  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Teacher verbally attacks student for MAGA hat, calls Trump supporters 'fake Christians'

School board president says 'we need to pray' for teachers unions

School officials in Southern California are investigating an incident involving a high school teacher who lashed out at a student for wearing a MAGA hat and referred to Christians as a "bunch of losers" in a video that emerged in the days after former President Donald Trump was elected to a second term.

Video of the rant initially went viral Sunday. A male teacher, later identified as Chino Valley High School English teacher and girls' golf coach Clyde Colinco, is heard harassing a student for wearing a Trump hat before demanding he leave the classroom.

The teacher is heard saying, "A child molester, huh? Vote for that freaking rapist. I have a daughter, three nieces, and he'd rape them, and people are voting for him. Christians are voting for him, bunch of losers. Fake Christians."

Continued below.
I think this is telling that Christianity is mentioned as the aim of attacks. I reaslly think underneath all the differences its really a battle between progressive ideology and Christianity.

Thats why some progressives go straight to Christainity and not upbringing, mental illness, individual bad behaviour or environment like they do in for the oppressed minorities.

Its really about progressives being their own gods and not being told what to do or have any restrictions on behaviour especially from a moral truth or Lawgiver such as God. The true aim of their hate is God.

Gee another appointee they don't like. How shocking.
I mean, we're not likely to have much to say about the ones that don't really bother us, like Rubio, Noem, Burgum, Collins, or Slotnick.

Miracles

Miracles
Nicodemus Sees Jesus as a Teacher

Joh 3:2 The same (Nicodemus) came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we (rulers of the Jews) know that you are a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that you do, except God be with him.

Hab 2:18 What profits the graven image that the maker thereof has graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusts therein, to make dumb idols?

Rom 2:20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which has the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.

1Ti 2:7 Where unto I (Paul) am ordained (1) a preacher, (2) and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) (3) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith (believing acceptance) and verity (truth).

A Great Multitude

Joh 6:2 And a great multitude followed him (Jesus), because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.

Mat 14:14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.

Rev 7:9 After this I (John) beheld, and, lo, a great multitude (gap saints), which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood (position) before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms (glorious victory) in their hands

Rev 19:6 And I (John) heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thundering, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigns (singularity).

Division of the Jews

Joh 9:16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keeps not the sabbath day (the law). Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them (two groups).

Exo 8:23 And I will put a division between my (God) people and your people: to morrow shall this sign be.

Luk 12:51 Suppose you that I (Jesus) am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division (Matt 10:34):

Joh 9:6 When he (Jesus) had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,

Chief Priests and Pharisees Plot against Jesus

Joh 11:47 Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we (seeking a plan to dispose of Jesus)? for this man (Jesus) does many miracles.

Mat 8:28-31And when he (Jesus) was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. Mat 8:29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with you, Jesus, you Son of God? are you come hither to torment us before the time? Mat 8:30 And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding. Mat 8:31 So the devils besought him, saying, if you cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine. Mat 8:32 And he said unto them, go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.

Mat 21:23-27 And when he (Jesus) was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, by what authority do you these things? and who gave you this authority? Mat 21:24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if you tell me, I (Jesus) in likewise will tell you (chief priests and the elders) by what authority I do these things. Mat 21:25 The baptism of John, whence, was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, if we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did you not then believe him? Mat 21:26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet. Mat 21:27 And they answered Jesus, and said, we cannot tell. And he said unto them, neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

Luk 4:33-36 And in the synagogue, there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice, Luk 4:34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with you, you Jesus of Nazareth? are you come to destroy us? I know who you are; the Holy One of God. Luk 4:35 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold your peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not. Luk 4:36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he command the unclean spirits, and they come out.

Unsaved Rejecting Jesus

Joh 12:37 But though he (Jesus) had done so many miracles before them (Jews), yet they believed not on him:

Mar 16:14 Afterward he (Jesus) appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

Joh 6:64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

2Th 2:7-12 For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he who now lets will let, until he (Holy Spirit) be taken out of the way. 2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked (man of sin) be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth (telekinesis), and shall destroy with the brightness (glory) of his coming: Th 2:9 Even him (man of sin), whose coming is after the working of Satan (Rev 13:2) with all power and signs and lying wonders, 2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them (unsaved) that perish; because they received not the love of the truth (John 14:6), that they might be saved. 2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Stephen does Great Wonders and Miracles

Act 6:8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

Act 6:5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch

Act 15:12 Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.

