The USA's 250th birthday to be celebrated with Octagon UFC/MMA fight, possibly on the White House South Lawn

People say Oh but the action always stops and starts etc! But thats whats good about it. You know when to look - and when you can do other important things like chat for second, eat, look at you phone, etc. You know when youre needed.

Compare it to the other football (soccer) where you have to be glued to it the whole time so you dont miss the unlikely event that something actually happens.

Revelation 12 walk through

Wow! Your dogmatism has taken a nasty turn! Since when does a disagreement over a peripheral belief mean that someone can only enter Heaven through fire?
This reply in itself; is a nasty accusation.
The 'rapture' and the future of the Christian peoples, is not peripheral.

I quoted Paul, who said that people who build their doctrines on foundations other than Biblical truths, will not lose their Salvation, but will only be redeemed 'by passing through fire'.
Which I see as the 'fire' of testing and tribulations. Something for whoever is wrong and who teaches that error, needs to carefully consider. James 3:1

Another issue, which shows your confusion and bias, is; 'people entering heaven'. No one goes to heaven; - the Kingdom will be on earth and after the thousand year reign of King Jesus, God will be with His people in the new Jerusalem.

People hitting each other while rolling on the ground for the entertainment of their betters sounds like the perfect celebration of the occassion.

Let's hope the ring will be a permanent installation. There will be need for it in the future.

Trump dispenses with trials, orders military strike on alleged Venezuelan drug-trafficking boat

One has to wonder which other groups of people are prone to being denight their rights for the good of the many. It was and is being tried with immigrants, who are shipped off to foreign countries without due process.

Perhaps people from the media? After all, they are, to quote Trump, "the enemy of the people".

Revelation 12 walk through

Who in your Beulah scenario is going to be the king of Beulah ?
Both Hosea 1:11 and Jeremiah 30:21, say the Lords people will elect a leader for themselves.
He/she, is mentioned in Daniel 11:35
it is one nation, not two nations of north and south any longer.
It is glaringly obvious that the current State of Israel, in a small part of the Holy Land, represents Judah only; NOT the other 10 tribes.
It is a serious misunderstanding of scripture, to place their rejoining in the past. Jeremiah 50:4-5 Note how Jeremiah 50:6-7 says the Lords 'sheep' have forgotten their place of origin and they have been 'devoured' - assimilated by their enemies. NOT annihilated!

I believe that ALL who ever lived will be in God’s Kingdom

There are enemies, adversaries and adverse powers unseen presented in great detail in scripture

Where things get interesting is understanding these operations in our own sorry hides, necessitating taking every thought captive

Lying hypocrisy merely shows captivity

Ignorance seems to be bliss

who exactly are these ignorant lying hypocrites you constantly refer to ... asking because the way in which you say these things i don't know if you are aiming this at me ...

as for myself i no longer judge His firstborn ....

On not paying God ill-judged "metaphysical compliments"

I don't think we can ever seperate ourselves from Gods creation and whatever it is that flows from that for which we are part of. You can't seperate it into objective facts and subjective experiences and beliefs. Its just experiences and perceptions we humans have that comes nowhere near fully encapsulating the whole.

Thats why its so easy to conflate certain aspects or ontologies we as humans can percieve as being the whole reality.

One thing I believe is that if God is the God of all we experience and percieve is that though incomprehensible Gods DNA or imprint whatever you want to call it goes all the way down to the micro level and we should not be surprised that we find something beyond the material ontologies which are often claimed as the only fundemental reality.

But being able to come up with knockdown evidence for this will never happen. Thats why I think to fully understand reality requires at least an openness to the spiritual and transcedent.

The bible says some look but do not see this evidence. So its obvious not in the realm of empiricle science.

While I agree at the same time any particular idea falls short even alternative transcedent ontologies as they are only grasping at Gods aspect of reality that is incomprehensibe.

While at the same time I don't dismiss alternative spiritual ideas out of hand because they do show that humans are natural theists in one way or another. Its just a matter of which and on that I think this is where it ventures into faith. Though I think we can destinguish some spiritual aspects that align with rationality while others don't.

Even the basic idea that there can be many fundemental ontologies or true beliefs at the same time. The very nature of God points to one fundemental ontology and truth. Or that some beliefs actually breach their own status in defying commonsense morals or reality.

