You might need to get it looked at.

I'll get it looked at if it still is bad tomorrow... honestly, I think it's just swollen. I can move everything.

Well the swelling is not a good sign. I hope it improves.

My whole arm is throbbing... glad it was the right one.

Slowly getting better.. kind of hurts to type.

Heard a wet bandage soothes, just what I heard a long time ago.

Yeah, it's getting better though. The swelling isn't super bad. At least compared to what I've faced in the past.

I do appreciate the concern though. :)

Of course I’d be concerned! :)

Dang hope my animal crossing village will be ok with me gone for a day. Lol.

Sorry, need some humor in a time like this. I have insurance, but I really was worried an hour ago. Just wanted to come home and relax after a long day... :(

I'm trying to give myself a crash course in Bhutanese etiquette, since I have an unexpected meeting with Bhutanese community leaders this afternoon. Who knew there were so many different ways to bow?

There are about three in the Eastern churches (a bow, a profound bow and a prostration, or metanie), and in Catholicism even more due to curtsies and genuflections, which are additive to the Byzantine Rite varieties, however, I would expect Drukpa Buddhism would take bowing to an art.

As a fun conversation point for smalltalk, you might ask your Buhtanese colleagues about the flight into and out of Paro, which is considered to be one of the most thrilling and challenging in the world. Druk Air - Royal Bhutan Airways pilots and other flightcrews who operate into Paro regularly have to have special training and a license, whereas flightcrews from other airlines, for example, charter airlines that infrequently serve Paro have to have a guide pilot in the flight deck who acts as something like a navigator, helping the pilots manage the challenging mountainous Himalayan terrain and configure their aircraft for landing.

Druk Air has a very good safety record, since they fly the route all the time using modern Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft, and mastery of a route like that is mainly experience. There was an incident last summer where a 737 flying a humanitarian relief flight got into trouble and had a seriously unstable approach (any time you hear “bank angle” and “too low, terrain” is sub-optimal as airline pilots might express it), but the aircraft did land safely regardless.

The views on the flight however are amazing. If you enjoy flying, Druk Air to Bhutan is a safe and special experience.

Please come back and let us know how it all went. Sounds really interesting.

Speaking of which.. how is hubby and furnace? (in either order)
Furnace is fixed. Hubby is getting better by the day. Not as sore and urinating without blood. So that’s a relief. He has some tests and an ultrasound to go to in about 6 weeks to make sure all is well. It’s been one thing after another for months. Hoping it smoother sailing from here on out. Thanks for asking. :)

Sorry to hear about that. Does he have cancer?

Went through something similar with my father, I know how emotionally taxing it can be.

No he had a bad bout with kidney stones. My stepdad has esophageal cancer and is going through chemo right now to slow it down.
