,” according to a 2009 NEWSWEEK Poll, up from 24 percent in 2005. Stephen Prothero, religion professor at Boston University, has long framed the American propensity for “the divine-deli-cafeteria religion” as “very much in the spirit of Hinduism. You’re not picking and choosing from different religions, because they’re all the same,” he says. “It isn’t about orthodoxy. It’s about whatever works. If going to yoga works, great—and if going to Catholic mass works, great. And if going to Catholic mass plus the yoga plus the Buddhist retreat works, that’s great, too.”

Yours in the Lord,

Glad to be here!

Hi, thank you for having me here. I am a born again Christian, blessed with mystical experiences, saved by Grace. I consider the path of Christianity a path of spiritual awakening, and I am always grateful to share inspiration with people and to join with everyone in this awakening. Have a blessed day!

The Rapture will happen in the middle of the Tribulation

Those who hold the pre-tribulation rapture position, usually site 1 Thessalonians 5:9 "For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ" But this verse cannot possibly refer to Christians suffering here on earth, because Christians have been persecuted since the first days of the church. We find the timing of the Rapture in Revelation 14:14-16 where the Angel harvests the earth - right in the middle of the tribulation, and just before the time of Jacob's Trouble. This timing is affirmed by two passages where we see saints pulled out of the Tribulation in Revelation 7:13-15 and Revelation 20:4.

We are giving the church faults hope by suggesting we will not have to endure the Tribulation. We need to prepare for these troubled times.

The Triumph of Bidenomics!

The supposedly-left-wing media seems to be doing a great job of discussing Biden's age, but not such a great job covering the stunning success of Bidenomics. Here are some numbers grudgingly reported by the right-wing media.

Inflation is receding and even reversing!

https://www.wsj.com/economy/goods-deflation-is-back-it-could-speed-inflations-return-to-2-c782d434?st=tyypnprf9k8adhu&reflink=desktopwebshare_permalink

Prices for long-lasting items, known as durable goods, have fallen on a year-over-year basis for five straight months. In October, they were down 2.6% from their peak in September 2022, according to data released Thursday by the Commerce Department. That has helped bring down core inflation, which excludes the volatile food and energy categories, to 3.5% in October, from 5.5% in September 2022, as measured by the personal-consumption expenditures price index, the Fed’s preferred inflation gauge.

The economy is growing at the amazing pace of 5.2%!

https://www.wsj.com/livecoverage/stock-market-today-dow-jones-11-29-2023/card/economy-grew-faster-than-thought-in-q3-but-slowdown-expected-CivDqG8scwqDUnP0qZSh

The economy grew faster than previously estimated during the third quarter—at a blistering seasonally- and inflation-adjusted 5.2% annual rate—because there was more fixed investment as well as state and local government spending than initially thought, the Commerce Department said Wednesday.

Even with the UAW strike, job creation is solid. Fears of a recession are disappearing.

US labor market loosens as job gains slow, unemployment rate hits 3.9%

  • Nonfarm payrolls increase 150,000 in October
  • Auto strikes reduce payrolls by 33,000 jobs
  • Unemployment rate rises to 3.9% from 3.8%
  • Average hourly earnings gain 0.2%; up 4.1% year-on-year
The economy added 101,000 fewer jobs in August and September than previously estimated, also suggesting slowing labor market momentum. The report strengthened financial market expectations that the Federal Reserve is done raising interest rates for the current cycle, and improved the chances of the U.S. central bank engineering a "soft-landing" for the economy rather than plunging it into recession as some economists had feared.

Manufacturing employment dropped 35,000, with the UAW strike at Ford Motor (F.N), General Motors (GM.N) and Chrysler parent Stellantis (STLAM.MI) factories as well as at Mack Trucks plants subtracting 33,000 jobs.

Seriously, there isn't much to complain about where the economy is concerned. But you have to go looking for the information.

Where you live and how you live counts in how healthy you are. Whoda thunk?

Perhaps the most illuminating part of the research has to do with the role of racial discrimination in healthcare outcomes. Over the last 28 years, researchers were able to link racism aimed at Black women to increased risks of diabetes, hypertension, accelerated aging, asthma and heart disease.

Another major healthcare determinant — which researchers attributed to structural racism — is one’s zip code. Access to parks, grocery stores, and higher levels of air pollution impacts Black women’s health regardless of their income levels, researchers found.