Act 19:11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:

The Hearing of Faith

Gal 3:5 He (God) therefore that minister to you (Christians) the Spirit, and works miracles among you, does he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Rev 13:14 And (the false prophet) deceived them (unsaved) that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast (man of sin); saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast (man of sin), which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Rom 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

1Co 12:28 And God has set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

Heb 2:4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

Existing For God - Christian Blogging Coalition

Hello brethren. We're kicking off a new blogging coalition Existing For God. With this coalition we hope to remedy a two problems we see with many other "Christian"/Christian blogging coalitions. The problems are:

#1: Wishy Washy

Sadly many of these coalitions output wishy-washy, or even erroneous content. They have a low bar for quality.

#2: Disconnected

The other common problem is that the sites which aren't wishy washy just have you submit your post to them. They don't know you, you don't know them. For all they know the person submitting the post might be under church discipline, or be living in sin meritorious of such. They just can't know.

So What's The Solution:

Our planned solution to these two is (understandably) two fold. Firstly, we want to create a close knit group of brethren striving side-by-side for the sake of the gospel. Brethren who know one another.

Secondly we have rather extensive entry system you can view at this link, to (Lord willing) filter out as many goats as possible.

Call To Action:

And so, if any of you brethren have gifts in:

  • Writing
  • Video Creation
  • Marketing
  • Editing
  • Prayer and Encouragement
By all means join us! Brothers and sisters are welcome in different roles. Also, if you aren't sure if you have any of the above skills, but are willing to try, you are still very welcome. We cleave to no denominational line, but we do cleave to the scriptures.

Also, if you have questions, feel free to communicate with me in the private chat, or by email: Ben_Leevey@proton.me, or contact us through the site!

The meaning of 666 and its identity

The Roman Catholic Bible (Douay Rheims (Jesuit)) with notations and Roman Catholic Encyclopedia:

"... Four great beasts... Viz., the Chaldean, Persian, Grecian, and Roman empires. ..." - NEW ADVENT BIBLE: Daniel 7

"... Another little horn... This is commonly understood of Antichrist. ..." - NEW ADVENT BIBLE: Daniel 7

"... A ram... The empire of the Medes and Persians. ... ...A he goat... The empire of the Greeks, or Macedonians. Ibid. He touched not the ground... He conquered all before him, with so much rapidity, that he seemed rather to fly, than to walk upon the earth. -- Ibid. A notable horn... Alexander the Great. ..." - NEW ADVENT BIBLE: Daniel 8

"Daniel sees a ram with two horns (the Medes and the Persians) pushing victoriously towards the west, north and south, until it is struck by a he-goat (the Greeks) with a great horn (Alexander) between its eyes. This great horn is soon broken in its turn, and gives place to four others (the Greek kingdoms of Egypt, Syria, Macedonia, and Thrace), from one of which grows out a "little horn"..." - CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Book of Daniel - CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Book of Daniel
([Notation] … The little horn is usually identified with Antiochus Epiphanes (b.c. 176-164), the persecutor of the Machabees; but he was the eighth, not the tenth of his line, and the explanations given of the ‘three horns’ displaced by him seem curiously forced. …) and (The description of Antiochus Epiphanes is not particularly recognizable.) - HOLY BIBLE: Daniel 8

"... Few were more active in supporting Doctor Eck than Sylvester Mazzolini de Prierio, master of the sacred palace. He had just published a work in which he laid down that not only did the infallible decision of all controverted points belong to the pope alone, but that the papal dominion was the fifth monarchy prophesied by Daniel, and the only true monarchy; that the pope was the first of all ecclesiastical princes, the father of all secular rulers, the chief of the world, and, essentially, the world itself (218). In another writing, he affirmed that the pope is as much superior to the emperor, as gold is more precious than lead; that the pope may elect and depose both emperors and electors, establish and annul positive rights, and that the emperor, though backed by all the laws and nations of Christendom, cannot [193] decide the least thing against the pope’s will. Such was the voice that issued from the palace of the sovereign pontiff; such was the monstrous fiction which, combined with the scholastic doctrines, pretended to extinguish the dawning truth. If this fable had not been unmasked as it has been, and even by learned men in the Romish communion, there would have been neither true religion nor true history. The papacy is not only a lie in the face of the Bible; it is so even in the face of the annals of all nations. Thus the Reformation, by breaking its charm, emancipated not only the Church, but also kings and people. It has been said that the Reformation was a political work; in this sense it is true; but this is only a secondary sense. ..." - The History of the Reformation of the Sixteenth Century, by J. H. The Roman Catholic church calls herself the “mother and mistress of all Churches”, and she is their “Mother”, and not 'sister':

