That's the part I was clarifying. . .not all mankind are his people, only those in Christ are his people.Why did you quote my post and then repeat a little part of it?
Which victims are "these" victims? If you are still talking about the so-called victims who were paraded at political events (exploitation) why would any non-MAGA applaud them? They are not heroes, just unfortunate. The non-Magadonians support actual victims by authorizing and funding FEMA, Medicaid, cancer research, etc. - iow, actual useful material support.Nope, not a single Democrat showed support for these victims. What Democrat did?
Pure vague, unsupported bunkum. Also a personal attack and many ad homs.You are spreading propaganda that you are hearing from left wing media and lying Democrats. It's the Trump hatred.
Yes he did. I listen to some Greek Orthodox on line and they say death is a blessing, even for the non Christian because its an end to sin.He did us a favor. Who would want to live forever in this fallen state?

Might as well have Kim Jong Il advise you on democracy.I'd advise Christians not to learn Big Bang Theory and Evolution from Christian apologists.
Amen!Alabado sea Dios en Cristo Jesús!
Interesting article. My question is that if the level of decentralization you talk about occurred, do you think it could lead to thousands of micro-states that would war with one another over borders, resources, and ideology? How could you prevent this?
Interesting story. That fact that they could have been is biblically sound, as you stated. You never know.Some decades ago I was walking through some downtown Cincinnati streets with my baby on a back carrier.
I saw a blind man and his blind wife getting off of a bus. As they stood there on the street some people would look at them curiously, but everybody just went on by to their busy activities.
But I was not in a hurry. I don’t remember what I said to the couple, but I did invite them to go with me on a stroll around downtown Cincinnati. The highlight was when we came to Fountain Square. That is a place that has big statues with streams of waters flowing from them to a pool below.
I had the couple place their hands over the statues as much as they wanted. After awhile I led them back to their bus stop.
I was watching a video recently about Angels, and something occurred to me. The couple had neither a cane nor a guide dog. On reflection, it seems kind of, well crazy, of them to land in downtown Cincinnati on a busy day with no dog and no cane and nobody to help them. Except me as it turned out.
Maybe they were just very brave and wacky people. Maybe the Lord told them to go there and that he would take care of them. Whatever. I’m just wondering if maybe they were angels as we are told that sometimes we entertain angels unaware.
Something becomes and idol when it takes precedence over God. That doesn't mean that because you enjoy something that it is an idol. The Bible states in Corinthians 10:31: "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." You can listen to music, eat, drink, etc. and do it with a thankfulness and reverence of God.I have an issue of being a weak minded Christian and it causes a lot of issues with one of them being feeling like a lot of things are sinful and to be honest i wondered if my weak mind is the reason why i struggle with my salvation. Right now I just wanted to relax and watch something on Spotify but I'm hesitant because of the thought that it's idolatry. I will admit I do struggle with idolatry like all other sins but I'm curious what actually is considered an idol? Like when does it cross the threshold of something in your life like enjoying food to idolizing food or enjoying entertainment to idolizing it? Thanks.
Here's one example of why you don't want to mess around with astrology of any kind. Even if you know celestial bodies have nothing to do with determining your future, you still don't want to be drawn into it.Chinese traditional culture contains many things about astrology. As a native Chinese, I inevitably come into contact with these things. Today, I had a sudden idea and tried to use the traditional "Bazi fortune telling" to calculate Hitler's fortune (I'm not sure if my expression is correct). The information I searched showed that Hitler's birth date was April 20, 1889 at 18:30. I switched to the Chinese lunar calendar and combined it together. Through a series of calculations (I will omit this part, which is not the focus), I learned that Hitler had a difficult early life, but his career went smoothly in middle age, and he had great changes in his later years. He also had artistic talent, acted impulsively, and was particularly eloquent. He had lofty aspirations, and had the possibility of working in the government (and was very suitable). Previously, I also used these calculations to determine the fate of myself and my family, but I just treated it as a joke. However, today I have come to understand what description is rather than speculation. This sparked my curiosity, and I really want to continue to delve deeper into traditional Chinese astrology. However, as a Christian, I absolutely cannot take them as real. I feel very embarrassed. Please give me some advice
以赛亚书 47:13–14(和合本 CUV):"You are wearied with your many counsels;
let them stand forth and save you,
those who divide the heavens,
who gaze at the stars,
who at the new moons make known
what shall come upon you.
Behold, they are like stubble;
the fire consumes them..."

Hi @Tor0 ,
I understand that you are trying to help, but the Prayer Wall is for prayer and not the best place to offer advice. If you want to offer spiritual advice to members to help them, I suggest visiting the Requests for Christian Advice forum and responding to members who are actually looking for advice there. You’re doing okay, just be respectful of what people are asking for. Thanks!

On the danger of small sins by Thomas Case
While our hearts are warmed with prosperity, we think many times small sins can do no great harm; but herein we do wofully deceive ourselves. For besides that the least sin hath the nature of sin in it, as the least drop of poison is poison; and that in smaller sins there is the greater contempt of God, inasmuch as we stand out with God for a trifle, (as we count it,) and venture his displeasure for a little sensual satisfaction.
I say, besides these and many other considerations, which may render our small sins great provocations, this is one unspeakable mischief, that small sins intercept our communion with God, as much as great sins, and sometimes more. For whereas great sins by making deep wounds upon conscience, make the soul go bleeding to the throne of grace, and there to mourn and lament, and never to give God rest, till he gives rest to the soul, and by a fresh sprinkling of the blood of Christ, to recover peace and communion with God.
Smaller sins not impressing such horror upon the conscience, are swallowed in silence with less regret, and so do insensibly alienate and estrange the heart from Jesus Christ. The least hair casts its shadow; a barley-corn laid upon the sight of the eye will keep out the light of the sun, as well as a mountain. The eye of the soul must be kept very clear that will see God: “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God,” Matt. v. 8. Little sins, though they do not disturb reason so much as great sins, yet they defile conscience, and the conscience under defilement (unlamented) is shy of God, and God shy of it.

RealAccording to Thomism, are the Divine attributes real or nominal?
Short answer: Yes.Does Reformed theology teach that Christ's body is now in Heaven only?
I have done the same. I was a singer, a voice and music major in college, and we sang the hymns in our weekly gatherings of the church, but oftentimes I was just singing and not really taking in the words. I loved/love the harmonies in the old hymns. Sometimes I was worshiping the Lord and really singing the words from my heart, based in the truth of where I was spiritually in my own life, and other times I was just singing because I loved to sing. I lost my singing voice about 5 years ago - it comes and it goes - so I don't sing as much as I used to. I do pay much more attention to words now, and if the words are biblically sound, which many today are not, then I sing them from my heart, a heart committed to the Lord.Yes I agree. Before I was converted, I had been brought up in the Church of England, and sang from boyhood in the church choir. Each service included the singing of at least one Psalm, so over the years I got to know the psalms fairly well, but I certainly wasn't worshipping when I sang them. I was merely parroting the words.
