  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Weed and Worship

I guess it shouldn't have surprised me, but it did. There's a belief that grace covers sin, no matter what choice you make...and we are free to choose whatever we want because God gave us free will. "Smoking pot enlightens and opens your mind to really hear from God." Huh? and Huh? again...

    Torah of the Spirit

Messiah's spoken words are the Torah of the Spirit. The Torah of the Spirit is the Torah of Messiah. Yeshua spoke the words of God by the Spirit of God within him. The Torah of the Spirit is the Torah of Messiah, because Messiah was given the Spirit to announce the justice of God to the world...

What law did Jesus fulfill? What does it mean?

Hey guys and gals! I made a video on the primary fulfillment of Mosaic law. I’d love your thoughts and input! God bless you! How Did Jesus Full The Law? What Did Jesus Fulfill?

We are missing half the gospel...?

My wife and I read this post on medium the other day, and we wanted to start a discussion here on the forums about this topic to get your views, so we made an account on christianforums and here we are. Not sure if links to medium posts aren't accepted, but I am not sure how else to share this...

Christ Prophesied In The Right Name

First, let's verify that Christ was recognized as a prophet. By people generally: Matthew 21: 11 And the multitude said, This is Yahushua the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee. Then by His disciples: Luke 24: 19 ..Yahushua of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and...

    Paul in Galatians

The law misused is in opposition to Christ because of flesh that fights the spirit .. Galatians 2:16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works...

Don't Sweat The Small Stuff !

Declare once and for all that the law is dead! There are laws and then there are commandments. The former being temporal and latter being eternal. There are considerations for both, especially as it related to the jews, which we are not. God's intent is not for us to go back to the old ways...

The problem of Objective Morality. and why even biblical speaking it is subjective

Good Evening. I am Zed Aliz Zed And this shall be a briefing on Morality. and issues with different kinds of it. What is Morality? The basic creed of every civilization and fundamentally the basis of "Good" and "Evil" the idea itself is probably as old as Humanity is. as even without...

    What is L.O.V.E.? (Matthew 22:36-40)

Commands. Laws. Rules. Controls. Borders. Boundaries. All predicated on one simple concept: How things work. This may be a trivial inquiry, but if this "love" thing is the greatest commandment, then doesn't it need to be DEFINED? If it can't, then how do we know we're doing it right? So what...

    Oh! The Blood.

God demanded blood for the atonement of sin. At least that’s what most religious thinking states. For only by blood can we ever quell God’s wrath for our offense? The use of blood sacrifice is not new nor did it start with God’s people but has been a part of the human condition since the...

Should Christians engage in Hebrew rituals?

While I was in Jerusalem, I met an interesting Jewish man who, in the course of discussion, mentioned that his view of the Tanakh was that it showed us exactly how God wants to be worshipped, served, etc. His point of view on following the law was that it's how God wants to be treated, not as an...

    Christian requirements

This could be posted here or in the sub forum "sabbath and the Law." I do not think Christians required to keep the law meaning the old covenant. Christians are under a much different order for their life. For instance a Christian is said to have fruit in Gal 5:22-23. I maintain that fruit...

JESUS: and the Mosaic “Law”: FULFILLMENT and MISSIONS Jesus the God-Man confirmed and clarified all of the Mosaic "Law", i.e. the spiritual heart of which was Moses' "Big Ten”... EXCEPT: "Remember the Sabbath Day and keep it Holy"...worshipping / rest on "Saturdays". Under the "New Covenant"...

Perpetual begging for forgiveness of sins

There have been quite a few posts about sinning after salvation, with some claiming that even as Christians their sins aren't forgiven. Allow me to use an analogy to show how this belief is false. Suppose you're driving down a road with a posted speed limit. If you exceed the speed limit...

Born Again and in Need of Friends for Political Action

Hello, fifty-six-year-old Texan here. Raised as a Presbyterian PC(USA), but felt lost. I am a legal scholar with an...

    Vows and OCD

Long story short, I was struggling with OCD a while back, and engaging in some very legalistic thinking and behaviours. For example I thought that God wanted me to stay awake all night and agonize over my Bible, or else I would go to hell. A very rough time of my life, which has thankfully...

Saved by grace, but whom are Jesus' warnings directed to? (And the other warnings)

Hi everyone! Shalom to you. So I've been studying the bible a lot lately. I've been praying so much also, that God really would show me the whole truth (and I'm open in my heart for whatever God wants to show me, whether I feel it's easy or "legalistic" in my eyes). I know verses like...

Sabbath & Holy Days NECESSARY for salvation.

What I find amazing when talking to some Christians. They use human reasoning to decide they don't have to do what God clearly tells them.
