There is no Hell (Moved)

The well-known view of hell is that it is a place where people are tortured with full consciousness. But this view is biblically wrong and is the fatal consequence of wrong interpretation. The Bible makes it clear from the very beginning that hell is nothing other than eternal death. Eternal death means that one no longer exists and will never return to life.

Only the Book of Revelation speaks of a place of eternal torment. However, one cannot take the Book of Revelation, which is probably the most symbolic book, and ignore all other books where annihilationism is taught. The book of Revelation is full of metaphors and such passages should not be understood literally.

Jesus' words when he said, "Where the fire does not go out and their worm does not die" is also often used as evidence of eternal torment, although Jesus does not use the word torture here. However, these words of Jesus are easy to explain. What Jesus wanted to make clear with these words is that eternal death is a state that will never end.

The eternal death, or otherwise called the second death is the final punishment. The people who are thrown into the lake of fire will literally be burned into non-existence, like a piece of paper thrown into a fire. Revelation 21:8

Iran Morality Police ABOLISHED

Hi everyone, fantastic news! After several months of nationwide protests the Iranian government has buckled under the pressure and have just agreed to abolish the hated muslim morality police in the country! WOW!!! This is a major victory for human rights and also the gospel of Christ in the country, this is cause for celebration! With the morality police gone I believe Iranian woman can now choose not to wear the hijab (muslim head scarf) or burqua (total body covering) without fear of arrest! This is a major blow to the religious government in Iran, maybe after decades of theocratic muslim rule islam will start to loose it's grip on the country! Ye's Anti-semetic statements

This caught all over social media and left-wing news channels are having a hay-day on this. Republicans in support of Trump can more easily be branded as Nazi sympathizers who hate Jews.

Here is a Jewish anchormen who was deeply offended by this Black rapper's statements:

This is shameful. In Canada we have a day called Rememberance Day in November 11 that honors all of the dead war veterans. In the USA I'm sure you have Veterans day. I watched movies about wars all that month and I can tell you, both the footage and depiction of war during 1938-1945, or 1917-1918 that I saw, watching soldiers bleed to death in the battle field and choke in their own blood by a barrage of bullets, grenades, and arterial shelling from the enemies, often by surprize, and seeing their best friends die before their very eyes...war is an ugly business. To glorify the 20th centuries greatest warmongerer who lead millions to their death in WW2 is indefensible, unpatriotic and belittles the American and Canadian lives lost during WW2. Not to mention the Holocaust of many people, Jews, and even those who were true Christians who spoke against that reguime and were sent to concentration camps or death because of their beliefs. How can anyone say such a thing in this day and age?

Criminal attack (was Vandalism) Knocks out power to 40,000 in North Carolina; Jan 6 Protestor claims God was chastising county for drag show

Moore County authorities investigate vandalism that left thousands without power

A woman who vehemently and repeatedly protested a drag show scheduled in Southern Pines claims that deputies questioned her in regard to the mass power outages in the county, after she posted on social media that she knows why the outage happened.

Emily Grace Rainey, a former U.S. Army psychological operations officer [who resigned her commission in 2021 due to involvement in various protests, including Jan 6th] made several posts about it on social media, even saying in one post: “The power is out in Moore County and I know why."

After the power went out, Rainey posted a picture of the [darkened] marquee where the drag show was scheduled to take place, claiming that God was "chastising Moore County."

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields told WRAL News that the outage was being investigated as a "criminal occurrence," but he did not say specifically what was done to damage the substations or whether the sheriff's office has connected that vandalism to the drag show or any suspects.

Fields said evidence of vandalism was found at multiple substation sites on Saturday night, and that the vandalism appeared to be intentional.

State Supreme Court Reverses Lower Court, Hands Victory To Conservative Students In Free Speech Case

YAL is a “libertarian, classical liberal and conservative student activism organization,” according to their website. UAH student Joshua Greer filed a lawsuit in the Madison County Circuit Court on behalf of the organization against UAH and the UA system in response to the policy.

