Leather jacket - made from pig skin - forbidden?

"Life always trumps anything else."
Just to clarify; life is not worth your soul (Mark 8:36). Never accept merging yourself with technology because there is no forgiveness for it. Yeshua died for mankind; not a machine. He died for mankind and mankind only. Anything else is abominable to Him.
Never merge yourself with technology or change your DNA, your human genome, in any way at all.
PS: look up "the Master's Voice Prophecy Blog." She explains this.
Merging yourself with technology for any reason; to preserve life or whatever, is abomination.

Faith, Food and Firearms (A Biblical case for Sensible Gun Regulations)

The 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution was not inserted so people can hunt. The sole purpose of this Amendment was to make sure the people could defend themselves against a tyrannical government. Sort of has relevance today, doesn't it.

Heaven and Earth

Does all of Mosaic law still stand or not?

All sort of laws won't go away as they will be used on the Judgment Day. All sort of laws however have a coverage of scope of humans (or angels). Mosaic Law is a set of laws put under the Mosaic Covenant which is between God and the circumcised Jews (in terms of males but extending to all Jews).

On the other hand, covenants also don't go away completely. They "overlap" instead. The Rainbow Covenant given to Noah is about laws written in our heart, which is our conscience deep inside. When the series of Jewish covenants are granted to the Jews, it by no means says that Jews don't need to follow the call of self-conscience to act. It only means that when humans go farther away from God, their hearts are hardened to actually feel from the conscience given to them. God gives something well-written to Jews for them to observe. Jewish covenants are something "added upon" the conscience based Rainbow Covenant.

Similarly, once we adapted the New Covenant to be saved it by no means says that we don't need to follow the call of conscience to act. It's rather the same token that we are far away from God to act on laws written to our heart reliably that we need to be saved by faith instead. The Rainbow Covenant can still be there, we however can hardly fully observe it to be saved. We need to pick the New Covenant to be saved.

That being said. The Rainbow Covenant covers all mankind. The Jewish covenants including the Mosaic Covenant are added upon while covering only the Jews (with males circumcized). The New Covenant can cover both the Jews and gentiles. To the Jews it's yet another added-upon to the Mosaic Law. So if they are still circumcized to call themselves Jews, they need to observe the Mosaic Law at the same time, although they can't observe it in full to be saved.

In summary,
Jews - Rainbow Covenant - Mosaic Covenant - New Covenant
They need to observe all of the above, but theoretically they can only be saved throught the New Covenant.
Gentiles - Rainbow Covenant - New Covenant
They need to observe the two above, but they can only be saved through the New Covenant. They can't observe the former in full to be saved.

Humor

Amen!!!!!!!! Humor is truly a secret gift of God! It can turn the darkest moments into a time of joy. That said, I have unfortunately learned the hard way what "Too Soon" means. People can be so unappreciative of good humor, sometimes! :p

I Love your study as usual.

A little old Christian lady comes out onto her front porch every morning and shouts, "Praise the Lord!"
And every morning the atheist next door yells back, "There is no God!"
This goes on for weeks. "Praise the Lord!" yells the lady. "There is no God!" responds the neighbor.
As time goes by, the lady runs into financial difficulties and has trouble buying food. She goes out onto the porch and asks God for help with groceries, then says, "Praise the Lord!"
The next morning when she goes out onto the porch, there are the groceries she asked for. Of course, she shouts, "Praise the Lord!"
The atheist jumps out from behind a bush and says, "Ha! I bought those groceries. There is no God!"
The lady looks at him and smiles. She shouts, "Praise the Lord! Not only did you provide for me, Lord, you made Satan pay for the groceries!"
Haha, that is a good joke. Also, it is good that this devotional was useful. By the way, I made a joke about Samuel, Saul, and En-dor around two months ago, as the OP question was "Did Samuel appear to Saul in En-dor?" That is my humor style.

I Am Yours

When I think of You, Lord,
In the watches of the night,
I am filled with wonder
At the power of Your might.

All that lies before me,
All that You have planned for me,
Fills my life with purpose,
So my heart now sings with glee.

Each day in Your presence,
As my heart draws close to You,
I want to adore You,
And, to You, always be true.

Thank You for Your grace, Lord,
For forgiveness of my sins,
So I walk in freedom,
In Christ, purified within.

