  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Love, Peace and Unity

Ephesians 4:1-3 ESV “I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” A...

The Word of Christ in You

Summary Colossians 3:1-11 We, as followers of Jesus, are to set our minds on things of the kingdom of heaven not on things of this earth, and not of our flesh. For we have died with Christ to sin and our lives are now hidden with Christ in God. Jesus is now our life, not the things of this...

    When Standard Anchor is Useless

For a Christian, obsessions and troubles can remove your focus and hold upon the Anchor of life, our Savior and Lord of us and the universe. Maybe similar to the disciples' anxious and terrified focus upon the raging storm while Jesus slept peaceably in the boat. No matter what grabs our focus...

    Poem about peace

In response to the current trouble and strife in the US and elsewhere I thought I would share this poem I came across in a BBC Radio 3 Words and Music programme by an Ulster poet I had never heard of before: “All Of These People” Written by Michael Longley Who was it who suggested that the...

    Stop sinning #2

    - If You are here reading me, its because you are in bondage within the typical cycle of "sinning and repenting" that most Christian live within, as their life also. If you really want to stop this vicious cycle, then you do it not by trying to stop, but by understanding why trying to stop is...

    A Great sinner

    - Simon a Pharisee once invited Jesus to dinner. Jesus accepted the invitation AS they were found discussing many topics...... a woman, defined by the KJV as a Great sinner, and in the "Now" Translation as a harlot/Prostitute.., came into the room were Jesus and Simon were reclining,.. as this is...

    Amazing Grace

What is "Amazing Grace"? Why did the believer write this incredible song? Its because they completely understood: The Cross. Its like this... God completed the entire process of Salvation, for each of the born again...by doing it Himself. = God's Grace. "God who began salvation in the born...

Hello everyone, I was having a very busy day at work one evening where we had multiple customers to serve at once. Let Grace be your home

    - The blood of Jesus keeps paying for sin.......Its an eternal Blood Atonement. It paid for thousands of people's sin today, (newly born again) just like it paid for the "sin of the World", 2000+ yrs ago. John 3:16 Eternal life, that is "in Christ" is not temporary. So, Jesus who Himself IS...

    God's Grace

    - The wonder of God's Grace, that many will never understand, is..... To be accepted by God, we have to be as Sinless as Christ. Otherwise, GOD can't have us, or take us. Listen.. We have to be of EQUAL RIGHTEOUSNESS To God, before we can go to heaven. This has to happen BEFORE WE DIE...

More Good News from the Cross

    - Let me tell you something interesting. If you are born again, then your sin, all of it, was paid for by "the FINISHED WORK of Jesus on the Cross". Romans 4:8= then confirms that any "sin" you would engage in, (work of the flesh) after you are saved, ... God does not charge you with...
