  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Christian living - help

Would appreciate advice from fellow Orthodox but other denominations are fine too :) I don't have children yet but my question is: What can you do when homeschooling is illegal in your country and you want your children to be guided through faith and morals? Schools take up so much time it's...

    Matthew 18 Children and Lost

Matthew 18:6-14 11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. The Lord has led me on a journey to sit in many churches in my life time and be under many bible studies. I seen the Words of God taught in all kinds of ways. There are so many churches and denominations right now...

    Matthew 18:1-6

Matthew 18:1-6 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall...

Matthew 8 14 And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever. 15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them. The first half of this chapter is all about healing and Who heals. The world left...

    Jonah 3 !!!Evacuation

I have been given a word from the Lord today and when it came , all I could think about was Jonah. Jonah would rather hide , run away or die than do what the Lord had told him to do . One of the things we over look sometimes about Nineveh is those people knew God before they lost their way or...

    Number 22 and Children

Communication is one of God's most fascinating creations. My moms dog was trying to tell her there was a young opossum in the house and my mom did not pay attention, she thought she was just barking. My mom said she will never ignore her again. Everything God created has a way to communicate...

    Obadiah and The Children

The Lord has given me a clear message today and I will do my best to share it. “It is all about the children,” that is the message. Today for the first time God had me think about why no children got on the Ark and why no children escaped Sodom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!That kinda freaked...

Trump says Migrant Children Are Not Innocent

Trump decries migrant children: 'They're not innocent' I am anti-illegal immigration, but I do believe that Trump's hardline stance really goes too far. There needs to be some nuance to his worldview, instead of the hammer. Evangelicals who do immigration should persuade Trump to be less harsh...

    A Drop in the Ocean

“I used to get scolded [by my] school teacher,” reflects Ashima, pictured above. “Sometime my teacher used to ask me to stand outside the class as punishment because I didn’t bring needed things like paper, books, pencil—whatever is needed in the class. I used to stand. I used to be punished...

Why are single moms wrong without knowing the situation?

I have noticed that when a Christian single mother asks how good Christian men feel about single mothers, often times it is assumed that the single mother made a "mistake" or was a "fornicator" in which conceived the child out of wedlock....this seems to be assumed almost always from Christian...

    Issues starting a family

My husband and I are newly married, about three months now. Before we got married we discussed our goals and family expectations quite extensively. We were both 100% sure that we wanted to start a family as soon as we were married. A couple weeks after we got married he mentioned that he...

    Why Fathers Matter

In my last post, I said I would follow it up with ideas to bring fathers back into the equation of family life and thus the life of society. The following I believe is essential and you can put them in any order you want to. All these have come about from being involved in cultural issues in the...