Love You, Lord, my Savior,
On a cross You gave Your life,
So I’d live in vict’ry,
Because of Your sacrifice.

With Your love, You bless me,
For, You called me to be Yours,
Lord, I am Your servant,
Living daily in Your pow’r.

SC Senate Passes Bill Banning Affirmative Care For Minors

The activists aren't in charge of the American Medical Association. Try again
No they aren't, but the AMA is using their guidelines. I've said that how many times now?
You provided a source that said 80% of teens end up regretting their treatment. Don't think so.
Yes I have. In the other threads on this very issue. And I know you have participated in them. You didn't read them or pay attention to them then. Why would you now?
have shown you what the AMA says and the DMS=5 criteria. Time to show me yours.
You said we are doing clinical research like Europe. You need to provide evidence for that or admit you don't really know.

Did the chief priests understand that Jesus claimed God's authority?

Even though Jesus did not give them a direct answer, did they get Jesus' point that God gave him the authority?

Jesus continued:

The master was the Father, and the son was Jesus. God sent Jesus, and Jesus had God's authority.

Thanks Tony,

To me, this is the beginning of the Gospel According to John.

In the beginning was the Word, the spirit that is the Divine will of The Father void of internal temptations and void of any chance of failure.
And the Word was With God, the Word that became flesh as Jesus in the Authority the law, the eternal heavenly authority.
And the Word was God, the Creator, The Father.

To me, this is the Logic of the Divine spirit amd is three persons in the One God as united in The Christ., the Body of God.

And please I leave this open to verification through the Logic that is present in the teachings of The Christ.
Thanks for, Tony for your help in my wording in an earlier post to help all in His Will as united.

Peace always,
Stephen Andrew

DA Allen Bragg Sues Rep Jordon for Interference/Obstruction

Testimony set for July 12th

Manhattan DA Bragg, who secured Trump conviction, to testify before GOP-led House Judiciary Committee

In related news, there was a ridiculous scene in Judiciary today:

Jim Jordan takes Matt Gaetz to the woodshed for derailing Trump conviction hearing

Moments after the hearing got underway on Thursday, Chairman Jordan called on Gaetz to question witnesses for five minutes. However, Gaetz offered a motion to subpoena Bragg and Assistant District Attorney Matthew Colangelo.

"Mr. Bragg and Mr. Colangelo have agreed to come on the 12th," Jordan observed. "If they don't show up on the 12th, they will be subpoenaed. I would ask the gentleman if he could withdraw the motion."

[no dice] "I want to vote on my motion, or I want someone to move to table it," the Florida Republican demanded.

[Democrat motion to tab.... *record scratch*]

"Committee will stand in recess," Jordan ordered.
I’ll mark my calendar.

King Artaxerxes sent Ezra and Nehemiah to Jerusalem

Ezra was a descendant of Aaron. He lived at the time of the exile in Babylon during the reign of Artaxerxes, king of Persia. He was a scribe (Ezra 7:6) and a teacher of the Law. He found favor with the king. Artaxerxes wrote a letter addressing him and sent him to Jerusalem, along with the king's generous offerings of gold and silver. Ezra 7:

17 With this money, then, you shall with all diligence buy bulls, rams, and lambs, with their grain offerings and their drink offerings, and you shall offer them on the altar of the house of your God that is in Jerusalem.
It was a spiritual mission. Other Jewish leaders went with Ezra. Before they took off from Babylon, Ezra 8:

21 there by the Ahava Canal I proclaimed a fast, so that we might humble ourselves before our God and ask Him for a safe journey for us and our children, with all our possessions. 22 For I was ashamed to ask the king for an escort of soldiers and horsemen to protect us from our enemies on the road, since we had told him, “The hand of our God is gracious to all who seek Him, but His great anger is against all who forsake Him.”
They prayed and trusted in God's protection along the way.

31 On the twelfth day of the first month we set out from the Ahava Canal to go to Jerusalem, and the hand of our God was upon us to protect us from the hands of the enemies and bandits along the way.
It worked.

A dozen years later, Nehemiah was King Artaxerxes's cupbearer. He wished to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, and the king granted his request.

Nehemiah 2:

9 So I went to the governors of Trans-Euphrates and gave them the king’s letters. The king had also sent army officers and cavalry with me.
For protection, Nehemiah had soldiers traveling with him.