“The expression “Church of Rome”, it should be noted, though commonly applied by non-Catholics to the whole Catholic body, can only be used correctly in this secondary sense for the local diocese (or possibly the province) of Rome, mother and mistress of all Churches.” - Latin Church, Catholic Encyclopedia; CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Latin Church - CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Latin Church

“It must be always clear that the one, holy, catholic and apostolic universal church is not the sister, but the mother of all the churches.”, “It's evident that it would go against the faith to consider the [Catholic] church as 'one' way of salvation 'alongside' those represented by other religions.” - Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger [later Pope Benedict XVI]; Article “Other churches are no sisters of ours, the Vatican insists”, by Lloyd Rundle, Monday, 4 September 2000; Other churches are no sisters of ours, the Vatican insists - Europe, World - The Independent - Other churches are no sisters of ours, the Vatican insists

Roman Catholicism claims to have changed God's Law:

‘Pope’ Sylvester I - CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Pope Sylvester I

[Latin] “... XLV). ...” - Beati Rabani Mauri, Fuldensis Abbatis et Moguntini Archiepiscopi, de Clericorum Institutione, ad Heistulphum Archiepiscopum; Libri Tres. (Anno 819.) [Translated English] “... Pope Sylvester, first among the Romans, ordered that the names of the days [of the week], which they previously called after the name of their gods, that is, [the day] of the Sun, [the day] of the Moon, [the day] of Mars, [the day] of Mercury, [the day] of Jupiter, [the day] of Venus, [the day] of Saturn, they should call feriae thereafter, that is the first feria, the second feria, the third feria, the fourth feria, the fifth feria, the sixth feria, because that in the beginning of Genesis it is written that God said concerning each day: on the first, "Let there be light:; on the second, "Let there be a firmament"; on the third, "Let the earth bring forth verdure"; etc. But he [‘Pope’ Sylvester I] ordered [them] to call the Sabbath by the ancient term of the law, [to call] the first feria the "Lord's day," because on it the Lord rose [from the dead], Moreover, the same pope decreed that the rest of the Sabbath should be transferred rather to the [counterfeit] Lord's day [Sunday; the real “Lord’s day” (Revelation 1:10) is the 7th day the Sabbath of the LORD], in order that on that day we should rest from worldly works for the praise of God.7 ...” - Exactly Which Pope Changed The Sabbath To Sunday?

"... Now in the matter of Sabbath observance the Protestant rule of Faith is utterly unable to explain the substitution of the Christian Sunday for the Jewish Saturday. It has been changed. The Bible still teaches that the Sabbath or Saturday should be kept holy. There is no authority in the New Testament for the substitution of Sunday for Saturday. Surely it is an important matter. It stands there in the Bible as one of the Ten Commandments of God. There is no authority in the Bible for abrogating this Commandment, or for transferring its observance to another day of the week. For Catholics it is not the slightest difficulty. "All power is given Me in heaven and on earth; as the Father sent Me so I also send you," said our Divine Lord in giving His tremendous commission to His Apostles. "He that heareth you heareth Me." We have in the authoritative voice of the Church the voice of Christ Himself. The Church is above the Bible; and this transference of Sabbath observance to Sunday is proof positive of that fact. Deny the authority of the Church and you have no adequate or reasonable explanation or justification for the substitution of Sunday for Saturday in the Third - Protestant Fourth - Commandment of God. ..." - The Catholic Record of London, Saturday, September 1st, 1923 edition, Ontario, Canada, Volume XLV, #2342, appearing on page 4, section "Sabbath Observance", Column 2, -- Editor -- Rev. “...yet we find St. Cæsarius of Arles in the sixth century teaching that the holy Doctors of the Church had decreed that the whole glory of the Jewish Sabbath had been transferred to the Sunday, and that Christians must keep the Sunday holy in the same way as the Jews had been commanded to keep holy the Sabbath Day. … From the eight century the law began to be formulated as it exists at the present day, and the local councils forbade servile work, public buying and selling, pleading in the law courts, and the public and solemn taking of oaths. Like this from SOP..'The Sabbath was not for Israel merely, but for the world. It had been made known to man in Eden, and, like the other precepts of the Decalogue, it is of imperishable obligation. Of that law of which the fourth commandment forms a part, Christ declares, “Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in nowise pass from the law.” So long as the heavens and the earth endure, the Sabbath will continue as a sign of the Creator's power. And when Eden shall bloom on earth again, God's holy rest day will be honored by all beneath the sun. “From one Sabbath to another” the inhabitants of the glorified new earth shall go up “to worship before Me, saith the Lord.” Matthew 5:18; Isaiah 66:23. Chaos, Chaos