General update for those who have prayed for me and supported me:

I have a new job with more hours and more money in a different city. My wife’s going to be making less money - the number of Russians in our town is shrinking, as they either move onto Western Europe or return to Russia, but I’ll be making more than before. A huge part of the question is, will my body be able to hold up under the increased workload at my age? Our younger daughter will be attending the new school I work at; the old school was a disaster, with only a few kids, her age who formed a clique and shut her out, leading to the catastrophe this last spring. That’ll suck some of my payback (€350-400), but at least we have an option for her.

I’m trying to hold on to my other online students, both so as not to have all my eggs in one basket, and to be able to make online payments both here and in Russia. but it’s liable to have me working full-time six days a week.

We still don’t have a path back to Russia, and my family wants to live there, I’m not at all sure that I do anymore, though I do have a few friends there. It seems like the sense of betrayal and break up of what had been a vibrant parish life is something I’d rather not deal with. And there’s the issue of ongoing sanctions, blocking me from taking my Russian registered car back.

I survived the summer, I’m still alone for another week or so, it’s been almost 3 months of complete loneliness and isolation. My family is returning soon. The new school HAS to work out for my daughter; if it doesn’t, we are basically agreeing that the women folk will return to Russia after the new year, leaving me alone again.

I have a 45-50 minute commute, I’m afraid of things like falling asleep at the wheel. I have trouble sleeping at night, and generally wake up in the middle of the night for 2 to 3 hours, and then desperately desire a nap in the afternoon, something I’m mostly not going to be able to get.

However, so far the new school is very welcoming and I’ve quickly become very popular among the middle school kids grades five, six, and seven that I’m teaching. Alas, I have a couple of children that look like girls that everyone affirms are boys, the influence of the Russian leftist community that fled Russia. Most of the kids are Russian, several Ukrainians, one local Montenegrin boy, and a girl from Turkey. I have to help them all develop academic skills, including things like translating, so I have to keep working on my Serbian and Turkish.

So we hope that things will be OK with cash here, my main problem is going to be getting money to convert into euros to send to my children in Germany. i’m going to try to squeeze in a couple of adult students I worked with this summer, but it won’t be enough. But at the moment, for now, we have enough to get by. Continued prayers appreciated, living in exile is no fun, and I can’t really recommend it.

Thank you all very much for your prayers and help!

Newsome pushed back against Democracy to achieve his political goals

I hear you. I do ask a lot!

Project 2025 perverts the law to prosecute and prevent democratic rights

...Rather than using Section 241 as intended to protect Americans from conspiracies to undermine their voting rights, Project 2025 sets forth detailed recommendations on how the Justice Department should use the law to prosecute individuals who protect those rights. As an example, the plan suggests prosecuting the Pennsylvania secretary of state for a practice used in the 2020 election: offering provisional ballots to voters whose mail ballots were rejected due to slight errors on their mail ballot envelopes....
...Second, Project 2025’s argument is especially insidious because it implies that the federal government should use federal criminal law to police a state official’s compliance with state law. By no means is it appropriate for the Justice Department — a federal law enforcement agency — to determine whether any state official has properly exercised their authority of state law. It is even more inappropriate for a federal court to convict a state election official of a federal crime for allegedly misapplying state law. This outcome would not only violate both common sense and basic principles of federalism but also be at odds with recent Supreme Court precedent. Just last year, the Court in Moore v. Harper rejected arguments that the U.S. Constitution overrides state constitutional constraints on state law when it comes to regulating elections. In this way, Project 2025 attempts to accomplish what Moore did not: allowing federal officials to decide the meaning of state election law.

Project 2025 invites politically motivated prosecutions.

etc.

Once again, people seem oddly allergic to actually offering clear citations for their claims. In regards to the legal claims it makes, I don't know enough about the specific laws to say whether the source is right or not (though I have to say it is a bit of an odd thing for the link to appear to criticize Project 2025 for allegedly going against a Supreme Court precedent when said precedent was only decided after Project 2025's Mandate for Leadership was released). But even assuming the legal claims in the source are accurate, it still looks to me like most of this is just policy disagreement.

Schedule F

Remember - Project 2025 is not just the PDF - it's a workforce ready to go!

The Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 is a road map for how a new far-right presidential administration can take over the country. The project contains four components: a 920-page book with far-right policy proposals, a personnel database of loyalists ready to replace tens of thousands of civil servants, a private online training center, and an unpublished plan for the first 180 days of a new administration.

We see here again broad claims, but without saying where these things are (certainly I spotted various blatant falsehoods on your linked page, such as its absurd claim that Project 2025 wanted "a ban on in vitro fertilization" despite not mentioning in vitro fertilization once in the document).

One of my main concerns with Project 2025 itself is the degree to which they want to 'purge' democrats from public service. What is that, other than an authoritarian play? It's not just the changing of the guard in the heads of the agency that will enact policies, but the fear for career that restricts free speech within these departments. Anyone can be fired at any moment for having a thought! And this is what we have seen happening throughout America's civil service.

Experts argue Schedule F would create chaos in the civil service, which was overhauled during President Jimmy Carter’s administration in an attempt to ensure a professional workforce and end political bias dating from 19th century patronage.
As it now stands, just 4,000 members of the federal workforce are considered political appointees who typically change with each administration. But Schedule F could put tens of thousands of career professional jobs at risk.
“We have a democracy that is at risk of suicide. Schedule F is just one more bullet in the gun,” Guy said.
The ideas contained in Heritage’s coffee table-ready book are both ambitious and parochial, a mix of longstanding conservative policies and stark, head-turning proposals that gained prominence in the Trump era.
There’s a “top to bottom overhaul” of the Department of Justice, particularly curbing its independence and ending FBI efforts to combat the spread of misinformation.

The issue various people--including, obviously, Project 2025's authors--have with the administrative state as it is generally called, is the degree to which it is viewed as politically unaccountable. As Project 2025 itself asserts (page 7):

The term Administrative State refers to the policymaking work done by the bureaucracies of all the federal government’s departments, agencies, and millions of employees. Under Article I of the Constitution, “All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and a House of Representatives.” That is, federal law is enacted only by elected legislators in both houses of Congress.

This exclusive authority was part of the Framers’ doctrine of “separated powers.” They not only split the federal government’s legislative, executive, and judicial powers into different branches. They also gave each branch checks over the others. Under our Constitution, the legislative branch—Congress—is far and away the most powerful and, correspondingly, the most accountable to the people.

In recent decades, members of the House and Senate discovered that if they give away that power to the Article II branch of government, they can also deny responsibility for its actions. So today in Washington, most policy is no longer set by Congress at all, but by the Administrative State. Given the choice between being powerful but vulnerable or irrelevant but famous, most Members of Congress have chosen the latter.

Congress passes intentionally vague laws that delegate decision-making over a given issue to a federal agency. That agency’s bureaucrats—not just unelected but seemingly un-fireable—then leap at the chance to fill the vacuum created by Congress’s preening cowardice. The federal government is growing larger and less constitutionally accountable—even to the President—every year.

I find little to disagree with here. They're totally right: The current situation does involve a whole lot of unelected bureaucrats (a term overused, but still apropos) who aren't actually accountable to apparently anyone and get to stay in their positions and thwart changes of people who were actually elected by the people. Democrats have less trouble dealing with this because these unelected bureaucrats tend to favor them so it's only to their benefit to prevent political accountability to the administrative state. Thus, the desire to put things more directly under the President is so that the people in charge end up being affected more by elections, giving them political accountability. If the public doesn't like the President, they can replace them. If the public doesn't like people in congress, they can replace them. If the public doesn't like the people in the various three-letter administrations... they're often up a creek. This isn't something like the judiciary where political insulation makes sense (hence why I dislike the practice of some states of electing their supreme court). This is where actual policy making happens, and even if the heads are replaced, lower level bureaucrats are not necessarily and can cause problems for the heads. I suppose this would be considered a great thing in instances where one doesn't like what the heads are doing, but it seems conceptually problematic to me.

Regardless, the overall stated goal of its attempts to reduce the administrative state is, as stated on page 3, "Dismantle the administrative state and return self-governance to the American people." I am of course not without some concerns or disagreements in some of its methods, but in concept, and at least partially in its description on how to execute it, I actually find much of what I have read to commend, though it would be preferable to me if it were a different Republican than Trump to actually try to do it (not that I think Trump is deliberately trying to follow its policy recommendations anyway; it just happens to have some crossover with what he wants to do anyway).

