I gave you "THE WORD" not my words....and just as you said the flood covered all "the land".If that was the case He would have said so. In that case He would have said the world was flooded, not just "land." There's no way to parse one's way out of accepting that God did not say the world was flooded.
Indeed. This is the kind of thing that we often see from KJV-only people. Neglecting what the words actually mean in Hebrew leads one astray.
You gave me your revision of His words. As you learned, God didn't say that the flood was worldwide. Instead of "the world" (tevel) He said "the land" (erets). You might not realize that "erets" means an area, like "erets Israel" (the land of Israel). But there it is. Instead of relying on your own wishes, why not just accept God's word?
Don't be a scoffer; listen to Him.
As you should know that if you say there was a world wide flood - you are obviously just referring to the land of the world flooding.
God in his wisdom said the Land was flooding....not the world as we would say.
So you are correct...Noahs flood only flooded "the land" of the earth.
