Media mogul Tyler Perry, a professed Christian, has been accused of aggressively sexually assaulting and harassing a male actor and writer who was so traumatized by the alleged ordeal that he walked away from a contract worth nearly $400,000.

Data from the National Survey of Religious Leaders reveals that only 25% of Catholic and mainline Protestant pastors say they firmly believe in a literal Adam and Eve. Among Evangelical pastors, the numbers are somewhat better, but a notable portion still express doubt or uncertainty about whether Adam and Eve were real historical figures.

For some, this may seem like a minor theological point in the broader narrative of Scripture. But in truth, whether Adam and Eve were real people has profound implications for the authority of the Bible, the doctrine of original sin, the credibility of Jesus’ teachings, and the very foundation of the Gospel itself.

Genesis presents Adam and Eve not as metaphorical symbols but as literal individuals created uniquely by God. Genesis 2:7, ESV, says, “Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.”

This verse isn’t written in the style of myth or parable. It’s a clear and deliberate account of the origin of humanity. Later, in Genesis 2:22, the creation of Eve is described in similarly specific terms: “And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man.”

The advantage of having ONE group of people keeping track of ALL the test score results of
ALL American public school students, is that the information if being collated over ALL
American students.

Those voters who wanted the Department of Education (over all students) eliminated seem to want
the LOCAL version to simply be a "portal" that allows parents of school kids in one single
state, to view the test results of their kids, in the context of only students in their state.

I understand that there are many parents of school kids, who THINK that their kids
are better achievers that almost all other school kids. Somewhere, I heard that that
happens. But IT IS USEFUL for parents to understand WHEN their kids are under-achieving,
and need to have remedial teaching efforts kick in.

It is also helpful for parents who are sending their kids to RELIGIOUS schools, to know
when their kids are not deemed competent in some area of learning that is covered by the
non-religious schools, but not as well (or at all) by RELIGIOUS schools.

I like the idea of parents being able to choose which school their kid goes to. BUT...
I don't like the idea of every parent thinking that they have some civil right to determine the
curriculum in the school they send their kids to. AND THAT, INVOLVES REAL IDEOLOGICAL
CONFLICTS.

This is the same CONFLICT that is involved whan some people in a congregation think
that they have the RIGHT to determine the theology that a new pastor will teach, or not
teach (even though many pastors have a much superior education in critical Bible study
skills).

This tacit praise of amateurism, often tends to favor those who are educated. And those who
are educated are often (obviously) those who have embraced the intellect and education. This
means that congregations which foster lifelong learning, are often MUCH BETTER SITUATED
TO DEFEND THEIR BELIEFS (such as in a forum for Christian apologetics), than congregregations
that embrace conspiracy theories or not-reading and life styles that do not involve lifelong
education. Them's the Apples!

What the issue of the recent Department of Education debate is REALLY about, is whether (local)
parents of religious students will HAVE TO deal with the debate/conflict over what RELIGIOUS
parents of students of students THINK IS IMPORTANT for their kids to learn, and be able to explain,
and defend (perhaps). Many parents who attend a Christian school, couldn't be bothered with
working their way through this debate. And this burden of indifferenece of the parents, works
itself down into a type of epigenetic lack of expression of "religious genes" (to make up a new
term), that would probably be APPALLING to earlier generations of American Christians.

CHRISTIAN FAITH!!!

Historic, orthodox Christianity requires that we honetly face up to some conflict
over intellectual topics. No one has invented a "lint-free" orthodox Christian
theology yet, and we are really dumb and naive when people run around claiming that
they have. Or worse, claiming that lint doesn't exist.

Good for them. I bet they are dotting their i’s and crossing their t’s on those I-9’s.

When I woke up this morning I had the phrase “earth angel” in my mind. I know that is a title of a secular song from 1954, which is about someone who is “in love with” someone who he believes is that perfect being who he had always longed for who fulfills all his dreams. But then I got thinking about “earth” (of this world) and “angel” combined together, which made me think of someone who may give the appearance of being “an angel” (of God), but who is still of this world, who is still worldly and not of God.

Now, I know that this says that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, the powers, the world forces, the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (or high) places. And it is true that this is a spiritual battle against spiritual forces of evil, but Satan uses flesh and blood people, many of them who are in positions of rule and authority in the government and in “the church” to attract the people of this earth, including professing Christians, to what is evil and of the devil and not of God.