In regards to Schedule F. In concept I think there are some good things about it. In practice we run into the issue of Trump's haphazard execution causing various problems. But that is less the fault of Project 2025 and more the fault of Trump.

In fact, this is a recurring thing I've noticed. You seem to take policy recommendations of Project 2025, then complain about Trump in particular. Project 2025's Mandate for Leadership was not written specifically for Trump (who again there is little reason to think cares much at all about it); the Heritage Foundation publishes these things periodically, and it was published before we even knew who the Republican candidate would be (hence why it repeatedly refers to "the next conservative President"), and no doubt was written a decent amount of time before its publication, putting it even further back. Sure, odds looked to be in Trump's favor even back then, but it wasn't like with the Democrats where everyone knew Joe Biden would win the primary (which he did, only to then drop out of the race altogether, ironically). Trump isn't following Project 2025; he's just doing the things he wants to do that often lines up with its ideas, although generally done in a more haphazard, sloppy, and problematic manner. As noted here, specifically on the issue of the handling of illegal immigration:

What Project 2025 was gunning for was more or less what I hoped to see. They talked a bunch about my favorite silver bullet: mandatory, universal E-Verify! They listed a bunch of reforms they hoped to see passed by Congress, the entity that ought to set our immigration policy! They never once mentioned revoking the green cards of legal aliens for supporting Hamas! (They did recommend winding down various Temporary Protected Status visas, which IMHO makes sense.)

What Trump has done instead has a similar end result in mind, but achieved by cruel and stupid means. That he uses any weapon ready to hand to aid his cruelty and stupidity—be it a Project 2025 idea or a repurposed Biden-era precedent—doesn't make Project 2025 or Joe Biden blameworthy for it. The voters demanded large-scale deportations, and so does the law, but what Trump is delivering matches up to that demand only in the way a distorted fun-house-mirror reflection matches the person standing in front of it.

Trump calls Epstein disclosures battle ‘a Democrat hoax’

Can you provide any sources that can verify that Trump ever visited the island? Because, last I check, although Trump said he had associated with Jeffery, there is no verified evidence that he actually visited his island.
Them files get released and we might all find out?
(Like that’s ever going to happen!)

A conversation about unity.

What that comes down to is someone else besides God has to be involved in bringing about salvation. Some person has to baptise you in order for you to be saved. Some person has to consecrate bread and wine for you to eat and drink before you're saved. There must be a human intercessor involved.

If you can't find a human being to baptise you and consecrate bread and wine for you, after you've repented and belived in and put your faith in Lord Jesus for salvation, you're toast if you die before then.
Fortunately God doesn't agree with that. :)

Did Jesus go to hell during the time that he was in the grave?

"..to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built."

The was no law that governed people prior to the flood, so their fate was not determined...

He went to the pre-flood souls... That's all. He offered them a chance, or maybe even gave them a pardon.

#36 in Christian persecution, Bhutan

36Bhutan

Everyone in Bhutan is assumed to be Buddhist. Anyone who converts to Christianity is watched with suspicion, and usually there are efforts to bring them back to Buddhism.
Since there are no registered churches in Bhutan, Christians instead resort to gathering in homes. No churches are officially recognised by the state, which means that Christians who gather in these small fellowships are acting illegally, leaving them vulnerable to criminal penalties. In addition, local authorities often refuse to issue Christians with the right paperwork to file loan applications, property registration, job applications and ID card renewal.

Meet Deki

“Villagers taunted my parents. They mentally harassed them. They called Christian faith a foreign religion and began to create chaos for our family.”
Deki (name changed), a young Christian from Bhutan.

What does Open Doors do to help?

Open Doors local partners provide immediate aid to Bhutanese believers when their faith in Christ leads to various kinds of persecution. We strengthen the persecuted Church in Bhutan primarily through prayer support and other practical emergency support.

Please pray

  • Pray for believers in Bhutan who can only attend churches that exist in a legal grey area.
  • Ask that God will protect and preserve believers who have converted from Buddhism.
  • Pray that God will help Christians who can be denied citizenship and other civic rights to find their worth and citizenship in Him.

He that finds his life (SOUL) shall lose it: and he that loses his life (soul) for His sake shall find it...