Chaos, chaos in our culture
While our leaders sit as vultures
Looking whom to prey upon,
Running in their marathon.

Evil, evil in their intent,
While they cook up lies they invent,
Masquerading righteousness,
They put people in duress.

Working, working toward a goal,
They see who that they can fool,
Trap them in their careful tricks,
Let’s see who will “pick up sticks”.

Evil Plots Against the Righteous

Psalms 37:12-15 ESV

“The wicked plots against the righteous
and gnashes his teeth at him,
but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he sees that his day is coming.
“The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows
to bring down the poor and needy,
to slay those whose way is upright;
their sword shall enter their own heart,
and their bows shall be broken.”

So, today (3/23/2023) I was on Facebook, which is a social media internet site, and on Facebook there are lots of advertisements you might have to scroll through just to find posts by your friends (or acquaintances, i.e. people you know). So today I kept getting ads for a play starring Richard Thomas (John boy from the Waltons TV show). And the name of the play is, “To Kill a Mockingbird.” Now I saw a movie by that title many years ago, dated 1962, starring Gregory Peck, I believe. But I don’t recall it very well.

But also today I was getting advertisements for another movie I had seen many years ago (I stopped watching movies in 2008, but I did watch this one again today). And this one is called “Twelve Angry Men” (1957). This one is about a teenage boy accused of murdering his father, and it is about a twelve man jury deciding guilt or innocence. Only one man thought there was reasonable doubt to convict the boy, so the whole movie was about him eventually convincing the other 11 jurors to vote not guilty.

But during the jurors’ deliberations, what came out was a lot of prejudice against people of different color and nationality and language and culture, etc. And some people were voting strictly because of that prejudice, and some just voted out of pure selfishness and/or intellectual snobbery, and some were making decisions based on their own emotions and hurts, etc. So there were a lot of emotions flying high. But what this did was really show the reality of how bad prejudice is, for it could have meant this boy’s death.

Now I read the plot summary of “To Kill a Mockingbird” because I did not remember that movie very well, but that is another movie about prejudice and about making false judgments of people based on the color of their skin or whatever, and all the hate that goes along with that. Well, the lawyer was able to prove that the people accusing a man of a crime had lied about what had happened, yet the court charged the man guilty anyway, probably because of his color, and that eventually resulted in that man’s death.

So, in one case, it resulted in the probable innocent going free, because the prosecution had not proved its case sufficiently, and because the supposed evidence was full of holes. But in the other case it resulted in the probable innocent being charged with the crime anyway, even though it had been proven that his accusers had lied. And it still resulted in his imprisonment and ultimate death. But both movies definitely showed how bad prejudice is regardless of who it is aimed at, and the hatred that is behind it all.

Well the same happens to those who are following Jesus Christ with their lives, who are walking in the ways of the Lord, although not necessarily in absolute perfection. But still they are not guilty of sinning against the Lord or against anyone else, not intentionally or habitually. And yet there will be those who hate the righteous just because they are living holy lives separate (unlike, different) from the world and because they are speaking the truth of the gospel and because they are calling out and are refuting Satan’s lies.

