No, Israel is not starving poor Gazan children. Don't buy the fake news lies

Do you believe in human rights? Should Christians believe in human rights? Is freedom of religion a human right that Christians should support? Do you have a right to force your religion on others?

I am a Christian who accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior at a young age. Since that time, I have consistently followed Jesus and obeyed to the teachings of the Bible.

I have once simple question;

Do you believe the Bible is inspired by God? It seems like you wants to talk about everything except what is written in Word of God.

Darwinian evolution - still a theory in crisis.

I ignored it?

Is that why I compared it with my own father?

I know the story better than you do, since I experienced a similar one.

You did ignore it, since you keep repeating the same claim despite being told multiple times that it's wrong.

Just like my sister did.

Since I don't know the time frame for your father's death (that's something I won't pry into, it's never nice), but since the Lady Hope story came out 30 years AFTER Darwin's death instead of immediately after, then that must be consider suspect especially since it only comes from one source; her and her alone.

If we have, I'm sure you tried so hard to make me look wrong, you ended up confusing everything.

You keep using that as a response, and it's hilarious that you think people get confused by what you say or what people say to you in response.

If I don't care, why do I assume Darwin is in Heaven and academia assumes he's in Hell?

Oh, wait.

Academia doesn't recognize Hell per se, does it?

(Like that makes a difference with God.)

Because it's somehow of major importance to you and you always try and connect it to the theory of evolution because... well, you just do. I know you like to say that it's because you want Darwin to be in heaven not hell, but that's not something you can rightly say happened based on the faulty and suspect testimony of one person.

When people try to pwn the Bible with charts, graphs, formulas, theories, hypotheses, pictures drawn by hirelings, famous quotes by famous people, books, magazines, post-it notes and whatever ...

Ya ... they're academians.

What's that saying?

If it walks like a lame and talks like a lame ...

To borrow a phrase; thank you for the QED.

I anticipate Trump pulling ANY aid for Ukraine when Zelenskyy inevitably rejects Trump's farcical 'deal'.

On Sunday, Trump explicitly said Ukraine will not regain Crimea -- occupied by Russia in 2014. The president also repeated that Ukraine will not be allowed to join NATO, though White House special envoy Steve Witkoff and Zelenskyy have hinted at alternative security guarantees involving the U.S.
"President Zelenskyy of Ukraine can end the war with Russia almost immediately, if he wants to, or he can continue to fight," Trump wrote on social media on Sunday.
...Friday's summit in Alaska ended with Russia demanding that Ukraine cede the entirety of its contested and fortified eastern Donetsk region in exchange for an end to the fighting, two sources told ABC News.
Trump then challenged Kyiv to "make the deal" and lavished praise on Putin. "Look, Russia is a very big power, and they're not," Trump told Fox News after the meeting. Putin, he added, is a "strong guy" and "tough as hell."

Through the Heavens, Open Report to the Throne

But, while the speaker, brother Larson, , wants to re-permeate with that same early Church faith, rightly so (all the gifts re-invigorated), but stops short of welcoming these same heirs (1 Corinthians 4:8), ,

As shown by the rich views but desolate comment here, maybe not so easy. That shows us all, this is still the wish hidden in the heart. Repent!

The Falsifiability Criterion

“Peer-review” is like asking your neighbor if their child is a good kid. I worked in publishing peer-reviews journals for many years. It is usually more of a cabal than actual review. The question is not whether an article is good science or not, but rather if the writer is part of the club. This was with mechanical engineering, and it was obvious how the process works. This was even evident when it was something as scientifically verifiable as lubrication of friction joints.
That said, mechanical engineering isn't science.

Antisemitism all time high in UK

Thomas Sowell was asked why is there so much hatred for the Jews throughout history. He said its because they are so successful in what they do. Despite a history of oppression and dispersion they seem to be able to suceed no matter what.

The idea is that if your poor and disadvantaged you belong to the victim groups. But if you suceed your an oppressor.

But I think its more than this as there have been times when Jews were persecuted when in poverty such as the Pogroms against the Jews in Russia in the 19th century.

