Praise the Lord! I got hired at a nursing home 5 minutes from my apartment here in St Paul. I am ecstatic! I got a new job at a nursing home near me! I will be in housekeeping. As for a start date, that remains TBD.

I'm not terribly good with introductions so I apologize in advance. I started driving truck about 3 years ago, that in and of itself was stressful at first, coupled with the extremely long late nights I became chronically ill. Thankfully I've settled in, made schedule changes, and have recovered physically, but during that time the longing for God really began to rise in me and Christian radio became an important part of my life on the road, and my faith has been growing steadily. I'm looking to engage in fellowship now, and here I'm sure will be good for that, and also for advice on how to find a good church, as I'm sure pretty much everyone here will have more experience at that than me (I've been ~4 times in my life).

I don't mean this post to be sexist and I don't intend to offend anyone with my post I just need some actual Biblical advice here. I'd like whatever your response is to have scripture to back it up I don't want people's personal views I want to do what the word of God says to do in this situation not the word of man. I'm just not 100% educated on what the Bible says about this sensitive subject.


That said, here I go. My wife and I have been married for 8 years and together for almost 10. During those 10 years my wife/gf did not work because she believes that the word of God says that women should not work hut instead be keepers of home and children (she doesn't do that either but we cut each other a lot of slack)

Right now my wife and I are in debt about $4,000 which to a disabled person who only makes $900 a month is a lot of money. It would take over a year to pay off and the interest on my credit cards are about 20-25% because i went bankrupt last year.

It'll cost me thousands to pay them off and I'm starting to wonder if maybe my wife can get a job to help us out.

But, I'm supposed to be the sole provider. I cannot hold a job which is why I get help from the government to begin with because I'm schizophrenic and bipolar. I go manic 3-4 times a year sometimes for months at a time. So it's impossible for me to keep a job if sometimes I cannot work for months at a time. Because not only do I get manic but I also get psychotic at times too. Sometimes the lack of sleep that I get from being manic causes my schizophrenia to act up. I'm on meds and everything or i probably would be in a mental hospital for the rest of my life.

So I'm just wondering if my wife brought home minimum wage together we might be able to pay the 4k off in 4-6 months saving me a lot of my ssi check. Not to mention car insurance food and many of the other bills that I have to pay out of pocket for every month. Tbch i feel stuck.

But if it's God's will that my wife remain unemployed I don't want to go against his will. After all it's been his will for almost 10 years now. I need biblical advice on this subject. What does everybody think?

A tech executive was fired because of his choice of self identification pronouns. His company decided that everyone had to choose their preferred pronouns and he did not want to do that. His religious beli fs were there are only two genders. And he felt if he was to accept the pronoun labels he was acquiescing to the gender ideology that there are many genders. So he refused to do it until he felt the heat and knew he had to do it or else. So he chose the "assigned by God" label.

He had two employees complain about it and he was fired. He is now suing the company for firing him claiming they violated his civil rights of religious liberty and being discriminated against.

The is just more evidence the totalitarianism of the LGBT movement. Our way or the highway. No tolerance, you must comply or be punished for it.

What should have happened is the company should have accepted the rights of all. The rights of those who wish to use their preferred pronouns and the rights of those who don't. If you are going to ask that people use their preferred pronouns in their stuff then you really need to respect the rights of those who don't wish to do so. As an individual you are not being exclusive if you don't want to choose pronouns for your self.

Secondly, since people are free to choose their pronouns then you also have to be free to choose your pronouns. Whatever it is you want. That's how it works. Since things like Zie and Zir or Mix or Dey or whatever are acceptable as made up things so is Assigned By God. I think maybe he would have been better off just using ABG.

But firing someone for making up a pronoun that has a religious connotation? Inexcusable.

Hi everyone.
This is PG13 and I'm sorry but I need help.

A few months ago I posted about how, last year, my boyfriend and I went "almost too far." Long story short, I asked him repeatedly if we could "go all the way" and physically pressured him, and while we didn't go That Far, we did have oral sex.