And they will hate the righteous because their own deeds are evil and the righteous’ deeds are good, in practice. And so they may plot evil against them in order to cause them harm or to have them falsely accused of crimes they did not commit, and to falsely imprison them, and even to kill them, like Cain killed his brother. And they may or may not get away with it in this life, and the innocent may be acquitted of the false accusations, or not, and the innocent may be put in jail or even killed for not doing what is wrong.

But the wicked will have their day in God’s court, and they will be accused by God, and he will charge them as guilty, and they will pay by spending eternity in hell, and not in heaven, unless they truly repent and turn to follow Jesus in obedience. But even if they do repent, God may still allow them to suffer in this life for the evil they did to his servants and messengers. But that is up to God, not up to us, regarding what happens to the guilty (the wicked), and even what happens to the innocent, but we should follow God's lead in how we should respond.

Anyway, prejudice in all its forms is a horrible thing. We should never hate anyone, and we should not hate other people just because they are not like us. Yet, this is not teaching that we are to be tolerant of sinful practices and lifestyles, but we can still love people and not love their sin. And the loving thing really is to speak the truth in love to others to let them know that if we hate others, and if we plot and carry out evil against others, but while we profess faith in Jesus Christ, we will not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Oh, to Be Like Thee, Blessed Redeemer

Lyrics by Thomas O. Chisholm, 1897
Music by W. J. Kirkpatrick, 1897

Oh, to be like Thee! blessèd Redeemer,
This is my constant longing and prayer;
Gladly I’ll forfeit all of earth’s treasures,
Jesus, Thy perfect likeness to wear.

Oh, to be like Thee! full of compassion,
Loving, forgiving, tender and kind,
Helping the helpless, cheering the fainting,
Seeking the wandering sinner to find.

O to be like Thee! lowly in spirit,
Holy and harmless, patient and brave;
Meekly enduring cruel reproaches,
Willing to suffer others to save.

O to be like Thee! while I am pleading,
Pour out Thy Spirit, fill with Thy love;
Make me a temple meet for Thy dwelling,
Fit me for life and Heaven above.

Oh, to be like Thee! Oh, to be like Thee,
Blessèd Redeemer, pure as Thou art;
Come in Thy sweetness, come in Thy fullness;
Stamp Thine own image deep on my heart.

Your Adversary the Devil

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen.” (1 Peter 5:6-11 ESV)

*This was written on October 31, 2024. The Lord has been having me write these devotions weeks ahead now.

As followers of Jesus Christ we are to be humble servants of the Lord who give God all the glory and praise for any good that he does in us and through us for his glory. We should never take credit for what we know was done in the power of the Holy Spirit and not in our own flesh. And we should not be people who exalt ourselves, but who are exalting the Lord Jesus and the good that he has done for us and is doing for us and through us. But we can give testimony to what God is doing in us and through us for his praise.

But humility goes beyond just giving God praise and glory. It also has to do with us submitting our lives to God’s will and purpose for our lives and us bowing before the Lord in surrender of our lives to him in walks of obedience to his commands, daily denying self and dying to sin, by his grace, in his power at work within us. No longer are we living to please self and the flesh, but now we are living to please our Lord. That does not make us perfect people, but lack of perfection is never to be used to excuse deliberate sin.

Now we live in troubled times on this earth. War is just about everywhere you look. Rebellion, lies, liars, manipulators of truth, deceivers, adulterers, and mischief makers abound. False teachers and preachers, false governments, false news media, the false church, and false gospels are prevalent all over the place. Fakery is everywhere. And anything can be faked and altered and photoshopped to make it look like one thing while it is another thing entirely. So we cannot even trust what we see with our eyes.

Honestly, in the USA, left and right politically are a mirage. And the mirage (the play) is put on by skilled actors who are out there to deceive as many people as they can, and to provide distractions so we don’t see what is happening “behind the curtain,” and in order to get the people of my nation fighting one against the other, even “Christians” against “Christians.” For the de facto government of the USA is a small group of the Elite of this world who are the ones truly running what is going on in the world presently.

And all of this is leading up to the rule of “The Beast” (of Revelation 13). All of this is heading us, the people of this world, into a one world order under a tyrannical one world government and religion (of the Beast). So please understand that Satan works through politicians, government heads, the news media, doctors, lawyers, preachers, pastors, and teachers of the Word of God, etc. And he disguises himself as an angel of light, and his servants masquerade themselves as servants of righteousness. So don’t be fooled!