Peace in Christ.

Again, we are to come out from among them….from among the man-based churches…and be separate…and not be attached (“touch not”) to the unclean….the unclean dead church body that will not believe in what they will hear Him saying via the Spirit of Truth.

2Co 6:16-18
(16) And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
(17) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean; and I will receive you,

(18) And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

This is the “holy commandment” that is delivered to us to keep. “Holy”= “to be separate” for sanctification. Do not turn away from it. Remember Lot’s wife. Don't look back.

This is the way of righteousness that we must go in. This is the way that leads to His life to be made manifest in our mortal flesh….the revealing of the Son of man to the people of the world so that they can be saved. They will then see His light shine through us.

2Pe 2:20-21 KJV
(20) For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

(21) For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

We are to “awake” from our “sleep” and arise OUT OF THE DEAD ONES (the man-based churches) and Christ shall give us light.

We can then shine His light towards the people of the outside world who are sitting in deep darkness (because the man-based churches have NO LIGHT shining in them and the glory of God does not appear over them.) We have NO LIGHT while we are sitting in the man-based churches where the glory of God does not appear.

Eph 5:14
(14) Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead (OUT of the dead ones), and Christ shall give thee light.

What does light have in communion with darkness? The man-based churches will not believe in what they will hear Him saying and will remain in darkness. We must separate from them as the light is separated from the darkness.

2Co 6:14-15
(14) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

(15) And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel (unbeliever)?

The people of the man-based churches will persecute us for believing in the Word of Truth and leaving them…but we are to follow (pursue) peace with all.

We are to pursue “holiness”…our sanctification…without which no man shall SEE THE LORD.

The people of the outside world will not see His life shine in us if we do not come out from among the man-based churches and be separate. This separateness is for our purification.

Heb 12:13-14
(13) And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

(14) Follow peace with all men, and holiness (Greek: hagiasmos = purification) , without which no man shall see the Lord:

We must not keep company (being members of) with them (with harlot churches) or we are “one body”….one flesh…with them in their mortal destruction. This is the “fornication” we must flee from.

1Co 6:15-20 KJV
(15) Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
(16) What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
(17) But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
(18) Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
(19) What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

(20) For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

This is our “sanctification”…our HOLINESS...that we abstain (hold oneself off) from “fornication.” The same Greek word for “holiness” in Hebrews 12:14 also appears here in 1st Thessalonians 4:3

“hagiasmos” - properly purification, that is, (the state) purity; concretely (by Hebraism) a purifier: - holiness, sanctification.
.
We must come out from among the man-based churches and be completely separate...for our sanctification.

1Th 4:2-4
(2) For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
(3) For this is the will of God, even your sanctification (Greek: hagiasmos) , that ye should abstain from fornication:

(4) That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;

They will persecute us when we leave them for His sake and the gospel’s….the truth of the gospel of which they will not believe in when they will hear it.

We must leave our church “family” we were once part of….but they will persecute us when we do. We must follow peace at all times….being faithful to His death by not returning evil for their evil…not returning their threatening with threatening….not reviling them when they will revile us.

Mar 10:29-30
(29) And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

(30) But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the coming age, age-lasting life.

A man’s foes shall be they of his own household…his own “church” family that he once was part of. He that loves his church family more than Him is not worthy of Him…not worthy of His life being made manifest in their mortal flesh.

Mat 10:36-39 KJV
(36) And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

(37) He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

We must follow peace with all people and follow Him out. We must not render evil for their evil when we follow Him out of the man-based churches. We must take our cross and be faithful unto His death by not returning evil for their persecutions of us.

(38) And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

He that finds his “life”..that is, SOUL…shall lose it. He that loses his soul for His sake shall find it.

(39) He that findeth his life (SOUL) shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

We shall be persecuted for leaving the man-based churches for His sake and the gospel’s.

Our SOULS shall be troubled…but we must patiently endure. Do not be fearful and “draw back” to their churches when being persecuted.
Whoever shall seek to “find his soul” by giving up and going back to their churches to avoid their persecutions, will lose it.

The fearful will “draw back” to their churches to avoid persecutions (trying to save their soul from their persecutions)…but they will draw back unto “perdition.”

Let us instead patiently endure their persecutions….losing our souls rather than try to save them by giving up and going back to their churches in order to save it from being troubled by their persecutions.

