  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

WHY DO WE HAVE A MYSTERY /

#4 YOU / HYMAS , is a PERSONAL POSSESSIVE PRONUN , means to you PERSONALLY , in the ACCUSSATIVE CASE , in the PLURAL , and means all believers .

#5 TO MY / MOU is also a PERSONAL POSSESSIVE PRONOUN , but in the GENTIVE CASE , but SINGULAR .

#6 What is given to US , THE GOSPEL / EUANGELION is the ACCUSATIVE CASE and SINGULAR in other word , just one GOSPEL , called GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD .

Fresh atop the IANAL [I am not a lawyer] files: How does our justice system work?

I’m starting to see a trend in the (seemingly) endless stream of “normal workings of government” being turned into scandal.

Not the latest (by any means) but the “Suspicious Activity Reports” that banks are required by law are required fo produce, are now being waved around as “evidence” that the Bidens are crooked!

They very might well be*, but not by this “evidence”.
This is normal paperwork of the banking industry and the federal government.
Waving it around to convince the people to make sure the good gentlepeople demand that congress (the House ATM), “investigate for evidence of a crime!”, ain’t how our system works.
There has to be evidence of a crime being committed at some previous point in time or at present.

Asking “Are these normally-generated reports evidence of a crime?

No.
No it doesn’t “work that way”; there have to be specific anomalies within the SARs that could indicate felonious activity. You know, “normal”.

Looking to make political hay over “normal things” is what people do, when they can’t find anything better.

Everything is normal=scandal!

We can stop this, tout de suite, and realign with how our Justice system works?
Let’s give that a try?

*Joe rode the train home for thirty years because he was playing the long-game, riiight.

Professor Makes Suggestion of the Year

So a professor has the great and totally unexpected, unpredictable, idea to help remove "bigotry" in your children. Showing them a variety of penises and vaginas in class.

An activist University of British Columbia professor is under fire for claiming young children should be exposed to adult genitals — to prepare them for seeing naked trans people.

In her response, the academic sniffed: “Hey, want to know one of my all-time excellent parenting ideas? Let. Little. Children. See. Penises. And. Vulvas. Of. Various. Ages. And. Sizes. In. A. Casual. Normalized. Totally. Safe. Way.”

Personally, I think we should teach kids to run from people exposing genitalia to them, scream for help, and try to find an adult who isn't a sexual deviant to tell.

I don't have to wonder what's wrong with the teacher.

1. They're part of an activist group with an unhealthy obsession with sexualizing children under the guise of education.

2. They don't care who they hurt, permanently damage, put in harm's way, or psychologically scar for life...as long as it gets them whatever they want.

I'm more curious about those still supporting them. Do you know the difference between a slippery slope and a slippery slope fallacy? If people at least partially blocked their efforts to show genitalia to children in cartoonish children's books and now they want to just show kids the real deal until they're desensitized to it...which one do you think you're on?

A slippery slope?

Or an activist movement that has something to do with "rights"?

More Clarence Thomas 'gifts' from billionaires uncovered

If the GOP is actually oncerned about bribery, they seem to be ignoring obvious examples right in front of them:

Dems revive calls for Clarence Thomas resignation after new report

Democratic lawmakers revived their calls for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to resign from his position Thursday after a new ProPublica report revealed he had taken more unreported luxury vacations funded by billionaires than was previously known.

“Justice Thomas has brought shame upon himself and the United States Supreme Court with his acceptance of massive, repeated and undisclosed gifts,” Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) said on X, formerly known as Twitter. “No government official, elected or unelected, could ethically or legally accept gifts of that scale. He should resign immediately.”

As the high court continues to see record-low public approval and a Democratic-led effort to impose ethics reforms, ProPublica reported Thursday that wealthy benefactors have gifted Thomas at least 38 destination vacations, 26 private jet flights, multiple VIP passes to sporting events and two resort stays during his time on the court — a higher number of billionaire benefactors than was previously reported. Ethics experts, ProPublica reported, said the failure to disclose travel and sports could amount to a legal violation.

How does one forgive oneself?

by forgiving everyone else.

The Father forgives you if and only if you forgive others.

If you refuse to forgive someone, then ask yourself: Do you have the Paraclete in you?

If you have forgiven others who sinned against you, then the Father has forgiven you.

If the Father has forgiven you, then you can forgive yourself, unless, of course, you hold a higher standard than God.

No need to focus on yourself. Focus on God and others.

