2022 is America's deadliest year for mass shootings.

705 mass shootings for 2022 beating all previous records.

The total of 43781 deaths (the equivalent of 9/11 more than fourteen times) and 38000+ injuries. And the year isn't over.

London Baptist Confession, 1689 (1.8)

"The Old Testament in Hebrew (which was the native language of the people of God of old), and the New Testament in Greek " "...by his singular care and providence kept pure in all ages, are therefore authentic; so as in all controversies of religion, the church is finally to appeal to them." 1.8

According to Muller in his Post Reformation Reformed Dogmatics the 17th century Reformers confessed, in both the Westminster and Second London Baptist Confessions, that the Bible they held in their hands had been kept pure.

What does this mean?

Dr. Edward Hills explains how Erasmus, in his first printing of his Greek New Testament, was guided by a common faith held by all concerning, the text they had. And that,

“Luther, Melanchton, Stephanus, Calvin, Beza, and the other scholars of the Reformation Period who labored on the New Testament text were similarly guided by God’s special providence. These scholars had received humanistic training in their youth, and in their notes and comments they sometimes reveal traces of this early education. But in their actual dealings with the biblical text these humanistic tendencies were restrained by the common faith in the providential preservation of Scripture, a faith which they themselves professed along with their followers. Hence in the Reformation Period the textual criticism of the New Testament was different from the textual criticism of any other book. The humanistic methods used on other books were not applied to the New Testament. In their editions of the New Testament Erasmus and his successors were providentially guided by the common faith to adopt the current text, primarily the current Greek text and secondarily the current Latin text. … thus the logic of faith led true believers of that day, just as it leads true believers today, to the Textus Receptus as the God-guided New Testament text”

The Greek text edition circulated by Theodore Beza was in common use and considered authoritative. There was little or no further textual criticism done to his Greek edition, hence, it was received. In history we find a clear witness of the Protestant church to the Received Text. The church is the witness, the pillar and ground of truth. (1 Timothy 3:15)

J. H. Gosden of the Gospel Standard Baptist observes in his commentary on the Gospel Standard Baptist Articles of Faith,

“By inspiration of God gave the Holy Oracles, and power – perennial miracle – He preserves them intact. They are inerrant, unchangeable, unlosable. Could they err or change or be lost, their divine origin would be disapproved and dependence upon them would be misplaced. In such a case there would exist no foundation upon which to build for eternity, no final court of appeal respecting truth and error, no standard of doctrine, no rule of practice, no touchstone of experience. “

Yours in the Lord,

Shepherds who Destroy and Scatter

Video Talk

Jeremiah 23:1-3 ESV

“’Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!’ declares the Lord. Therefore thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning the shepherds who care for my people: ‘You have scattered my flock and have driven them away, and you have not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for your evil deeds, declares the Lord. Then I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them, and I will bring them back to their fold, and they shall be fruitful and multiply.’”

Who are the shepherds being talked about here? They are pastors, elders, and deacons in church congregations, although some of them may go by other titles. Basically, they are the overseers of church congregations whose job it is to teach the people the Scriptures and about God – Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit. And they are supposed to teach us the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. And they are to lead the people in the ways of God in holy living and in walks of obedience to the Lord.

And who are the sheep? Biblically speaking, we are those who believe in Jesus Christ to be Lord and Savior of our lives with God-given faith. And that faith involves us being crucified with Christ in death to sin and us being raised with Christ to walk in newness of life in him, not like our old lives. So now we walk (in conduct, in practice) according to the Spirit in righteousness and holiness, in obedience to our Lord, and we no longer live according to our sinful flesh, making sin our practice and not righteousness our practice.

[Matt 7:21-23; Matt 24:9-14; Lu 9:23-26; Rom 1:18-32; Rom 2:6-8; Rom 6:1-23; Rom 8:1-14,24; Rom 12:1-2; Rom 13:11; 1 Co 6:9-10,19-20; 2 Co 5:10,15,21; 1 Co 1:18; 1 Co 15:1-2; 2 Tim 1:8-9; Heb 9:28; 1 Pet 1:5; Gal 5:16-21; Gal 6:7-8; Eph 2:8-10; Eph 4:17-32; Eph 5:3-6; Col 1:21-23; Col 3:5-17; 1 Pet 2:24; Tit 2:11-14; 1 Jn 1:5-9; 1 Jn 2:3-6,24-25; 1 Jn 3:4-10; Heb 3:6,14-15; Heb 10:23-31; Heb 12:1-2; Rev 21:8,27; Rev 22:14-15]

Nonetheless, we have people serving in positions of shepherd in these church congregations and/or in institutional (market-driven) “churches” (businesses) who are not teaching the gospel that Jesus and his apostles taught. But they are teaching a diluted gospel message that reduces the gospel to Jesus merely dying to forgive us our sins so when we die one day we get to go to heaven. But Jesus died that we might die with him to sin and live to him and to his righteousness (1 Peter 2:24; Romans 6:1-23).

