Very frustrating

Praying for your son, NIrelandGillian, for healing from post shingles neuralgia, and from the pain. Praying for strength and free from the disease and any pain. Praying for mp's husband Peter, after the chemo treatment and radiation treatment. Praying for his healing and strength. Continuing to pray for Bro. Tom for healing, the chemo treatments, and for strength.

Thank you for your prayers, faithinlilfe. That diagnosis I gave was incorrect. My son actually has sciatic nerve pain and is now on medication for it. He was receiving physiotherapy and had been given some exercises to do but any further appointments have had to be cancelled and he has been put back on the waiting list.

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

I'd appreciate prayer for Marius, whom we've prayed for before. He is a Christian, but the lockdown means that he and his family won't be able to go to Church. I don't know what arrangements they have, but would you please pray for them that they continue to grow in the Lord. English is their second language, so they may not be able to read the Bible. Please would you also pray for their income as they won't be able to work in the lockdown. Thank you.

I haven't been on GE much this week, as it has been very hectic, but I've prayed for the prayer requests.

Dave, a neighbour of mine, will be 40 this week and I'm giving him a book about Christianity. He knows I'm a Christian, and I've prayed for him occasionally, but he hasn't yet shown much personal interest in it. It's more a matter of me giving him what I want him to have rather than what he might like, which I feel a bit bad about in some ways. However he likes reading non-fiction and the book is coming from an intellectual angle which I think would suit him. Please would you pray that it touches his life and that he comes to know the Lord. Many thanks.