Admission Free, but Churches Empty. Dreams and Realities of a Pontificate on the Wane

The Church “does not have doors”, and therefore everyone can come in, but truly “everyone, everyone, everyone, without any exclusion.” This is the message on which Pope Francis insisted most during his travel to Lisbon, in the run-up to a synod that – in its “Instrumentum laboris” – puts at the top of the list of those invited to enter “the divorced and remarried, people in polygamous marriages, or LGBTQ+ Catholics.”

But meanwhile in Italy, where Francis is bishop of Rome and primate, the churches are emptying out. An in-depth survey conducted for the magazine “Il Timone” by Euromedia Research has determined that today only 58.4 percent of Italian citizens over the age of 18 identify themselves as “Catholics,” as opposed to the 37 percent who are “non-believers.” And those who go to Mass on Sundays are just 13.8 percent of the population, mostly over 45, with even lower numbers in Lombardy and Veneto, the regions that have been the historic stronghold of the Italian “Catholic world.”

Not only that. Even among “practicing” Catholics, those who go to Mass once or more a month, just one out of three recognizes in the Eucharist “the real body of Christ,” while the others reduce it to a vague “symbol” or a “commemoration of the bread of the last supper.” And also just one in three are those who go to confession at least once a year, still convinced that it is a sacrament for the “remission of sins.” It comes as no surprise that the Benedictine theologian Elmar Salmann should have said in a June 14 interview with “L’Osservatore Romano” that even more concerning for him than the number of the faithful is the decline of sacramental practice, which “is about to go under.”

A decline that is accompanied by a conspicuous yielding to the “spirit of the time” in the fields of doctrine and morality. 43.8 percent of practicing Catholics consider abortion a right, 41.6 percent believe it is right to allow homosexual marriages, 61.8 percent deny that divorce is a sin, 71.6 percent approve contraception. A certain resistance is seen only with regard to the surrogate womb, with two thirds of the practicing opposed.

But if this is the reality of the facts, what could be the effect of the persistent invitation to welcome into the Church “everyone, everyone, everyone,” that is, even none other than “the divorced and remarried, people in polygamous marriages, or LGBTQ+ Catholics,” who according to what the Church has always taught “cannot receive all the sacraments?”

This is the question that Anita Hirschbeck, of the “Katholische Nachrichten-Agentur,” posed to the pope at the press conference on the flight back from Lisbon on August 6.

Francis replied that yes, everyone must be welcomed into the Church, “ugly and beautiful, good and bad,” including homosexuals. But “ministeriality in the Church is another thing, which is the way of moving the flock forward, and one of the important things is, in ministeriality, accompanying people step by step on their way of maturation… The Church is mother, she receives everyone, and each one makes his way within the Church.”

Thus stated, this response from the pope hits the brakes on the course of the “synodal way” of Germany, but not of it alone, toward a revolution in the Church’s doctrine on sexuality.

And it is an answer entirely in line, instead, with what is written in the much more solid “Pastoral letter on human sexuality” published by the bishops of Scandinavia last Lent: “It may happen that circumstances make a Catholic unable, for a time, to receive the sacraments. He or she does not therefore cease to be a member of the Church. Experience of internal exile embraced in faith can lead to a deeper sense of belonging.”

But it should be noted that Francis does not always speak and act consistently on these issues.

The blessing of same-sex couples, for example, although prohibited – with the pope’s written agreement – by the dicastery for the doctrine of the faith headed by Cardinal Luis Francisco Ladaria Ferrer, has in fact been approved by Francis himself on several occasions.

And now that Ladaria will be succeeded by Victor Manuel Fernández, the controversial Argentine theologian favored by Jorge Mario Bergoglio, it can be taken as assured that the time of the guardians of doctrine “who point and condemn” is over, replaced with a new, irenic program of “harmonious growth” between “differing currents of thought in philosophy, theology, and pastoral practice,” which “will preserve Christian doctrine more effectively than any control mechanism,” as stated in the unusual letter from the pope that accompanied the appointment of the new prefect.

Some Catholics Are Not Allowed To Adopt Children In Massachusetts

This is another one of those MSN articles where they did not allow me to respond, probably because my response would oppose their backwards views. But this decision out of Massachusetts is downright hostile to religious heterosexual couples. Massachusetts Dept. of Children and Families denied a Catholic couple the right to adopt a child due to their so called "extreme" religious views. We've got a problem, Houston! If one has ever read the book by Monsignor Robert Hugh Benson "Lord of the World", he writes about how the secular world tries to crush Christianity and raise up an equivalent secular humanistic society. This is why I fight against stuff like this Massachusetts debacle. The only way is through Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the Truth, the Way, and the Life.

