  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Antisemitism all time high in UK

No one is saying it's easy, but history is full of selfless stories where men ride out and meet evil on the battlefield not just for themselves and their own generation, but the generations to come.

If they love their land, and I suspect they do, then they can find it in themselves to expel the enemy within, especially now they're so weakened that by accounts from both sides of the table, Hamas is no longer a functioning military force in the sense it once was.

Men going to war despite a wife and child at home is nothing new. If anything it's the norm amongst countries whose military might comes from people volunteering to be in that position. For some, the fact they have a wife and child at home is the reason they do so.
Much of what you said is true, but what would you yourself do as a family man living in a terrorist stronghold with 1 in 3 of your neighbors showing support for the terrorists?

Did The Fallen Angel 'Samyaza' Manipulate DNA ?

I also tells us this in the book of Jasher ;

The book of Yashar (Jasher) chapter 4 further confirms this understanding of pre-flood hybridization.

18 And their judges and rulers went to the daughters of men and took their wives by force from their husbands according to their choice, and the sons of men in those days took from the cattle of the earth, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order therewith to provoke the Lord; and God saw the whole earth and it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its ways upon earth, all men and all animals.
I've heard about that book, I've never read it, I just may do so, thank you.

TRUMP "MISSED THE DEADLINE" TO CALL OFF TX GERRYMANDERING; CALIFORNIA WILL NOW DRAW NEW, MORE “BEAUTIFUL MAPS”

California voters widely prefer keeping the state’s independent redistricting commission, new polling shows, as Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) threatens to bypass it to counter GOP gerrymandering in other states.
A Politico-Citrin Center-Possibility Lab survey found 36 percent of California voters support returning congressional redistricting authority to the state Legislature, compared to 64 percent who back the independent redistricting commission.

At the end of the great tribulation, Jesus will return with the resurrected/raptured saints in Revelation 19:12-16
Your entire paradigm of the end times, is wrong and unbiblical. Nowhere is it said the Anti-Christ will confirm the Mosaic Covenant.
The ONLY people Jesus will bring with Him, will be the martyrs killed during the 3 1/2 period of world Satanic control. Revelation 20:4-5

You persist in posting ugly pictures on my threads. The one in #44 has no scriptural support and is just a fanciful dream.
Using 'come up hither', Revelation 4:1, spoken just to John, shows how willing you are to twist and mis-apply scripture to fit your false beliefs. What will Jesus say to people who do that?

Trump Angry at Smithsonian, for Depicting Slavery as Bad

President Donald Trump escalated his campaign to purge cultural institutions of materials that conflict with his political directives on Tuesday, alleging museums were too focused on highlighting negative aspects of American history, including “how bad slavery was.”
In a Truth Social post, Trump directed his attorneys to conduct a review of museums, comparing the effort to his crackdown on universities across the country...
"The Smithsonian is OUT OF CONTROL, where everything discussed is how horrible our Country is, how bad Slavery was, and how unaccomplished the downtrodden have been-"

Big Brother is angry. History must change!

All humans are 50th cousins?

My 15x (or so) removed first Cousin Martin caused a bit of a stir. (If you can believe that.)
I've got a family bible upstairs which dates back to the late 18th century. But I always had doubts whether it belonged to the family as someone had listed births and deaths for three or four generations from the late 19th century, but the surnames were 'Jones'. That's a very common Welsh surname, but which is not mine. The rest of the family is long gone, so there was no-one to ask.

Then quite a few years ago I Googled my father's name, just out of curiosity. And one hit noted his father's name as Edward - which was my grandfather. So I dug a little deeper and came across a web page that someone had started as a family tree record and listed there was Edward's wife's maiden name. Hang on, I thought...I dug out the bible and there she was. She'd been the girl listing all the births and deaths. It was my paternal grandmother.

So pleased that it was our family bible after all. She's listed two previous generations, so I can go back that far. I keep meaning to add the rest of the family line up to the present day at which point I'll pass the bible on to either my son or daughter. Then the grandkids will at least have one line back to one great great great great grandparent.

The guy who had looked into the family tree turned out to be a second cousin. I contacted him and it seems he remembered me from the late 60's as his grandfather had taken him along to our house to visit my grandfather. He recalled a 'cool looking guy with long hair'. I was 17 and he was about 10.

6,000 Years?

Yep. Land would be the correct word. You can’t really have a flood in the ocean. Only the land would have been flooded.
But not the whole world. Why not just accept it as He said it was? If it was worldwide, He would have said it was. The fact that the flood account depicts the sky as a solid dome with windows in it through which rain falls, tells us that this was never meant to be a literal history.

Very Important Information about Bible Translations

I believe for whatever reason, God wanted that trinity passage in the Word, or it would not have made in! I also believe God left us an entire Word and not a partial testimony. It's easy for me to assume that if the entire Word is present, the translation will contain His entire Word. The translation isn't perfect, but the Word in the translation is, if it's a plenary version.

God gave us His Word for the last 400-500 years, and any translation that lacks much Scripture is not going to do any good. The modern version rave will soon fade, because it doesn't have the Word God gave us for the last 5 centuries; and there's no way believers will be able to use much verse memory with these translations, seeing the sources for the translations are textually in much disagreement with one another.

It didn't take long for Christians to stop studying the Word since the appearance of these translations. Satan cannot effect one's salvation, but he can keep saints from growing in Christ image, when they cease from studying the word.

I'm also convinced that this is Satan's continued attack on the Word, ever since the first strike, "Yea hath God said"
(Gen 3:1).