“We’ve come to realize how much one’s neighborhood environment and social structures, rather than genes, prescribe health outcomes,” said study co-lead Yvette Cozier in a recent report from the university.

“Structural racism affects where people live, how they can exercise, the foods they eat, and the resources available to them,” said Julie Palmer, who co-founded the study. “We didn’t have a name for it 20 years ago, but we have always acknowledged its influence on health, and we are continuing to examine how these racial experiences uniquely affect Black women.”

This amounts to is a realization in individuals that "This place sucks" and a determination to do whatever it takes to move.

What would you say to a person who believes that all three members of the Trinity are extremely dark and wicked?

I have a friend of mine from my childhood who is a completely different man. He tells me nowadays that he believes that God and Jesus Christ are extremely evil people who are just out to destroy everyone eventually. He doesn't believe that Jesus is good and literally hates him. He truly believes that Jesus has a very, very, dark heart. I am confused because I don't know where to start. Any advice?

Revelation 2:17 New name in Heaven

Silly question time. According to Revelation 2:17, we will each receive a white stone with a new name on it that no one knows. It’s a secret name. In some tribes and cultures, people do have common names that they are known by, and introduce themselves to strangers by, and then a secret name that only family and close friends know.

Will our new names be secret because we’re not supposed to tell anybody what it is, or is it secret because up until He gave it to us, only God knew what it was?

Army Tries to Bring Back Soldiers Booted for Refusing the COVID Vaccine

Army Tries to Bring Back Soldiers Booted for Refusing the COVID Vaccine.

In August of 2021, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin made the COVID vaccination shot a requirement for all U.S. servicemembers. President Joe Biden released a statement revealing his strong support before it went into effect. As a result, Politico reported that over “8,400 troops were kicked out of the military for refusing the vaccine.” About a year later, Biden signed a defense bill that repealed the vaccine mandate.

This month, news broke that the Army has sent letters to many of the troops who were ousted, which explains that soldiers can correct their records and reenter the service. The reversal has been met with tremendous backlash.

Retired Army Major Chase Spears wrote about the mistreatment servicemembers faced while the vaccine mandate was in effect. He shared, “The Army requires several immunizations and checkups throughout the year to maintain one’s medical readiness. Not one of those came with the coercive force of the COVID mandate. … It became the primary marker of human worth.” For Spears, the Army officials who heavily enforced the mandate seem to have no remorse for their actions. He added, “Hearkening back to biblical language, you were clean or unclean based on your shot status.”

Spears described the policy reversal as “a step toward sanity,” but concluded “it is far from enough.” “The question is whether those who made such un-American policy decisions can be trusted going forward.” He believes they cannot. Those affected by the military’s course of action have insisted this is a matter of trust and warn the military is about to get a wake-up call from the soldiers who no longer have confidence in the current leadership.

Many of the soldiers affected by the vaccine mandate were deprived of pay and benefits. According to Breitbart, retired attorney Dale Saran and attorneys Andy Meyer and Brandon Johnson are representing former troops who were kicked out “in three separate lawsuits they plan to turn into a class action lawsuit.” Saran estimated roughly “80,000 to 100,000 service members — both active-duty and reservists — who were impacted by the mandate.”

Mike Berry, vice president of External Affairs, director of Military Affairs, and senior counsel for First Liberty Institute, commented to The Washington Stand, “The only way an all-volunteer military works is with trust. But these past few years, the Pentagon has done nothing but shatter the trust of our servicemembers and veterans with lies, broken promises, and incompetence.” He explained that when First Liberty first “sued the Navy over its COVID vaccine mandate,” they warned them that the “unlawful manner in which the DOD was enforcing the mandate would result in a recruiting crisis.”

On Tuesday’s episode of “Washington Watch,” Berry unpacked the mandate’s rollback more. As far as he’s concerned, the problem with the letter is that it “doesn’t say anything about accountability.” He added, “It’s not about accomplishing the mission. And in this case, it’s not about protecting religious freedom, which is one of the things that our military exists to do.” He concluded, “They know what this is all about. This is all about just trying to save face, trying to make sure that on paper, our military is meeting its recruiting and retention numbers.”

