Let us go to the basics. God, or rather El, in Hebrew, stands for Power. So the meaning of God = Power.
This is why Jesus says:
And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of Power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
Mark 14:62
El Elyon means the most high Power. So ''Power'' is the direct meaning of the word ''God''.
A modern term for this would be ''Energy''. And a modern biblical term for this would be ''Spirit''. All of this is the same. Because Spirit = Energy = Power.
In Hebrew tongue this speaks for itself.
But, that is why Jesus had to explain it to the Samaritan women,
''Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.''
and a little later:
'' God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.''
So Jesus had to explain to her the very definition of God (El) with its true definition of God. First Jesus explains, that Father is a term for God, and that God, thus the Father, is Spirit.
This is also why we see this:
Luke 1:35
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
The Holy Spirit is the Power of the Highest. Hence Paul also equates Christ with the Power of God (1 Cor 1:24) Because Paul understands the Spirit of the man Jesus Christ to be the Spirit of the one true God, the Father, and hence Paul equates Jesus with the LORD/YHVH of the Old Testament.
Again we see the same thing:
1 Cor 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Calling upon the name of the Lord Jesus = Calling upon the Spirit of the Most High
The man Jesus Christ is 100% out of the Spirit of God, hence a man, and hence the son of God as I laid out in this thread, and the Spirit of God is 100% His Spirit, hence he is the Lord, to the glory of God the Father. They crucified Him because they understood he claimed to be a physical man who proceeded forth out of the true God, and hence his Indwelling Spirit, the very God of Israel. And this the unbelieving Jews could in no wise accept.
It must be noted that while God is power, he is not an impersonal, pantheistic power. He is alive, eternally self-existent, all encompassing conscious power, the Ultimate Power and Authority, the source from which all creation owes its existence to. The Father of spirits. This is why Paul says the Father is above all, in all, and through all. And that he endorses the saying: in Him we live, move and have our being.
All spirits have their origin from Him. Yet that does not mean that our spirit is inherently the same as His.
God is Holy - or rather set apart, from all other spirits, even though all spirits originate from Him. How that works out- don't ask me. We don't have to have answers for every thing.
It is to be noted that this holy, set-apart Spirit, God himself, is unlimited in His Power. He can act and speak seperately from the flesh body of Christ.
Maybe this will help you understand why the word of God the Father spoke from heaven to Jesus Christ on earth, and why the Spirit of God descended upon him in the form of a dove. It doesn't work out in the trinity model, but yes, the Word of God spoke to Jesus Christ on earth from heaven. By the way, it may also help for your understanding that wherever the Spirit of God is, there Heaven is also, because Heaven is His throne.
Terms like right-hand of the Power, is an euphemism. God is not a creature- like us, he cannot even be comprehended in spatiality.
That the Son of Man is seated at the right hand of Power is a full declaration of him, Christ, being the very bodily form of the ultimate Deity there is, as Paul affirms in Col 2:9
