i) Genesis 1 doesn't teach the shape of the earth.
ii) the first couple of verses of Genesis 1 were read from the moon - heard by millions of people. I find that amazing; you just deny it.

ii) There may not be any believers on earth when Jesus returns - he may have already taken us to be with him.
iii) So what? We can never be deceived about God, we can never be snatched from his hand nor separated from his love. You expect us to fall at the feet of our Saviour and cry because the earth MAY be a different shape to the one we've always believed it to be? Never going to happen. When we see God face to face we won't even care about the earth - never mind what shape it was.

IF he didn't see the need to, it means it's not important and can't save anyone - just what we have been saying all along.

But I don't believe for one minute you knew what was in Jesus' mind 2000 years ago.

And what is in error about this chart ? What does your 1989 REB bible say for Ezekiel 39:12 ? Does it say the people of "Beulah" in that verse, or the house of Israel, that will bury the dead of Gog's army for 7 months ?

keras, you have formulated that a replacement nation (to the current nation of Israel) made up of Christians, which you refer to as Beulah, will be established before the Gog/Magog event. That creating and building a replacement nation will take a lot of time. It does not sound reasonable.

Given the activity between Israel and Iran, it does not appear that Gog/Magog is that far away.

The Gog/Magog attack on Israel takes place before the 7 years of Ezekiel 39:9 take place.

The covenant in Daniel 9:27 is not a peace treaty, but the Mt. Sinai covenant. The "many" refers to the increased population of Israel as compared to in Daniel's day.

The prince that shall come (following Gog/Magog) will be perceived by the Jews as their long awaited King of Israel messiah. Once anointed the King of Israel, he will confirm the Mt. Sinai covenant for the 7 year cycle that Moses stipulated in Deuteronomy 31:9-13.

I have no complaints if God wants to gather the saints to worship before Him on every new month and on every Sabbath, but apparently many do.