Travis Weber, vice president for Policy and Government Affairs at Family Research Council and a Navy veteran, also commented to TWS, “The military never should have coerced its servicemembers to get the vaccine to begin with.” For Weber and all those witnessing the unfolding of the military’s actions, we “are dealing with the fallout as they try to woo back the thousands that they kicked out for refusing to violate their consciences and get the vaccine.”

Weber shared that it’s not surprising that servicemembers would be hesitant to return “to an institution that so easily thrust them aside in the face of public pressure” during COVID, which “the military bowed to along with much of the rest of society.” He concluded, “May this sad episode never be repeated, and may our nation’s military and civilian leadership be on guard to ensure they actually lead and not simply follow the blowing winds of public sentiment.”

Ive done it now.

Im not going to hold anything back in this. imma say it how it is.

I turned to Christ in August 2022. Just over one year ago. Before that I was an atheist desperate in disproving the existence of God. Jesus found me in the dumps and pulled me out. A year and a half later I am still throwing dirt in God's face and sinning quite frequently. My life has adapted a cycle.

Lust

Beg for forgiveness

Move on adamant I wont do it again

Do it again 2 days later

Repeat.

I have tried everything. I have walked away, gone outside, called up a friend, whatever. No matter what I do I give in. I just stop caring in the moment. I essentially flip God off and say "eh he will forgive me later". I just did that now.

A verse comes to mind:

See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no “root of bitterness” springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled; that no one is sexually immoral or unholy like Esau, who sold his birthright for a single meal. For you know that afterward, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no chance to repent, though he sought it with tears. (Hebrews 12:15–17)

I think I may have just done this. I feel cold inside. Helpless. Finished. I never even really got to know God and Ive gone and sinned one too many times. I don't blame God for this. He was good to me, forgiven me more times then I can count. And all I did was tell him to go away, that a couple minutes of pleasure was better then all he could offer. I wish I could go back and do it differently, but as the verse says, I can cry to the high heavens, but no-one will hear.

Of only looking to Jesus…..

