  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

China on the rise

Nothing has fundamentally changed. China is still the old China, so is the US.

It's a coincidence, or by God's will, that China has an excellent leadership, while the US going downhill for several reasons. Democracy is not a good model for sustaining sound economics, especially when go with free capitalism. The US however is still ok because it runs a imperialism instead of true capitalism (Europe is more inclined to this).

You can't expect a good leadership such as that of China lasts forever. Everything is rather temporary. The Western civilization is also at risk for another reason. The youth (generation z?) are no longer qualified for supporting the democracy society model. The rule of thumb is, people (citizens) serve as a supply chain of politicians and government officials. Good soil gives good fruits. In the end, Christians are the salt and light of this world. A society is doomed when choosing to leave God and Christianity. China is away from God from the beginning. The US and West and slowly walking away.

Why we Christians still have to struggle with sins?

1. Grace existed before Christ but only in a limited form (Noah saved from flood, not eternal salvation).

  • Claim: Noah’s grace was only temporal (deliverance from the flood). True grace (salvation) came only when Christ died.
  • Rebuttal:
    • Romans 4:3 – “Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.” → Salvation by grace through faith existed before the cross.
    • Hebrews 11 lists OT believers (Noah, Abraham, Moses) as saved by faith—looking forward to Christ’s sacrifice.
    • The cross was the basis of salvation for all ages (past, present, future), not just after Christ appeared (Heb. 9:15).
There seems to be an omission of an important part in your summary. Noah is the heir of the righteousness, which is by faith, but there is a mystery involved, I will show it to all. Hebrews 11:7-8, is in the correct particular and linked order, because Noah has a covenant given to him and his seed after him, and that is to Abraham, who has the covenant with him and his seed after him.

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

So here below in Genesis 9, is the covenant with the seed after Noah.

Genesis 9:8 And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying,
9 AND I, BEHOLD I ESTABLISH MY COVENANT WITH YOU, and WITH YOUR SEED AFTER YOU;
10 AND WITH EVERY LIVING CREATURE THAT IS WITH YOU, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth.
11 And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood TO DESTROY THE EARTH.
12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

Here in Genesis 17, is the covenant, and it is again, with his seed after him. The covenant would be established with Isaac, THIS IS THE CRUCIAL PART, OF IN ISAAC SHALL YOUR SEED BE CALLED. ow the covenant is with Jacob, so the seed after them.

Genesis 17:19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and WITH HIS SEED AFTER HIM.

Genesis 17:21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.

Genesis 21:10 Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.
11 And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son.
12 And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for IN ISAAC SHALL THY SEED BE CALLED.

Genesis 35:12 And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and TO THY SEED AFTER THEE will I give the land.

So who is that seed after Noah first of all, ( not heir of the righteousness which is by faith for nothing, but because of the covenant that said, with his seed after him) So it is the children of promise, as God gave promise to Abraham, of having his son Isaac with Sarah, and in Isaac the seed is called. One of Abrahams two sins was born after the flesh and not by promise, and that one persecutes the other. Then that one is cast out to not be heir with the free. The seed starting with Noah was Christ.

Romans 9:7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
9 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son.
10 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;
11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)
12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Galatians 4:22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

Noah also had another testimony, of being the heir of the righteousness which is by faith, to be saved by water. Baptism also now saves us, saved by water again, and even by that heir of the righteousness, ( the son of the one born after the flesh shall not be heir) which is by faith, and the covenant with the seed after him ( which seed is Christ.) all is the answer of a good conscience toward God by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

So the part omitted, is what part Noah and Abraham are, not just people who believed in God/were given God's grace, but of the covenant God made/promises given and fulfilled in Christ...

Romans 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

Israel and the New Covenant.

Hebrews 4:7-10

7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

I believe we cease from trying to make ourselves righteous through the works of the law as we come to believe/understand that it is God Who sanctifies us.
There is saving faith and there is faith that does not save. Saving faith has PROOF which shows in our actions Paul argues this point in Romans 4.
Example: "What does Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness. - Romans 4:3 and in James
"But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. " James 2:18

So in essence, faith is proven via works. Not that works are what saves you (like the law) but it proves where your heart is. True faith will want to keep his commandments, but those who practice lawlessness (sin on a continual basis) will be given this:

"“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’" - Matthew 7:21-23

Edit: fixed the romans verse, Sorry! And adding:

"And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only." - James 2:23-24

Here’s the No. 1 fallacy on eternal security

Really, how come?
Addressed in post #336.
That's not what the text says. And Ezekiel wrote well after Adam,
So Scripture got it wrong in Eze 18:20?
through whom humanity did, indeed, contract the guilt of Adam's sin as we all fell with him. They didn't commit the sin but inherited the consequences nonetheless.
Correct, inherited the consequences, did not inherit the sin, which sin is imputed (Ro 5:14, 17), just as Christ's righteousness is imputed (Ro 5:18-19, 1:17, 3:21, 4:5, Php 3:9), not inherited.

