I also want to ask for the sake of a dear older couple in our parish - they are like parents to me - their son who was in remission was just told his cancer has returned and very aggressively. His name is Elias. My heart breaks for them. Prayers much appreciated.

Sadly my daughter recently admitted to playing with a ouija board. She's also been depressed lately. I'm a bit worried about her and the whole family for that matter. I'm the only one who converted to orthodoxy and they have no interest in religion. Tough place to be right now.

I have done terrible things (nothing illegal so don't worry). But truly terrible. My heart is full of pain and there is no one who can understand. If I had one wish it would be for me to be erased from eternity and for those I have hurt to be healed, not just comforter but healed. While you may not wish to pray for my erasure, please pray for those I have wronged.

It went well, the ball is in my court. I was offered. Now I go home, talk to my wife and decide. It's an 'extra' job, not a major career move but in a very select occupation.
