  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Can any of you as a believer in Jesus, and of the Father, describe how you love the Lord your God? Deu 6:5 And thou shall love the LORD thy God with all your heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy...

We don't need new theology, we need to show the love we've already been shown

Hi there, So I struggled a lot with this: what should my stance be, what should my religion be, am I bringing glory to Jesus or not? What I learned was, that God takes what He has already created and does something amazing with it. How? He takes what has already known love (as part of a family...

Why Are Masks Triggering Conflict and Rage?

In a similar way, face masks are tied to the political conflict over our response to the coronavirus. Those who lean left politically tend to see the virus as a more dire threat; those on the right are more likely to downplay its seriousness or compare it to less deadly strains like the flu...

How to recognize a real Teacher

Here is how God taught me to recognize the deceivers.... I asked God one afternoon, sitting on a porch swing, in the summer of 1991, that very question. I had for a while looked around and i noticed that there was a church on every corner, and none of them agreed with each other's "teaching"...