Bank records document foreign payments to Hunter Biden and associates

House investigators have released bank records that document how the Biden family and associates collected millions of dollars from Russian, Kazakh and Ukrainian oligarchs while Joseph R. Biden was serving as vice president.

The bank records, obtained by the House Oversight and Accountability Committee and provided to The Washington Times, confirm testimony from two IRS whistleblowers and Biden associate Devon Archer that millions of dollars flowed to Hunter Biden around the time his father met with the oligarchs as vice president.

In total, the oversight committee has identified more than $20 million paid to Hunter Biden and his business associates. The money was distributed to 10 Biden family members, including President Biden’s grandchildren.

January 6 Committee Destroyed Records, Videos; Trump’s Rights Violated

Aug 9, 2023

The January 6 Committee defied a demand last year by incoming Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) that it preserve all of its records, evidence, and transcripts, and has destroyed much of what it collected over more than a year of investigation.

The House select committee that investigated the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021 failed to adequately preserve documents, data and video depositions – including communications it had with the Biden White House that are still missing – according to the Republican lawmaker overseeing the GOP investigation into the committee’s work.

The now-disbanded “J6” committee, which was run by Democrats and included only two GOP members, has also failed to provide any evidence that it looked into Capitol Hill security failures on the day of the riot, Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight for the Committee on House Administration, told Fox News Digital.

“Nothing was indexed. There was no table of contents index. Usually when you conduct this level of investigation, you use a database system and everything is digitized, indexed. We got nothing like that. We just got raw data,” he said. “So it took us a long time going through it and one thing I started realizing is we don’t have anything much at all from the Blue Team [which was to have investigated security lapses].”

Im so bored and lonely.

So my wife started her job at Walmart on the first. We've been together nonstop for the last 10 years 24 hours a day seven days a week. Now it seems like God has broken us apart and I am barely able to see her anymore. She works 4 am to 1 pm 4 days a week and I'm just getting sick of it. True, I usually wake up at 8-9 am and only have to occupy 4-5 hours out of my day but honestly? I'm just so darn lonely everyday she has to work. I can't really watch TV because everything we watch on TV we watch together and I don't feel like watching the same shows twice in one day. Not to mention she usually doesn't get home until 1:30. So I'm basically doing nothing for 6 hours a day. And then when she comes home from work she will start dinner and we will eat and maybe spend 10-15 minutes together. Then she's asleep until we go to bed a 8:30-9:00. Its... well it's annoying, lonely, and boring. I hate her working but since she got the job through food stamps she can't quit the job ever. So, I'm stuck with this.

What do you guys advise I do with my free time? Usually when she comes home we just talk until she falls asleep. Which is ok. I just wish we had time together to read the Bible, or watch sermons on YouTube, of catching up on the shows that are clogging up our DVR. I mean, that's all we did for 10 years together and quite frankly? I miss it. I miss my wife. We don't spend virtually any time together anymore sexual or otherwise because all she's doing is sleeping her life away. I get it. She's tired and I should be happy for her finally getting a job. But, I'm not happy. I miss my wife. Even on her 3 days off I barely get to spend time with her. I mean, where's the us time. Her life can't just be work most of the day and then sleep. Can it?

GOP: We know Joe Biden is corrupt even if there is no evidence of it!

MSCBC: GOP reconsiders whether anti-Biden evidence actually matters

For months, congressional Republicans and their allies have gone to great lengths to manufacture a scandal that doesn’t appear to exist. To hear these GOP voices tell it, President Joe Biden was not only involved in his son’s business schemes, the Democrat also accepted alleged “bribes,” trading policies for cash.

Of course, the more Republicans try to substantiate these allegations with facts, the more they fail spectacularly. Indeed, it happened again yesterday, as GOP officials on the House Oversight Committee released documents showing that members of Biden’s family, and “associates” who know members of the president’s family, received money from foreign sources — a rather boring observation — while failing once again to make any meaningful connections to the president himself.

In his latest underwhelming release, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer explicitly said Republicans simply don’t feel the need to “show payments directly to the President to show corruption.” Rep. Byron Donalds of Florida, another Republican member of the panel, soon after appeared on Fox News and pushed a similar line, suggesting the party’s case against the incumbent president would still have merit, even if Biden didn’t “take a dime.”