So, then I got to thinking about “spiritual forces of evil in high places,” and that got me thinking about the church (or what is falsely being referred to as “the church”) and about pastors, elders, bishops, priests, and the Pope, etc. and their positions of power and rule and influence in “the church.” And that got me to thinking about the leaders of our nations who profess faith in Jesus Christ, some or many of them who are worldly and not godly people, and who may be working for these spiritual forces of evil in high places.

And when I thought about the year 1954 (the year “Earth Angel” was released), that led me to the year that the 501c3 was established and began to be adopted by probably most gatherings of what are called “churches” here in America. It was sold to them on the basis of being tax exempt, but the church in America had always been tax exempt. The 501c3, however, incorporates (unites, merges) the church under the state, and it turns “the church” into a place of business, both of which are forbidden by God.

So, in this scenario, “the church” under the 501c3, incorporated under the state, has partnered (united, merged) with and is in fellowship with the world and with the ungodly and with darkness (evil). And God has instructed all who are in such a situation that they must come out from underneath such a union and to touch not what is spiritually unclean. We are to come out from among her, so we don’t share in her sins, for her sins are piled high to heaven. And we are not to turn the church into a place of business.

We are to put to death in our lives what is not of God, and we are to reject al that is of the devil and his lies and his deceptions which are coming to us through his servants and messengers who are disguising themselves as angels of light while truly they are those who serve the devil. For false shepherds of the people abound who are liars, deceivers, manipulators, who fake their Christianity in order to deceive the people with their lies. And they are multiplying, and they are widely being accepted within “the church.”

So, if we are going to be people of God who are armored up with his spiritual armor, so that we are able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil, then we need to be spiritually alert to what those schemes of the devil are so that we will fight against them and not yield to them. And we need to believe what the Scriptures teach, in context, and then follow what they teach us. And we need to be those who are diligent in testing the spirits to see if they are truly of God so that we don’t fall prey to the devil.

For truly the spiritual forces of wickedness are at work in heavenly (high) places, which includes within the gatherings of what are called “churches.” And the devil has his messengers in these places feeding the people of this earth, and people who profess faith in Jesus Christ, with his lies. And so we need to know the truth of what God’s word teaches in context so that we begin putting to death those lies and we come out from among the midst of those who are following after the lies and who are not obeying the truth.

So, just because a pastor or an elder or anyone in a position of power and authority within a gathering of what is being called “the church” professes to be a follower of Christ and a speaker of truth, it doesn’t mean that either is the truth. And just because a political leader in any nation proclaims faith in Jesus Christ and to be a servant of God, it does not mean that he is not of the devil just disguised as a servant of righteousness. So test them all to see if truly they are of the God of the Bible and not the god of this world.

And please know that “the church” is the body of believers in Jesus Christ under the authority of Christ as her only head, and she is not to be partnered with the world in an unholy union via the 501c3, incorporated under the state. And the church is not a building and not a church denomination, but it is the people of genuine biblical faith in the Lord Jesus. And all of us who are of faith in Christ are her ministers, and we all are to be encouraging one another to walk worthy of the calling we have in Christ.

Greetings in the name of Jesus. I have posted this probably a few years ago, but I believe the situation is worsening. I have a friend, named Richard. He is in his mid 60's, not married and no children, and is living alone in an apartment. He has Cerebral Palsy, which means he cannot walk on his own for too long. He used to have an aid that helped him to do exercises, but according to him, she needed financial help.

I am not going into all of the details. This has been going on since 2011 or so. His friend, named Savannah, has been using him left and right. She has been asking for money, especially for rent. Over time, he accumulated tens of thousands of dollars of debt because of her. He got it down to under $10,000, at least that is what he tells me. But over that time, he bought her 3 cars, paid a lot of money in rent, and paid a vocation that cost him $6,000 in credit card debt. But she is keep using him so he can pay her rent. She has been in trouble with the law, such as driving without a license (which she is still doing), arrested for DUI (and won't get her license back for 3 more years), and I think shoplifting.