So, by teaching this diluted gospel they are destroying the sheep (and/or prospective sheep) by teaching them half-truths which do not require them to die with Christ to sin and to live to him and to his righteousness. And they are leading them to believe they can still walk in sin and still have eternal life with God. But they are also scattering the sheep who are the Lord’s true servants and messengers who are proclaiming the truth of the gospel and who are refuting the lies, for those who truly serve the Lord don’t fit with their marketing schemes which are to draw in large crowds from the world.

[Matthew 7:15-23; Matthew 24:11-14; John 10:1-15; 2 Peter 2:1-22; 1 Timothy 1:3-7; 1 Timothy 6:3-10; 1 John 4:1-6; Jude 1:3-23]

Oh, to Be Like Thee, Blessed Redeemer

Lyrics by Thomas O. Chisholm, 1897
Music by W. J. Kirkpatrick, 1897

Oh, to be like Thee! blessèd Redeemer,
This is my constant longing and prayer;
Gladly I’ll forfeit all of earth’s treasures,
Jesus, Thy perfect likeness to wear.

Oh, to be like Thee! full of compassion,
Loving, forgiving, tender and kind,
Helping the helpless, cheering the fainting,
Seeking the wandering sinner to find.

O to be like Thee! lowly in spirit,
Holy and harmless, patient and brave;
Meekly enduring cruel reproaches,
Willing to suffer others to save.

O to be like Thee! while I am pleading,
Pour out Thy Spirit, fill with Thy love;
Make me a temple meet for Thy dwelling,
Fit me for life and Heaven above.

Oh, to be like Thee! Oh, to be like Thee,
Blessèd Redeemer, pure as Thou art;
Come in Thy sweetness, come in Thy fullness;
Stamp Thine own image deep on my heart.

Replacing God with AI

WWAD - What would the Adversary do

“Liberalism tells us that the voter knows best, that the customer is always right, and that we should think for ourselves and follow our hearts. Unfortunately, ‘free will’ isn’t a scientific reality. It is a myth inherited from Christian theology. Theologians developed the idea of ‘free will’ to explain why God is right to punish sinners for their bad choices and reward saints for their good choices.”

– Yuval Noah Harari

"In contrast, the ones who know they can’t think for themselves, Harari further argues, will be saved by their personalised AI babysitters. In Harari’s future world, there will be no God dangling the carrot or brandishing the stick, but there will be an all-seeing AI that does. What “we need,” he goes on, is “an antivirus for the brain. Your AI sidekick will learn by experience that you have a particular weakness…and would block [it] on your behalf.” The obvious alternative solution, fully protecting privacy and making data collection by governments and corporations illegal without full informed consent,1 seems not to have occurred to Professor Harari."

"Maybe the tragedy that we are currently suffering through is due to the fact that too many people put themselves on autopilot, outsourcing the responsibility of making decisions for themselves and their children to trusted authorities. Unfortunately, thinking for yourself requires a lot of work. And no one else can do it but you. "

WEF Transhumanists will fail to hack humans because of the complexities of human nature such as free will

How to sort out the problems?

How to sort out the problems?

All the things that take place here is a shadow of our spiritual situation in heaven. See, for instance, in the trial of Job (Job 1:6-12; 2:1-6; Dan 10:12,13; Zech 3:1-3).

Therefore, we need to occupy the position that Jesus conquered for us in the heavenly regions:

• Eph 2:6 -> “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”.

Specially because it is there where our blessing is:

• Eph 1:3 -> “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”.

Therefore:

• Col 3:1,2 -> “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”

But, how to fulfill this? Don’t get engrossed on your predicaments, look at Jesus firmly (Heb 12:1), that is to say:

1 – Don’t try to solve your problems alone. First, make amends with Jesus. When you are right before His eyes and you have learnt all the lesson that He wishes to teach you (and, if you allow, to receive everything that He desires to impart you), the things will get right (Prov 3:5-8; Ps 37:4-7).

2 – Don’t look at the circumstances that are surrounding you; pay attention to whom is close to you (Jesus or Ha-Satan?).

