There’s a new app in town. Have you heard?

Tea, an app that allows women to post pictures of men they’re dating for feedback, is going viral. Tea is now the No. 1 lifestyle app in the App Store, with over 1 million women signing up over the past week. Marketed as an online dating safety app, Tea allows its users to post photos of men and ask others for “tea” — in other words, dirt or gossip — on them. It is gaining popularity on TikTok, particularly among Gen Z users.

Unlike dating apps, the purpose of Tea is to verify the identity of people on match-making apps. It’s not doing anything new — there have long been Facebook groups where women share pictures of men they’re dating to check for red flags.

Powered by AI-driven safety technology and real-time identity verification tools, the aim is for women to have the power to discreetly check that the men they’re dating are who they say.

Features include reverse image search, with users able to catch catfish and fake profiles by dropping a screenshot into Tea’s Catfish Finder AI. Phone number lookup helps verify if someone has a hidden marriage or concerning history with their phone number. Background checks include the ability to access public records, sex offender maps and criminal history to assess if your date is safe to meet up with in real life.

The app includes an anonymous space where women can share dating experiences, ask for advice and leave honest feedback on past partners called Tea Party Group Chat. The Tea app is for women only. The app uses an identity verification process to ensure only women are joining.

President Donald Trump and top White House health officials faced criticism from the World Health Organization for a press conference earlier this week that floated potential ties between the skyrocketing rates of autism and pregnant women's use of the common pain reliever acetaminophen, also known as Tylenol.

The World Health Organization issued a statement Wednesday asserting "that there is currently no conclusive scientific evidence confirming a possible link between autism and use of acetaminophen (also known as paracetamol) during pregnancy."

During a press conference at the White House on Monday to announce their Autism Action Plan, President Donald Trump and health officials announced a potential association between Tylenol use during pregnancy and adverse neurological outcomes such as ADHD and autism. They also promoted leucovorin, a form of folinic acid used as an off-label cancer drug, as a potential treatment for autism.

2025 marks the first time in more than 30 years that left-wing attacks outnumber those from the far right.

The year 2016 was a turning point for left-wing terrorism, even as right-wing incidents remained much more common. Trump’s political ascent and the expansion of the MAGA movement seem to have reenergized left-wing violent extremism, which accounted for 37 incidents from 2016 to 2024, most of them motivated by either anti-government or partisan sentiment. By July 4 of this year, far-left extremists had already been responsible for five terrorist attacks and plots...

A fertility medicine doctor, Dr. Michelle Vu, also posted a video on TikTok of herself taking Tylenol, saying "my baby won't have autism," prompting criticism from some users on X. One user wrote: "This is a doctor, mind you! Are you kidding me? Why is she allowed to practice?! Disgusting."

Trump's statement has caused a major divide online, with some, including doctors, concerned about the impacts the announcement will have, while others have criticized the pregnant women.

As Tylenol helps to reduce fever in pregnancy, some have warned that advising women not to take the relief could result in "fetal neurological maldevelopment," as high fever during pregnancy has been linked to an increased risk of birth defects.

Although, as more and more videos appear to be circulating the internet, doctors have called for these women taking Tylenol just to "stick it to Trump" to stop.

Dr. Nicole Saphier, a Fox News contributor and radiologist, wrote in a post, which accumulated more than 1.5 million views, on X: "Don't weaponize your pregnancy for a political point."

Don Lemon calls ceremony a 'political rally dressed as church'

Former CNN host Don Lemon says a memorial service held in honor of slain Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was, in fact, a thinly-veiled “political rally dressed as church.”

Lemon, 59, who is best known for hosting "Don Lemon Tonight" and later co-hosting "CNN This Morning” before he was fired in 2023, made the comments in a Sept. 22 livestream in which he took aim at Sunday’s memorial for Kirk held in Glendale, Arizona.

Kirk was assassinated Sept. 10 at the hands of an alleged 22-year-old shooter at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

Speakers who were on hand to recognize Kirk’s legacy included political leaders, White House cabinet officials, Turning Point USA and TPUSA Faith employees and conservative media influencers, as well as musical performances by prominent Christian artists.

Lemon said he began questioning the true intent of the service — which featured appearances by President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Kirk’s widow, Erika — after he was prompted by a friend’s text about Kirk being a “person of faith.”