But she keeps telling him that she needs the money, or she will go to jail. I keep telling him that she really does display characteristics of a scam artist and a thief. Of all of that time since 2011, she only paid maybe $300 compared to tens of thousands of dollars. She never communicated with him about her expenses or even call him for a friendly chat. I told him that if he, Savannah, my pastor, and I would sit down and discuss about her financial situation, we would of help her more. But she told Richard that she doesn't want anyone to know about it. And because of him helping her, Richard is getting more stressed about his own financial situation. Savannah said that if he stops paying for her rent, she would be homeless and will be in jail because that is one of the conditions that she has when she is on parole.

So please pray that God will deliver Richard out of this situation and please pray for God's wisdom and strength for Richard to make wise financial decisions.

I have been a follower of Christ all my life (was raised in the church by my mother) but gave my life individually to Christ when I was 9. I was diagnosed later in life at 29, although the Holy Spirit confirmed I had autism 10 months earlier. I don't share the belief that autism is some sort of curse or defect. It comes with unique challenges, definitely, and has its negatives. But I also believe there can be blessings and gifts in it and that it's part of who I am. The prophet Zechariah speaks saying: “And many goyim(Gentiles) shall be joined to YHVH in that day, and they shall become MY PEOPLE” (vs 11) But wait a minute, isn’t Israel the people of YHVH? Yes, they will NEVER cease to be, but also, the Gentiles will be “joined with” Israel, and together, AM ECHAD! (One People).

The Torah was given first to the Israelites who left Egypt. At Mt. Sinai, they received the "Marriage Covenant" (The Tablets of the Commandments) and God became the husband and Israel the bride. But we need to remember that a "mixed multitude was included with the 2 to 3 million people. Egyptians, Nubians, Ethiopians, (some of them were also slaves). They were accepted as part of the people.

In Galatians 3:28 The Apostle Paul states that there is "no difference between Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male or female, all are ONE in Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) Not that there is no "physical or cultural difference" he is talking about our spiritual relationship with the LORD.
God does not see a "difference" and will never discriminate, yet will accept ALL as the same when it comes to a salvation experience. That is important and good news for those who think they are "less than" others in importance.

There was a High Priest named Yehoshua, and Zechariah the Prophet describes him as wearing filthy garments, YET, his garments are changed to costly robes, and his GUILT has been removed. Is there a connection between the names “Yehoshua” and “Yeshua”? Yes, they are one and the SAME. Yeshua has removed our GUILT of sin, through his sacrifice on Calvary’s cross. Our filthy garments are now sparkling white. Yes, we still have the stain of original sin, the "Yetzer Hara" in Hebrew, yet in the eyes of God, he sees "clean and white garments" on us all, through the sacrifice of Yeshua.

The stone with seven eyes, what could that be or symbolize? We could say that the Stone is YESHUA the solid ROCK, who is perfect, (illustrated by the number 7) and through His sacrifice of death on the cross, the sin and guilt of the land were removed on that same day! The land can also symbolize the people of that land. The seven eyes can also symbolize the ever-seeing eyes of God, who sees all. Could we say in "7 directions and/or 7 dimensions? Up, Down, North, South, East, West, and Inside of us all.

LUKE 15:1-16:31

Yeshua teaches the Prushim (Pharisees) an important lesson. They were criticizing him for receiving tax collectors, and other “sinners” probably the ones rejected by the religious leaders and listened to Yeshua.

Many came to accept His forgiveness and love. Yes, there is great joy in Heaven when one lost soul comes to accept Yeshua as Messiah and LORD. We ALL need to continue to listen to HIM. It does not stop at accepting Yeshua as LORD, it is only the beginning. We need to grow in faith, and continue to “listen” to Him through His Word and the Holy Spirit. When we mature in faith, we also gain spiritual gifts.

What do we do with them? Do we use them to the glory of God? Or do we ignore them, and let them waste away? What do we do with the possessions that YHVH gives us? Do we use them wisely? Do we use money wisely? Is it really ours? Or is it HIS? Yes, the passage says; “you can not serve two masters” We can only serve one, yet many serve the “money master” We can have it all on this earth, and have very little or nothing in heaven, or…have a little bit on this earth, and have riches in heaven. We need to look at the BIG picture.

Pastor John Amanchukwu accused Saddleback Church founder Rick Warren of encouraging Evangelicals to unite with the Roman Catholic Church, an act he described as “spiritual treason.”