A Washington Post analysis added, “[Comer’s] team tried to dig up this bribe that they have convinced their allies exists, without luck. So he issues a news release about the ‘Biden family’ and suggests that bribery claims don’t need actual proof and prepares for his next Sean Hannity interview.”

I turn 21 today and I’m very very scared about alcohol.

Hey everyone!

I’m so happy to post again,I haven’t posted recently because I haven’t had any anxiety!, praise the Lord!,.

As the title says I turn 21 today, today is my birthday, and needless to say because of the title im very scared about alcohol.I my entire youthood life have heard and read the horror stories about alcohol and it’s destructive tendencies.Contrary to the mindset I had 3 years ago when I couldn’t wait to drink, now 3 years later,I have a mindset completely different,I’ve made the heart choice to avoid alcohol entirely, and only drink wine and alcohol free beer.I know the two contain alcohol, one minimal amounts and the other is stated in the Bible.

I’ve read stories of men being raging alcoholics and abusing their wives,I’ve heard and read stories of people drinking and diving and killing people,I’ve heard stories of the horrible things it does to the mind and body.

I’m not just worried,I’m scared of losing control and becoming addicted to it.Ive never been one to fear an object, but I fear alcohol dreadfully.
Could anyone please offer some advice on this matter?

'America First' Florida Congressional Candidate Anthony Sabatini Plagiarized his College Honors Thesis

Busted: Florida Republican 'wildly plagiarized' and 'entirely made up' portions of his honors thesis

The Daily Beast’s review of the paper found that Sabatini lifted an astonishing amount of content verbatim from other sources. Worse, Sabatini — who double-majored in history and philosophy before being admitted to law school, also at the University of Florida — frequently pulls his passages from Wikipedia, and presents them without the required quotation marks or any clear attribution whatsoever.

“Many of the references to his secondary sources seem largely fabricated, right down to the page numbers,” he said.

But at least he wants to own the libs and "gut the Department of Justice like a fish", so he's got that going for him in the election.

OT YHWH = NT Father?

Often it is. The LORD (YHWH) as the father is mentioned many times in the Old Testament.

Deuteronomy 14:
1a You are the children of the LORD your God.

NIV Deuteronomy 32:
6 Is this the way you repay the LORD, you foolish and unwise people? Is he not your Father, your Creator, who made you and formed you?

Psalm 103:
13 As a father has compassion on his children,
so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him.

Isaiah 63:
16 “But you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us or Israel acknowledge us; you, LORD, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is your name.”
The above OT verses depict YHWH as a father.

Now, Isaiah 42:
8a I am the LORD, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another.

But then, Jesus claimed to have this glory before the world existed in John 17:
5 And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

The above two verses can be harmonized by Jesus' proclamation in John 10:
30 I and the Father are one.

These are strong indications that OT LORD (YHWH) is the NT Father.

Utah Man who threatened Biden (and others) shot dead as FBI attempt to serve arrest warrant

A man who posted violent threats against President Joe Biden and other officials online was shot dead during an FBI raid on Wednesday.
Agents were attempting to serve an arrest warrant on Craig Robertson at his home in Utah, just hours ahead of a planned visit to the state by Mr Biden.

The [threatening] messages continued as late as Tuesday, when he posted: "Perhaps Utah will become famous this week as the place a sniper took out Biden the Marxist."

A criminal complaint outlined messages that Robertson made on Facebook including pictures of guns and threats to kill Mr Biden and Alvin Bragg [and Merrick Garland and Letitia James...]

[After the threat to Bragg months ago] FBI agents then visited the suspect, who told them that the post was a "dream" and ended the conversation by saying: "We're done here! Don't return without a warrant!"

Christian Ghost Writer

Is it ethical for a Christian pastor to use a ghost writer who writes 75+% of a book? (The pastor pays the man for his efforts, but does not acknowledge him in the book and the reader is left to think these are all the words of the pastor himself.

There has been a LOT of talk through the years about a very prominent pastor who many have claimed uses a ghost writer. That doesn't sit well with me - even if he pays the man.

The Sabbath Is More Than Just Saturday

I realize that I have missed the point of the Sabbath all these years by thinking it was a special day that I kept that helped ensure my salvation. As it turns out, I now understand that “keeping the Sabbath” was a very subjective exercise with myself, of course, being the correct judge of how it should be kept and thus giving myself a gold star on my metaphorical salvation chart.

