Hoping it heals quickly!

Probably will take a good week or two to fully recover. Taking medication helps. Usually, I shy away from any type of medication... but this time I'm giving it a try.

Not too much. Luckily, it's not my dominate hand... I can still get around day to day.. but I try not to use that hand when I can.. makes me more grateful when I can use both. I cannot imagine what disabled people go through.

These days I try to be more grateful about things and try to look on the bright side. Sounds corny.. but considering how I lived my life in the past.. this new road does intrigue me.

You know, that early 1970's era, with all the lead in it. That was great.

I agree. Sometimes a little sediment but it held up well.

True but also engines had to have their valves ground because of it more often, plugs changed every 10,000 and oil every 1000 thanks to lead.. The life of an engine back then was 120-150 thousand miles but today without lead we are looking at double that, plugs 40,000 minimum and oil 5-6000 minimum..

Nope, I was born with no sense of smell.. so I've never smelled anything. Out of all the smells.. I'm most curious about the smell of gasoline. Lol.

That would make sense, then. I was wondering how someone in our world had managed to avoid ever being near enough to smell it!

I find the smell of petrol very unpleasant, almost nauseating.

I smelled gas in house one day & we called fire dept

turns out husband had put some gas in his car in garage/ spilled a couple drops
the smell got in house & I thought we had a gas leak

not one but 2 fire trucks came!

Was thinking first of smells, petrol is harsh and sharp.

Diesel is oily, fatty and friendly compared.

My preference any day of the week.
