  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am a leader in how to be a good person and bettering oneself, Hello!

Hello, I can't share my name due to some interesting reasons but I am a christian and was LDS a year ago. No longer lds but I am not in any denomination at this point. I am a republican and I believe in many things that other christians don't but I am not a supporter of evil and bad things.

I do want to share something about me that is kind of basic before I get into a good post about life. I am a woman I am 30 and I am a good person. I don't go around thinking "I am christian to be better than others." or even "I do things the way I do to one up someone else!" This thinking is not what I do to become a better person or good or go to church or whatever else. I don't do that. I am spiritually minded, I think of God all the time and I am goal and dream oriented. I love being able to accomplish dreams and goals and be a big thinker. I am hoping one day to be a pastor of sorts.

I am also hoping to make new ideas, new businesses, new books, and new inventions of some sort. I love creating ideas in general but making money off of them sounds fine too. I do like the idea of creating movements with people like movements to create a better society and people doing good. I know that I am nobody at this point but I am very sure I can do anything. I do not have a business at this point due to disability and this disability will be healed soon.

I am going to share some likes and dislikes and I'll try to engage in this post too so that people feel like I talked to them.

I am an INFJ. I love being INFJ and no I'm not mistyped. I'm not INFP for sure I have way too much introverted intuition to have INFP as my result. I am rare I guess but I wonder sometimes because so many claim to be INFJ at this point. I love MBTI and learning psychology. I love learning in general. I love spiritual natured topics all day long and I do care about sports too a lot. I am an artist and also a smart person in life. I love playing tennis and have a goal to get to at least a college level skill. I won't play in college but 5.0 and 5.5 are college level usually.

I am very interested in Christainity because I have seen God. If you hate that idea somehow please let me know if I can't share that I met God on this forum. I have such different opinions because of it that people sometimes can't handle ideas for some reason or another. But opinions are just that, opinions.

Anyway, most people would claim I am quiet, sensitive, and kind. But I am also considered strong by many.

Other people comment about me being "Super helpful with service" and "Super cute about being a good person." and some people claim even "you're spiritual actually interesting." And then other comments are good too but one negative one is "you're too quiet." and this is true.

I am a leader in teaching people how to be better as a person. I am good and I teach others how to be good too. I am just starting my mission in life and this is it. However, I can't explain exactly what I do.

I do around and help people all day long sometimes, but I have the time to do it because I have no work right now due to disability. So I am coming here to help give good advice and good ideas to people. I am here to support and to help. I also want to give value to people so that it sounds like I tried to help them truly.

I don't know how to create a business at this point or I would have had one by now and made a few million off of it. I am still disabled too much however to remember enough that I can't do it at this point.

I have earned very few awards but I do know I'll be in Heaven because God told me.

I have this award which is an accomplishment in itself. I was in a music video with a singer that is popular and they sung the song "a million dreams" and I am singing with a choir in the background and they used our voices for the song. It was incredible and millions of people watched it. I am proud to say that I followed the spirit on when to take choir class and this happened because of it.

I do not have much to say about my finances at this point but I am poor however, one day when I get money which will be sooner rather than later, I will help many people have food, clothing and water. I will help people with their hunger and housing and food. I will make a charity even just to help people in Africa truly get everything they need. I cannot stand that we still have starvation in this world despite all of the money everyone has. I have a friend and I earned up with my part time job 500 dollars for him to have a house in south africa. He bought the house and he now lives rent free and I help him with money that I earn from cleaning at home. I have to help him. He will die if I do not. So I am helping this person. My friend goes so long without food usually that he is suicidal and cannot handle it anylonger. I told him stop thinking about it because forever from now on you will have food. I have been helping this person for a while now. But we are working on getting him here in America eventually to work and be able to provide for his family and friends and he even wants to help his neighborhood with his money. I said "perfect, I want to help you and your neighborhood too." This is so important to me that I would do much to help him.

I also am service oriented one area that many might not agree with was something called baptisms for the dead. I don't believe in it anylonger and not because of the bible but because there is no power in priesthood at this point. Move a mountain I dare you. I don't think you can. God has power but people do not. Anyway, I went to save people from Hell everyday. Most people in the LDS church never go to the temple because of laziness and lack of passion for being good in certain areas, but most people also don't care. I said to myself "I wonder how to help people more" and this idea popped into my head from God and I said "ok I'll do it." So I went to the temple everyday for years and years and years. Most who go in general are once a week to once a month but I went everyday alone and said "I will help MILLIONS OF PEOPLE GET OUT OF HELL." This is what baptisms do in our church. It's not evil sounding right? Anyway, I was able to baptize thousands upon thousands of people and I got it done in a few years. I was ready to do it for the rest of my life until I died. I am very very valiant about this area. Even though it was not really helping, God said to do it so that I would love service in the end. I want to serve daily and so I will share things on here as much as I can, in the end I might have to stop because I am busy but i am helping others in other areas.