If you are with Christ, even if all the circumstances are unfavorable, you will find joy and will be more than conqueror. See the example of:

• Peter and John (Acts 5:40,41);
• Paul and Silas (Acts 16:25,26);
• The brothers of Thessalonica (2Cor 8:1-5);
• Many Hebrew believers (Heb 10:32-34);

Not to mention the promises (Isa 43:1-5).

On the other hand, if we are in sin (and with Ha-Satan), we never will find peace, even if Jesus put His peace in our hands (inasmuch as we won’t know to value it):

• Isa 57:19-21 -> “I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him. But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.”.

So, have a good day seeking to be in peace with Jesus, loving His company, doing all His will and it will be fulfilled the promise below:

• Rom 8:28 -> “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Did God make Absolem hate David and plot against him? (Not necessarily an actual question btw. Will explain in the post body)

Context:
My dad and I have often disagreed between an event which is recorded in Exodus. I'm being vague because I don't want anyone's answers to be influenced by it.

I read this section today and I thought I'd like to get more clarity on this (which may give me more clarity on the exodus thing).

Just for the sake of discussion, let's say someone tells you that, without God's bidding, Absolem wouldn't have conspired against David, slept with David's concubine, etc. So like, God made Absolem do all that. And they show you the verses below.

What would you tell them? If the words are to be interpreted in another way, can you give some examples in the Bible to back up what you say? Thanks a lot in advance!

“This is what the Lord says: ‘Out of your own household I am going to bring calamity on you. Before your very eyes I will take your wives and give them to one who is close to you, and he will sleep with your wives in broad daylight. You did it in secret, but I will do this thing in broad daylight before all Israel.’ ”

What is the appropriate way to explain not using a smartphone to co-workers?

I switched back to the flip phone with no Internet for a while because of trouble with sin with the smartphone. I have found that buying an iPhone and then switching back to a flip phone makes you the center of attention at work. Because I work with people who are not all Christians or may have some church experience but not be well grounded in the Gospel, I want to be careful what I share. If my co-workers find out I have a problem with lust, they may think I’m messed up and be less interested in what I would tell them about God and spiritual things.

So, in telling them why I switched back to the flip phone, I may just say that I don’t like smartphones as much as I thought I would when I got the iPhone. I may say that I have the tendency to spend too much time on a device and think if I spend less time on my phone and more time practicing the guitar that I would think I am more productive with my free time.

If they ask what kind of stuff I spend too much time on the smartphone I could just say something innocuous like I had a friend setup content restrictions on my phone but sometimes I can still make unwise content decisions. If I said more and explained that my religion teaches purity and respect for women and that if I look too much at women I may quit using the phone, I think this may be too much, but it may seem like a contrast to the coworker I met when I was first hired that openly shared about lusting after women. I think I should be careful because some of the people that would hear what I say are young ladies.

If I start telling people I made unwise decisions with the smartphone they may think that every time I switch to the flip phone that I did something irresponsible, but I may also have a desire to switch to the flip phone because I may want to just evaluate if I like the flip phone better than a smartphone. I may quit the smartphone for a temporary time and go back to using it again if I have victory for a long enough period of time.

Also I would like it if people don’t quote what I said in replies in case I want to edit out some of the personal information at a later time.

Jesus healed my autoimmune disease when I begged him.

I’ve been dealing with a flare up of ulcerative colitis for three months, progressively getting worse with blood and mucus and diarrhea. Last night and two nights ago I went into deep meditative prayers and begged God to take this mysterious disease away. I promised him I’d stop arguing with my husband and obey him because we’ve been arguing passionately about where to move. I feel my way is best but I promised god I’d let go and follow his commandments to obey your husband. Well, today and yesterday, guess what?! Completely normal poos. No blood. The best in months, and I’ve been eating a very relaxed diet on Christmas which before would make me sick. Praise Jesus hallelujah! It’s going to be hard but I’ll have to stop arguing with my husband and supporting his way, because it’s God’s will. Thank you Jesus for your healing.

What Biden's woke military has wrought

Although it pains me greatly to say it, I am not the slightest bit surprised that the military is having massive problems with recruiting and retainment. Why would any self-respecting young person want to join an organization that places all its emphasis on gender-bending, homosexual oddities, and kumbayah-ing its enemies, while passing over capable and qualified officer candidates in favor of much less-qualified candidates because such candidates are female, non-Caucasian, or a member of a non-standard sexual identity?