Satan is not going to come after you looking like a red demon with a pitchfork in hand. He is going to come to you looking like one of the “good guys” (a hero) who is there to help you and to do good for you, and to rescue you from the “bad guys”. But just know that all this can be faked. That is why the Scriptures warn us against “wolves in sheep’s clothing,” i.e. those who play duplicitous roles in order to deceive the naïve and the gullible, and even some very smart (intelligent) people. Don’t be fooled!

I see a lot of people on social media (on the internet) just regurgitating one or the other particular political platform’s beliefs, practices, and sentiments. If it comes from that particular side (either side), they just repeat it as though it is fact. And a lot of what is repeated is meant to incite the other side and to get people at odds with one another. But as Christians we need to be testing these spirits in prayer and in the study of God’s word and in doing diligent research to make certain what we are believing is the truth.

Now I am going to say something here that is not going to gain me any popularity. But let me first state this. I believe very firmly that abortion of unborn babies is murder, which I wrote about 4 days ago. But I also believe that porn addiction is adultery, and so on and so forth. But only God can change people’s hearts on this subject. And voting in favor of abortion or against abortion is not necessarily going to change people’s hearts or their actions. So we need to be sharing the truth of the gospel which can change human hearts. People need the Lord, and then hearts will change.

We need to be teaching the people that Jesus Christ died on that cross to take our sins upon him in order to put our sins to death with him, and in order that, by God-persuaded faith in Christ, we might now die with Christ to sin and walk in obedience to his commands. For Jesus said that to come after him we must deny self, die daily to sin, and walk in obedience to his commands (in essence). For if we hold on to our sinful practices, and if we do not obey our Lord, we do not have eternal life with God.

[Matt 7:21-23; Lu 9:23-26; John 10:27-30; Acts 26:18; Rom 2:6-8; Rom 6:1-23; Rom 8:1-14; Rom 12:1-2; 1 Co 6:9-10,19-20; 1 Co 10:1-22; 2 Co 5:10,15,21; Gal 5:16-24; Gal 6:7-8; Eph 2:8-10; Eph 4:17-32; Eph 5:3-6; Col 1:21-23; Col 3:1-17; Titus 2:11-14; 1 Jn 1:5-10; 1 Jn 2:3-6,15-17; 1 Jn 3:4-10; 1 Pet 2:24; Heb 3:1-19; Heb 4:1-13; Heb 10:23-31; Heb 12:1-2]

And we need to be telling them the truth about what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. For it isn’t just that we must die daily to sin and walk in obedience to his commands, but that when we do, we are going to suffer for the sake of the gospel and for our faith in Jesus Christ. Satan and his hordes will be “hot on our trail” trying to bring us down, trying to get us to fail and to fall, and trying to dishearten and discourage us to the point to where we will give up the fight and back down and retreat from our Lord.

We need to be prepared for this so that we are not taken back by it when things get much worse, which they certainly will. And we need to be armored up (Ephesians 6:10-18) with the amor of God – the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, feet fitted ready to share the gospel, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying all times in the Spirit with all prayer and supplication, keeping alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.

[Matthew 5:10-12; Matthew 10:16-25,34-39; Matthew 24:9-14; Luke 6:22-23; Luke 12:49-53; Luke 21:12-17; John 15:18-21; Revelation 6:9-11; Revelation 7:9-17; Revelation 11:1-3; Revelation 12:17; Revelation 13:1-18; Revelation 14:1-13]

Only Hope

By Jonathan Foreman

There's a song that's inside
Of my soul..
Sing to me of the plans
That you have for me over again

I give you my destiny
I'm giving you all of me
I want your symphony
Singing in all that I am
At the top of my lungs
I'm giving it my all

So, I lay my head back down
And I lift my hands and pray
To be only yours I pray
To be only yours
I know now you're my only hope

Cell phone companies refute FBI testimony in J6 pipe bomber investigation

It seems to me they could determine the identity of the bomber unless a burner phone or a dummy phone was used.
Possibly no phone was present. I don't believe there is any evidence of a phone being used.

But why say that cell phone data was corrupted?
I assume that's his recollection of what he saw at that time.
I have no direct evidence of any one saying anything different, Loudermilk's statement to justthenews notwithstanding.

Okay...but THEN what?