UAH’s policy states that students are allowed to protest, but not until they get clearance at least three days in advance, and they must get university approval before doing so.

Europe Tries Desperately To Rein In Elon Musk Because Free Speech Threatens The Regime’s Grip On Groupthink

Breton indicated that in order to prevent Twitter from being banned in Europe, the tech entrepreneur will have to part ways with his “arbitrary” approach to reinstating the accounts of people previously banned from the platform. Musk must also surrender the platform to an “extensive independent audit” by 2023. Reportedly, Breton told Musk that the platform must “reinforce content moderation” and “aggressively” root out disinformation.

Musk doesn't strike me as the type of man who would stand down fron justice over Tyrannical threats.

I suppose that Europeans might have to take up VPNs like the Chinese, in order to get on Twitter to exercise free speech

Finding a job (and patience in waiting)

Hi there,

My name is Steve, and I'm new around here, so thanks for having me!

One thing you should know about me is that, although I've been a Christian for over half my life, I've just really struggled with asking people to pray for me. I don't really know why because it's not like I've had this really bad experience doing it before. It's more like, "Yeah, God. I'll pray for others, no problem. But when something is wrong in my life, if we could keep it between you and me, that'd be great."

Well, God, in his kindness, has decided to challenge me in that arrangement by allowing me to go through some things recently that have forced me to become more open about what I'm going through, and that's included bringing me to where I am now, which is joining you folks and asking for you to pray for me regarding a specific part of my life--finding a new job.

Long story short: I have a job. I'm thankful for that fact. But for the past year or so, I've really been feeling like I need to find something else. The company that I'm working for is very demanding. The job that I'm in is anywhere between overwhelming and downright soul crushing. I do appreciate the fact that it's a job, that it allows my family to eat and live indoors. But beyond that, I'm just really struggling to make any progress or feel like I'm making a difference for anyone. And so I'm just asking God to help me to find something that allows me to do more of what I'm good at and less of what I'm bad at, and to be able to live and work at a more sustainable pace than I am right now.

Now, there is some good news in all of this. I've been having a handful of interviews over the past few months, and some of them have seemingly gone quite well. Unfortunately, I've also gotten quite a few, "Thanks for interviewing, however..." emails and phone calls.

At the moment, I have two roles that I'm interviewing for. Both seem like they'd be really neat opportunities, and both, I believe, would allow me to do more of what I'm good at and less of what I'm bad at.

I'd love for you all to pray for me that 1. I'd be patient in this process, and that I'd continue to trust that God knows what he's doing in my life at all times, and 2. that if one of these opportunities is the right one for me, one of them would materialize with a job offer even as soon as this week. (And I know that I don't need to rush this, but I really would love to have it resolved sooner than later.)

Thank you all for your prayers. I appreciate it! And I'll keep you posted on where things go with these opportunities.

Global Anti-Hijab Protests

Hi everyone, I just discovered this on YouTube, this is amazing! Muslim women all over the world are burning their headscarves in the street after the death of the Iranian woman in police custody in Iran! Something big may be happening in the spirit world! The ayatollah in Iran may be about to go down, so far he is holding on to power by military force but it is only a matter of time before something happens to him! If he orders the military to open fire on the protesters they may refuse to obey and turn on him!

Abiding in Christ and Following Him

Whoever Follows Him
John 8:12 ESV

“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life.’”

Jesus Christ is God and he is the only begotten Son of God. He left his throne in heaven, came to the earth, was born as a baby to a human mother, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and he lived on this earth as fully God and fully man, only without sin. While on the earth he fed the hungry, healed the sick and afflicted, raised the dead, gave sight to the blind, and he preached repentance (the forsaking of our sins) and love and obedience to our Lord as necessary components of believing faith which saves.