Would you follow such an officer into combat, trusting that said officer would be competent to make the best decisions to defeat your enemy, as well as keep you alive? I know I certainly wouldn't. It's no wonder nobody wants to join up anymore, and it certainly explains why the lifers are throwing up their hands in disgust and refusing re-enlistment. I would, too.

But, it's going to be 2023 five days from now---and if you trust anything that ol' Nostrodomie has to say, he predicts a 25-year war arriving this year, that will leave, among other things, heaps of bodies decaying in piles of bloody hail, Buckingham Palace and most of London being flattened by something coming out of the sky (comet? asteroid? nuclear warhead?), and every one of the fish in the Black Sea dying from being boiled alive for some reason (comet? asteroid? nuclear warhead?).

None of that would surprise me, either. With the shape the world is in, I am more convinced than ever that we are teetering upon the brink of the End of Days.

The Dangerous Hart of Universalism

The idea that everyone gets to heaven is firmly entrenched in our national psyche, and has been for quite some time.

For the past few months my youngest daughter has been studying modern history. As part of the curriculum, she has had to memorize a timeline of important events. Many of these, of course, involve immense tragedies and acts of violence that resulted the death of thousands of people:

  • In 1912, the Titanic hit and iceberg and sank on her maiden voyage from England to New York City. 1,517 passengers and crew perished.
  • On December 7, 1941, the Japanese attacked the U.S. fleet at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, killing 2,335 servicemen and 68 civilians.
  • On September 11, 2001, 19 terrorists hijacked four airliners and flew them into the Pentagon, the World Trade Center Towers, and a field in Pennsylvania. The death toll was 2,996.
  • In August, 2005, a category five hurricane named Katrina swept ashore in the U.S. Gulf Coast Region and submerged New Orleans. Over 1,500 people died as a result.
As I helped her go over these events, I was struck by the fact that, in each case, many or most of the people who died had a sense of false security about their situation.

The guests who partied or slept on board the Titanic as it steamed toward destruction were confident in the belief that they were sailing aboard the most impressive and safest ocean liner ever built. The American sailors who went about their business on a calm Sunday morning in the middle of the Pacific Ocean couldn’t imagine that death could rain down from those peaceful blue skies. For the men and women who went to work on September 11, 2001, it was just another day at the office. And for many who stayed behind to face Katrina, it was just another chance for a hurricane party. They believed the levees would hold, and everything would be alright.

But everything was not alright. In each case, the people were actually in grave danger. On top of that, in each case there had been warnings issued about that danger! The Titanic received several radio messages from ships ahead of them, warning of the ice fields. The U.S. government has acknowledged that it had gathered intelligence warning of attacks on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese, as well as warnings about a terrorist attack by Osama Bin Laden. In New Orleans, the weakness of the levees had been the subject of repeated warnings over the years, and residents were told to evacuate ahead of the storm.

However, those warnings were ignored, either by the authorities who should have passed them on to the general public, or by the public itself. And not only were the warnings ignored, but those who proclaimed them were mocked and ridiculed, often by others in authority. In place of the warnings came messages of comfort and calm. “Everything is fine,” they said, “we are in no danger.”

John 3:13

John 3:13 tells us "No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven".

The more I study this, the more confused I get. Does this mean that neither Enoch nor Elijah went directly to heaven? What about those in the faith chapter of Hebrews? Did no one go to heaven before Christ ascended?

Would appreciate any comments. Thanks.

Vladimir Putin claims he’s ready to negotiate peace over war in Ukraine

Russia is ready to negotiate with all parties involved in the war in Ukraine but Kyiv and its Western backers have refused to engage in talks, President Vladimir Putin has said in an interview that aired on Sunday.

Russia's 24 February invasion of Ukraine has triggered the most deadly conflict in Europe since World War Two and the biggest confrontation between Moscow and the West since the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis.

There is, so far, little end in sight to the war.

The Kremlin has previously said it would fight until all its aims were achieved while Kyiv said it will not rest until every Russian soldier is ejected from its territory, including Crimea which Russia annexed in 2014.

"We are ready to negotiate with everyone involved about acceptable solutions, but that is up to them - we are not the ones refusing to negotiate, they are," Putin told state television Rossiya 1.

‘Missing link’: Scientists may have just found the source of all complex life forms

1672155834724.png
How did the complex organisms on Earth arise?
This is one of the big open questions in biology. A collaboration between the working groups of Christa Schleper at the University of Vienna and Martin Pilhofer at ETH Zurich has come a step closer to the answer. The researchers succeeded in cultivating a special archaeon and characterizing it more precisely using microscopic methods.
I would normally provide a longer description of an article but after the numerous off topic comments that previous articles have have had, I'll just leave the link for those who might be interested.

