Apparently, just another drive by nonsense post.Did he read it? Never happened
Just another mentally ill Liberal who thinks killing people is the solution.
Because a memorial service is intended to honor the life of the fallen, not rallying the troops for a culture war.Really? Why not?
No, he doesn’t actually say it, he implies it.Jimmy Kimmel Did Not Say Exactly What You Think He Said
“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”
Kimmel doesn’t actually say “this kid” was “one of them.” You could read it a different way: Robinson wasn’t MAGA, and therefore MAGA is out there trying to characterize him as something else. Or even: Who knows if Robinson was or wasn’t MAGA, either way MAGA is trying to score points based on his politics.
Kimmel himself would seem to be of this opinion. In Hollywood Reporter‘s latest story detailing how the suspension went down behind the scenes, Kimmel is said to have been “defending what he said [as] being grossly mischaracterized by a certain group of people.”
Did he read it? Never happenedYou obviously have not read the OP article. Otherwise you would have known how wrong you are.
. This extraordinary drop-off is too recent to allow for any definitive explanations—and the number of terror incidents often fluctuates over short periods—but Trump’s reelection could be a key factor. His victory deflated election conspiracies that had once motivated many extremists.
He said the shooter was MAGA.
If Christians could agree on what that would mean and still not make non Christians feel second class. Of course it would be unconstitutional.I wouldn't mind it if the whole country were Christian.
As I said, it encouraged me to be a better listener. That is counter cultural and really quite a challenge since we have been groomed to proclaim our opinions as facts, hear only what we want to hear, double down and think the worst of those who do not share our views and beliefs.I guess we have veered off topic a little into politics. Though I do not mind talking about politics, the original question was, has the Charlie Kirk death encouraged you to be more outspoken?
Really? Why not?Although I agree with his statements, that was neither the time or the place for such comments.
To what are you referring? And we had another rightist commit murder against several police officers.
That is the best response I have heard from you in many a moons. And, I totally agree with you. There are people who align with either side of the political spectrum and think that killing someone is the answer to solving our differences. It just escalates them. These killers do not represent those of either party. They are extremely misguided individuals who need professional psychological help to bring there thinking down many notches.I (and we on the left) don’t own the violent actions of whatever random nut decides to take the law into their own hands.
Speaking of something not being appropriate, that post tops the listYour statement is far far worse than cynical. I pray you never experience the pain and loss of having a spouse murdered.
people say lots of stuff. The pastor said he could see into the spirit
Sadly, throughout my entire life, it seems that a very large majority of believers think that the time to be quiet is ongoing. They will only speak up inside the church.
Yes,! That’s what he did. He implied that Kirk’s assassin was one of the MAGA faithfulAs anything other than a MAGA.
The furthest that wording takes us is that he was implying that the shooter was MAGA.
I've always had some interest in the matter because as children my parents read the entire bible chapters at a time at the dinner table every night. Then at age 7 a spirit tells me there is a generational curse on my grandparents family. But i had no concept come to mind at all, to pray against it until 17 years later. Listening to Russ Dizdar on Coast to Coast Am in my teenage years was interesting, he seemed legit to me.If this thread is any indication there are some within the flock who enjoy discussing demons, exorcists and the like. The lack of similar discourse within the church doesn’t mean they’re ignorant or the members are oblivious. Oftentimes it’s a reflection of maturity and conversations are had as needed. They don’t sit around discussing the devil or spiritual battles as a norm.

Quiet witness without proclamation will never be enough on its own, because faith comes by hearing the Word
