Nice try. LOL You have an enormous immigrant problem in Germany. Would you send your Kinder into their neighborhoods, soliciting money? It is not much different here with the division both Parties keep pushing between Blacks and Whites.I like how you immediately went for "they should have stayed in their part of the town".
We actually do. And it is getting worse by the day.You mean they dare report on the poor woman who pulled a gun on some kids selling stuff for school exposing her racism?
It's so bad that you have to rush online to apologize for her racist actions as only natural given the state of the media she watched?
Yeah, sounds like we have a real "liberal media" problem here.
We actually do. And it is getting worse by the day.
Her neighbors stated that it’s perfectly normal for students to go door to door raising money for their various extracurricular activities during this time of year and have done so for decades without staring down the barrel of a gun.
I will repeat the obvious. Turn on your TV, and try to honestly report what you see fed to you nightly. It is largely Black violence. And anyone being honest would admit that.
No one has defended her erratic actions... I have merely explained how she likely got so fearful and reactive. It seems like you simply don't like people being called out on their actions.
This woman was arrested for her inappropriate actions. I think it's a good object lesson in people needing to seek other ways to deal with their inappropriate fear of black people file.
Your assessment that the soliciting is simply not done is also incorrect.

The reaction of this particular woman was inappropriate, stupid, wrong, and very uncommon. The idea that we have to be so paranoid because of the TV that we would literally pull a gun on some teenagers as they solicit for school activities is also ridiculous.
Again, she has the option here of simply not answering her door. It's what rational human beings have done for millennia to solve the "people I don't know are at my door" problem.
No one has defended her erratic actions... I have merely explained how she likely got so fearful and reactive.
I am not defending the actions of any individuals, Black or White. I am simply saying we (both Whites and Blacks) are being "played" by the political powers that keep driving a wedge between us.
Not really pertinent to the issue discussed in this thread, so I'm not going to chase this red hering.Nice try. LOL You have an enormous immigrant problem in Germany. Would you send your Kinder into their neighborhoods, soliciting money?
I think I said, "honestly." Yes, the liberal news media is almost exclusively responsible for propagating Al and Jessie's race dividing propoganda. It sells! And it makes the "leaders" money.
Undoubtedly, this didn't happen in a Black neighborhood. Why were they in that neighborhood instead of where they play ball, and would have been better received?
I like how you immediately went for "they should have stayed in their part of the town".
I don't think such a rule existed in this case, so I'm not sure why you bring it up.I did exactly that as a building manager for 16 units.

I appreciate honesty like this, instead of people acting as though they are "righteously" blind to everything going on in the world around them.I did exactly that as a building manager for 16 units.

Explain the point of leaving your own neighborhood to go somewhere else to try and get donations. It happens here at Halloween. I've watched whole vans of Black kids being let off in White neighborhoods they have never even set foot in before because they think the Trick-or-Treating will be more lucrative there.Their rhetoric is divisive...I'll give you that.
However, it's equally divisive when this sort of "conservative tribalism" kicks in where people are doing all sorts of mental gymnastics to try to justify actions like pointing a gun at school kids for door-to-door fundraising efforts.
The fact that we still have people who claim to feel sincerely threatened by "someone who doesn't look like me walking around in my neighborhood" actually plays more into validating the notion that racism is still a real issue in the US today. "Liberal Media" reporting on it has absolutely no bearing on the act itself. There is absolutely no way to honestly report that incident without the lady being in the wrong for her actions.
As to your other comment...that's an absolutely nonsensical attempt as a justification. I think you know better... Promoting the idea that "black people should just stay in their own neighborhood if they don't want white people to get scared and point guns at them" is basically only a few short steps away from promoting segregation.
I'd say that is your good right, and I'd propably do things in a similiar way. And if this woman had just done such a thing instead of pulling a gun on them, this story would never have reached our eyes.I wouldn’t open the door to four men and I’m a woman of color. I don’t answer for strangers of any hue. Entering someone’s private space seeking handouts is not a good practice.
Does it have to be said yet again? No one is saying this lady did right. We, or at least "I", am just saying I can fully understand ANYONE, Black or White, reacting that way if the televised programing propaganda has effected them to that extent.I'd say that is your good right, and I'd propably do things in a similiar way.