Don't Grumble! Trust God!

Philippians 2:14-16 ESV

“Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.”

We Will Have Trials

As some of you may have heard by now, we had some flooding in our apartment on Saturday. A water pipe froze and burst in the attic of our building on the third floor, which is the floor above us. And all of a sudden water from above was pouring into our apartment in various rooms within our apartment, and we were catching and dumping it out and mopping it up, as much as we could, as fast as we were able to do so. Most of the water damage is in our ceiling, but our washing machine is not operable.

I am very thankful to the Lord that we were home when this happened so that we were able to take immediate action, or the damage could have been much worse. Evidently 28 apartments here in our apartment complex suffered water damage as water pipes burst in multiple apartment buildings. And the apartment complex’s on-site laundry facility got totally gutted by water damage. We had family members pitch in and help us, too, so I am very grateful for that. Every little bit of help made a huge difference.

So, when this was my passage of Scripture for today, this is what came to mind. For no matter what we go through, whether big or small, we must always keep the right perspective. We must remind ourselves, if need be, that God is in control. God is still on the throne. He is Lord over all. He is completely and wholly sovereign over all that he has created, and nothing happens in our lives unless God allows it and that he allows it for a purpose and he has a plan for what he intends to come from it.

And I know that one of the reasons God allows such trials to come into our lives is to test our faith. So, when we go through such trials, whether big or small, what is our response going to be? Are we going to be those who grumble and complain and fight and argue? Or are we going to be at peace? Are we going to pray? And are we going to trust the Lord every step of the way, even if it gets worse and not better? Or are we going to get angry and grumpy? The choice is ours, but we need to make the right choice.

How We Respond

We have been through much worse. In 2016 we were living in an apartment complex that was infested with bed bugs, but we did not know that when we decided to live there. And so we ended up getting bed bugs, and they were in my hair crawling on me and biting me daily. And I broke out into extremely painful welts from their bites. I obviously had an allergic reaction to bed bug bites. And they are horrible to try to get rid of. But thank the Lord, we were able to get rid of them in a fairly short period of time.

Then, last year, in our present apartment, we had a mice infestation and I got very ill from the mice, almost to the point to where I thought I was going to die, based on my symptoms. And after a few months of that my right knee caved on me and I have permanent nerve damage now in my right leg and I have serious balance issues, too, so I have to use a walker now when I go out in public. So, trials do come and sometimes they leave lasting effects. But God has a purpose for them all.

So, we can choose to let our trials take us out, or we can choose to accept them as allowed by God for a purpose in our lives, and then let him teach us what he wants us to learn through them. For we are going to get them whether or not we respond to them in the right way, because we live on this earth and we live in flesh bodies, and life on this earth is going to have its ups and downs, for certain. So, it is best if we learn to rest in the Lord through every trial and let him have his way in our lives.

When we respond to our trials by trusting the Lord to work in and through them for his purposes and for his glory, and we don’t let them overtake us, we can be a witness for Jesus through our trials. We can shine as lights in this dark world, and we can hold fast to the word of life, and we can share Jesus and the peace of Christ with others. But if all we do is grumble and complain and fight and argue, we won’t make very good lights for Jesus, will we? So, trust the Lord always, no matter what life brings your way.

Have Thine Own Way, Lord

Words by Adelaide A. Pollard, 1907
Music by George C. Stebbins, 1907

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Thou art the potter, I am the clay.
Mold me and make me after Thy will,
While I am waiting, yielded and still.

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Search me and try me, Master, today!
Whiter than snow, Lord, wash me just now,
As in Thy presence humbly I bow.

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Wounded and weary, help me I pray!
Power, all power, surely is Thine!
Touch me and heal me, Savior divine!

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Hold o'er my being absolute sway.
Fill with Thy Spirit till all shall see
Christ only, always, living in me!

Scientism Has a Problem — It Can’t Be Verified Scientifically

Science can measure some characteristics and reveal some physical structures, but it can never tell us what something is and why it was given the privilege of existing.

“Two blokes walk into a pub and say they’ve discovered the secret of life. Only on February 28, 1953, they weren’t joking.”

The two blokes? James Watson and Francis Crick. The secret of life? The double helix structure of DNA.

