Every once in a while, well,... almost every once in a while, I cut an apple in half, remove the core, & fill it with peanut butter & eat it.

I never heard of doing that ^_^

Peant butter apples? I heard of peanut butter bananas and pickle sandwiches

I was actually curious because folks love them and actually had two of them, they were so bad at all^_^

Something cancels out another thing and it works somehow.

I never had one again (it never made that kind of impression) but it was so weird I had to try it, I can at least say I ate one of those.

I put peanut butter inside my dogs hollow bones, they love it lol

My sister told me about it when we were kids.

Another thing we do for a simple treat is toast a pice of bread, butter it up omn one side, pour sugar on it & dump off what doesn't stick to the butter. Now sprinkle as much cinnamon as you can stand, on top of it.

I like to keep things simple because I'm usualy havin' so much fun I forget to eat until I'm too hungry to do something complicated.

If only I could get my husband to have so much fun he says, please hon dont cook for me ^_^

Rick, my mom (who we lived with) didnt buy cookies when we were younger, thats what we ate, in fact in one place we didnt even have a toaster. So that was me and my sisters treat. Ours was soft bread (no toaster) with butter and sugar (but no cinnamon). We didnt know much different, worked well for us (then) but I think ew gross (now) ^_^

Your version is far more superior.

I thought Dawn cooked for you, not you for yourself?

Dawn cooks for me, but I'm far from helpless to me or her. It is generaly agreed around here that my touch with breakfast is the best, so I get stuck with that chore on Saturdays AND the Sundays that her brother doesn't have a family breakfast at his house.
But Dawn is in fact the resident Soup Goddess. Tonight she took a break & we had pasta with some of those vine -ripened Mexican tomatoes that they've been dumping on the US market for less than it cost to produce them. HA Ha! I love it. That is exactly how the U.S. wrecks their market & forces their farmers onto welfare or into por growing. And the Mexican vine-ripened tomatoes are far better than the gas ripened American tomatoes.

Dawn makes what I call "Sudetenland Soup". It is a classic German Potatoe Soup, but I talked her into adding fried slices of Kielbasa (Polish). Totaly awesome.

I sure dont get the markets, but how sad

Both you and my husband do weekend breakfast's. Not that he has your special touch, just that I sleep in longer then him and he cant wait. He thinks he'll starve waiting for me (lol).

So he knows how to crack an egg and turn up the heat under it ^_^

That cute, Dawn's your Soup goddess ^_^