Now before I go on don't think that I've abandoned keeping the day it's way too wonderful for that after all, it is made for us by God. But the Sabbath is only a shadow of things to come and deeper things that we can lay hold of now. The real Sabbath is resting in the grace of Jesus Christ who took all of my sins upon himself and died in my place.

There will be people who have religiously kept the day and yet still in the end will be lost and there are many who will have never kept the day and yet partook of the rest in Jesus Christ God affords us and will be saved. The Sabbath, along with the rest of the law has no power to save me for salvation is a gift of God to me, it is not of myself lest I should boast. When I understood what the real Sabbath was all about it absolutely blew open the deeper meanings in the scripture concerning salvation and what God did in order to secure it for me. Consider the following verse.

Isaiah 58:13-14 New Century Version (NCV)
“You must obey God's law about the Sabbath and not do what pleases yourselves on that holy day. You should call the Sabbath a joyful day and honor it as the LORD's holy day. You should honor it by not doing whatever you please nor saying whatever you please on that day.

In the past, I read this and decided how I should not please myself and what I could and could not do on Saturdays and submitted it to God as my own righteousness which deserves Salvation. I wore my morals like a thorny crown. But now I look at it and understand that I have a choice between two gods, the first being self which can be very pious if it serves its purposes or I can submit to Jesus Christ and God the Father and admit my total inability to find any righteous thing within my flesh. In my hand no price I bring, simply to thy cross I cling.

The first is to do my own pleasure but the second is to call God's salvation joyful, holy, and the very thing I desire more than anything else. You see, I realize that not only will I go to heaven doing whatever I want, but that will be absolutely necessary for anyone desiring to be there. This is because the Lord enters a person's heart and changes what they want. If one is keeping the Sabbath but really doesn't want to there is no righteousness in that. We're only as righteous as Jesus Christ makes us and as we submit to Him. In us, there is no good thing.

So, the Sabbath represents our Salvation in Jesus Christ, our assurance of his righteousness, our belief that we now have no condemnation and that he is able to secure that which he is purchased with his blood. Oh, what blessed Bliss is ours if we accept it by faith and enter into his rest.

Judiciary Committee Uncovers Multiple FBI Field Offices Coordinated to Prepare Anti-Catholic Memo

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government Chairman Mike Johnson (R-LA) just sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray revealing that the FBI Richmond Field Office coordinated with multiple FBI field offices across the country to produce the memo targeting traditional Catholics as potential domestic terrorists. This startling revelation contradicts Director Wray’s July 12, 2023, testimony before the Committee, when he stated the FBI’s actions were limited to “a single field office.”
Top Biden administration officials need to be charged and held accountable.

Queen of Heaven?

It has been suggested that if we honor Mary as Queen of Heaven that we are actually worshiping a demonic entity known as the queen of heaven, as previously worshipped by some in the Old Testament.
I agree that the activity described in Jeremiah 44 is an abomination. Offering sacrifices, pouring out drink offerings and offering cakes to worship her. The wives of the men of Judah did this and it was clear that Jeremiah told them that they were sacrificing to other gods. The good that they thought they received from the queen of heaven was actually left over good will from God Himself when they sacrificed in Jerusalem.
Jeremiah prophesied that all men of Judah in Egypt will die, and a remnant may escape back to Jerusalem.
The queen of heaven described here is clearly another god(goddess), and we know that all gods that are not God are demons.
What we know about demons is that they hate God with a jealous hatred and in that hatred, they like to imitate the One True God. As an example demonic possession imitates the incarnation. They do this from jealousy and Satan even says in his arrogance, “I will be like the Most High”
Catholics do not worship Mary, we honor her as the mother of God, and proclaim her example of humility for all to follow when she says, behold the handmaid of the Lord, be it done unto me according to thy word. That is not worship, but the hyperdulia that she is due. Even our Lord says to enter heaven, we must be as little children, and all little children have a mother. We are not feral and not orphans.
A mother is not a replacement but confirms the words of the father as Mary does when she tells us, “do whatever He tells you.”
The Queen of Heaven that we honor is not a demon but is at the right hand of Jesus as described in Psalm 45 (44 in Douay Rheims)

7- Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a sceptre of uprightness [Psalms 44:7] 8 Thou hast loved justice, and hated iniquity: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. 9 Myrrh and stacte and cassia perfume thy garments, from the ivory houses: out of which 10 The daughters of kings have delighted thee in thy glory. The queen stood on thy right hand, in gilded clothing; surrounded with variety.