I came across this passage recently in a book about beekeeping, and I was struck by the casual, implicit assertion that DNA is the secret of life. Living things are certainly different from non-living things. The assumption of our age, so deeply embedded in our collective consciousness, is that the secret to understanding what makes living things alive, the determining factor that sets living things apart from other things, is DNA.

This idea is part of the wider, unquestioned and unconscious conviction of our culture that science has discovered and can discover all the secrets of existence. In the deeply religious and despotic philosophy of scientism (not science), such conviction is the paradigm of the virtue of faith: blind trust that the revelations made by the scientific method are the ultimate truths.

Need your prayers

Lord, reveal the work of God the Father to me, my people(Ha-young, Ye-young, Ui-seop, Jung-won, Hye-ok, Yul-bin, Suzy, Eun-tae, In-sook, Im-hak, Tan-ae), and to all who read it and pray, and let us know that the Father is in the Son Jesus and that Jesus is in the Father. The will of the true God, who knows all our needs, transcends our personal will. And that all of us will clearly see the Glory that God the Father gave to the Son because He loved His Son before the foundation of the world. Let Jesus Christ directly reveal the name of God the Father to us and see His glory. I Pray that all our glory be truly dedicated to your Son, Jesus Christ. And that we all shomer mitzvot regarding his commandments(keep his commandments) without failure. May God make possible what is impossible for man.

Discussion Dreams from GOD

This discussion is not one based around or involving a lot of scripture, but mainly experiences.

After I was born again I immediately started to receive dreams from GOD on various topics. Most dreams were very, very vivid from Him. If I was an artist, I could have drawn each scene out,... they were that impressed upon my spirit, even after 10 or 15 years or more.

For me, I knew it was a dream from GOD by how realistic the scenes were. I would normally see myself in the dream watching a scene unfold involving me and something I could be going through. It was like a movie scene that GOD created to show me bits of the future involving myself. Most were warnings and insight, dealing with people or things coming my way that I need to know about, where I could pray over the situation ahead of time with GOD and change the outcome that I was shown. A lot are also informative, where I may have a question about something and GOD answers it, or GOD is showing me something about Himself that addresses something in His word that He wanted me to know and understand further.

All my dreams from GOD are black and white and very defined. If I'm not sure about a dream, or it doesn't seem to make sense, I will ask GOD to remove it if it was not from Him, and it is gone almost right after I say that sort of prayer. I've had more than enough over the 30 years I've been with Him to realize the true from the false trying to infect me. They seem to always be based around the word of knowledge (current and past facts) and the word of wisdom (predictive events and the will of GOD).

I've never had a dream where I was confused about it and GOD would not explain it to me. Every time that I have ever asked about the understanding of a dream, He would explain bits and pieces of it till I understood the whole. Obviously I'm not reliant upon the whole dream interpretation thing by folks, hence why I posted this here instead of the other forum section. If it is from GOD I don't need to depend on someone else to understand it, I can just go to Him.

Praise the Lord for watching over my brother!

I was sitting at the table this holiday with my younger brother who serves full-time in the military. And my brother was among the troops who got sent overseas because of the Ukraine. And in the beginning I kept praying that my brother would not get deployed. And when he got the final ok that he was being deployed was held back from going. This happened two times. But there came a point where I had to be honest with the Lord and I finally just told the Lord if he's needed to let him go. And I'm by no means saying the Lord didn't let him go because I said. But I felt in my heart that I needed to just trust the Lord with my brother. Sometimes we don't trust the Lord as much as we really think we do. My reasoning I did not want him going was not that he was going to die, but that if he died due to negligence because of all the stuff going on, I just don't trust the new administration we had especially after the Afghanistan incidents and the way we deal with current affairs. So I prayed for my brother and his people to keep there eyes open and to make the right decisions and not just do stuff because somebody said so and to speak up if they needed to. And this week at the dinner table my brother told us he almost died over there during training. They were teaching them how to use our artillery systems under guided supervision of course and they were horrible at it. The artillery strikes came so close to them that they had to call off the training because each mortar kept getting closer and closer everytime it went off. And the general got mad and said they weren't allowed to do that because it was against there orders. I don't know what happened in between then but my brother ended up coming home two months early. He said an investigation was opened over the training exercise when they got back and that general is no longer in the military anymore because he was going against safety protocols. But I remember sitting there thinking I'm pretty sure I prayed for that. But one of the most glorious things is when the Lord shows you that he does hear our prayers.

PRAISE GOD!!
GOD Most Definitely hears our prayers,
He doesn't always answer them the way we'd like but how they need to be answered and i'm glad he answered your prayer, Brother.