I felt so, so guilty for that. And I still do. We broke up last month over other issues, but this is still in my head. I even asked him about it this morning, and I told him I feel like he has every right to press charges, because I wasn't "lost in passion," i knew what i was doing. But he's not going to, and he offered me advice on forgiving myself and moving on.

He's told me repeatedly that we did NOT have sex that night. I'm just paranoid, because clothes were off and we were so, so close. I literally analyzed how everything felt and I have this horrible thought that, what if we DID, like, a tiny bit? And he didn't realize? Does that make sense? I'm sorry, I don't want to be graphic but I am so scared to talk about this to anyone in person.

And basically, if we DID have sex, even a little bit that he didn't correctly interpret, then that means I did something HORRIBLE, because I pushed him.

I have good reason to trust he knows what he is talking about when he says we did NOT go all the way. But I'm so, so terrified.

Hi everyone, I just got word, apparently they have decided to end they yearly Creation Festival in Mount Union, PA on Agape Farm after 44 years. I was disappointed and saddened to see it go but if it is the will of God I am all for it, however apparently they are going to do something else starting next year, be in prayer for wisdom for the leadership to know what to do! However I just discovered something, they are having the Festival out there this year, same thing, just under a different name! They are calling it the Agape Festival! Hopefully it will be a smash-hit and everyone that came to Creation in the past will just come to this! It is on for June 22. Also there are 2 other Festivals in the northeast of the United States, the Uprise Festival in Shippensburg, PA, and the Light the Way festival outside of Washington DC.

Over the last few months I have started feeling unsettled in my church. I am not sure if me feeling something is wrong is actually because something is wrong or because I am unsettled personally. it is quite a big church but I feel unsettled in the small group I was going to aswell. I have recently not gone to this group for two weeks as something feels off. I dont know why I feel like this.

I have started looking at another church as I'm not sure if that is why I'm feeling like this - if maybe God is leading me somewhere else?

I dont know how to figure out why I feel like this.

"Be ye angry, and sin not." There can hardly be goodness in a man if he be not angry at sin; he who loves truth must hate every false way. How our Lord Jesus hated it when the temptation came! Thrice it assailed him in different forms, but ever he met it with, "Get thee behind me, Satan." He hated it in others; none the less fervently because he showed his hate oftener in tears of pity than in words of rebuke; yet what language could be more stern, more Elijah-like, than the words, "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer." He hated wickedness, so much that he bled to wound it to the heart; he died that it might die; he was buried that he might bury it in his tomb; and he rose that he might for ever trample it beneath his feet. Christ is in the Gospel, and that Gospel is opposed to wickedness in every shape. Since he was cursed who rebuilt Jericho, much more the man who labours to restore Popery among us. In our fathers' days the gigantic walls of Popery fell by the power of their faith, the perseverance of their efforts, and the blast of their gospel trumpets; and now there are some who would rebuild that accursed system upon its old foundation. O Lord, be pleased to thwart their unrighteous endeavours, and pull down every stone which they build. It should be a serious business with us to be thoroughly purged of every error which may have a tendency to foster the spirit of Popery, and when we have made a clean sweep at home we should seek in every way to oppose its all too rapid spread abroad in the church and in the world. This last can be done in secret by fervent prayer, and in public by decided testimony. We must warn with judicious boldness those who are inclined towards the errors of Rome; we must instruct the young in gospel truth, and tell them of the black doings of Popery in the olden times. We must aid in spreading the light more thoroughly through the land, for priests, like owls, hate daylight. Are we doing all we can for Jesus and the gospel? If not, our negligence plays into the hands of the priestcraft. What are we doing to spread the Bible, which is the Pope's bane and poison? Are we casting abroad good, sound gospel writings? Luther once said, "The devil hates goose quills" and, doubtless, he has good reason, for ready writers, by the Holy Spirit's blessing, have done his kingdom much damage. If the thousands who will read this short word this night will do all they can to hinder the rebuilding of this accursed Jericho, the Lord's glory shall speed among the sons of men. Reader, what can you do? What will you do?

What does giving honour mean? I mean in the world of MEN this does only mean to accept and respect..... that women are like this.