Jesus Christ did not teach that we could just acknowledge faith in him and thus we are now saved, done deal, and heaven is guaranteed us when we die regardless of how we live on this earth. He taught progressive salvation. He taught that we must walk in the light as he is in the light and that we must not walk in darkness or we don’t have eternal life in him. And he taught that we must die with him to sin daily and walk with him in obedience, for if we hold on to our lives of living in sin and for self we will lose them for eternity. But if we die with him to our old lives we will live.

For when Jesus said that he is the light of the world he was speaking of truth, righteousness, holiness, uprightness, moral purity, and the like. For he was absolutely perfect, without sin, and thus he could be the sacrifice for our sins once and for all. But the light is also a guide to lead us in the way that we should go, and so he was saying here that if we follow him in walking with him in the light (holiness and righteousness) and in obedience to him and to his ways, we will not walk in darkness (see Gal 5:16-21; 1 Jn 1:5-10), and darkness is sin. So, if we obey our Lord we won’t walk in sin.

And then we will have the light of life, which is life in Christ, which is eternal life in him, which is salvation from sin. For, you see, Jesus Christ and his New Testament apostles did not teach a one-time decision to believe in Jesus Christ, that it would save us from our sins for eternity regardless of how we live on this earth. Now they did not teach that we have to live in sinless perfection or we are not saved, but they all taught that we must walk (in conduct, in practice) in obedience to our Lord, in holiness and in righteousness, and not in sin, or we do not have eternal life with God.

[Isaiah 53:1-12; Matt 4:17; Matt 7:21-23; Matt 11:20-21; Matt 12:41; Matt 21:28-31; Matt 26:26-29; Mk 1:14-15; Lu 5:32; Lu 9:23-26; Lu 13:1-5; Lu 15:2-7; Lu 17:25; Lu 24:45-47; Jn 1:1-36; Jn 6:35-58; Jn 8:24-58; Jn 10:27-33; Jn 14:15-24; Jn 15:1-11; Jn 20:28-29; Rom 5:8; Rom 6:1-23; Rom 8:1-14; Rom 9:5; 1 Co 6:19-20; 1 Co 11:23-32; 1 Co 15:1-8; 2 Co 5:15,21; Eph 4:17-24; Php 2:5-11; Col 2:9; Tit 2:11-14; Heb 1:8-9; Heb 2:14-15; Heb 4:15; Heb 10:23-31; Heb 12:1-2; 1 Pet 2:24; 2 Pet 1:1]

Whoever Abides in Him
John 8:31-32 ESV

“So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, ‘If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’”

Now, to abide in Christ is to live in him, and it is to continue in him, to walk in his ways and in his truth, to do what he says, to comply with him and to follow him and to keep (obey) his commandments (New Covenant). And it is to continue in this obeying and following him and sticking to the truths of his word and agreeing with him and accepting what he says we are to do and how we are to live and doing it. And the Scriptures teach that we must continue in this way until the very end in order to have eternal life with God.

[Matt 7:21-23; Lu 9:23-26; Jn 8:31-32; Jn 15:1-12; Rom 8:24; Rom 11:17-24; Rom 13:11; 1 Co 1:18; 1 Co 15:1-2; Gal 5:16-21; Col 1:21-23; Col 3:5-11; 2 Tim 1:8-9; 2 Tim 2:10-13; Heb 3:6,14-15; Heb 9:28; 1 Pet 1:5; 2 Pet 1:5-11; 2 Pet 2:20-22; 1 Jn 1:5-10; 1 Jn 2:3-6;24-25; 1 Jn 3:4-10]

And Jesus said here that we must abide in his word if we are to be his disciples. And there is no division between believer and disciple. For if we truly believe in Jesus with God-given faith, as the Scriptures define belief, then we are his disciples. For belief in Jesus is not just an acknowledgement of what he did for us on that cross or a mere acceptance mentally or emotionally of the salvation he provided for us. Biblical faith in Jesus Christ is obedience and it involves daily dying with Christ to sin. And that is what it means to be a disciple. It means we follow him in obedience.