Hebrews 12:2 (NASB20)
looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Looking only at the Originator and the Perfecter of the faith, being the Perfecter by causing one to be willing to do the only… For this is what the essence of what the Christian faith is; a only looking to Jesus… As simple as this might sound, the distractions to not look are everywhere, the mind itself being a torrent of distractions…. With the desire to this, the longing after that, the never ending need to be and to do….
But when the one only thing that is necessary is discovered, the only thing necessary comes in and takes its proper place and the heart rests in the only place there is to rest, that place being the only place that puts all of life’s distractions in their place and that place being; one being dead on the cross with Christ…. For a dead man has no more worries of this world, has no more desires after the this or the that of this world, for the freedom and universality of a spirit is the freedom and universality of a dead man in Christ… For one’s life is gone, Christ’s life has come, this life of one only looking to Christ so that He might do with, and in one what He might please…. For it is this faith that has been brought to life in one, this faith being accessed by the will of the heart desiring it to be so, backed by the truth and reality that Jesus did indeed die for one so He might make the believing one into a new creation….
It sounds so simple yet impossible to do, until, one knows one truly has been taken to death by Christ with Him when He died on the cross so He might do exactly that….. Then does this only looking to Jesus become the greatest and most natural action the heart has ever done and can ever do, that being, believing into one’s death on the cross with Christ….
The joy of one’s death on that cross will be discovered to be one’s greatest cause of rejoicing….. For through one’s death on the cross of Christ all things are overcome by the simple yet profound faith of only looking to Jesus….
For Jesus did die and the believing soul with Him, the faith that will grab unto this truth is a faith that will free one from all things…
Be blessed in growing in the faith that frees one from all things…..
House panel chairman says J6 videotapes of witness interviews missing
Rep. Barry Loudermilk says some J6 documents missing too, and came back from Biden White House heavily redacted.
Videotapes of witness interviews that the Democrat-led Jan. 6 congressional committee conducted have vanished, raising concerns for the chairman of the successor House panel that is now examining security failures related to the Capitol riot as well as possible implications for upcoming criminal trials.
“All of the videotapes of all depositions are gone,” Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., chairman of the House Administration oversight subcommittee, told the "Just the News, No Noise" television show Thursday night.
Loudermilk said he believes under the House rules the videotapes qualified as congressional evidence because some clips were aired at hearings, and all the tapes should have been preserved by the now-defunct J6 committee and its chairman, Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss.
Thompson did not return a request for comment from Just the News left with his office.
“We found out about this early in the investigation when I received a call from someone who was looking for some information off one of the videotapes, and we started searching, and we had none,” Loudermilk explained. “I wrote a letter to Bennie Thompson asking for them. And he confirmed that they did not preserve those types. He didn't feel that they had to.
“But according to House rules, you have to preserve any data and information and documents that are used in an official proceeding, which they did, They (J6 Democrats) actually aired portions of these tapes on their televised hearings, which means they had to keep those. But yet he chose not to, I believe they exist somewhere. We've just got to find where all these videos are.”
The revelation also could have implications for criminal trials being conducted in state court in Georgia and federal court in Washington where former President Donald Trump and allies are charged with crimes related to the Jan. 6, 2021 events. Trump’s legal team recently was turned down by a judge when he requested certain evidence from the Jan. 6 committee.
Loudermilk also revealed another tantalizing twist in the J6 committee evidence: the Democrat-led House committee sent certain evidence such as transcripts to the Biden White House and Homeland Security Department and now the transcripts have been returned to Loudermilk’s GOP-led subcommittee nearly fully redacted so their contents can’t be read.
House Republicans have no records of who the witnesses were, what they said, or why it is being used by the federal prosecutor in their case against Trump, Loudermilk said.
The documents “belong to the House. They should have never been sent. And second of all, do not send them back to me this heavily redacted. Those are our documents,” the chairman said. “But my question is, why was it okay for a Democrat-run House of Representatives to have unredacted documents but not when there's a Republican committee that's looking into this. What is it that the committee and or the White House is trying to hide?”
'The Fall of Minneapolis' (documentary)
Journalist Liz Collin has released her important documentary, "The Fall of Minneapolis," on the heels of her book, They're Lying: The Media, The Left, and The Death of George Floyd. The documentary is freely available at www.thefallofminneapolis.com, and on Rumble (link).
Two years ago I wrote about how Derek Chauvin and Jesus Christ could share stories about being convicted by a kangaroo court (link). The evidence is only growing.
Here is a short interview Liz Collin did with Michele Tafoya:
21st Century Christian Theology
