CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes. There are points in the first video where there is an obvious convex curvature, and points where there is even concave curvature. How would that be possible if the video had not been altered?

Personally I don't, but the evidence is that many people do. Look at those who trust the Church - that has been caught in fraud many times yet people still trust it. Weird, huh?

This isn't a result of post video manipulation, it's a result of the lens being used. You will see the same effect on numerous SpaceX launch videos as well as the Tesla Roadster footage.

That's your claim. Mine is that the video has been altered. Since your claim relies on physics to be correct and mine relies on conspiracy and vested interests I win.

Those videos have been altered to remove the curvature.
Well, that was easy
The apparent curvature depends greatly on the focal length of the camera lens used. I have seen vids of horizons from space or near space that actually bend from convex to concave.

So you're unhappy to deny physics? The obvious question, then, is why do you do it?
Two obvious points to make here:
1. I said that I don't believe, not that I don't accept. There's a very important difference in meaning.
2. There is more than one theory of gravitation. Which one are you referring to?