But as we read further on down in this passage we see that the Jews belief in Jesus was not genuine belief, for he ended up telling them that their father was not God the Father but their father was the devil. For if God was their Father they would love Jesus and to love Jesus is to obey him. For if we say that we love him but we don’t obey him, then we don’t love him and we don’t know him and one day we will hear him say, “I never knew you! Depart from me you workers of lawlessness!” (Matt 7:21-23)

So, don’t get caught up in the false gospel that many are teaching today which says you can “believe” (not defined) in Jesus, have your sins forgiven, and have heaven guaranteed you when you die regardless of how you live your lives on this earth. Yes, Jesus does not demand sinless perfection. But he does “draw a line in the sand” which says that if we walk (in conduct, in practice) according to our flesh, in sin, and if sin is our habit, and if righteousness, holiness, and obedience to our Lord are not our practice, we will not inherit eternal life with God regardless of what our lips profess.

[Lu 9:23-26; Jn 8:51; Jn 14:15-24; Jn 15:10; Matt 7:21-23; 1 Jn 2:3-6,15-17; 1 Jn 3:4-10,24; 1 Jn 5:2-3; 2 Jn 1:6; Rom 2:6-8; Rom 6:1-23; Rom 8:1-14; Rom 12:1-2; Tit 2:11-14; Heb 5:9; 1 Pet 1:1-2; Jas 1:21-25; 1 Co 10:1-22; 2 Co 5:10; Heb 3:1-19; Heb 4:1-13; Heb 10:23-31; Php 2:12-13; Jn 10:27-30; Acts 5:32; Gal 5:16-21; Gal 6:7-8; Eph 5:3-6; Col 3:5-11]

Make Me a Blessing

Ira Bishop Wilson / George Schuler

Out in the highways and byways of life,
Many are weary and sad;
Carry the sunshine where darkness is rife,
Making the sorrowing glad.

Tell the sweet story of Christ and His love,
Tell of His pow’r to forgive;
Others will trust Him if only you prove
True, every moment you live.

Give as ’twas given to you in your need,
Love as the Master loved you;
Be to the helpless a helper indeed,
Unto your mission be true.

Make me a blessing, make me a blessing,
Out of my life may Jesus shine;
Make me a blessing, O Savior, I pray,
Make me a blessing to someone today.

Why am I such a dusty window
For your light to shine through?
Why am I just a tiny star
In a sky already blue?
Why do I offer everything
With my heart closed like a fist?
I want to love You better than this
Why do I live like I'm in chains
When You have set me free?
And why do I have to break Your heart
Before I fall to my knees?
I know it's time to pray for change
Give all I have to give
I want to love You better than this
So renew me
Remake me
Undo me
Unbreak me
Come into the empty spaces
Of my broken places
And consume me
Complete me
Pursue me
Redeem me
Let Your Holy Spirit living through me
Renew me
I need Your power to renew me, Lord, yeah
I need to know You're moving through me, Lord
I need You as my refuge
My first and last resort
Be the river always running
Through my deepest thoughts
Keep me in Your arms
'Cause even when I drift
I want to love You better than this
So renew me
Remake me
Undo me
Unbreak me
Come into the empty spaces
Of my broken places
And consume me
Complete me
Pursue me
Redeem me
Let Your Holy Spirit living through me
Renew me
My life bending to Your will
Seeking You until I'm more and more like You

Rep. Gaetz Wants to Change House Rules: Ban Campaign Donations From Lobbyists and PACs

House Representative Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) suggested implementing new House rules in the next Congress, including banning members from accepting campaign donations from federal lobbyists and federal PACs, proposals, he said, “we should work with Democrats on.”

Gaetz also suggested banning members of Congress for life from becoming lobbyists and trading individual stocks. His proposals were presented at a forum held Nov. 14 by Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) on conference rules for the incoming 118th Congress. His reasoning behind prohibiting members of Congress from accepting lobbyists’ campaign donations lies in the money involved, which “all has strings attached to it” and anybody who says otherwise is “lying,” said the Florida congressman.