Brick-n-Mortar Demons

I don't know any Holy Spirit filled Christian celebrating this tragedy. Maybe point me to a video or article? Because I keep hearing this and have yet to see some proof. Thanks!
Be blessed.
Thanks Maria! I had no idea after the assault, I might need a record of the slow build of occurrences.
'', this pack of evil spirits to be welcomed by so many self-professing Christians that to this day, celebrate the martyrdom/murder of Christian Charlie Kirk!
As a Virginia Baptist Pastor, Rev Dr Howard John-Wesley put it, ''I'm overwhelmed by folks who call themselves Christian, simply because they invoked the name of Jesus and quote scripture from the Old Testament," he said.

Not an especially progressive wing. Ignorance is such a bad state to fixate on. But, I'll add to the list, as I come across this damaging trend.

Trump Orders Flags to Half-Staff for Charlie Kirk

Compare the actual language of this bill with those honoring Kirk:
NOW, THEREFORE, I, TIM WALZ, Governor of Minnesota, do declare Wednesday, May 25, 2022, to be George Floyd Remembrance Day in honor of him and every person whose life has been cut short due to systems of racism and discrimination in Minnesota.
The fourteenth day of October is designated as "Charlie Kirk Memorial Day" in recognition of Charles James Kirk, the political activist who was born on that day in 1993
Resolved, That the House of Representatives—

(1) supports the designation of a “National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk”;
(2) recognizes Charlie Kirk for his contributions to civic education and public service; and
(3) encourages educational institutions, civic organizations, and citizens across the United States to observe this day with appropriate programs, activities, prayers, and ceremonies that promote civic engagement and the principles of faith, liberty, and democracy that Charlie Kirk championed.
Note how the Minnesota bill does not lionize Floyd or declare him to be some sort of exemplar - it states what happened to him and the injustice of it, and declares a day of remembrance for Floyd and all those similarly treated unjustly by law enforcement. In contrast, the Kirk bills are explicitly in honor of Charlie Kirk and hold him up as an example to be followed.
3 different bills were named after him
View attachment 371019
All of which relate to police/law enforcement reforms, not Floyd himself. His name is used in recognition of the impact that his death had on the conversation about racism and racial bias in policing, not in honor of George Floyd, the man.
There were cities that renamed parks and streets in his honor...

View attachment 371020
That part, I agree, is a little silly, but also, I'm pretty sure it was just Minneapolis, and just the place where he was killed (that's where that picture is from).

Israel and the New Covenant.

Yes, unbelief is sin (breaking God's laws 1John3:4 James2:11) rebellion and disobedience. We are told not to follow the same path of disobedience, so we can enter our rest, which is in God's Kingdom Rev22:14 No one in God's Kingdom is going to be breaking God's commandments that is unrest. Isa48:18 Rev14:11-12

Heb 3:7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:

“Today, if you will hear His voice,
8 Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,
In the day of trial in the wilderness,

9 Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me,
And saw My works forty years.
10 Therefore I was angry with that generation,
And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart,
And they have not known My ways.’
11 So I swore in My wrath,
‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ”
12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; 13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, 15 while it is said:
“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”

16 For who, having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses? 17 Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

I believe we cease from trying to make ourselves righteous through the works of the letter of the law (ten commandments) even as we come to believe/understand that it is God's Spirit Who sanctifies us. --> It's my testimony that The Holy Spirit uses Love God with all your heart mind and soul and love your neighbor as yourself, to convict me of sin.

Hebrews 10:25 - Quietly Quitting Church?

Oh, wow! Do you think the lead pastor's absence has to do with these things? I am not experienced with many churches and so would not have considered any reasons other than disinterest, perhaps? Thanks!

I can't say about your pastor and I certainly hope That is not the case for you. But, I've been part of different churches for a few decades now, and I have experienced it happening that way in some places. (Interestingly, in the church I attend now the pastor invites every new person that comes to church for a personal 1:1 sit-down. It was one of the things that sold me on attending there among other equally good choices in the area.)

Trump sends troops to the 'warzone' of Portland...

Sorry but you lose moral ground when your country is having similar issues and uses water cannons on protesters
I don't think anyone is looking for a moral high ground.

I'm pretty sure they are more interested in simply suggesting that the militarization of American cities should be seen as an utter embarrassment instead of embraced and encouraged.

I also choose not to believe you all still think that ICE is going after murderers, rapists, and gang leaders.

how old is too old?

Sometimes when older people seek someone very young, they want to do that so that can have someone they hope will be easily controlled or manipulated. This is not always the case, but it is something to be aware of amd proceed cautiously until you know them well.