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt called for the firing and investigation of those responsible for a stalled escalator that carried President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump at Tuesday’s United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

The escalator malfunction occurred before Trump addressed the General Assembly in New York, and he and the first lady were forced to walk up the stalled machine before making his remarks to other world leaders.

"If someone at the UN intentionally stopped the escalator as the President and First Lady were stepping on, they need to be fired and investigated immediately," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt posted on X in response to a Times of London article published Sunday.

In one of his final acts as the bishop of Monterey, California, Bishop Daniel Garcia issued a letter terminating the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM) in the diocese “in order to strengthen our unity with the universal Church” and “to support [Pope Francis’] goal of moving toward greater unity in the postconciliar Roman rite.”

Garcia issued the letter to the Latin Mass community, located at Sacred Heart Church in Hollister, California, on Sept. 14, four days before he was installed as the new bishop of Austin, Texas.

In the letter, Garcia expressed his concern that the pastor at Sacred Heart, Father Stephen Akers, be “able to give his full attention to the entire parish rather than taking his limited time spent with a small group of individuals who are not worshipping according to ordinary (and one) rite of the Latin Church,” as the number of those who attend the “preconciliar” Mass is “very small.”

Garcia cited Pope Francis’ motu proprio Traditionis Custodes as well as the “Letter to the Bishops of the Whole World” that accompanied it, which addressed “the rare situation” of the Church “having two liturgies being celebrated in the one Latin rite.”

I think it's very easy to get caught up the things we don't have, much to the detriment of the things we do have.

First of all I am grateful the Lord has blessed me with another day in His creation.

I am grateful for another day to better know He that provides and sustains.

I am grateful for my job even though I feel tired and don't like getting up early, I am grateful I have an income.

I am grateful for my health. I am not without health problems, but I can function, work, worship and hopefully contribute to those around me.

I am grateful for friends I can fellowship with, whose friendship brings my gaze back to Christ through His reflection in them and their deeds.

I know I am not alone in taking the good for granted, and I am going to be making a conscious effort to be more grateful throughout each day.

I just finished making a new chart on the crowns/no crowns on the 7 heads of the beast. Hopefully, this new chart will make the understanding very clear.

Regarding the heads as kings, Revelation 17, Revelation 12, Revelation 13 cover three distinct periods.

Revelation 17 at the time of John, 1st century
Revelation 12 is the final 7 years before Jesus returns
Revelation 13 is the final 42 months before Jesus returns.

The seven heads do not have crowns on them in Revelation 17, 1st century, at the time of John, because the prophecy of the seven kings is incomplete at that time. King 7 was still future of John's time.

10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. (a short space of 42 months)

The seven heads do have crowns on them in Revelation 12, at the start of the 7 years before Jesus's return. Because King 7 will have come to power, completing the prophecy of the 7 kings.

King 7 then comes back to life to become King 8, the beast (the beast king of Revelation 17:11). The beast king will be empowered by Satan, the scarlet colored beast of Revelation 17:3. Read Revelation 13:4.

ROSH HaSHANNAH or YOM TERUAH

This is the first of the Fall Feasts or Festivals. Leviticus 23:24 reads:

"In the Seventh month, on the first of the month, you will have a Shabbat rest, a remembrance of Shofar blowing, a Holy gathering."

Many think that this is a "Jewish" appointed day of celebration, but no, it is a "Biblical" appointed day, for ALL believers. It just started with the Jewish people. Yet we are free to choose, we can honor and celebrate it, or let it pass by like any other day. We all have the freedom of choice. We cannot judge one another; some will celebrate, and others will not. Let the Holy Spirit be our guide. In this Messianic subForum, I am hoping that all will celebrate it.

Today, September 23rd, is indeed the First of Nissan. The first day of the seventh month (according to the Hebrew calendar). So, Happy "Day of Shofar blowing", Happy New Year." In the Hebrew calendar, there are basically "two new years". One is in April, during Passover time, the "Religious New Year" for counting the months. Today, is the "geophysical new year", according to Hebraic tradition. This was the time the Earth was created by God, 5786 years ago (according to tradition). I believe we also have different "new years". There is the Gregorian New Year on January 1st. There is a new "School Year" that many start in September. There is a "New Fiscal Year" for businesses for accounting purposes. This is also a "New Year" for agricultural purposes, too (always connected to the earth).