HERE

Frankly I think Matt is a horrible person let lone horrible congressman, but I agree with him here. And so would the vast majority of "Democrats, for it's a argument they have been making years, specially since Citizens-vs-United. For example, me personally, I find it mind boggling so many politicians spouting patriotism and donning American flag pins, once they lose their seat run to become foreign country lobbyists hired to lobby the very committees they once served. Let's face it, our overall political system is tantamount to legalized bribery, the quid pro quo. As Matt mentions, get rid of that money and focus shifts from donor desires to what's good for their constitutes. (well, at least in theory). Nevermind why more of those in congress aren't stating the obvious, but why aren't voters making this obvious of what's wrong with American politics more of an issue? Or maybe that's a rhetorical question.

Oil Industry Executive Warns of Another ‘Major’ Crisis in the Coming Weeks

The head of the largest oil and natural gas trade association warned that failure to replenish the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) could trigger another oil crisis in the coming weeks.

“The Strategic Petroleum Reserve, unfortunately, has become the strategic political reserve. And we have grave concerns about how it has been so politicized. This is for emergency purposes, not to lower gasoline prices during a time during a political season,” American Petroleum Institute CEO Mike Sommers said in a Friday interview on Fox News.

Republicans and oil industry officials have said that Biden’s move to release oil from the SPR was designed to keep gas prices artificially low ahead of the Nov. 8 midterm elections. But they have argued that the long-term effects of the order may be devastating.

Airport visit saw many familiar faces, creeped me out

I drove a relative to the airport and had a meal inside one of its fastfood restaurants. I saw so many familiar faces from different nationalities, some were passengers and some were fight attendants. Over ten of them!

I've seen, come across them before, just can't remember when and where exactly.

I very rarely visited the airport, only traveled on a plane a few times in my life and don't really socialize much. In fact, I don't like socializing so I avoid it if I can.

So seeing over ten familiar faces in one small restaurant in one small international airport within 30 minutes. That's over ten people from different walks of life I've somehow come across over the years some from other countries, all meeting in the same place in such astronomically small time frame. That counts as incredibly uncanny and for me exceptionally creepy. What's going on?

Salvation and Baptism of the Holy Spirit

I remember when I first became involved with witnessing and street ministry that we were taught to lead people into the Baptism of the Holy Spirit right after they prayed the prayer of salvation. From tears of repentance to praying in tongues.

It was very effective, but at some point I got away from the practice.

Was anyone else taught the same? If so, did you see similar results?

It was a real season of discipleship and growth in our church.

Revelation 17:8 is a reference to Revelation 13:3. The head that was wounded isn't a person, it's a kingdom. It's the 7th head. Which is called in other passages of the book "the beast" (with the ten horns). The 7th Kingdom didn't exist before the 6th, it existed after, but was wounded, that means it lost his power and splited into at least 10 Nations, which are the 10 horns.

The Roman Empire cannot be the 7th head because it is the 6th. The 6th head belongs to a completely different beast/material, namely the leopard/bronze (3rd beast). The 7th head is the head of the 4th beast, so it is a completely different beast/material, with a completely different culture and language. The 3rd beast with the 4 heads was Macedonian, Ptolemaic, Seleucid and Roman. All 4 shared the same language and almost the same culture.

To find out who the 7th head is, we need to consider the 2 requirements it must have to be a head.
1. it must have destroyed the previous beast. The 1st beast was destroyed by the 2nd beast, the 2nd beast was destroyed by the 3rd beast. So the 4th beast must have destroyed the 3rd beast.
2. it must have conquered Israel. All six heads conquered Israel and that means the 7th kingdom must have done so.

With these 2 requirements, only 2 candidates remain. The Rashidun or Turkish Empire. The Rashidun Empire didn't destroy Roman Empire but it was the Empire that conquered Israel after the Romans. Turkish Empire conquered Israel and it destroyed the Roman Empire in 1453.

Both of these empires have fallen in the past, and both of these empires have divided into at least 10 nations. That means that one of these two empires will return.
