It gives me an instant headache. That would make sense, then. I was wondering how someone in our world had managed to avoid ever being near enough to smell it!
I find the smell of petrol very unpleasant, almost nauseating.

I always manage to drip some gasoline out on the pavement. Even a few drops smells strong? It depends. Usually not very, but if you drip outside the car, then it can be very strong.
Better get used to sniffing ozone as electric takes over

Can you smell electricity? Like when you put something into an outlet, and you see a little spark?
It can be, yeah.
Technically what you're smelling there is not the electricity, but the ozone formed when the electric charge acts on oxygen molecules. Ozone has quite a sharp smell.
Interesting... do people smell things constantly? Sounds so bombarding, lol.

Sorry, I forgot that about you. I wouldn't have brought up smell. But, do you have to be extra careful about how long you keep fresh meats in the fridge? Like, if I have meat for a questionable number of days, I rely mainly on smell to tell if it's still good. I could rely on sight, but it's always way gone by the time it turns greenish-gray, lol.Nope, I was born with no sense of smell.. so I've never smelled anything. Out of all the smells.. I'm most curious about the smell of gasoline. Lol.
Yep. I've had my demons to battle. Went from gas to diesel, then jet fuel, then when I hit rock bottom I was going to shabby parts of town to meet Elon Musk for my rocket fuel.Careful. Those street fuels can lead to much harder substances.

No, but I've heard that horses can smell electricity. Don't know if that's good science or a myth. Can you smell electricity? Like when you put something into an outlet, and you see a little spark?

I have some important thoughts which are currently on my mind, but I need to walk the dog. While I walk I'll try to flesh out the thoughts. I'll get back to you.Interesting... do people smell things constantly? Sounds so bombarding, lol.
Sorry, I was unable to flesh out my thoughts, probably because I don't know what "flesh out" means. But I will say this - ask any human which of their five senses they'd choose to lose if they had to lose one, and they'd say smell. Not that big of a deal. If you were a dog it would be huge, but you're not. Plus there's a lot of bad smells you don't have to deal with. It's kinda like what Norm MacDonald said about diseases: of all the diseases, if you've got alcoholism, you've got the best one.Interesting... do people smell things constantly? Sounds so bombarding, lol.