There is something I would like to share in this forum and that is to prove that the religion of Christianity is real but on this type of theology which is based on Words and Numbers. All are based on today’s resources which are our English Words and Numbers. To know this new Christian theology, first, you must know Number Fusion, and then apply this to the sequence of our English Alphabet that forms any word or group of words that has a positive or negative nature or effects. For example a set of numbers: 85121215. In whatever process you fuse this set of numbers, you will come up with the same result as 8+5+1+2+1+2+1+5 = 25; further fuse 25 into a single digit, 2+5 = “7”. Or group them as 8512+1215 = 9727; 97+27 = 124; 1+2+4 = “7”. Or another grouping such as 8+5+12+12+15 = 52; 5+2 = “7”.
Now remember that no one has tried to rearrange the sequence of our English Alphabet from A to Z since it was discovered and all words invented or discovered in different generations are now written in different dictionaries with fixed word-spelling. What if those numbers above represent a word's letter sequence? Say; 8 represents the sequence number of letter H, 5 is E, 12 is L, 12 is again L, 15 is O and the word is HELLO? It is clear that this word has a fixed numeric symbol of “7”, is it not? Because the word “Hello” is positive in nature, meaning the numeric symbol is also positive. Try to compute the word HATE; 8+1+20+5 = 34; 3+4 = “7”? Because “Hate” is negative in nature, meaning the numeric symbol is also negative or “-7”.
Aside from seven, it also involved words or groups of words in sixes. Example, this positive word REPENT; 18+5+16+5+14+20 = 78; 7+8 = 15; 1+5 = “6”? The negative is the word SIN; 19+9+14 = 42; 4+2 = “-6”?
I gathered only words or groups of words in sevens and sixes because those are the numbers mentioned in the Book of Revelation and what I gathered is enough for you to believe that this is the formula to calculate and know the man whose number is 666. You might think of other words to compute but the symbol is not in sevens or sixes, such as the words "good" and "nice" with a symbol of "5" and "4" respectively. Some words are looking for a partner in order to reach "7" such as "good luck", "good time", and "nice day".
Example of words and group of words in positive Sevens and Sixes:
I LOVE YOU; 9+12+15+22+5+25+15+21 = 124; 1+2+4 = “7”?
THANK YOU; 20+8+1+14+11+25+15+21 = 115; 1+1+5 = “7”?
BEAUTIFUL; 2+5+1+21+20+9+6+21+12 = 97; 9+7 = 16; 1+6 = “7”?
BELIEVE; 2+5+12+9+5+22+5 = 60; 6+0 = “6”?
PRAY; 16+18+1+25 = 60; 6+0 = “6”?
AMEN; 1+13+5+14; 33; 3+3 = “6”?
Example of words in negative Sevens and Sixes:
BAD; 2+1+4 = “-7”?
POISON; 16+15+9+19+15+14 = 88; 8+8 = 16; 1+6 = “-7”?
NASTY; 14+1+19+20+25 = 79; 7+9 = 16; 1+6 = “-7”?
SICK; 19+9+3+11 = 42; 4+2 = “-6”?
ILL; 9+12+12 = 33; 3+3 = “-6”?
PORNO; 16+15+18+14+15 = 78; 7+8 = 15; 1+5 = “-6”?
Because I have so many of these words to support this new theology, and if you want to know more, please go to my YouTube channel, search “somruppun” and check my videos for Positive and Negative Sevens and Sixes. Meanwhile, there are also important words that are nouns that have symbols of Seven such as;
CHURCH; 3+8+21+18+3+8 = 61; 6+1 = “7”?
EARTH; 5+1+18+20+8 = 52; 5+2 = “7”?
(Same as the word “Heart”, right?)
Now for your assignment, please compute this famous name…
JESUS CHRIST? (If you don't try to compute, this wisdom will not be transferred to you.)
How about HOLY SPIRIT?
In addition to Sevens and Sixes are the “11” or “2”. Further fusing 11 is 1+1 = “2”. They are just the same. And these numbers 11 or 2 can pinpoint what is really the Church that Jesus promised to build and can locate the Promised Land.
Who did really come? It is the man given wisdom in Revelation 13:18 and calculates or computes the symbol of a man whose number is 666. This 666 has already come and died and because of his knowledge, it scared humanity in this generation Y2K.
This man-given wisdom is the one mentioned in John 16:13-14 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. What do you think Jesus has that this man-given wisdom will take and declare to you? You all believed that Jesus was/is coming and believed that Jesus was the Man of Sorrows. But of course, before you accept his declaration, he should present abundant proofs of computations that will support this new Christian theology.
Trump calls on supporters to 'guard the vote' in Democratic-run US cities
Donald Trump, the frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination, told his supporters on Saturday to "go into" Philadelphia and two other Democratic-run cities to "guard the vote" in 2024, repeating his unfounded claims of widespread election fraud in 2020 as justification for the call to action.
"So the most important part of what's coming up is to guard the vote. And you should go into Detroit and you should go into Philadelphia and you should go into some of these places, Atlanta," Trump said in Ankeny, a suburb of Des Moines.
Timothy Naftali, a senior research scholar at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, said Trump's comments calling for scrutiny of elections in large Democratic-controlled cities were concerning because he made them while seeking to undermine trust in U.S. elections.
"We are in a very volatile period in our democracy," Naftali said. "If he is seeking to increase trust in our system, he should be more explicit. But what he said today was in the context of his mistrust of our system."
Does the Mandelbrot Set prove the Mind of God behind what we see.
The Mandelbrot Set is a complex Mathmatical equation which seems to reveal infinite patterns in Math. It also is known for containing Fractals, the Fibonacci Sequence and Pi (Golden Circle.
It seems when all the numbers in the Mandelbrot Set are given a point of colour they form an unusual pattern which was a surpirse to Mathmaticians.
These patterns add up perfectly containing Fibonacci Sequences that can go on forever creating more and more complex patterns that are self similar in that the same Mandelbrot patterns repeats forever spurning out new patterns that become Mandelbrot patterns. This seems to be beyond what any human could have compreheneded or created.
The facinating thing is these patterns are seen in nature, in some flowers like Sun flowers and vegetables like the Cauliflower, on Pine cones, branches and leaves of trees, in river systems, coast lines, snow flakes, lightening bolts and spiral galaxies.
Is this a sign of some underlying Mind behind nature. Is Math discovered or invented or both. Why does the universe and nature fit so well with Math and how is it that we as intelligent beings are designed to know this.
