I get that feeling when I think about how great my life is. It’s not exclusive to Christians.

Some of them did not believe, and tells them again that no man can come to the Son unless it was given to him of HIs Father. Many disciples of Jesus went away and did not walk with Him any more.

Jesus stood in the last day of the great feast, and declares to the children of Israel ( a better feast) that those who believe on the Son of God, as the scripture has said, out of HIs belly shall flow rivers of LIVING water. ( this Jesus spoke of the Spirit, which they who believe on Him would receive, the Holy Ghost to be given when Jesus was glorified.)

Jesus speaks to the Jews who believed on Him, for them to continue in HIs word, to be His disciples INDEED. ( for HIs flesh is meat INDEED, and His blood is drink INDEED.) To KNOW THE TRUTH, ( the truth is in Jesus/God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them. 2 Corinthians 5:19. Ephesians 4:21.) and the truth shall make them free.

Jesus tells the children of Israel how those who commit sin are the servants of sin. ( SERVANTS OF SIN IN THE LAW HAVE ANY MORALS ?) and if the Son shall make them free, ( to know the truth and the truth shall make you free/the truth is in Jesus/God in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself not imputing their trespasses unto them.) they shall be free INDEED. Jesus tells he children of Israel why they go about to kill Him, as His word has NO PLACE IN THEM.

Jesus tells the children of Israel that is God was their Father, they would LOVE the Son, for He proceeded forth and came from God, He did not come of Himself, the Father sent Him. ( TESTIFIED OF IN THEIR SCRIPTURES/GOD DECLARES THE END FROM THE BEGINNING.) But that they cannot understand HIs speech, as they CANNOT HEAR HIS WORD.

Jesus tells he children of Israel that they are of their father, which is the devil, a MURDERER from the beginning, speaking LIES, of his own as he is the father of LIES. ( NO MURDERER NO LIAR INTO NEW JERUSALEM REVELATION 21.) Because Jesus tells them the truth they do not believe. ( the truth which would set them free if they believed in the Son.) They did not hear Gods word because they are NOT OF GOD.

The children of Israel considered they see, but if they were blind Jesus tells them, they would have no sin, but their sin REMAINED.

He that is dead is freed from sin. ( the children of Israel also considered they lived, not that they were DEAD/they did not believe in Jesus to free them from sin.) Knowing/believing that Christ was raised from the DEAD, He dies no more, death has no more dominion over Him. ( sin shall not have dominion over them that are dead and freed from death, for they are not under the law, but under grace.) We yield our members/bodies as instruments of righteousness unto Go, as those that are ALIVE from the DEAD, with Christ, and DEAD unto sin.

We are to know ( unlike the children of Israel/those under the law who DO NOT KNOW.) that to who we yield ourselves servants to obey, his servants we are, which is sin unto DEATH, or obedience unto righteousness. When the doctrine of Christ is delivered and received, from the heart it is obeyed, to be made fee from sin, ( by the truth that is in Christ/reconciling and not imputing our trespasses) to BECOME SERVANTS OF RIGHTEOSNESS. Before the members/bodies are yielded servants to uncleanness to iniquity unto iniquity, and when anyone was a servant of sin they were FREE FROM RIGHTEOUSNESS. ( without MORALS in the law) NO FRUIT and ASHAMED, ( anyone who believes in the Son wont be ashamed.) and the end of those things is DEATH. The gift of God is eternal LIFE through our LORD Jesus Christ.

Moses who gave the LAW to the children of Israel in the wilderness, ALSO LIFTED UP THE SERPENT IN THE WILDERNESS. The Son of man was lifted up that whosoever believes in Him does not perish, but to have eternal life. ( THE ONES WHO BELIEVED GOD IN THE WILDERNESS WERE BITTTEN OF THE SERPENT ON THE POLE AND LIVED.) God loved the world so much He gave HIs only begotten Son, so whosoever believes on Him should not perish ( with the world) but have everlasting LIFE.