Appreciate much your replies! God bless!!
Ah, now you seem to come-out as a KJV-only adherent? If you would have stated this belief in advance our whole discourse could have been skipped :) Because if that is your belief you will make anything (including your views on what is actually the Word of God, or the value of Textual Criticism) fit that narrative. What version of the KJV do you believe is the literal Word of God? And can you still manage to detect actual errors in the KJV?

Sigh ..

Nope. When Jesus said no one knows the day or hour, He wasn't just making that up. If you come up with something that suggests we can know the day or hour, then you know you can't be correct because Jesus said otherwise. Scripture is clear that He will come unexpectedly as a thief in the night, so any theory you come up with to suggest that He won't return unexpectedly is false.
Jesus said: You don't know the hour of My coming....
He wasn't referring to His glorious Return, but His coming in fire, on His terrible day of wrath, Isaiah 66:15-17, Revelation 6:12-17
Why should He hide the Day of His Return? We ARE told exact time periods and the time of world satanic control, Rev 13, will last exactly 1260 days.
The seventh and last trumpet will sound on that day, so I don't know what your point is here. Nothing will signal or indicate the exact day or hour of His return before the day and hour He actually returns.
My point is that we can know the Day of Jesus Return, many things lead up to it, the Sixth and Seventh Bowl, Rev 16:12-14 & 16 will indicate how close it is.
I view Rev 16:15, as a parenthesis insertion; referring back to how we must be aware and prepared for the Sixth Seal world changer.
In my view, you are the one who ignores parts of God's Word. Such as 2 Peter 3:13. What Peter said we are to look for in fulfillment of the promise of the second coming (return) of Christ are the new heavens and new earth. But, you talk about looking for something far inferior to that in fulfillment of the promise of His second coming instead.
Revelation 21:1-8, follows on from Rev 20. It is plain that there will be a thousand years between the glorious Return and the new heavens and earth, your statement above, is a flat out contradiction of scripture.

Trump suggests he’ll release Jeffrey Epstein ‘client list’ if elected: ‘I’d have no problem with it’

Promise made, promise broken.
Yes yes he said he had no problem with. The difference is there are a lot of people who are claiming hes not after all because hes on it.

Let me help. WE ALL KNOW HES ON IT ALREADY.

You guys seem to think its about him, because you guys always make everything about him.

I hear absolutely NO speculation regarding other reasons he may not release the list. If the list was released and Trumps name was on it, the left would point fingers and say see! We would respond with so? We already know hes on it because we already know he flew with him all those years ago.

So hes certainly not releasing tge list because of him. Its something else. And many people, including right wingers, want to know who else is on the list. What exactly are the concerns regarding who else is on it?

I think its far more likely to cause international incidents and thats why its not being released if there even is the kind of list people think there is. He's not trying to protect himself hes trying to prevent other problems that could arise if this so called list is released.

Thats a much more plausible explanation. Frankly I dont care. Just release the stuff and let the chips fall. Who cares if it causes international incidents. Those involved can just explain themselves to their own people. Maybe the information could cause other countries to break ties with us because they find out that Epstien was a CIA operative and was blackmailing people. I don't know. But that's more plausible than "Trump isnt releasing it because hes on it."

Its already been proven he flew with Epstein.

Trump goes after mail-in voting and election machines; "States are merely an “agent” for the Federal Government", must do what President says

Some conservative, Republican, and Trump voters acknowledge that U.S. elections are neither fraudulent nor rigged. However, they do not address the issue when they observe someone disseminating misinformation.

They are more interested provoking the liberal.

A trump supported said "I know President Trump can't run in 2028, but I have a Trump 2028 sticker on my car just to provoke liberals." No wonder politics are so divisive.
Some Trump voters have never gotten over being called deplorable.

I fully expect Trump to run in 2028 if there are no medical reasons that prevent him.

Wanna bet?
Only if he feels its needed to head off the possibility of jail time for real felonies like election interference etc.

Short of that he'll be worn out and throw his considerable weight behind a Trump kid or Kirsti Noem etc.

Coming Out In The Vatican A Homosexual Theocracy

As far as homosexuality, sometimes you just have to tell yourself "no" to certain behaviors. It's the same with drug addicts, etc. Nobody expects it to be easy, but to follow Christ you have to pick up your cross and bear your sufferings. I'm a widow, I could be dating like crazy. My life sure would be a lot less lonely. But, in following Christ, I realized that I had to focus on Him, not myself. After clearing the addicts out of my life, I've made a few friends who's focus isn't on getting high all the time. Anyway, homosexual behavior, like any other sin, is not a life sentence. And I definitely have splinters in my eye too.

Hamas are outnumbered thousands to one by regular people in Gaza.

The risk to their lives by uprooting them is no greater than the risk to their lives by allowing those swines to use them as human shields and their corpses as propaganda.

If they wanted to end this, they could. They could force Hamas out, they could force the release of hostages, which between the millions of people they surely know the locations of, and they could ensure no one like Hamas takes power again.
Let's say a young man was born on an island where his parents voted for a group that they thought at the time would benefit their lives. After this group was elected, it forcefully took control of the island and decided not to hold any further elections, and the island has had this group as its governing body ever since. It turns out this group likes to attack a nearby island, and in return, the nearby island often retaliates with a force ten times that of the group on his island. In the past, when people criticized the group or tried to remove them from power, their efforts were quickly crushed, and individuals who tried to organize rebellion against the group were often severely injured or even killed for doing so.

This young man is now an adult, married, and has three small children. He's unhappy living under the leadership of the group his parents helped vote into power and tired of the conflict it's having with the neighboring island and the suffering it brings. Despite the hardships and suffering this group brings to the island, 1 in 3 of his neighbors continue to support them.

What would you do if you found yourself in his situation?
