today is even worse...another day at the beach...my mom told me today that she talked to the nurse that is checking on my father, they don't think he is going to make it to to weekend...everybody has been freaking out on me because I'm not emotional about it...saying awful things to me...I'm just not having a good month.

Hi everyone

/me plops down on a beanbag ... I'm too tired atm.

I got my first result back for one of my subjects which was extremely high. At least one thing in my life is going well. I have been really sick with bad thoughts and my T really challenged them today. I just feel drained.

Can i just sleep ?

Lindz, no one can tell you how you're supposed to feel about anything. You're not doing anything wrong and the fact that anyone would make you feel guilty for not feeling emotional toward someone who was abusive toward you is the one in the wrong here. You have enough to deal with and shouldn't have to worry about what other people are thinking about your "lack of emotion" here. It's alright to take care of yourself first.

I'm praying for you sweetie!!

Katey snuggles upin the big armchair by the fire with a nice steaming mug of hot chocolate, with marshmellows chocolate sprinkle and cream.

its tiring being out of hospital, i dont think i've done this much in a while. and its all wet and horrible outside.

I'm doing okay, Katey. What's so tiring about it? just having to be responsible for everything that you do and not having to be watched all of the time? That's what I think would get me... like when I was in hos, it was comforting to know that if I did something stupid someone would find out and take care of me. But when I got home, it was different; I knew all of the loopholes, I knew where I could get away with things. Talk about stressful!!

I'm doing okay. I think we're going to go see the fifth Harry Potter movie this afternoon with my neighbor's daughter, who also happens to be my fourth bridesmaid. That should be fun. I'm just trying to find out the movie times and their website is NOT being cooperative!! :-(

yeah thats probably why, plus theres not much you can do on a ward thats basically a square lol! its just like you said ni kno if n e thing happend or i felt bad in hsopital theres alwasy sum# there all the time, but at home theres not and its harder trying to not do soemthing that you really want to do. if that makes sense.

plus i went a bit mad with my running aswell havent done much while in hospital only wen i'd been alowed out for like half an hour and i had # member of staff actualyl offer to escort me for a run because they wanted to go for a run to. there a big park next to the hopspital which is where i normally do my running so was ok.

are there n eof those scones left they sound rather nice

Hey everyone! I'm back!!! I have just spent the last week coaching at a rowing camp... it was fun i guess in a way... except very very tiring because the day would start at five in the morning and we wouldnt get to bed until about ten at night... and we had about four sessions of exercise in that time (i only did one though because the other times i was in a dingy along beside the rowing boat coaching) it was pretty full on... i pushed the girls i was coaching quite hard and by the end of the week their hand were covered in blisters (thats normal)
and because i was so cold all week and with the early mornings and lack of sleep, i now have a cold... so not feeling too good...

Aww, I think EVERYONE needs a snuggle. Sounds like stuff is going pretty depressing for all of us. But we can do okay... remember that life isn't always going to be like "this", whatever your particular "this" is. (Capiche?) It'll be okay. And no, that is not a platitude - that is what I honestly believe.

Bec, exam anxiety is not something to be ashamed about. Rather, could you talk with your psych about prescribing some antianxiety meds for you? I'm on two and they really help a lot with social anxiety/generalised anxiety. I think that would be the best and safest way to go, beautiful.

I saw the fifth Harry Potter movie on our afternoon outing on the rowing camp with the girls (rowers on the camp)... i liked it but was a bit disappointed at the same time... i think because i only just read the book I was aware of every single little bit the missed out...

but i still liked it...
