No but its the same attitude and assumption. What I am saying about advanced tech and knowledge is what the ancient cultures say themselves and about themselves. Including what they say are supernatural feats of their ancestors or the gods they say created such works.

Thats the reality and thats my point. You regard all of it no matter if it comes from scientists proposing such alternative ideas or the ancients themselves as nothing but fantasy as far as any of this actually happening or being a reality or being knowledge at all of reality.

In fact in some ways trying to restrict ancient cultures knowledge and ability to what modern material science wants to restrict this too is really offensive to the cultures who asked to be believed when it comes to their own testimony and truth of their stories. They actually state this when they say western sciences are ignorant to their ancient knowledge and secret disregard that knowledge.

The same as Christians. You don't believe a word said about the knowledge gained from belief in God. Its all make believe. Come on be truthful. Unless it can be verified empirically by methological naturalism or conform epistemically to material sciences its all pseudoscience.

You don't know to what extent ancients knowledge was influenced by their beliefs or worldviews. We do know that everything was seen through the prism of gods and spirits and transcedent realities. Who knows that this did not bring insights and knowledge that science cannot yet understand or never will.

And there is one other thing. A few, and fortunately ONLY a very few of the people there are just not friendly I avoid even speaking to them
I understand and observe that for some people, church is a weekly (or more) event and that for even some, it might be the center of their life
I understand that some extroverted types have cliques or circles of friends that they probably enjoy seeing every Sunday,

I do not fit into ANY of that. In fact, I have found it frustrating when people do NOT want to converse, or even acknowledge others, and as I mentioned before, I am not a fan of small talk.

Which is why I am limiting my time there as I can find other things to do on a Sunday morning which are personally much more fulfilling. And I doubt anyone there cares, if they did someone would have engaged me on this already

I was never drawn to the Episcopal church because of friends or people, although it was a roommate in college that suggested that it would be a good fit for me. What kept me always coming back was the aesthetics, the intellectualism and the chance to interact with more educated people. There are some highly educated people, some even more than myself at this church who will not even talk to me.
SO I have to remind myself each time I step in, that I am here for the inspiration, the beauty, the aesthetics, the message that the Priest gives which always seems to be short, to the point and relevant to life today. and always positive.
I am not there to socialize, to visit, to talk, and I have to remind myself sometimes that my best choice is to go in, sit quietly, then leave the same way I came in.
OF I want to do Charity work, which I find to be fulfilling, and I enjoy altruism as well, then there are organizations like homeless shelters, community food banks, community service organizations which seems to always be welcoming of help.

The composition date of Revelation could have been no earlier than late AD 59, and no later than early AD 60, just before the disastrous Laodicean earthquake in AD 60. A very narrow window of time.

I don't even criticize the faith of people on the left. You can counter specific beliefs - things that are seen as specific errors - but you don't attack people about their faith in God. It's too personal.

The word you are looking for is "president." Even when it comes to policies, can you honestly say there is not one policy from Trump that you agreed with? Not even the executive order preventing companies from selling your information causing you to get bombarded with spam after buying a home? Now, I am speaking for myself, but in my opinion, the criticisms of those who cannot or refuse to say one good thing about Trump cannot be taken seriously. Especially the democrats in congress who refused to celebrate a child's bravery while battling cancer.

Rather than you people ending up killing each other, I would rather see the USA split up.
Give all 50 states sovereignty in the matter and allow them to combine in any matter they wish.
You'll probably end up with AK and HI as independent states, a Pacific coast liberal state, a southern state, a northeastern liberal state and a landlocked mid-America.