God sent His Son into the world, that the world through Him might be saved, not to condemn the world. He that believes on the Son of God is not condemned, but he that believes not on the Son IS CONDEMNED ALREADY, because he has NOT BELIEVED, in the name of the only begotten So of God.

The condemnation is that LIGHT is come into the WORLD, and the men who loved darkness rather than light, do so because their deeds are evil. Every one that does evil HATES THE LIGHT, NEITHER COMES TO THE LIGHT, that his deeds would be reproved, but men that do truth come to the LIGHT, for their deeds to be manifested, to be made in God.

Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour spoke as all judgment was committed from the Father to the Son, so all men gad to honour the Son even as they honour the Father, if they did not honour the Son it meant they did not honour God the Father. Hearing the word of the Son of God and believing on the Father who sent Him, is to not come into CONDEMNATION, but be passed from DEATH UNTO LIFE. The DEAD who HEAR the voice of the Son of God shall LIVE.




John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

The works that the Son was given by the Father to finish, bear witness of Him that the Father sent Him. The children of Israel never heard His voice at any time. ( they who hear the voice of the Son of man shall live.) they do not have Gods word abiding in them, for the Son who the Father sent to them, they do not believe in. The scriptures the children of Israel have confirm, in those scriptures they think they have eternal life, but the same scriptures testify of the Son, and they do not come to the Son that they may have LIFE.



John 5:36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

Jesus knew the children of Israel did NOT HAVE THE LOVE OF GOD IN THEM. The Son came in the Fathers name and they did NOT RECEIVE Him, but anyone who comes in their OWN NAME, they receive. One ACCUSES them for this, which is MOSES. The children of Israel, ( those under the LAW) trust in Moses, but DO NOT BELIEVE IN MOSES, for if they did believe they would have believed in the Son, Moses write of the Son. But the children of Israel DO NOT BELIEVE IN THE WRITINGS OF MOSES, so cannot believe in the Sons WORDS.


John 5:42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.
43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?
45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.

Jesus tells the children of Israel how MOSES, did not give them bread from heaven, but HIs Father gives the TRYE BREAD FROM HEAVEN, the Bread of God being He which came DOWN from heaven, and gives LIFE unto the world.

Jesus tells the children of Israel, He is the bread of LIFE, and how they who come to Him shall never hunger, and they who believe in Hm shall never thirst. ( the children of Israel hungered and thirsted in the wilderness, and fed them with manna, so they mght know that man will not live by bread/manna, alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, man shall LIVE. Remember they had never heard the Fathers voice at any time/those who hear the voice of the Son of God shall live. Deuteronomy 8:3.)

The children of Israel saw the Son of God but did not believe, and tells them that all that the Father gives to the Son shall COME TO HIM, and those who come to Him He will not cast out. The Fathers will who sent the Son is of all those the Father has given to the Son, should not be lost, but the Son should raise them again at the last day. The will of the Farther who sent the Son is that ever one who sees the Son and BELIEVES ON HIM, may have Everlasting LIFE, and the Son will raise them up at the last day.




Deuteronomy 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.

The throne was testified in Isaiah 16, to be established in mercy, ( grace through faith) and He sits in the tabernacle of David judging, seeking judgment and hasting righteousness. ( THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID THAT IS FALLEN, from its ruins to be SET UP, so the RESIDUE/remnant of men might seek after the Lord, all the GENTILES upon whom He name is CALLED/all the SINNERS of HIs people shall by by the SWORD, and God will RAISE UP, the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and RSISE UP, his ruins, that they may POSESS the REMNANT of Edom, and ALL THE HEATHEN upon whom HIs name is CALLED.

Eternal Life is therefore unachievable by human works. And that's what Sabbath Law represented, the need to stop human works at least one day out of the week to show the need to end human works at some point, to show that human works are contaminated and must end.

Eternal Life is achievable only by demonstrating good faith in Christ's exclusive work for our redemption. He alone was our atonement for sin. As such, despite our sin we are able to show by our faith in him that we truly live through him. If by our faith we show that we live in him, and he has Eternal Life, our choice to live in him obtains Eternal Life.

