In the beginning God did create man in a heaven. It was named the Garden of Eden. Man chose to obey God's enemy instead of God, thereby putting the whole of the human race on a well deserved road to "spiritual prison".

The number one purpose we are here on earth is to make the decision "will I chose God and His way or will I reject God and His way. His way of course is through Jesus.

God is acquiring a family with which eternity will be enjoyed. All evil will be destroyed. :)

We are here to Glorify God. God will prove to the heavens that the lesser (us) will choose to follow Him. Greater being angels. Lucifer before the fall was given a place called the Garden of Eden in heaven. He was cast out when unrightiousness was found in him, a third followed. Earth was Lucifers new home, then The Spirit of God came and began to create the oceans, mountains, all living things. Then enter man. Lucifer was'nt real happy about man invading his home. Read Genesis again you will find there were two trees. There is a direct connection between Adam and the tree of life, Jesus Christ and the cross. It is amazing!

You cannot choce God He calls you.

John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw (Gk(drag) him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw (Gk(drag) all men unto me.

1670 helkuo (hel-koo'-o);or helko (hel'-ko); probably akin to 138; to drag (literally or figuratively):

Lucifer is not the Devil.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable. Those of us who fell in love with Christ who were not predestined will burn in hell. Thanks for the encouragement. The first verse I learned as a child was John 3:16. I'm sure your aware. Poor children in town would gather at the YMCA and sing and learn how much God loves them. So I guess some of those children who followed Jesus and trusted Him wasted there time, and will be thrown into the lake of fire? Are you trying to tell me that God created those children to see Gods love of Christ on the cross and say nah, sorry you can look , learn, trust, and dream, but because you were not predestined off to the lake of fire for you. Does that accurately describe Gods nature of love found in John 3:16?

Several people have mentioned Satan's and Adam's fall. There is an interesting passage in Eph 3 that connects to the reason why we are left here on earth.

8To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ,

9and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things; 10so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.

and another

1 Pet 1:12

It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven--things into which angels long to look.

and Eph 6 11Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Some people live life in the world, the kingdom of darkness according to the course of the world or the worlds way of thinking. A world ruled over by Satan because Adam abdicated his rulership and responsibility at the fall and took the whole human race with him.

When the believer lives in his new nature, the Christ like nature, obedient to God he demonstrates to the 'rulers and authorities in heavenly places' and to people God's right to rule. The believers obedience brings glory to God.

God calls on them. We're all predestined..and I truely believe that. God said once that we all have to be born again, meaning somewhere in our life we will turn away from our old ways and come to God. Repent you sins.
And when you truely accept Jesus Christ as your savior, you good to go. Regardless, God does love his people.

If God wants us to go to heaven one day to live for eternity, why do we have to go through this life on earth then?

Why do so many people have to live in poverty and hardship on earth, why didn’t God simply create us in heaven where there are no evil, pain and suffering

All the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, but He does according to His will in the Host of heaven and among the inhabitants of earth; and no one can ward off His hand or say to Him, "What hast Thou done" (Daniel 4:35).

The Lord made from one, every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times, and the boundaries of their habitation...for in Him we live and move and are [have our being] (Acts 17:26-28).

The time is coming to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and see God’s glory. All mankind [lit., flesh] will come to bow down before Him (Isaiah 66:18,23).

He is God, and there is no other. He has sworn by Himself, the word has gone forth from His mouth in righteousness and will not turn back, that to Him every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance (Isaiah 45:22,23).

God works all things after the counsel of His will (Ephesians 1:11).

The grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men (Titus 2:11).

It was the Father's good pleasure for all the fulness to dwell in Christ, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven (Colossians 1:19-20).

He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy (Titus 3:5).

All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; But the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him (Isaiah 53:6).

The Lord of hosts has sworn saying, "Surely, just as I have intended so it has happened, and just as I have planned so it will stand (Isaiah 14:24).

All nations whom the Lord hast made shall come and worship before Him; and they shall glorify His name (Psalms 86:9).

I've heard from preachers that earth is a training ground. And those that "pass" (accept Jesus, have faith, are saved, born again, etc) will rule and reign (as in govern, I think) over the universe with Jesus in heaven.

If anyone knows what I'm talking about I'd really appreciate it if someone knew the biblical support for this. I'm sure it is legitimate I just haven't found the biblical passages about this. Please help, thanks.

It does sound as if you are refering to the first ressurection here.....

We have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially [Greek: "malista" = most of all, not “only”] of believers (1 Timothy 4:10).

Note the inference in the word to.... especially....in regards to believers.