I think fair and honest news is almost non existent, is like everyone aligns and favors sometimes with dishonesty their party or ideology.
I don't say they mostly lie, but hide what they don't like/harms their side, show what benefits, and makes commentary biased in favor of their side.
I guess you have to look at multiple sources, investigate a bit then draw conclusions maybe you find someplace you like more than others.

EPHESIANS 1

4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love

GOD'S CHOSEN ONE

As, I start to write about these wonderful truths, I am like the psalmist, these things are too wonderful for me, they may me too wonderful for me, but if you are truly born again, they are a reality for you as they are for me

When I was at school, and we played football, we had to pick teams, this was something I dreaded, because I knew that I would be left to last, ever felt, like that?

Well, it's not the case with God.. amen.

He chooses us.. yes, he choose me and he choose you.

In 1 Corinthians 1:26-31, Paul says GOD chooses the foolish things, the things that the world thinks are useless and unworthy, how amazing。 We might not be anything in the world's eyes, but we are everything in God's eyes.

I can't fully comprehend all this, truly it is beyond my understanding.

God the Father made a conscious choice to choose me and you, if you are truly born again. it shows surely that we have no part in our salvation it is God who takes the initiative, it is God who draws us to himself, it is God who loves us. 1 John 4:19

Why did he choose us?

So, we could be holy and blameless before him, we were tainted by sin, but now because of the cross, we can be blameless.
What motivated or constrained him? Love, pure and beautiful love. He had no need of us, he knew that we would reject him, but still he chooses us, still he loved us and now praise God, he has you and me, for his very own.. amen.

Matthew Henry writes on this verse:

We have here the date of this act of love: it was before the foundation of the world; not only before God's people had a being, but before the world had a beginning; for they were chosen in the counsel of God from all eternity. It magnifies these blessings to a high degree that they are the products of eternal counsel. The alms which you give to beggars at your doors proceed from a sudden resolve; but the provision which a parent makes for his children is the result of many thoughts, and is put into his last will and testament with a great deal of solemnity.

GOD BLESS YOU

KK

Chapter 1 verse 5

5 he predestined us[b] for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,

ADOPTED AS ONE OF HIS OWN

We can get tied up with the doctrines of election and predestination and yes I completely believe in them, but we need to focus on this fact, that we are adopted into God's family as sons of the most high God.

Why did he do this?

Remember that God didn't have to do this, he didn't and in my case, I have no idea, why he did it.

Adoption is one of the great doctrines of the bible, we don't have to understand it it fully, we just have to embrace the fact that we are adopted. So many believers are insecure in their faith, they wonder if God truly loves them. If they got a grip of the magnificent doctrine of adoption and the fact that God is their father and they are his son, and that he/she has done nothing to deserve that, then they would feel completely reassured and live in confident faith.

God adopted us to himself, we are his child, he is our Father. He adopts us in a personal way, to himself, once adopted, we are linked to Him, he is our father, we are his child.

He did it through Jesus Christ, all that the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, has we have, we have access to the Father, free and unlimited access, we are clothed with Christ's righteousness.

Again, adoption is a sovereign gift, all the things, we will talk about, are love gift from the Father, through the Son and applied by the Spirit.

Being a child of God, you are chosen, you are predestined to be sons of the Lord of the universe.

There is no higher privilege than that.. amen

Matthew Henry says this:

Predestination has respect to the blessings they are designed for; particularly the adoption of children, it being the purpose of God that in due time we should become his adopted children, and so have a right to all the privileges and to the inheritance of children

God bless you

Keith

Waiting

“Waiting”
Genesis 21:1-3 NIV
Now the Lord was gracious to Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did for Sarah what he had promised. Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him.

As I was waiting at a stop light recently, I was thinking about how much we often wait for things in life. Through our years of life, we do so much waiting. Sometimes we wait for a long time, other times we don’t. Who likes waiting for anything?? None of us! Waiting usually involves getting ancy and worrying and a number of other various emotions.

We wait on so many things.

We wait for test scores, whether school or medical.
We wait for someone to get out of surgery.
We wait at a stop light.
We wait at a roundabout.
We wait in a grocery store line.
We wait in a regular retail checkout line.
We want for a company to review our resume.
We wait for an interview.
We wait to hear back from an interview.
We wait for our child to be born.
We wait a slow person in front of us.
We wait for a webpage to load.
We wait for our food in a restaurant.
We wait for medicine to take effect.
We wait for our tax return.

