What does the Bible say is the ultimate sign of a follower of Christ? "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." John 13:35
This short video illustrates what Jesus meant by saying, "If you love one another!" He was talking about our love for others to include our Brothers and Sisters in Christ and those who remain lost in this world. Therefore, in turn, those who are lost and outside the Body of Christ (the Church) will witness the true love of God being demonstrated by His children. Moreover, those witnessing this love will witness the difference between those who are truly in Christ (true followers) and those who simply make the claim (churchgoers). Many claim to be in Christ today, but are instead no more than religious pawns of today's institutionalized local church system where they practice their Christian Religion. They are those who, just as the Religious Jews who confronted Jesus, bear no true fruit as they are trapped by their own system. Therefore, we are called to follow Jesus and not today's many differing doctrines and practices that lead countless souls away from the kingdom and along the broad path that leads to destruction. Thus, if you are truly in Christ, know that the love of God will pour out of you unto others by the power of the Holy Spirit and you will bear much fruit as true followers of Christ!