11 Hearken, O daughter, and see, and incline thy ear: and forget thy people and thy father's house. 12 And the king shall greatly desire thy beauty; for he is the Lord thy God, and him they shall adore. 13 And the daughters of Tyre with gifts, yea, all the rich among the people, shall entreat thy countenance. 14 All the glory of the king's daughter is within in golden borders, 15 Clothed round about with varieties. After her shall virgins be brought to the king: her neighbours shall be brought to thee.

16 They shall be brought with gladness and rejoicing: they shall be brought into the temple of the king. 17 Instead of thy fathers, sons are born to thee: thou shalt make them princes over all the earth. 18 They shall remember thy name throughout all generations. Therefore shall people praise thee for ever; yea, for ever and ever.

This clearly describes Jesus on His throne and at His right hand stands the queen in gold of Ophir.
After her Virgins shall be brought to the king (this describes Catholic Nuns)
The King, God, we shall adore, but we will entreat the queen’s countenance, and she will be praised forever and ever and remember her name thorough out all generations.
This is exactly what Catholics do for Mary as perfectly described in the word of God, not the poor imitation demonic worship of a fake queen
Praise is not worship, but recognition of the great beauty that God has given her.
To those that wish to accuse the Catholic Church of idolatry, I only ask you to seriously think about what you are saying. I know it is tempting to try and score a quick jab against a religion you believe is false. Consider what the scribes and Pharisees said to Jesus. “It is by Beelzebub that he casts out demons” Jesus warned them to not blaspheme the Holy Spirit.
Jesus also warns Christians that if you say to your brother, thou fool, you are worthy of hell fire
It’s better not to do it

Anton Lazzaro, GOP donor, sentenced to 21 years in prison for sex trafficking underage girls

"Mr. Lazzaro targeted, manipulated, and sexually exploited young and vulnerable girls for his own gain without regard for their age or safety," said Special Agent in Charge Alvin M. Winston Sr. "Today's sentencing sends a strong message that those who commit such heinous crimes will be held accountable. The FBI prioritizes crimes of victimization and will leave no stone unturned to protect the vulnerable and bring every perpetrator to justice."
He donated to Minnesota Republicans.

Identity of a man

Genesis 1:27 'So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.'

God created everything, thus everything belongs to Him. Humanity as His image were made to reflect His glory back to Him by worshipping Him. But having refused to do so, we have become slaves to sins, unable to escape it's power. God's plan has been to redeem humanity, calling us back to His true worship in a covenant relationship with Him.

We were created to love God, to obey and serve Him, to worship and praise Him. It is who we are, an image of glorious, living God.
But because of our rebellion, sin entered into the world, and shattered this image. But God in His love and mercy sent His Son to call us back to what He made us. And whoever believes, will be restored in the image of God.

Many people believe they are who they are, because God created them that way. For example gay people say they are gay because God created them that way. But that is not true. It is the desire of their hearts. And this is the case for every sinner. But the desires of our hearts do not define who we are. I know there are Christians who believe that as long as we do not act upon our sinful desires, we are not guilty of sin. But that is not true. Even the pharisees thought of this, but Jesus teaches on the sermon on the mount that if we desire to sin, even when we do not act upon it, we are guilty of sin. The problem is our sinful hearts. Our sinful hearts are the reason we are tempted to sin, thus most of the time when we are tempted, it is because we tempt ourselves. Joel 2:13 and rend your hearts and not your garments.” We must both repent of sin and the desire to sin.

If we identify as anything other than image bearers of God, it is idolatry, and we must repent of it. If you identify as a homosexual or transgender, that is not who you are. It is your sinful desires, but they do not make you who you are. Non-Christian religions are also idolatry. For example a person is not a Muslim - it does describe religious commitment, but not ontological reality. It is a false identity, The Gospel proclaims to the devotee of Islam that 'Muslim' is not what he really is. The gospel proclaims to western liberal that 'free' is not who he really is. And the gospel proclaims to the member of gay community that 'gay' is not who he really is. All are images of the triune God. Terribly spoiled images because of our sin, and called by God in His grace to become true, redeemed images of God, the God-man Jesus Christ.

Christians must therefore look at everyone as God's creation, created in His image, and proclaim the good news of Gospel to every non-Christian.
