TRUMP "MISSED THE DEADLINE" TO CALL OFF TX GERRYMANDERING; CALIFORNIA WILL NOW DRAW NEW, MORE “BEAUTIFUL MAPS”

A taste of Trump's own medicine.

When his supporters hear how stylistically ridiculous it sounds when used by others maybe they will have a light bulb moment about the person they follow.
This will be difficult to pass in CA.

Newsome pushed back against Democracy to achieve his political goals

What is there there to dispute. They look like numbers to me. Did you have a point that you could type out?
Sure:

MA: 36% Republican, 0 seats
CT: 42% Republican, 0 seats
ME: 46% Republican, 0 seats
NM: 46% Republican, 0 seats
NH: 48% Republican, 0 seats
RI: 42% Republican, 0 seats
VT: 32% Republican, 0 seats
HI: 38% Republican, 0 seats
DE: 42% Republican, 0 seats

Also, as to some of the blue states that were benevolent enough to give us a smidgen:

CA: 38% Republican. only 9 of 52 seats (20.9%)
IL: 44% Republican. only 3 of 17 seats (17.6%)
NY: 43% Republican. only 7 of 26 seats (26.9%)
MD: 34% Republican. only 1 of 8 seats (12.5%)
NJ: v46% Republican. only 3 of 12 seats (25%)
OR: 41% Republican. only 1 of 6 seats (16.7%)

Each is an instance where the Democrats have a marked advantage and Republicans are under represented or not represented at all. I've never heard a Republican Representative walk out of their chambers in protest over it. But, boy howdy let the Democrats loose five seats in Texas and there is a holy conflagration.

Evolution conflict and division

The eternal creator of all things is what I call God. If evolution is fact, then God must be its creator. Although I can't say whether other creatures evolved to contemplate the nature of God, human beings can and do. If there there is a meaningful difference between whether we evolved to do so or we were created to do so, I don't see it. There is a process involved whenever something is created. Understanding how nature works doesn't negate the need for a creator.

People invent false gods to this day. It's called idolatry. We didn't invent the creator of all things. If we did, we wouldn't be here to do so. A logical impossibility. Rather, we are sufficiently capable of using a word to describe the concept.

What do you consider a Biblical Church?

Thanks for the clarity of this statement. This is a set of beliefs held by a number of churches, and I think it's useful to have a name for it. "Biblical" is probably as good a name as any, as long as we all agree to use the word that way.

@Daniel Carlton , is this the definition of "Biblical" that you had in mind?

It sounded similar to my description but just worded differently.

Illegal Immigration

That it not how Democracy worked in Ancient Greece. It worked more like an Oligarchy, which is what Democracy historically leads to.

However, how is that relevant to the OP?
Yes. democracy is a system where the voters rule directly. And yes, there is often a question of who is allowed to vote.
=======
We have drifted, but I believed that I having posted clearly on the issue of illegal immigration.

Another look at the moon landing.

Neither do you.

Neither are you.
I'm not the one who's slagging them off.
I 'm not the one saying that they, and their Christian employees, are liars and hiding
They are not my fellow conspiracy theorists which BTW their video's happen to be true.
Sure they are.

AI admits that God is the answer

So it functions as your rubber duck? I can 100% get behind that.

Not exactly. It generates the code. If there's an error, I simply copy paste the error to the chat and it modifies the code and repeat if the error persists. It's a lot easier than before AI.

Ironically, I'm doing it with programming languages I never learned. I only have the equivalent of "classroom experience" with programming with only few languages, although extensive, it was enough to work with AI. I retained the concepts and logic but I have poor memory retention and AI helps with it.

By the Law Is the Knowledge of Sin

19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. (Ro 3:19–20)

These two sentences are pretty easy to understand. The first sentence says that the law shuts every person's mouth and causes them to understand they are guilty of sin before God. For these reasons, the second sentence says that God will not declare anyone righteous on the basis of their obedience to the law, and everyone understands this because the law teaches people they are sinners.

Do these verses speak the truth? Does everyone who sees/hears/knows the law understand they are sinners and that God will not declare them righteous on the basis of their obedience to the law? Yes. It is not phyiscally possible for a person to gaze into the law and go away deceived into thinking he is right with God because of his obedience to the law.

Why then, do we see so many people speaking the opposite? The most obvious plausible answer is that they know it but are supressing the truth. There may be other answers, but I can't think of any.
The son Hagar produces is a consistent pattern throughout scripture ...

This is the real danger of Progressive Christianity

I know the top four are progressive but I don’t know much about 5 and 6. I have heard that the SBC has started becoming liberal, but I don’t know what the American Baptist church is. Is that a denomination?

I do know that many independent Baptist churches have left the SBC over issues, and many remain Biblical.
Yes. The American Baptist Church is a denomination. I know it ordains women. I don’t know how it differs from theology from the southern Baptist church or other Baptist churches.

Parcels No Longer Being Shipped to USA

Boomers grew up during the time when we had to wait “four to six weeks” after sending in our “box tops” (for whatever gewgaw we’d sent away for), anyways. What’s old is new again!
How dismal.

But ever think what it was like at the end of the Weimar Republic? Seems like it would've been a great place in its heyday.

Illegal Immigration

Consider having direct electronic voting on every issue instead of having our elected making the decisions. We would be the Congress and make the laws. That is democracy.

Consider a system where the citizens could call for a national election at any time and electronically vote in a new administration. That is true democracy.

Is being single, and able to handle it, a blessing?

