Probably not in our lifetime, but billionaires will certainly be looking into it. Have you heard of the dearMoon project? On Wikipedia it states:

That's the other problem with these things. The other reason we haven't gone back to the moon is because of politics. Some presidents will cancel things and ruin the plans of a previous administration and there isn't agreement on how to spend the funds. People's overreaction to covid was definitely part of the problem with all of its restrictions and lockdowns and putting people out of business.

I think it goes back to prophecy. We know that the Bible speaks for itself because countless prophecies came to pass. In that sense it makes the Bible self-authenticating. I call them differences not errors or apparent contradictions not contradictions. When it is carefully looked into it can usually be understood why they exist.

I do not understand your reasoning. If you admit that Jesus said "X" and a gospel says that Jesus said "Y", then it is a factual, historical, logical error.

Understanding "why this error exists" does not change its existence. Similarly, we can understand why the ancient Jews believed in a firmament, but it is still a scientific error.

Because I know the Bible.
A false teacher is someone who preaches a different/another Gospel - for example, "good deeds get you to heaven, it doesn't matter what you believe about Jesus". Or Jesus wasn't God, he was only a man. Or "it doesn't matter if you don't believe that Jesus was raised from the dead". Or "God has chosen to save only a few; you might be lucky."
Notice, all of those involve Jesus. Jesus IS the Good News.
Yes, the whole world and everything that we have and can see was created through and for Jesus. But the shape of the planet does not matter and does not add to or affect salvation. Nor does it change who Jesus was.
A born-again Christian preaches that the Earth is a globe? Fantastic.
A born-again preacher preaches the Gospel but mentions, in passing, that the earth is probably disc-shaped? Ok, that might prevent a few non-Christians from listening - if he can't get earthly things correct, why should they listen when he speaks of heavenly things? But if the preacher has preached Jesus, he has preached the true Gospel.
A born-again preacher says the Earth is hexagonal/triangular/banana-shaped? Again, non-Christians might find that a bit weird, but as long as the preacher has taught Jesus, John 14:6 etc, he has not preached a false Gospel.

But here's the thing, I could be wrong. Don't take my word on it. On Luke's use of "man" some commentators suggest that in the original Greek context, "man" in Luke 5:20 might have come across more like "friend," or that Luke is simply identifying the man as an adult. I could not tell you for sure. But like I said, I'm not willing to so easily write it off as an "error". I think it is unwise because it deserves much study before we can say for sure.