I will say this, I am not great at certain things like making money, having a job, having friends, and having family that loves me. This is not my fault however, because I am a good person and these people who do not like me are not my fault. I go around lonely and alone a lot but I learned to be happy by myself all day long even when it's been 10 years since I had friends. I even take myself out to dinner by myself all the time sometimes. I don't even care at this point and it's nice to get out. I do talk to people, I converse, I say "hello nice to meet you" and I do say things ok? But my problem lies in the fact the devil hates me and cursed me. But that's another story. Most people are more successful than me because of the Devil cursing my life. It's truly a curse when you say "hello, how are you?" "good you?" and then they never ask you more. This is my life. I am not ugly or hideous and people avoid me for some reason because of it. I am just normal but I do have curses about people. However, they are leaving because God is blessing me and I did nothing different.

Those are my qualities that are bad right now. However, it's easy to get them if I don't have a curse.

I learn by the spirit, I learn from experts what to do to be smart with life, even finances I know about but that area is not due to curses it's due to disability. I cannot remember anything in general with making a business even when I try very hard to remember. I can't even remember how to use a cash register and I cannot push carts at this point because my body will break down too fast and I'll have ligament and muscle tears after a while. Even 3 hours of it. So it's impossible at this point to do any work. So my work will be helping everyone here and in other areas of my life.

I am a leader however despite all of the sad and bad things I have in life. They will go away soon, don't worry about it. You can be a leader even if you have problems in life. I am a leader. I can help you improve your life if you need and help you truly be good as a person too. I am helpful in this way.

Thank you for reading.

I will end this now.

What happened when this Protestant minister tried to preach on the 6th Chapter of John...

As a Presbyterian minister, Dean Waldt was committed to teaching the Scriptures. But when leading an adult Sunday school class on John 6, Dean came to a crossroads; it seemed clear that what Jesus was saying about Himself lined up much more with Catholic teaching on Holy Communion than it did with his Presbyterian understanding of the Lord’s Supper.

Video below. A little over 6 minutes.

Be Careful What You Hear

Luke 12:1-5 ESV

“In the meantime, when so many thousands of the people had gathered together that they were trampling one another, he began to say to his disciples first, ‘Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed on the housetops.
“’I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do. But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him!’”

What is “leaven”?

I read this definition of “leaven” – “Something that modifies or lightens.” (source: M-W Dictionary). And then I read this one – “the spreading influence of what is typically concealed;” “a symbol of the spreading nature of evil” (source: biblehub.com interlinear). And the two definitions actually fit together. For the lies modify and lighten the truth to make the truth less offensive and more acceptable to human flesh. And the lies are also this spreading influence of evil, the truth of which is very much concealed.

And who are the Pharisees? In our day and time they represent all those who profess faith in Jesus Christ and who act religiously in front of other people and who go through particular religious exercises, but who are sinning in secret, behind closed doors where no one can see the evil they are involved in. And they represent people in positions of religious authority over the people who profess faith in Jesus Christ within the gatherings of the church, or within the gatherings of what is falsely called “church.”

So, this would then be about hypocritical rulers and guides and ministers within the gatherings of the church or the ICs (institutional churches) who are putting on a performance of righteousness in front of people, but who are deliberately and habitually sinning against God in secret. They have that outward appearance of being Christian but by their lifestyles they deny the very Lord they profess to worship. And their teaching is not of God, even if it has the appearance that it is, for there is much deception in the mix.

Warning Against Deception

And in today’s world, the warning really and truly is against deception, for so many of the false teachings today are not necessarily all that obvious to the unsuspecting, to the naïve, and to those who don’t really know the Scriptures. And the liars count on that, too. For misimpressions are being used a lot, for they are hard to prove, because they are indirect lies and thus they can easily claim you are just misinterpreting what they are saying. So, in these cases you really have to check your impressions against the truths of the Scriptures to make certain that what you are believing is biblical.