I know. The problem is they don't know, and this information is conveniently left out of all social media.

The scripture is also breached because women are to be helper of men.

They are also reducing the quality of their lives. To live ones life nowadays means consumption, and the more more you consume, the more unhealthy you'll become.

Yes, it was made such that you always have someone to care for. In a marriage, your focus in your wife. Single, the focus becomes on God, and everyone else.

Exactly. You're not single for the lifestyle, but what you can provide for others. For some, marriage would be a waste.

True. But you also need a good woman, and that's not what society makes.

For me, I can never find a suitable woman, unless God Himself finds her, and puts her in my path. To reach my level from whatever level the women of today are, it's impossible. If I were to marry one that is well below, I would then deny one that has waited and searched for this.

I'm know how social media is badly corrupting women but there are still many good women out there.

Ironically, something good has come out of the corrupting influence of the social media - makes it easier to see ones that are good vs the ones who had the corrupting influence of the social media.

Trump's Culture War Targets America's Museums

My reply Wing would be my explanation in reply to your post...

This whole thing is a sentiment that's rooted in over-correction.
How do you know it's over correction?
So because these themes (suggesting that it is uniquely American, and suggesting that we were the worst) are being disproportionately injected everywhere else, some folks would prefer to have a place where they're not injected at all, as a counter balance.
Not the worst--just not as good as you seem to want to pretend.
Or another way of wording it

If nine other entities are hyper-fixating on it in a very one-sided way, a tenth entity covering it from a neutral perspective is going to seem like just more "piling on" (at least from the perspective of the recipient)

Newsome pushed back against Democracy to achieve his political goals

There's nothing wrong with the numbers; it's your expectations about what minority parties should receive in a system based on 50%+1 voting.

Connecticut's boundaries haven't changed significantly in years. But as the state got bluer, Republicans shrank from a majority of districts to zero, using the same lines.

Yes - the historical approach will show if a party is just less popular than they used to be, or if any boundaries changed. Good idea

Jesus & Social Justice

Justice is to do God's will,
Which is to give every one his due.
and God's will is that life should flourish. Our scriptures are framed by two clear images of flourishing life- the garden and the city of God. Hence, when God gave the law, the Hebrews were told, do this because this means life to you. Jesus rejected your definition of justice
Jesus did not reject the definition of justice, he required more than simply justice, he required love and mercy.
And the abundant life he brought is not physical, it is eternal spiritual life in relationship with him.
Some of the poorest in the land share in this abundant life which Jesus brought.
when he said, "You have heard it said and eye for an eye, but I say to you, turn the other cheek. Jesus said he came so that we might have life and have it abundantly. Justice is whatever works toward that goal, and injustice is whatever works against that goal. Jesus died and rose again so that we would have life, which is the divine intention. Forgiveness was not the goal but a means to that goal. And yes, it is the divine intention that all abide in eternal life for God wishes that none should perish but all should repent.
. . .abiding in eternal life has nothing to do with the justice toward which we work. Jesus did not come that everyone may have a comfortable life.
. . .repent in accordance with his law, which all do not do, and which has nothing to do with the definition of justice.

Cracker Barrel loses almost $100 million.

....If there's a new CEO for the chain, the first thing on the agenda (long before cosmetic upgrades) should've been a "give people less diarrhea" initiative......
That would literally be called "woke" according to that last video posted here.

Trump's Culture War Targets America's Museums

Right, but that still brings us back to the question of why people would be so fixated on writing my biography, and not seeming to have the slightest interest in the biography of the other 5 co-conspirators.
Choose whatever reason you need such that youre important enough to be of particular interest to people. And maybe they get their own bios too, with their own life stories just like you did.

AI admits that God is the answer

I use regular chatgpt and google Gemini. Very useful for coding work and assisting with engineering concepts.

It's able to do coding work entirely on its own. When it comes to engineering, it still tells me to use other (non-AI) 3rd party apps whenever applicable but it's useful for reality check. My concepts are concerned with energy and helps keep things in check if certain law of physics are being violated. I have quite extensive experience in these subjects long before there's AI so I would know if AI is making errors.

It still make errors in engineering concepts but mainly because it's not accounting for every possible factor that can affect the outcome. Not to criticize AI because even engineers, scientists, make the same oversight (that's why there are still many natural phenomena that are yet to be accurately understood).

So it functions as your rubber duck? I can 100% get behind that.

What do you consider a Biblical Church?

To me, that means:

The church accepts the clearly written, literal Genesis 6-day/24 hr creation and flood accounts (vs evolution); Moses' authorship of the Pentateuch; the Israelite nation, exodus, and Red Sea crossing; other OT miracles; no women pastors leading the congregation; and a stated position against the abortion, LGBT, and gender blending culture. I find the ones that do that have no problem fulfilling the other appropriate church expectations.

Thanks for the clarity of this statement. This is a set of beliefs held by a number of churches, and I think it's useful to have a name for it. "Biblical" is probably as good a name as any, as long as we all agree to use the word that way.

TRUMP "MISSED THE DEADLINE" TO CALL OFF TX GERRYMANDERING; CALIFORNIA WILL NOW DRAW NEW, MORE “BEAUTIFUL MAPS”

What do you think Newsom will be presenting? To achieve the BEAUTIFUL MAPS referenced in the OP, California will have to vote to do away with the independent redistricting commission and return redistricting authority to the state legislature. That will likely be a tall order, since polling shows that almost 2/3 of Californians prefer the independent commission, which means that all of Newsom's tweets about redistricting are just bluster.
