Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Why are they hiding from the wrath of the Lamb, if the Lamb is still in heaven?
When is the day of the Lamb's wrath? (See 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10, 2 Peter 3:10, Revelation 11:18)
.
Because that's not when Jesus descends upon the earth. At the second coming, when Jesus does come to earth, the kings of the earth have gathered to make war against Him. (Revelation 19:19)
But at the 6th Seal, the kings of the earth are hiding and afraid. (Revelation 6:15-16).
Revelation 19:17-19 King James Version (KJV)
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
At the 6th Seal, the kings of the earth are hiding and afraid.
Revelation 6:15-16 King James Version (KJV)
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
Revelation 6:12-17 and Matthew 24:29-30 are not the same event. When Jesus does come to earth, the kings of the earth and it's armies are assembled for war against Christ at Armageddon, not hiding under rocks.
.
You're not understanding what the bible is describing in Revelation 6:12-17 and Matthew 24:29-30. You're listening to this video too much. Two different verses with the same words: sun, moon and stars does not make them parallel passages.
Parallel passages or not? Lets just conclude they're all talking about the same thing because the wording looks similar in all the verses below.
Ecclesiastes 12:2
While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:
Isaiah 13:10
For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
Jeremiah 31:35
Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is his name:
Ezekiel 32:7
And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.