But even there, you must test what you are hearing and/or reading against the Scriptures in their context. For may deceivers use Scriptures to tell their lies, but they use them out of context, and they twist them to say what the Scriptures do not teach in context. And so please be in the practice of reading passages of Scripture in their context, including in the context of the whole of the New Testament teachings. And this engages the use of comparing Scripture with Scripture so that you get the truth of it all.

But there is so much evil and deception and trickery going on these days in the name of Christianity. And if you are one who is teaching the truth, and who is exposing the lies, Satan is going to be after you, and others might even trump up lies against you in order to silence you, like they did to Jesus and to the NT apostles, and to the prophets before them. For Satan and his servants fight dirty when they feel as though their lies are being threatened, and that their lies are in danger of being exposed.

But God is still sovereign! Amen? He is still in control over all things. And one day all these things that are now being hidden are going to come into the light. And yes, even the slightest of errors we may have made over the years may also come out in the process, for we are not perfect people. But we should not be people who are living in sin and who are ignoring the Lord’s commands and who are going our own way instead of God’s way. So, we should have nothing to hide if our walks of faith are of God.

And none of us should be afraid of what other humans might do to us or say about us or to us. We should fear God and not other humans, and we must do what is right, even if others then tell lies about us to cover up their sins and their lies they are telling the people. Yet, we should be more concerned about getting out the truth for the salvation of human lives than with what other humans might do in response to our truthfulness. And then we need to trust the Lord to work it all out according to his plans and purposes.

For we are to walk in the fear of the Lord, believing what his word teaches us regarding what it means to be saved from our sins and to have eternal life with God. For his word teaches us that we must die with Christ to sin and live to his righteousness, and that we must no longer walk in sin, but now in obedience to our Lord. And if we do not do what our Lord says we must do, then we have to know that we do not have eternal life with God, regardless of what our lips profess. So, please take this to heart!

Seeking God to give us answers
That are only found in Him.

Nothing from His mind escaping.
He has all things under His command,
And will work all for good.

Jesus Christ is gently calling
You to follow Him in all ways.

Men deceiving: We’re believing
In our Lord, and interceding
For our nation and its people
To obey their God today.

Parts of ancient planet inside the Earth?

"There are two giant but mysterious structures underneath the Earth’s surface, which just might be part of an ancient planet.

Yep, all this time we’ve been looking to solve the mysteries in space – but we’ve actually been standing on one all along.

That’s because underneath Africa and the Pacific, there are two large structures which are estimated to take up between three and nine percent of the Earth’s total volume, sitting between the surface and the planet’s metallic core.

The one under Africa is known as Tuzo, and is thought to be around 497 miles in height. The other is known as Jason, and is a little taller – this is estimated to be up to 1,118 miles in height."

Why Scientists Think There May Be Parts Of An Ancient Planet Inside Earth

the Mar-a-Lago raid was "good" if Trump was iactually showing attack plans to people without clearance

Many were outraged by the FBI of Mar-a-Lago , However if Trump was actually showing attack plans to people without clearance I would argue the raid and indictment are "good" because they would be the only way to stop Trump doing the wrong thing.
Counter arguments welcome.

Is Your Eye Healthy?

Luke 11:33-36 ESV

“No one after lighting a lamp puts it in a cellar or under a basket, but on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light. Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is full of light, but when it is bad, your body is full of darkness. Therefore be careful lest the light in you be darkness. If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, it will be wholly bright, as when a lamp with its rays gives you light.”

Another word for lamp is light, and a lamp shines forth the light, and the light biblically represents Jesus Christ, the truth, the gospel, and our salvation and his righteousness. So, if we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of our lives, via dying with him to sin and living to him and to his righteousness – via being crucified with him in death to sin and raised with him to walk in newness of life in him, no longer as slaves to sin, but now as slaves to God and to his righteousness – then that truth and righteousness, and the holiness of God, should be shining forth from our lives.

So, what I believe this is saying is that, if our faith in Jesus Christ is genuine faith, and truly we have received the true Light, we shouldn’t be people who then bury that light and hide it so that no one can see it. We shouldn’t be ashamed of Jesus and of his gospel in word or in deed. Our lights should be shining forth the truth of God’s holy word, but not in word only, but in our actions and behaviors and way of thinking and attitudes, etc. It should be obvious that our lives are committed to Jesus Christ and to his Word.

Other words for “eye” are judgment, discernment, and discrimination. And this has to do with discerning good from evil and choosing either to do good or to do evil. And the physical eye definitely can be involved in this, too. For some judgments (decisions) have to do with what we allow our eyes to focus on and to gaze upon. But this really is about the decisions and judgments we make each and every day regarding how we choose to live and what we choose to accept and reject. So this is about how we choose to live our lives.