I have read that the true source of the hatred for the Jews is in the Torah. Back to Mt Sinai when God made the Jews His chosen people. Something in making the Jews Gods people provokes some people. Whether thats because they think the Jews should be cut down to size for claiming to be Gods people.

Or something deeper where just as the ancient Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites or the Jesbusites were attacking Isreal this inherent hatred still lives on and is something more spiritual.

But definitely there is a hyperfocus on the jews and Isreal compared to any other nations or similar context. Its more than cultural, land, or social justice.

Antisemitism all time high in UK

I once lived in a Muslim nation for two and a half years and have worked on projects in others for weeks at a time--mostly recently last December.
You don't know what you are talking about.
Perhaps if you read what I actually said then there would be no need to attack a strawman. I clearly destinguished that these were Islamist nations. Have you lived in Islamist nations like Iran or Yemen.

Iran: New compulsory veiling law intensifies oppression of women and girls

Enforced veiling at the threat of death is just one of many violations of women in these extremist nations. They don't hold democratic elections, they descriminate and murder their own people and impose the same extreme ideology on their own people.

Like the civil war in Yemen where civilians are targeted and children are forced to fight with guns to kill their own people. The Houthis are backed by Iran and it seems that the extremist nations have regimes backed by Iran.

It is these regimes and extremists I am talking about and not the Muslims as a whole. If the same thing was happening in a western nation that was denying minorities, forcing women to conform or be killed and making their children fight wars it would not be tolerated and condemned.

Yemen Crisis
Wheres all the protesters blocking streets for the poor people of Yemen. More than 18.2 million people are in dire need of humanitarian assistance and protection services. The risk of a large-scale famine in the country has never been more acute. Tens of thousands are already living in famine-like conditions and a staggering five million more are acutely food insecure.

Malnutrition rates among women and children in Yemen remain among the highest in the world, with 1.4 million pregnant or breastfeeding women requiring treatment for acute malnutrition. Yemeni children continue to be killed and injured because of the conflict and are dying at increasingly high rates due to preventable diseases and malnutrition. According to UNICEF, one in two children under the age of five are malnourished in Yemen.

Why is Isreal singled out and seemingly made to be the bad guy while these extreme regimes like Hamas and the Houthis who have been systemactically wiping out not on;y Jews and Christians but there own people and not one of the social justice warriors has said boo about whats happening.

But suddeny the same radicals attack Isreal and Ireal defends itself and all hell breaks loose in condemning Isreal and not the radicals. Seems a bit inconsistent to me. Either you equally condemn all or none at all. But it seems there is an effort to conflate Isreals actions on the same level as Hamas which is false.

Working Class Ditching Dem Party In Droves As Some Say It’s ‘Fighting For Everybody Else’ Besides Americans

Based on the most recent available data, approximately 0.5% to 1.6% of U.S. adults identify as transgender.
It's amazing that such a small percentage of the population can be seen as an existential threat to the nation.

Working Class Ditching Dem Party In Droves As Some Say It’s ‘Fighting For Everybody Else’ Besides Americans

Why does this surprise you?
Never said it didn’t.
You are making my point. There is no "focuses on and actively promotes what is important to a minute cross section for the voting populace".
Based on the most recent available data, approximately 0.5% to 1.6% of U.S. adults identify as transgender.

Did you not know it was that minute?

What policies or party platform focused on a minute cross section? What bills were passed under Biden or Obama had that same misconceived focus?
The ones Trump is being lauded for overturning or ending.

The Falsifiability Criterion

Reputable science doesn't function to "prove" a proposed hypothesis by any means necessary. It functions by demanding that the scientists design the experiments to try and disprove the hypothesis if it is false. The deep time hypothesis is falsifiable in this way but continues to survive the experiments that are designed to try and disprove it. Gerrymandering of the results is not something that can occur without being immediately exposed in the replication and critical peer-review process.
“Peer-review” is like asking your neighbor if their child is a good kid. I worked in publishing peer-reviews journals for many years. It is usually more of a cabal than actual review. Working Class Ditching Dem Party In Droves As Some Say It’s ‘Fighting For Everybody Else’ Besides Americans

From a Christian metaphysical standpoint, it makes sense: Christian ontology, going back to the patristics, is relational. The Lockean/Cartesian self is an historical construct, in comparison, a modern myth.