The list could literally go on and on and on. We. Wait. For. So. Many. Things.
No wonder so many of us become impatient so often. This is something I have struggled with all my life. I’m a little better, but I’ve got a long way to go! Sometimes, I feel like I’m getting more patient, while other times I’m failing miserably.

Life experiences for all of us include much, much waiting in various ways. Sometimes, it really good for us to wait. It’s really good for us when we learn to wait for something. Often times, we discover the wait is well worth it when we do wait for something. Recently, I waited 5.5 months to run a 5K that I had trained for. The waiting was hard, but the race came and went and it was amazing! I was so glad I had the time to wait and train my body. Now I look to train for future race somewhere!

Waiting can really build character and perseverance. Like the old saying goes, “Good things come to those who wait”. Even though it’s hard, God rewards us so often when we are patient and wait for great things to come!

The Statement of Purpose includes:
4. No political campaigning. Christian Preppers come from all political groups and independents. While many preppers have strong political beliefs and ideologies, our desire is to put Christ above any differences and promote fellowship around God our Father and Jesus Christ His Son.
5. No fear-mongering. Christian Prepping is not about ideological paranoia and fear.

Do I need to have parents with no money at all for government to support me to give me money if I wanted to move to live on my own to pay for rent ..

for Him to open doors to be independent.
If you become what you mean by independent . . . would you be depending on yourself????

And might you be isolating yourself, instead of developing in how to share and care with others??

God is our Father, and Jesus His Son, and the Holy Spirit . . . God is the family Being of love.

So, yes it can be good to share with your family, in order to develop your life.

Jesus sits right by His Father in heaven.

Fruitful ministry in jail. Fears being returned to Taliban. Family evicted, child killed.

    Jail Time Provides Fruitful Ministry

[12] prayers in [1] nation have been posted for Kashvi.
Anti-conversion laws have not stopped Christians in India from sharing the gospel.
When Kashvi was visiting her Hindu sister-in-law in the hospital, sharing the gospel and praying with her, another person in the hospital heard her and called the police. Kashvi was arrested under state anti-conversion laws and spent three days in jail. While in jail, she said, she had no fear or worry. She had an opportunity to minister to a girl who had been in prison for two years. Many of the Hindu prisoners and some of the police officials also asked her to pray for them, and she was able to share the gospel with the police superintendent, who had asked her to pray for him after noticing her character and honesty. Christian Fears Being Returned to the Taliban

[6] prayers in [1] nation have been posted for Fazal.
Roughly 1.6 million Afghans fled to neighboring countries after the Taliban took control in 2021.
Fazal, a displaced Afghan Christian, was recently arrested in Central Asia for his Christian activities. Police eventually released him after he paid a significant fine. Front-line workers say Fazal has been very active in sharing his faith with other displaced Afghans. Since his arrest, Fazal has moved from house to house to avoid authorities, and he fears being returned to the Taliban. "If I go to Afghanistan, the Taliban will kill me," he said. "There is no clear future right now … but I know Jesus is always with me." Read More.

Family Evicted, Children Killed in Rockslide

[7] prayers in [1] nation have been posted for Duy and Sua.
Duy and Sua have hope in Christ even as they grieve for their children.
Duy and Sua are a minority couple in Vietnam. When Sua decided to place her trust in Christ in 2016, her marriage nearly collapsed because Duy didn't want his wife to follow this "foreign faith." God miraculously intervened, however, and Duy became not just a believer but a committed evangelist. His family kicked them out, and their village would not let them have good land for building, so they built a house at the foot of a hill outside town. On August 5, 2023, a rockslide destroyed part of their house, killing their 2-year-old and 2-month-old daughters and injuring Sua and their 6-year-old daughter. Read More.

This is just in my heart and might go with the song:

" At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book.

And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.
"

Daniel 12:1-3 (ESV above)

God bless you all greatly, hopefully everyone enjoys the song!
Thank you my sister for sharing this great song. I was headbanging so fast that I made myself get a little bit dizzy. hehehe

On a more serious note, the lyrics are AWESOME and hit this here Christian soldier right in the heart & soul with powerful encouragement and promises from the Lord God.