So, if our practice is to make righteous judgments and moral and upright decisions and choices for our lives, which then is followed by that being how we live, then our eye is healthy, and our whole being is full of righteousness and purity and holiness. But if our practice is to make sinful, evil, and immoral choices, followed by sinful, evil and immoral behaviors, then our eye is bad, and our body (our whole being) is full of darkness (sin, wickedness, evil). And the light within us is darkness.

So, what does that mean? Well, the light represents Jesus and his gospel and truth and righteousness, so I would suggest here that this is speaking of a false light, a false gospel, and a false faith and salvation. This would be people who profess faith in Jesus Christ but by their lifestyles and their life choices they deny him. They give lip service to him only, but they are still living in sin, doing what their evil hearts desire, and they are not living for the Lord, even though they profess to know him.

So, the warning or the caution here is to make certain that we have received within us the true light and not a false light, which is really darkness disguised as light. And receiving the true light is not just words we say. It is living out the truth of what the Word teaches us regarding how we ought to live in our daily lives. Again, I am not saying we must be perfect in every way. But sin should no longer be our master to where we are habitually and deliberately yielding to the sin and not to God and to his righteousness.

[Matt 7:21-23; Matt 24:9-14; Lu 9:23-26; Rom 1:18-32; Rom 2:6-8; Rom 6:1-23; Rom 8:1-14,24; Rom 12:1-2; Rom 13:11; 1 Co 6:9-10,19-20; 2 Co 5:10,15,21; 1 Co 1:18; 1 Co 15:1-2; 2 Tim 1:8-9; Heb 9:28; 1 Pet 1:5; Gal 5:16-21; Gal 6:7-8; Eph 2:8-10; Eph 4:17-32; Eph 5:3-6; Col 1:21-23; Col 3:5-17; 1 Pet 2:24; Tit 2:11-14; 1 Jn 1:5-9; 1 Jn 2:3-6,24-25; 1 Jn 3:4-10; Heb 3:6,14-15; Heb 10:23-31; Heb 12:1-2; Rev 21:8,27; Rev 22:14-15]

Morning & Evening for 05/30/2023

Illustration of Song of Solomon 2:15

Morning:

"Take us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vines." — Song of Solomon 2:15
A little thorn may cause much suffering. A little cloud may hide the sun. Little foxes spoil the vines; and little sins do mischief to the tender heart. These little sins burrow in the soul, and make it so full of that which is hateful to Christ, that he will hold no comfortable fellowship and communion with us. A great sin cannot destroy a Christian, but a little sin can make him miserable. Jesus will not walk with his people unless they drive out every known sin. He says, "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love, even as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love." Some Christians very seldom enjoy their Saviour's presence. How is this? Surely it must be an affliction for a tender child to be separated from his father. Art thou a child of God, and yet satisfied to go on without seeing thy Father's face? What! thou the spouse of Christ, and yet content without his company! Surely, thou hast fallen into a sad state, for the chaste spouse of Christ mourns like a dove without her mate, when he has left her. Ask, then, the question, what has driven Christ from thee? He hides his face behind the wall of thy sins. That wall may be built up of little pebbles, as easily as of great stones. The sea is made of drops; the rocks are made of grains: and the sea which divides thee from Christ may be filled with the drops of thy little sins; and the rock which has well nigh wrecked thy barque, may have been made by the daily working of the coral insects of thy little sins. If thou wouldst live with Christ, and walk with Christ, and see Christ, and have fellowship with Christ, take heed of "the little foxes that spoil the vines, for our vines have tender grapes." Jesus invites you to go with him and take them. He will surely, like Samson, take the foxes at once and easily. Go with him to the hunting.

Illustration of Romans 6:6

Evening:

