Alright, you want me to support it with scripture? All we have to do is look at the scripture in question and put on our critical thinking caps. It's not hard.
Matthew 27
51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split 52 and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. 53 They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and[e] went into the holy city and appeared to many people.
54 When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”
Nowhere does it say these people were transformed and went to heaven, so we can't assume that's what happened. Let's see what it actually does say.
1. It says they "appeared to many people", which means they stayed on earth after they came to life.
2. It says that "their bodies were raised to life", which means they did not get new spiritual bodies as would be required for them to go to heaven.
3. It says that the centurion and those guarding Jesus "saw all that had happened" which means they witnessed these resurrected people go into the city, which means it was the city on earth, not in heaven.
So there you have three very strong clues to indicate that they stayed on earth and not a single clue that they went to heaven, so please stop using this event as any kind of proof for some supposed future rapture because this proves nothing of the sort.
Alright, you want me to support it with scripture?
Do you understand big-bold-red-letters written in English?
Lastseven,
Why don't you prove those people that were resurrected 2000 years ago in Matthew 27:50-53 roamed the earth as walking deads if you refuse to believe they went to heaven.

I'm not asking you to give your interpretation of what Matthew 27:50-53 means.
It would be nice if you understood the things you read and not make so much errors.
1. It says they "appeared to many people", which means they stayed on earth after they came to life.
That's your argument? Because they appeared to many, it has to be earth?

Your thinking is obviously flawed. How many angels do you think are in heaven? One!?
It would be nice if you understood the things you read and not make so much errors.
2. It says that "their bodies were raised to life", which means they did not get new spiritual bodies as would be required for them to go to heaven.
More knucklehead logic filled with flaws.
So you're saying if the dead are resurrected, they can only be alive if they stay on earth but if they're resurrected and appeared in heaven, they stay dead?
Oh yeah that's sound concrete evidence they stayed on earth because the bible didn't say they received a spiritul body either. Just assume they all recieved an earthly physical body even though the bible doesn't mentioned that either.
The type of body you get depends on where you end up, earth or heaven. 99.9999999% of all people raised from the dead went to heaven. The only exception the bible mentioned was Lazarus.
If the bible can document just one person: Lazarus living on earth after his resurrection, why can't you find a single verse about a large group of people resurrected in Matthew 27:50-53 living on earth too?
It would be nice if you understood the things you read and not make so much errors.
3. It says that the centurion and those guarding Jesus "saw all that had happened" which means they witnessed these resurrected people go into the city, which means it was the city on earth, not in heaven.
Matthew 27:50-54 New King James Version (NKJV)
50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. 51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, 52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
54 So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God!”
More flaws and assumptions. You sure draw many imaginations from reading just a few word:
"saw the earthquake and the things that had happened."
Oh your evidence is so sound and concrete. Can you also tell us the day and hour of the rapture in that single verse too?
It would be nice if you understood the things you read and not make so much errors.

Do you think for once you can actually prove those people resurrected in Matthew 27:50-53 lived on earth after their resurrection?