Heb 10:38-39 KJV
(38) Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

(39) But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

After we have done the will of God, we shall receive the Promise.....the promise of His presence. Our body shall reveal the Son of man to the outside world so that it can "see" the Lord through us and be saved. For after a little while (while we are being persecuted), He that IS COMING shall arrive. His life shall be made manifest in our mortal flesh...and our souls shall rejoice immensely.

Heb 10:35-37
(35) Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
(36) For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

(37) For yet a little while, and he IS COMING shall arrive, and will NOT DELAY.

For "a little while" we shall endure their persecutions which shall be the "trial of our faith". We shall endure "manifold temptations" to return evil for their evil...but we must resist by the keeping of His daily sacrifice. We must endure so that we might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

We shall then receive the completion of our faith....His arriving presence in our mortal bodies to be revealed outwardly in our mortal flesh. Then, our souls shall be "saved" as we shall no longer be troubled by the persecutions of those we had left behind.

1Pe 1:6-9 KJV
(6) Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
(7) That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
(8) Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

(9) Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

Don't think it "strange" concerning their fiery trial of persecutions of us when we leave the man-based churches. We should instead REJOICE as we are then made partakers of Christ's sufferings so that WHEN His glory SHALL BE REVEALED, we shall be glad with exceeding joy. His glory shall be revealed in our mortal bodies in the here-and-now.....after a "little while" so that we may partake of His sufferings in the persecutions of us done by the man-based churches we leave behind.

1Pe 4:12-14 KJV
(12) Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
(13) But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

(14) If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
I hope you are not saying that all churches are "man-made." Sadly, some are, and preach a social gospel, a political gospel, a prosperity gospel, anything but the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Christians in such churches should indeed come out of them.

Is belief/non-belief a morally culpable state?

The Op states ---> Please avoid theological subjects. The term God in scripture is axiomatic, meaning ---> There is a source of the energy that formed all things. So, let's just say The Source of the energy that formed all things, or better yet, The Eternal.

Speaking of NOW, Einstein's special theory of relativity proves that Light/photons from a star born billions of light years away arrives at our telescope instantaneously from when it left the star from the photon's point of view. By the way, Photons can carry information which is how we see.
I have just been back to the original post, and yes, it does say "avoid theological subjects", but even so, this is a Christian forum, so it seems an unrealistic expectation to desire posters not even to refer to God as God.

A conversation about unity.

There are actions normally required for salvation which are done in churches, such as baptism and the Eucharist,
Not required for salvation.

Jesus saves; no one and nothing else, Acts 4:12, John 1:12, John 14:6, Ephesians 2:5, 8.
A person could become a Christian but die before they can be baptised, or receive communion. They would still be saved.

Trump's Big Beautiful.....Gold Ballroom

Yes, the golden cow in the Bible. That people worshiped in the Bible.
Do you truly believe that Trump will erect a golden statue of himself in a Whitehouse ballroom for worshipping purposes? If so, the statement is pure emotional hyperbole void and any reason.

Psalms 83 begins by describing a united conspiracy against Israel. Their aim is total annihilation of the Jewish State of Israel, to occupy all the Land and to wipe out any remembrance of them. Although each of the tribal groups mentioned is a historic enemy of Israel and has fought against them on various occasions, there is no record that they ever joined in such an alliance. All of the modern nations who are descendants of the peoples mentioned in Psalms 83, are currently obsessed with an Islamic inspired determination to completely eliminate the Jewish State of Israel.
keras, if Russia is involved, it will be the Ezekiel 38-39 Gog/Magog event. Another way to know is if immediately following the event, the prince that come, the Jews will mistakenly think is their long awaited messiah.

Trump Threatens Federal Takeover of Washington After Member of DOGE Is Assaulted

Go for it.
You were the one going about punching people in the face for disrespecting soldiers. So go right ahead. Go punch Trump for doing exactly what you said he should get punched for.

Is This The New Normal?

I dont need to rely on anyone else. I, personally, was able to see and hear him with my own eyes and ears during the whole time from as early as his campaign and on through the whole four years of his term and know exactly how bad he was. By the time the debates rolled around, he had all the classic signs of late dementia.
Yet, no examples of what decisions weren't made by him... Hmm...