"That henceforth we should not serve sin." — Romans 6:6
Christian, what hast thou to do with sin? Hath it not cost thee enough already? Burnt child, wilt thou play with the fire? What! when thou hast already been between the jaws of the lion, wilt thou step a second time into his den? Hast thou not had enough of the old serpent? Did he not poison all thy veins once, and wilt thou play upon the hole of the asp, and put thy hand upon the cockatrice's den a second time? Oh, be not so mad! so foolish! Did sin ever yield thee real pleasure? Didst thou find solid satisfaction in it? If so, go back to thine old drudgery, and wear the chain again, if it delight thee. But inasmuch as sin did never give thee what it promised to bestow, but deluded thee with lies, be not a second time snared by the old fowler- be free, and let the remembrance of thy ancient bondage forbid thee to enter the net again! It is contrary to the designs of eternal love, which all have an eye to thy purity and holiness; therefore run not counter to the purposes of thy Lord. Another thought should restrain thee from sin. Christians can never sin cheaply; they pay a heavy price for iniquity. Transgression destroys peace of mind, obscures fellowship with Jesus, hinders prayer, brings darkness over the soul; therefore be not the serf and bondman of sin. There is yet a higher argument: each time you "serve sin" you have "Crucified the Lord afresh, and put him to an open shame." Can you bear that thought? Oh! if you have fallen into any special sin during this day, it may be my Master has sent this admonition this evening, to bring you back before you have backslidden very far. Turn thee to Jesus anew; he has not forgotten his love to thee; his grace is still the same. With weeping and repentance, come thou to his footstool, and thou shalt be once more received into his heart; thou shalt be set upon a rock again, and thy goings shall be established.

My Marriage

Christian brothers and sisters,

Please be in prayer for me and for my husband Rick, for we still have a very broken marriage, which has been broken the whole of our 50 years of marriage. And it is still in the bad condition it has always been in. So what we have is not a marriage and it has never been a biblical marriage. What we have are two separate people living separate lives who share a few things in common, like our kids and our grandkids, but we are going opposite directions. We are on friendly terms most of the time, but there is no real connection there. And this is not an area where there can be compromise, for this is not about trivial stuff like just differences of opinion over things. And nothing that I am saying here about our situation is being hidden from my husband, either, for this is a subject that we talk about here and there, for it is an ongoing situation that never ends. So there are no surprises here. And he and I talked about this again in the past couple of hours. He knows he is doing wrong to me and to God, even though he professes faith in Jesus Christ. And all I am asking of you at this time is just to pray. I am just saying we need prayer.

Thank you. Sue

P.S. I usually post in the devotions and blog sections of CF, in case you don't know who I am.

Hi all!

Hi everyone! I’m glad to have found these forums. I’m a 29 year-old living in a rural area of Maryland with my husband and our blessing of a son, who is 10 months-old. I’m a therapist full-time, and in my free time I like to cook and spend time with my family. Thank you for welcoming me!

Health and Fitness Goals

We had a really good sermon this Sunday at my church addressing the confession of sins and anticipating pitfalls so we can avoid habitual sin. If you're interested, here is the link to the video: Sermon on Sin

As I reflected, I believe a great habitual sin of mine is unhealthfulness. This can be laziness, gluttony, poor food choices, or just not drinking enough water. It opened the floor for a great conversation between my dad and I (he is also a binge eater), and we've renewed some goals for improving our health in non-drastic ways intended to anticipate pitfalls and stop them from happening. This is a huge positive change for our mindset because in the past we've fallen into a lot of crash dieting, way too intense exercise routines, fasting, etc that only last a short while before inevitable burn-out.

I've had similar conversations with several of you, so I know this is a problem and goal I share with some of you. So let's help one-another and be accountable to each other! Use this thread to share your pitfalls/solutions, goals, progress, or seek advice for your health and fitness journey! I'll share the pitfalls/goals I've identified so far in a subsequent post since this one is already a bit long :) Just imagine how much better we would feel by the end of the year if we really worked to fight against this area of sinfulness in our lives! Let's do it!

Release the Biden tapes

Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley revealed during an explosive U.S. Senate floor speech Monday that the Burisma executive behind an alleged Biden pay-to-play scandal allegedly kept 15 audio recordings of conversations between him and Hunter Biden and two recordings of conversations between him and then-Vice President Joe Biden as an “insurance policy.”

Open-Air Preaching at the Indy 500!!!

Hi, y'all!! I was invited to the Indy 500 to evangelize and open-air preach, so I'd like to share a video I made that includes a small clip of me open-air preaching (more like public reading of scripture) along with sharing my thoughts and prayerfully it'll be encouraging for you! Just remember, the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. :)

Rep. James Comer claims more evidence for Biden bribery allegation

On Monday, Comer tweeted that “the FBI has told me there are more 1023 forms” and vowed: “I will be granted access to these additional docs. [The committee] will get answers.”
Last week, the FBI relented to a subpoena demand from Comer and agreed to permit all members of the Oversight panel to read the FD-1023 following a multi-week standoff between the bureau and the committee that culminated in a contempt threat against FBI Director Christopher Wray.
I am glad to see some compliance by the FBI without Congress having to order that Mr. Wray be taken in to custody by the House Sergeant of Arms. Bribery of a now president is a serious charge and Americans deserve answers.