The older you get, the less age gaps seem to matter because life experiences make a huge difference in how you relate to people, understand and assert boundaries, and view life in general.

When I was young I didn't feel comfortable with more than a two year difference. Since my early 30's, I have had a general guideline that I don't want to be with anyone with more than 10-12 year difference. Given the right circumstances and respect, I could have some wiggle room for that.

Awake Or Asleep?

I appreciate your modesty and honesty.
Being willing to learn shows humility.
I'm always referring to the Ethiopian eunuch, who said to Phillip, when asked, "Do you understand what you are reading?”, "Well, how could I, unless someone guides me?"
What humility!

Acts 8:27And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,

28 Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet. 29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? 31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. 32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth: 33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth. 34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man? 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

I like this story as well. From the beginning of the Chapter there were men who "professed to know God" like Saul and the mainstream religion of that time, who also read and claimed to understand what Isaiah said. This Ethiopian had gone to Jerusalem to worship God and no doubt heard the Pharisees promote their religion. But he was still seeking answers that the mainstream religions of his time could or would not answer. If this man was seeking God from his heart, would God would reveal Himself to him. I liken it to the "pricks" in Paul's heart Jesus spoke of. I don't believe it was a single prick that happened on the road to Damascus, rather, Paul was pricked in his heart at the way they treated Stephen and others. He was bothered by the commandments of men his adopted religion taught for doctrines. And he had guides that ruled over the Temple for centuries. But Jesus led him to someone God gave to Jesus for this purpose. I see the Ethiopian as another example of the same thing.

And it makes perfect Spiritual sense. If a man is Seeking God's Truth, His Kingdom, His Righteousness from the heart, his heart is open to God's Truth, God's Kingdom, God's Righteousness. But if a man is only seeking justification, he can find that in any religion on the planet. In my view. As it is written:

"and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you".

He did not say, "God will help me understand"... like the man that was waiting on the roof of his car, waiting for God to save him, and told the people in the boat that came to take him to safety, "God will save me. I'm waiting on him."
That's a funny illustration, but it does highlight a fact so evident today, where so many millions, think that God is going to personally open their minds to truth, by his spirit.

Yes, man's minds are opened by God's Spirit, but not simply because a man calls Jesus Lord, Lord. At least according to Scriptures, in my understanding.

Why I so much like Acts 8:26-39 too, is because it shows the means by which God teaches humble ones who are willing to learn.

Yes, this is shown throughout the Holy scriptures. Zacharias humbled Himself, or as Paul calls it, "Yielded himself" to God, and he too was taught the Gospel of Christ. Caleb too, and Rehab was also blessed in her humility. As it is written, "The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom". No doubt the Ethiopian who was reading Isaiah, has respect unto God.

We notice that the verses before reveal that because of Saul's severely attacking the Christians the disciples scattered, and "those who had been scattered went through places [c]preaching the word. Philip went down to the city of Samaria and began proclaiming the [d]Christ to them." Acts 8:4, 5

So, Phillip, whom we know is called the evangelizer (Acts 21:8) was doing what his Lord and master commanded his followers - that is, spreading the message far and wide, to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8

Yes, as it is written: 2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments "unto the apostles" whom he had chosen:

Many of his followers had other gifts.

Remember, Paul warned about men who wanted to be like the 12 Apostles, of men who "Transformed themselves" into apostles of Christ.

Then we read that while he was doing so, and "they started back to Jerusalem, and were preaching the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans, an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “go [j]south to the road that descends from Jerusalem to Gaza.”

I don't know if you picked up on the points I zeroed in on.
  1. Phillip was a follower of Christ, engaging in the work Jesus started, and commissioned his followers to finish.

It seems important to me, and I'm sure you already know this, but Philip was one of the 12 Apostles that God gave to Jesus..

2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; 3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus; 4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

  1. Jesus was using his follower, and from heaven, guiding them by means of his angels, and holy spirit of course.

Matt. 28: 16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. 17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

We have what Zacharias didn't have. The eye witness Testimony of Christ. And the Teachers HE CHOSE, to teach us, just as HE chose to teach the Ethiopian. He not only had Moses and the Prophets, but he had Jesus and the teachers He Chose, Philip and Peter and Matthew and John, and the last Apostle, Paul.

Truly a "Better Ministry".

Jesus guided a disciple to a man who was humble, and thirsting for the truth.

Absolutely, that is the key isn't. Those who hunger and thirst for God's righteousness.

This highlights that as it was when Jesus walked this earth, and went out with his disciples, organizing and instructing them (Luke 8:1; Luke 9:1-6; Luke 10:1-11), it is the same way today, as Jesus promised to be with them to the end of the world. Matthew 28:20

Yes, even to this day, the Prophets HE sent, And His Son, by whom HE created all things, and the Apostles HE gave to Jesus to teach me, are here. Just as Promised.

