In the original gospel, salvation was by faith and the responsibility that comes with sonship with God, living a decided life, a whole souled commitment to seek and do the will of God in the totality of life here and hereafter. You mean believing HIS WORD and PROMISE justifies us and that our faith in HIM as savior and lord will bear fruit to HIS GLORY?
Or do you mean that those who believe in
HIS SACRIFICE take the gift of GOD's mercy and grace as a free license to sin
which is what some accuse us of
Do we have to exalt our works as proof of our salvation before the eyes of men?
* Having shed the yoke of bondage to traditionalism, fasting and sacrifices, recognition of the saving truth that all men and women of the earth are in fact children of the living God, this "good news" produces a joy that becomes infectious to those around us.
"If religion is an opiate to the people, it is not the religion of Jesus."