This is a time of reflection. The king is coming. King Yeshua/Jesus. How do you want Him to find you? Where are you? Where are you supposed to be? Are you where you are supposed to be? Spiritually speaking? You know what is right and wrong. You know what the Bible teaches. Adonai’s instructions speak loud and clear, in black and white. Is there interference? Static? If we are not where we need to be, we must “Shoov” ourselves around before we end up in the deep end without knowing how to swim. The Hebrew word "Shoov" means "To return, or turn around, go back"

We must “turn” “repent” have a “change of mind and heart. We must “turn” and “return” back to the basics of the faith, back to the Torah of Adonai. If you fail and test, you must “return” to the books and study some more. You forgot your car keys, so you “return” to your house to get them. Or else, the car isn’t going anywhere, and neither are you. If our carnal self has overpowered us and is warring against our spiritual nature, then you must “return” to Yeshua, and repent of our sins. He told the adulterous woman, “I forgive you, go and sin no more”. Forgiveness and a change of heart and mind go together.

We also know the story of the Prodigal Son, who "returned" to his father. The father forgave him. He did not lose his "sonship," yet he did lose blessings; he squandered his inheritance, but he was still forgiven.

The blowing of the Shofar is a "wake-up call." It is a time for "renewed life". Adam received the "breath of life" when God breathed into his nostrils. A shofar is blown using our breath. Our breath is passed through a narrow opening in the shofar and resonates throughout the whole horn, thus producing a loud sound, a sound of praise from a "God made" instrument. It can be made from the horn of a ram or from a "Kudu" (an African antelope), look it up on Google images.

So, this is preparation for us, a call of warning and a call of praise. The King is coming back, real soon. Are you ready to receive him? to go with him? He is gathering his own. WASHINGTON, Sept 22 (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Monday said that "all options" were on the table for stabilizing Argentina, including swap lines and direct currency purchases, while underscoring President Donald Trump's confidence in Argentine President Javier Milei and his economic team.

Argentine financial assets rallied on Monday on the news, with U.S.-traded stocks up over 10% and the peso strengthening, after sharp drops in recent weeks that included international bonds declining more than 20% for the year through Friday.

Markets have been roiled by corruption allegations inside Milei's circle and a larger-than-expected loss in a local election in Buenos Aires, reflecting growing frustration with austerity measures and triggering investor concern over Milei's ability to continue to reshape the economy, with October midterm elections on the horizon.

Bessent, a former hedge fund executive, said he did not see a risk of financial contagion from the fallout and underlined Washington's confidence in Argentina's implementation of economic reforms.

Argentina in April signed a new $20 billion four-year loan deal with the IMF, where the U.S. is the biggest shareholder. The deal required the country to dismantle years-long currency controls and loosen its grip on the peso, but economists say the currency remains overvalued.

A court has ruled that a couple’s lawsuit against a Michigan school district over concealing their daughter’s gender identity change from them can proceed.

Dan and Jennifer Mead filed a complaint against Rockford Public School District officials over its policy of keeping their daughter’s self-declared gender identity a secret from her parents.

United States District Judge Paul Maloney, a George W. Bush appointee, issued an opinion and order last week that partly denied and granted a motion to dismiss the lawsuit.

Maloney wrote that the lawsuit “contains sufficient factual allegations to support a claim for a violation of Plaintiffs’ fundamental rights as parents in the care, custody and control of their child, a right protected by the Fourteenth Amendment.”

This may look like "school" but I can't help it.

There are some adult faith formation opportunities at the parish closest to me. I'm interested in one or two of them but I'm getting very nervous at the thought of them. It's the same kind of "stage fright" nerves that I had in school. It's a very large parish (population-wise) and I feel that going to these things is doomed because (1) It will probably be compromised of parishioners and not outsiders and (2) It will probably be compromised of parishioners already in their cliques and I will find it intimidating to try to sit somewhere. You would think that I grew out of this stuff after seventh grade - no I didn't.

There is another faith formation opportunity at the parish I was confirmed at and there is a chance I may know a few more faces there, in spite of the cliques. However, the first parish is right around the corner, and I think that place may ultimately be a better fit for me, but I only know the person who is heading the event.

The reason why these matters carry such weight for me is that the church family may be the only family I'll ever have. I want to choose wisely but I can't know if I'm choosing wisely unless I try it out.

* he was a great real estate developer and even looked at redeveloping the UN site. (Who cares? Relevance? Oh yeah - his NPD cares! The world might forget how utterly fantabulous Trump is - so he'd better toot his own trumpet at them! He needs his narcissistic supply and all that.)
