CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Pray for me for I continue in great despondency. Things are not at all right. I haven't any solutions. It seems like I don't really even have the capability to communicate. I assume there is something horribly wrong with me.

Thank you for continued prayers. It's very early in the morning here and I am filled with confusion so that I can't sleep. It's been a long time since I wasn't confused. I don't have time to sort things out. I don't have much of anyone to talk to that I can talk to to sort things out. A few members here have been good to me and talked to me, but I don't have time and only really confusion.

I find that I have just gotten weirder than normal, and am facing some struggles in life and work, so please, in your kindness, pray for me if you are willing. I’m going to take a break from the forums and from Facebook for now. Blessed Lent to all.