Greetings all

Hi there,
I'm not terribly good with introductions so I apologize in advance. I started driving truck about 3 years ago, that in and of itself was stressful at first, coupled with the extremely long late nights I became chronically ill. Thankfully I've settled in, made schedule changes, and have recovered physically, but during that time the longing for God really began to rise in me and Christian radio became an important part of my life on the road, and my faith has been growing steadily. I'm looking to engage in fellowship now, and here I'm sure will be good for that, and also for advice on how to find a good church, as I'm sure pretty much everyone here will have more experience at that than me (I've been ~4 times in my life).
Look forward to foruming with ya'll!

WILL YOU BE KNOWN IN HEAVEN ?

I believe that all believers will be known in HEAVEN ?

Matt 8:11 says that God says says that many shall come from the EAST and the WEST , and shall SIT down with ABRAHAM , and ISAAC and Jacob , in the kingdom of Heaven and will see and speak to those that they have read about .

#1 So will we be known by name also ??

I dont intend this to be sexist in any way, i need advice.

I don't mean this post to be sexist and I don't intend to offend anyone with my post I just need some actual Biblical advice here. I'd like whatever your response is to have scripture to back it up I don't want people's personal views I want to do what the word of God says to do in this situation not the word of man. I'm just not 100% educated on what the Bible says about this sensitive subject.

That said, here I go. My wife and I have been married for 8 years and together for almost 10. During those 10 years my wife/gf did not work because she believes that the word of God says that women should not work hut instead be keepers of home and children (she doesn't do that either but we cut each other a lot of slack)

Right now my wife and I are in debt about $4,000 which to a disabled person who only makes $900 a month is a lot of money. It would take over a year to pay off and the interest on my credit cards are about 20-25% because i went bankrupt last year.

It'll cost me thousands to pay them off and I'm starting to wonder if maybe my wife can get a job to help us out.

But, I'm supposed to be the sole provider. I cannot hold a job which is why I get help from the government to begin with because I'm schizophrenic and bipolar. I go manic 3-4 times a year sometimes for months at a time. So it's impossible for me to keep a job if sometimes I cannot work for months at a time. Because not only do I get manic but I also get psychotic at times too. Sometimes the lack of sleep that I get from being manic causes my schizophrenia to act up. I'm on meds and everything or i probably would be in a mental hospital for the rest of my life.

So I'm just wondering if my wife brought home minimum wage together we might be able to pay the 4k off in 4-6 months saving me a lot of my ssi check. Not to mention car insurance food and many of the other bills that I have to pay out of pocket for every month. Tbch i feel stuck.

But if it's God's will that my wife remain unemployed I don't want to go against his will. After all it's been his will for almost 10 years now. I need biblical advice on this subject. What does everybody think?

Americans are drinking as much alcohol now as in Civil War days

The COVID-19 pandemic prompted a fresh round of policy aimed at making liquor more accessible.

When the pandemic hit, most states declared that liquor stores were essential businesses. That decision came partly to aid people with alcohol use disorder who otherwise might have gone into withdrawal, and partly to keep casual drinkers happy.

“It became a heck of a lot easier to get alcohol. We introduced home delivery and carryout cocktails,” Jernigan said. “Now, you have DoorDash, Grubhub, Uber: Anybody can deliver alcohol to your door.”

Researchers feared the new rules made it too easy to get alcohol. They tested the delivery services in Massachusetts.

“One of my colleagues,” Jernigan said, “they delivered alcohol to her 10-year-old.”

Ramped-up marketing efforts, increased affordability, the COVID pandemic and changing norms for women all help explain why alcohol consumption is rising — at a time when waves of research suggest drinking causes more harm than good.

Alcohol is so easy to get with all the Chinese drug companies shipping it to the Mexican cartels who may or may not be funded by Hunter Biden.
This is really silly. Alcohol is naturally occurring and very easy to make. Alcohol is so easy to make, they make "toilet wine" in prisons.

Take 5 gallons of hot water and put it into a five gallon bucket with a lid with five lbs of sugar, stir, or don't, who cares. When it is warm throw in some yeast. Any yeast, who cares. Put lid on bucket. Shove an ice pick, or knife, or anything to make a little hole in the lid.'
In a week you'll have 5-6% alcohol, just a bit more than regular beer. Add another 5 lbs of sugar for the true college experience.