34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Now that we know God, lets us all Glorify Him "As God" as did Noah, Abraham, Moses James and Cornelius, and all true believers, in Faith that HE will guide our footsteps as He did those men of Faith.

What this teaches us, and something that will always be before me, is that if we really are to understand the Bible accurately, we need to allow Christ's disciples to teach us, as that Ethiopian allowed Phillip to.

I agree, that is why I only study the Holy Scriptures, and this based on what Paul teaches.

1 Tim. 3: 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

15 And that from a child thou hast known "the holy scriptures", which are able to make thee wise unto salvation "through faith" which is "in" Christ Jesus.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God "may be perfect", (As both God and His son Jesus instructs) throughly furnished unto all good works.
Of course with the mass of confusion Satan has created, we need to be able to identify Christ's followers today... which to my mind isn't that hard. We just need to look for the marks.

God has already "looked at the marks" of the Teachers Jesus gave us. Why should a man seek other voices?

The Bible can be difficult to understand, but with the help Jesus provides, it can become very easy. So easy, even a child can become his academic teacher's teacher.

I am just a no body, I cannot make myself a teacher.

Why that is the case, is because the best teachers take you from the basics - a foundation, and builds stone upon stone, until the building is completed.

Jesus is the Rock of my foundation. He said if I become a "Doer" of His Sayings, the house I build will stand in the storms and trials of my life. Shouldn't a man spend his time on this earth being diligent, pressing towards, Laboring to be acceptable to God? I'm not sure God's Needs more teachers than those HE already provided me. Shall a man lose patience with God in understanding difficult parts of His Word, and go seek to learn from someone else who may profess to know God?

That has never worked out for man, according to Scriptures and we are warned against this very thing over and over and over. When asked about the end times, Jesus could have warned about Islam, or Atheists, or satanism, or whatever. But HE didn't. He warned of ONE Specific religion.

Matt. 24: 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that "no man" deceive you.

5 For many shall come "in my name", saying, I (Jesus) am Christ; and "shall" deceive many.

My brother, please be careful of the teachers you choose to adopt. The deceiver of this world has had a lot of practice, and God gave His people "HIS Armor", and as you can see, there is no mention of any other teachers here, other that the ones God has already given.

I am so grateful for this discussion, and the fellowship as we share our understandings in the seeking of the Righteousness of God. Please let me answer your question in another post as this one is getting too long.

Purpose of "worship music"?

A little more humor from those of us more aligned with high churchmanship. Illustrative that different people want different things in church so maybe a variety of choice isn't always a bad thing. Also illustrative than in this decpiction it's the pastor who wants something else, but the music director who often calls the shots.

Israel and the New Covenant.

Yes the allegory of the two covenants, one came by flesh, what man did, like when Sarah took it upon herself to fill God's promise that He would make Abraham a great nation by conceiving a child with Hagar a bondwomen, versus allowing God do so by His promise through Sarah. The first covenant was based on the people doing Exo 19:8, verses the promise of what God will do Heb8:10. Why the NC is established on better promises Heb8:6
Hebrews 3:18-19
18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?

19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Acts 7:49
Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

Hebrews 4:4
For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

Trump sends troops to the 'warzone' of Portland...

I see. You don't care what the locals say, you just want every city in lockdown.
Forget "a chicken in every pot". Now it's "a military patrol at every crossroads".

There’s a Giant Flaw in Human History

Why would you cut it there, it clearly shows it only goes back to 1979. This borders on explicitly trying to misdirect the reader, peer-review is what is needed as this point.

Why we Christians still have to struggle with sins?

Through faith in Christ, His perfect righteousness is imputed to believers, not earned by our works but freely given as a gift of grace. Paul writes, “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous” (Romans 5:19). Just as Adam’s sin was imputed to all mankind, bringing condemnation, so Christ’s obedience is imputed to all who believe, bringing justification. This righteousness is not our own but is credited to us: “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith” (Philippians 3:9). In this way, God declares the believer righteous, clothing us with Christ’s obedience so that we stand faultless before Him.
Adams offence was brought to all, otherwise why did all men sin, they all sinned because sin was in the world, which came by God giving commandment and by man disobeying it. The wages of sin/disobedience/transgression, are death. The disobedience came by the serpents beguiling, that it was a good idea to do what God had forbidden, and that they would not die for it. Not only they did die for it, but also all died for the same lack of obedience to God. But Go gave a way out, and Abraham received the promises, and the promise of the Spirit ( with which we can obey God) came, and eventually the promise was fulfilled with the faaith of Christ, but took HIs life, body and blood to redeem us back to God, which was acceptable to God and we are to present our lives and bodies as sacrifice to God also, which ios our reasonable service.