Hebrew slaves were more like indentured servants for debt or poverty, limited to six years of service before being freed, and they could not be ruled over ruthlessly.
Foreign slaves could be permanent property, but the laws still established a threshold of humanity and dignity that masters were obligated to uphold.

I can tell you why being physically fit is attractive and is not shallow - It tells other people that you don't mind working hard to achieve whatever goals you have which can include spiritual goals and being nice to other people.

Working hard towards physical fitness is more spiritual than working hard to get rich although both can communicate the idea that you work hard to achieve your goals. Money is inextricably linked with injustice that's why.

If exercise ever gets boring, starting to lose motivation, and tempted to get lazy at it, try doing another exercise. I personally went from cycling, then weight-lifting, and then running, and finally skating, running, and weight-lifting. Losing motivation a serious concern for people trying to stay fit. Switch it up and try other forms of exercise. The more fun, the better.

Christ death results in the salvation of those He died for, so much so, He is called the Captain of their Salvation Heb 2:10

10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Mine you, this is in the context of having tasted death for every man in Vs 9. Through and by His death, or His suffering unto death, He became the Captain of their Salvation, through tasting[experiencing] death. Now the word captain is the greek word archēgos and means:

the author, that by which anything begins to be, the origin, the active cause

So by His sufferings, tasting death, He became the originator, the active cause, Captain of their Salvation. It was by this means the Father ordained many sons to Glory.

BTW the word captain is the same word author in Heb 12:2

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Christ is the author/source of our Faith. This would include the OT Saints that went before in Heb 11 as well. Christ their Mediator was the source of their faith. 4

Homeless people in the countries I know:

• usually are burdened with more than one type of shortcomings (physical, mental, etc.)
• for Bible study the required attention span sometimes is difficult
• discussion/questions can be sensitive and can easily derail
• because of the common load of mental issues there is very little empathy and patience
• once some become believers they require a lot attention and care

But yet - God loves them as much as anyone else. In growing churches usually a certain balance is needed between believers with stable lives and the capacity to give/organise, and those that primarily need to receive a lot to heal. Not all churches are internally ready to host/welcome homeless believers in their fellowship (thinking of The Visit (Adrian Plass), 1999). They're usually the opposite of the ones who are welcomed because they can easily grow into leadership and pastoral roles, or contribute financially.

They're the ones young, modern and trendy churches find too difficult - but be blessed in your ministry ! Jesus also visited the outcasts more so than the elite.

Not really. Abraham was not saved by his works instead he was saved by his faith. Even though Abraham resisted circumcision he did it eventually because of his love for God. It’s a great teaching for us now. We keep His commandments and cooperate with God in our sanctification because we love God.

I've actually lost a debate on one topic with both gpt-4o and gpt-5 and still never won the topic yet.

Indeed the topic is deeply shocking. It's about the possibility that Jesus is a false teacher or an evil conspirator undermining the Torah or the teachings of God.

The outcome of this debate is rather shocking. Gpt 4o and 5 both concluded that Jesus is genuine as a person who once lived (not made up) and had genuinely benevolent intentions towards humanity..... But concluded that the God of Old Testament is counterfeit or even the Devil himself.

I even set boundaries for this debate that God meant well for humanity. But chatgpt concluded the warlike aggression of OT God would ultimately lead to its own destruction, along with nations walking this warpath.

I did not have this debate with Google Gemini but so far, all controversial Christian topics I discussed with it aligns with Gpt-4o/5. I may do this debate eventually with gemini as I build more context with the new and improved context memory of gemini.

I've often discussed secular / non-religious battlefield strategy, foreign diplomacy with chatgpt and it managed to correlate God's behavior with the negative outcomes of having war-like sentiments.

For retirement homes they U.S. does take some of the money, then if the person runs out they can get purely government funds minus their social security. Some cities the government funded places are horrible or the decent ones have no space. I was suggesting that after a certain age, the US govt should take money for most types of care if the person can afford it. Since older people (85?) get far more than someone who dies even before they collect a cent this seems reasonable.
