The three people shot at the Texas field office are ICE detainees, an ICE spokesperson told NBC News. No ICE officers were hurt.

FBI investigating shooting as "act of targeted violence"​

The deadly shooting at an ICE facility near downtown Dallas is believed to be a targeted incident, according to the head of the FBI field office in Dallas.

“I can confirm at this time that the FBI is investigating this incident as an act of targeted violence,” said Special Agent in Charge Joe Rothrock.

“Early evidence that we’ve seen from rounds that were found near the suspected shooter contain messages that are anti-ICE in nature,” Rothrock added.

Charlie Kirk was killed and up to now we've seen no riots in the streets over it. We've seen no conservative burning buildings or shooting up gender clinics or some such. Kimmel gets suspended and an ABC station gets shot up. Kirk was killed by a leftist, the station attacked by a leftist, this is the third(?) ICE facility attacked by a leftist. Children in schools have been killed by leftists. So yes, i will bite. Leftists have gotten more violent. Another example.

Perhaps its time for the good left to finally recognize that there is too much rhetoric and instead of defending it or making excuses just start with, there is no excuse for this. But I honestly dont expect that to happen.

That’s because Kirk wasn’t killed under the color of the law and the police didn’t drag their feet in finding the killer.

Riots are typically sparked by some official malfeasance, not a random one-off. Just like how your side handled what they perceived to be official malfeasance in the 2020 election or Cliven Bundy’s cattle seizure.