“Once again, Rick Warren is doing what he does best: he’s compromising on the Scripture’s truth and the Gospel,” Amanchukwu said during a Monday post on YouTube titled “Rick Warren’s Dangerous Alliance with Rome — Unity Without Truth.”

Amanchukwu is a preacher and author of the 2022 book Eraced: Uncovering the Lies of Critical Race Theory and Abortion.

Warren drew attention earlier this month for speaking at Global 2033, a Roman Catholic evangelism event in Rome. During an interview with the Catholic network EWTN at the time, Warren said “no single denomination can complete the Great Commission on their own.”

So, first a disclaimer. I do love Israel, out of them came our savior, and because God supports them, I do too.

But God did not choose Israel because they're such wonderful obedient people. In fact, history has shown quite the opposite. Throughout the Old Testament there's the pattern of Israel doubting God, striving against God (in fact, Israel's very name means "one who strives against God" because Jacob wrestled with God in Genesis). God repeatedly chastised them and even cursed them, put them in captivity, released them, they killed His Son, He scattered them, then gathered them back. He repeatedly refers to them as a stiff necked people (Exodus 32-34, Deuteronomy 9, etc), stubborn and rebellious. Yes, Abraham was justified by having faith in God in the first place and that faith was counted for righteousness, and was obedient even to the point of being willing to sacrifice his miraculously born son Isaac.

But that one example, followed by a deliberately stiffnecked, willful, and rebellious people.

Is it possible that God did not choose them because they're such wonderful people but because they represent what can be the worst of us as people, to magnify His grace by showing He can do something wonderful with the worst rebels?

I got on this line of thinking after hearing a Jewish man talk about eschatology in a podcast. Where, if a prophecy from God is good... then it's for sure going to happen, but if it's bad, well then, that's something they have to bargain with God about. I was kinda gobstopped. This idea that God pronounces judgement and a Jew's response is.. strive against God, bargain with Him, try to change His mind.

To me that just seems nonsensical, it's the Lord right? We can't bargain with the Lord and change His mind!

But then he went on to explain. Noah, represents the Gentiles, God said there's judgement, build an ark, and Noah built the ark and did what the Lord said, everyone but 8 people perished. God said He would destroy Sodom.... and Abraham bargained with God. There it was from the beginning of the Hebrews, Abraham striving against God, trying to change God's mind... God actually kinda acquiesced to it, but never found the 10 righteous people in Sodom to prevent its destruction.

Peter also is an example of this. When Jesus explains He'll be killed in Matthew 16, Peter tries to rebuke Jesus. This is just after Peter had confessed the Jesus is the Son of God! So Peter... knowingly tried to rebuke and bargain with God! Peter was not only given grace for that, but even had leadership among the apostles!

It's really rather astounding that God has responded to people trying to bargain with Him with just.. more grace, and even favor.

Of course then there's Jonah who was definitely worse for wear trying to defy God.. but .. Jonah's still a prophet, still cited by Jesus as such.

so what do you think? Why did God choose stiffnecked, rebellious people who try to rebuke Him and bargain with Him?

Asking for prayer for healing. I have a lot of health conditions that slow me down- my acid reflux damaged my esophagus, makes it hard to keep on weight, and damaged my vocal cords. With my vocal cords damaged, I'm lucky if I can finish a single worship song without pain. As well, I suffer from carpal tunnel and repetitive strain injury and it makes it hard to do things like clean the house and volunteer. Asking for healing all over so I can get a life back and do more for Jesus. Thanks!

According to the Louisa County Sheriff's Office, reports of child abuse and endangerment were made at the Shekinah Glory Camp of the Kingdom Ministry of Rehabilitation and Recreation. The sheriff's office says, in collaboration with the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services, Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and Columbus Junction Police Department, 88 children were taken into protective custody.

Yes, this is about American Politics.

In short:
Landers, seeing that immigrants were called to hearings, learning the cases against them were
dismissed, were then apprehended by ICE agents on the way out the door, ready to deport them without due process.

As many churches encourage volunteers to do, Landers would accompany frightened immigrants, walking out arm and arm with them to protect them.

ICE noticed his presence and decided they would show them what happens to American citizens who prevent unconstitutional deportations from occurring.

Fortunately, Gov. Kathy Hochul got the charges dropped.

Horrific.

Imagine telling a poor girl who had been raped that the resulting pregnancy was "the child of her sin". Lord have mercy.
