ALSO, ALSO, there are plenty of atheists, secular, and Democratic/left people who are proudly pro life. Their political persuasion or lack of religion has nothing to do with it.The question was: do they? My follow-up is: if they do care, then what are they doing about it?

Well, you're forgetting that birth control exists. But even if used 100% correctly, the 1% failure rate is going to mean a million unwanted pregnancies a year in the US alone. You're not going to adopt or abstain your way of of that figure.
Christianity and the GOP disagree with the majority of society on which consequences are acceptable, and they're trying to force their minority views on everyone.
Even the late Christopher Hitchens, an “anti-theist,” admitted the unborn were indeed human, he wasn’t opposed to it, because I suspect his followers would be upset with him.