Given the polycrisis and biospheric limits, humanity's consciousness and way of being in the world will have to change. What were once religious platitudes now have to become radically embodied. And I'm just being realistic, but it's probably wise to prepare for the worst, and not count on humanity as a whole to change any time soon unless compelled to do so by external pressures and crises.

Given the rise of technofeudalism, it's unlikely to continue except as a kind of noble lie or civic religion. Real power, especially in countries like the US is in the hands of tech lords.

We are well beyond the traditional logic of capitalism. If you want to understand late postmodernity, it's like Imperial Rome's patronage system, but with dashboards, likes, and feeds.
Still, the age-old problem remains of keeping the noses of the working class to the grindstone. How much carrot vs how much stick?

How did Jesus end the law without abolishing it?

Freewill is technically a Godless position.

This is a popular religious philosophy of this world religions, "who come in Christ's Name". But I don't believe that God creating humans with the free will ability to choose God's Words or reject God's Words is Evil, or as you preach "Godless".

Are you claiming the Will of God does not work within you?

Of course, if I choose to reject God's Word, the Will of God is that my heart becomes darkened and I become a fool. If I choose to "Yield myself" to Gods Word, as Paul and Jesus Teach, the Will of God is that I be given to His Son, for cleansing.

So yes, the Will of God is always done in men, whether they yield themselves to God or not.

How are you then free, O servant of Him?

I am freed from the death that results in rejecting His Word, free to serve Him, trust HIM, rather that my own self. Why would I want to be free from God's instruction? Is God's instruction also "Godless" in your religion?

You're not. NOR does God "need" your freewill decisions in order to reward you,

He doesn't need men to choose Him, otherwise HE would make everyone choose Him. He "Seeks" men who will deny themselves and "Choose" Him". He "Wants" all men to choose Him, which is Life, not Reject Him, which is death. He gives men the choice.

Duet. 30: 19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore "choose" life, that both thou and thy seed may live: 20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

You, and others who "Come in Christ's Name" promote that this "Will of God" is evil, or as you said "Godless" that HE would give men the free will to choose or reject.

He has already shown you the rewards according to your deeds. At least, this is what the Bible teaches. A man either believes Him or they don't. It's a Free will choice HE gave to men.

If you can't believe in God's Words on such a fundamental Biblical Truth, how is it you are preaching to others??

Darwinian evolution - still a theory in crisis.

I have my reasons.

In this case, FaithT said she thought Darwin was an atheist (at the time), and I agreed with her.

Then I interjected some good news into the conversation, and academia is going bananas.

If academia is right, Darwin is in Hell now.

If Lady Hope was right, Darwin is in Heaven now.

With friends like academia, who needs enemies!

And once again you ignore the testimony of Darwin's own family who knew the man much more than a woman who published her story over 30 years AFTER the man died, which isn't something suspect at all, and said that she was wrong and lying.. But we've been through this before; you don't care about that at all.

And once again; your insistence of calling anyone and everything that disagrees with you as being 'academia' is both telling and very sad.

I say deport them all to Islamist nations and see how long they continue to support such radical and destructive ideology. They will soon come back home with their tails between their legs and realise that the West including Isreal are the good guys and not the bad ones.

Why do US schools not allow the Bible to be taught ?

Bible stories in school = Christian National indoctrination?

Odd. The very last one I heard in school concerned King Belshazzar, Daniel, and the writing on the wall. The book of Daniel is from the Ketuvim of the Tanakh.
Yes. The stated purpose of the legislation mandating the introduction of the Ten Commandments and the Bible in public schools is to use them in teaching that the United States was founded on the Protestant Christian faith.

Even if IRS OKs churches to endorse political candidates, should they?

Looks like I'll be the first dissenting opinion, strongly disagreeing with the other responses here. Assuming that tax exempt religious organizations now have free speech in political matters, consider:

We can't love others well or serve as a light to the world without caring about the culture affecting the society around us.

We can't care about the society and culture around us without caring about the government leaders exercising control over it.

Thus, if we love people and society, Christians have an obligation (when presented the privileged right) to support Godly government leaders. This is consistent with Moses being advised to "select men from all the people - men who fear God" to rule over the Israelites" (Ex 18:21).