King Artaxerxes sent Ezra to Jerusalem on a spiritual mission carrying silver and gold without a military escort. When he sent Nehemiah, it was on a building project. Nehemiah had cavalry traveling with him.

The Statutes Of The Lord

Psalms 16:5 Lord You alone are my portion and my cup. You make my lot secure.

Portion is inheritance and like Isaac we also are children of the Promise. Yet like Jacob we all have maturing to get through.

Ephesians 4:7 but to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.

John 1:16 out of His fullness we have all received grace upon grace.
Yes! The apostolic doctrine directs us to apply every gift of every member
to the perfection of the Church.

Another doctrine of the Church that is sorely lacking in the acknowledgment
as a statute is for every member to contribute actively to the whole as the Spirit leads.

Ephesians 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that
which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part,
making increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
And Amen.

Mark Wahlberg opens new restaurant with his faith in mind

Unusually for a Hollywood star, the actor made sure to get his new venture running with some heavenly help.

Mark Wahlberg is not one to shy away from the cameras, and likewise, he's also very open about his Catholic faith.

There also seems to be no stopping the Father Stu actor. If he's not filming a blockbuster hit, then he's working on his various businesses, staying impressively fit, enjoying his family, and championing his faith on apps like Hallow.

It's therefore not a surprise that in his latest venture, the actor has made sure that his faith took front and center stage right from the beginning.

In a recent post on social media, Wahlberg shares the grand opening of his restaurant, Flecha Cantina. Along with the crowd and all the ribbon cutting Bishop Vann from Orange County is on hand to bless the restaurant.

Why did Rebekah cover herself when she first approached Isaac?

Abraham's servant took Rebekah from Paddan Aram and headed back to Canaan in Gen 24:

62 Now Isaac had returned from Beer-lahai-roi and was dwelling in the Negeb. 63 And Isaac went out to meditate in the field toward evening. And he lifted up his eyes and saw, and behold, there were camels coming. 64 And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she dismounted from the camel 65 and said to the servant, “Who is that man, walking in the field to meet us?” The servant said, “It is my master.” So she took her veil and covered herself.
What was the significance of covering herself?

Jamieson-Fausset-Brown explained:

The veil is an essential part of female dress. In country places it is often thrown aside, but on the appearance of a stranger, it is drawn over the face, as to conceal all but the eyes. In a bride it was a token of her reverence and subjection to her husband.
Isaac was a stranger and a soon-to-be husband to Rebekah.

Similarly, Gill:

therefore she took a veil, and covered herself; both out of modesty, and as a token of subjection to him: for the veil was put on when the bride was introduced to the bridegroom, as among the Romans (x) in later times. The Arab women always have veils when they appear in public, so that their faces cannot be seen; and though in the summer months they walk abroad with less caution, yet then, upon the approach of a stranger, they put on their veils (y).
(x) Vid. Lucan. l. 2. & Martial. Epigr. l. 2. 74. (y) See Shaw's Travels, p. 228. Tertullian. de Virgin. Veland, c. 17.
Why did Rebekah cover herself when she first approached Isaac?

As Isaac was a stranger, she covered herself as a sign of modesty.

As Isaac was her future husband, she covered herself like a bride to demonstrate her acceptance of him as her husband and to show respect and submission to him.

66 And the servant told Isaac all the things that he had done. 67 Then Isaac brought her into the tent of Sarah his mother and took Rebekah, and she became his wife, and he loved her. So Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death.
It was a romantic scene :)

Why do animals die since they don't sin?

After the fall, God cursed the ground in Genesis 3:
Dinosaurs lived a long life, that is why they got so big. Turtles today were alive at the time. They live 300 years and get very big.

Former Imam Threatened for Following Christ

[5] prayers in [1] nation have been posted for Ahmed.
In West Africa, converts from Islam often face severe persecution.
Ahmed was training to become an imam when he heard someone calling his name, seemingly from above. When he looked up, he saw a man on a cross staring down at him. "When I saw that, I was not able to go to the mosque," he said. "I returned home and didn't attend mosque that day because I was really afraid." Jesus appeared to Ahmed several more times over a period of years, even after he did become an imam. Ahmed described those appearances to the Muslims who attended his mosque, and they thought he was seeing demons. Read More.
