Hi Friends;
Can anyone here recommend to me a book, pamphlet or tract concerning the restorationist understanding of communion. I am specifically asking about celebration of the Lords Supper.
Thanks

I'm curious, how many here have read this collection of essays ('The Fundamentals' edited by Torrey)? Additionally how many who post here regularly have read the definition the board adopted of Fundamentalist in the sticky's?
I have read most of the essays I believe, and was part of the...
My friends let's start a fellowship thread.
Initially I was going to request examples of how each of us have been Christ to someone else this past week. However keeping in mind the principle of doing good works without bringing attention to ourselves let's make recommendations to each other...
There are a few issues that distinguish Fundamentalists from Evangelicals. While all Fundamentalists are Evangelical, not all Evangelicals are Fundamentalists. One (certainly not the only) of these issues is found in the following from our SOF which is from an earlier document.
Exposes and...
It's been a while since I've been regular here and there are many new names. I've been wondering it seems there are many here who have been teaching or debating that are not Fundamentalists. Why?
The scholarship of these essays is unquestionably supreme. This is an excellent buy and should be in any fundamentalists library. I am not associated with CBD in any way.

Is it possible to get a sub-forum on Fundamentalist Forum for people to ask questions or debate? Currently it is against forum rules for non fundamentalists to teach or debate on the Fundamentalist Forum. Of course this is largely being ignored. Would it be possible to initiate a...
My friends I have been away for a while from the internet in general. Let's make this forum once again a thriving exchange. I ask for prayers for my neighbor John as he is having some serious health issues.

I can't imagine how it must feel for health care professionals to return a person to health so that they can be executed.
Thoughts.

Besides for Scripture what is everybody reading right now?
I am reading "Hard to Believe" by John McArthur. Next up is "The Incomparable Christ" by John Stott.
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus' blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus' name.
On Christ the solid rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand.
All other ground is sinking sand
CHORUS
Whoa The Solid Rock
On Christ the solid rock I...
Well John came back here. He asked me to come back here. (not hard to do since we live next to each other) He told me that des was still here and Nadine and Dean and a few others. So my fundy friends what can we do here to make a difference? How can I help to make Fundamentalist Forum the...
Anyone here have a Summer Reading list?
I hope to read
"History of Christianity" Manschreck
"The History of Christian Thought" Jonathon Hill
A lot of Scripture and maybe J. Vernon McGee's "Through The Bible" series.
How many of us here have read "The Fudamentals?" This is the set of essays originally collected and set to missionaries, pastors, SS. Superintendents, etc.
It is now available in a two volume set from CBD, found here.
Recently another thread made me start to think about the place of Tradition amongst Fundamentalists. I know we have some Baptists here, some Anglicans, I think some Presbyterians.
I would like to ask what place does Tradition play in your Church's formation of doctrine and do you feel that...