Shouldn't a church pastor teach his congregation the sinful nature of the surrounding culture so that the Christian can defend and fight against it - be it protests, voting, or just personal influencing? I think so.

Shouldn't a church pastor be a source of truth in revealing which government leaders support or oppose Christian biblical values? I think so.

In my view, to suggest that a pastor shouldn't teach truth about a nation's leaders or that Christians shouldn't vote for Godly leaders is an untenable position if one is to care about what's going on in the world.

I would add that it's the passive nature of many Christians AND their support of ungodly government leaders that has transformed America from a Christian nation towards a secular one, specifically by enabling liberal presidential Supreme Court Justices to ban the Bible in public schools; to ban prayer in the public schools, prayer at high school graduation ceremonies, and prayer at school football games; to ban posting of the 10 Commandments in public schools and buildings; to ban Christmas nativity scenes on pubic property; to replace the teaching of Biblical creationism in public schools with evolution; to ban all sodomy laws; to legalize abortion and gay marriage; to canonize in law Jefferson's misquoted phrase "separation of church and state"; and to establish a lemon test ruling prohibiting the public support of all religion - all this opposing God and directly betraying America's Christian heritage and founding fathers' written intentions. All this by Christians voting for ungodly presidents that appoint liberal Justices, ungodly Senators, Congressmen, and local officials.

America's Christian heritage and moral values is in shambles because the majority voting block of Christians have NOT had their church pastors guiding them adequately in social culture and political affairs. So yes, I think we need a lot more of that, not less.

Pastors should base their sermons and teachings on biblical truth, addressing current issues Christians face—such as abortion, homosexuality, loving one's neighbor, and other daily challenges—by sharing what the Bible says about each topic.

We can show love and serve as examples by living a Christian life, guiding others to Christ, and helping or supporting our neighbors.

The New Testament does not teach that expressing love for others requires electing or supporting a government. Such interpretations do not align with the principles found in New Testament teachings.

The New Testament and the teachings of Jesus do not advocate for government involvement in defending or promoting Christianity. Jesus Christ alone is responsible for its defense. A common misconception among some American Christians is that governmental authority or legislation can transform America or the world into a more Christian society. However Biblical truth is, lasting change occurs through prayer, sharing the gospel, and exemplifying a Christian lifestyle. No earthly government has the capacity to fundamentally change the world or improve conditions specifically for Christians.

The passive nature of Christianity was exemplified on the cross, ultimately resulting in victory over death.

“ And being found in the fashion of a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death—even the death of the cross.”

Darwinian evolution - still a theory in crisis.

This paper was no ordinary paper.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The Word of God is not the same as the writings of man, especially the claims of man as the ones you put forward.

I believe that ALL who ever lived will be in God’s Kingdom

Satan will exist until God Himself puts him away permanently.

In the mean time, there is mean time.

There is time, singular. That would be Satan's time. Satan knows his time, singular, is short.

Then there are the TIMES of mankind in the generations, plural.

And there is A SINGULAR generation, that of the serpent vipers who have had one very long day here from the garden onward. They also have "a nation." And a city. All these things of "them" are unseen, because they exist in the spiritual arena. The arena that the prophets saw and spoke of by similitudes. They "saw" what these "things" look like behind the curtains of empirical reality.

Time/Times/the dividing or halving

That's how it's coming down

i see the time, times and half time or 1260 days as the second forty as in 1260 divide by the amount of days in a month of a biblical year of 12 months of 360 days or 42 x 30 = 1260 of which speaks to the Israelites who camped 42 times in the wilderness ( where she is/they are nourished ) before they entered into the promise ... or Ephraim at the river Jordan with the 42,000 and this in picture the revealing of our nakedness which ties into the first forty masculine and the second forty feminine all of which is pictures of the process of our soul by way of this duality within us which time is as well seeing time is a measurement and a measurement needs two points of reference ... a beginning and an end ... Jesus never entered into the second forty ( feminine ) whist he walked the earth which is to say his nakedness was not revealed to him because he did not make a way for the devil to enter into his garden\mind and therefor was not separated\divided from the Truth he was ect ect ect
