  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Curses and Judgements

Deuteronomy 28:15-68 lists out a bunch of curses that would befall Israel if they were to not obey God and it says, "And they shall be upon you for a sign and a wonder, and on your descendants forever" in verse 46.

Then you have verses like, "
Do not be overly wicked,
Nor be foolish:
Why should you die before your time?" From Ecclesiastes 7:17

And

Psalm 55:23-
"But You, O God, shall bring them down to the pit of destruction;
Bloodthirsty and deceitful men shall not live out half their days;
But I will trust in You."

So there is an impression that sin does lead to an early grave. But it can't be ALL sin, because clearly we see people who reject Christ are living in their 80's and onwards. My own grandfather lived to be 99 and wanted nothing to do with God his whole life. That's where we have this verse:

"If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that." 1 John 5:16

So then what sin would lead to an early life that is cut off? Also, theres something else I need to add to this which is concerning the last supper. Paul says,

"27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For he who eats and drinks]in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30 For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep (died). 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
33 Therefore, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another. 34 But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest you come together for judgment. And the rest I will set in order when I come." - 1 Corinthians 11:27-34

So people clearly died as a judgement for how they were taking this command. People literally got sick and died. So I guess my question, putting this all together is, that if someone dies early from sickness or disease, there is a possibility that it was rooted in judgement. Do you agree with that? And also, what would the sin that leads to death be? There has to be more than 1 since people died from being disrespectful (unworthy manner) when partaking in the last supper. Thoughts?

Since July 1, Trump has referred to the U.S. having "no inflation" 11 times at eight events -- the facts show different

President Donald Trump says the US has ‘no inflation.’ By 2 measures, he’s wrong.

On Sept. 19, while meeting reporters in the Oval Office, Trump referenced his tariff policy, saying, "Even people that were against the tariffs, now they see the way they're working. And by the way, with no inflation, with no problem, we're just building up cash and we're using that cash to reduce taxes, reduce debt, and other things."

First a little sidebar on tariffs:

Inflation could be a third lower without tariffs, financial decision makers say

Chief financial officers estimate tariffs are to blame for about one-third of their companies’ price growth this year, according to The CFO Survey issued by Duke University and the Federal Reserve Banks of Richmond and Atlanta.

Ok, back to 'no inflation':

It wasn’t the first time he said that. Since July 1, Trump has referred to the U.S. having "no inflation" 11 times at eight events — a radio interview, a bill signing, bilateral meetings with a foreign leader, gaggles with reporters, a Cabinet meeting, and a roundtable in Florida.

In a Sept. 12 interview with Fox News, he hedged slightly, saying, "We have almost no inflation anymore."

Trump is wrong by the literal inflation rate. In August, the year-over-year consumer price index increase was 2.9%, just a hair lower than its 3% level when Trump began his second term.

Going straight to the BEA for the government's preferred inflation index, it's apparent that the advent of the Trump Administration really has done nothing at all for inflation. If you say it's going down, you're full of beans. If you say it's going up, you're full of beans. That's a pretty flat line.

We Partake of God’s Tenderness

We Partake of God’s Tenderness

St. Peter writes that Christians are to have a “tender heart.”[269] With Mary, we receive and respond to God’s tenderness in our encounters with Him—in His Word, in the Eucharist, and in the Love Crucified Community.

The Simple Path to Union with God (p. 278). Kindle Edition.

When we pray and give time to Our Lord, something profound begins to unfold. In the depths of our souls, the Holy Spirit works in secret. We may not feel it, see it, or even believe that we are experiencing God’s healing love. Yet prayer deepens our self-knowledge, bringing us face to face with our own woundedness, which can be painful. Still, prayer is doing its work. God is light, truth, and healing fire—something we must endure as we draw closer to the ‘Burning Bush’.

This journey is about a relationship with Jesus, who leads us into the mystery of the Holy Trinity. Growth is slow, but in our depths, much is happening. It is hidden, because if we were aware, we might interfere. How we treat others, how we see and judge them, becomes a reflection of the healing taking place within us. We are called to tenderness toward all. This is a gift of God’s grace—not a product of willpower, which eventually fails and teaches us that we cannot do it on our own.

Self-knowledge brings us to a place of humility, where we begin to understand that we all struggle and fail. The road to inner freedom—the death to self—is a lifelong journey.

Make Sure No One Deceives You

“Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin. No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him. Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.” (1 John 3:4-10 NASB1995)

The primary gospel message being taught and accepted in the USA today, and perhaps throughout the world, is a diluted and altered “gospel” created in the minds of humans who remove Scriptures from their biblical context, and who twist them to teach what they do not say if taught in the correct biblical context, while they also ignore all the Scriptures that teach what they choose not to believe. And this is being done deliberately, from the top down, for the purpose to deceive and to lead people away from true faith.

Now, not everyone who believes the lies are those who are willfully trying to deceive people and to turn them away from genuine faith in the Lord Jesus, but many are. There are multitudes of people who are malicious, morally unclean, deceivers, manipulators, opportunists, liars, and the untrustworthy, who are egocentric, who fake their Christianity for the sole purpose to deceive the unsuspecting and the naïve with their half-truth lies. And they and their false gospel message are rapidly multiplying and deceiving.

So, what are the lies which they are spreading in the name of Jesus Christ, and in the name of the gospel of our salvation? The liars have reduced the message of the gospel to a mere profession (confession) of faith in Jesus Christ, but with no biblical requirements that we must put sin to death in our lives and that we must walk in obedience to our Lord and to his commands, in lifestyle (in practice), for us to be of genuine faith which saves and which assures us of eternal life with God. For they call that “works salvation.”

But the gospel message taught by Jesus, and by his New Testament apostles, teach us that faith which saves puts sin to death, by the Spirit, and it obeys God and his commandments, in practice. For the faith to believe in Christ is not of our own doing, not of the will of the flesh, but it is gifted to us by God. And it is persuaded of God as to his holiness and righteousness, and of our sinfulness, and of God’s requirement that we deny self, die to sin (not just once, but daily), and that we walk (in conduct, in practice) in obedience to his commands in holy living, or we don’t have life with him.

For the whole purpose of Jesus’ death and resurrection was to put our sins to death with him, and to rise from the dead victorious over our sins, so that, by biblical God-gifted faith in Jesus Christ we will now die to sin and live for God in walks of surrender to his will, in submission to his Lordship, and in obedience to his commands in holy living. Our lives are no longer to be our own, for we were bought back for God (redeemed by the blood of Christ) so that we will now honor God with our lives in walks of obedience to our Lord.

Therefore, please be aware that if sin is what you practice, and not obedience to the Lord and to his commands, in holy living, that you do not know God, and you are not in a relationship with Jesus Christ, and you do not have salvation from sin nor the hope of eternal life with God. For it is the one who practices righteousness who is righteous in the eyes of the Lord. And the one who practices sin (deliberately and habitually) is of the devil, not a child of God. Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who deliberately sins against others, and does not love.

Seek the Lord

Musical Instrumentation by Mark Bradley

“Come to Me all you who thirst; come to waters.
Listen to Me, and eat what’s good today,
And your soul will delight in richest of fare.
Give ear to Me, and you will live.
I have made an eternal covenant with you.
Wash in the blood of the Lamb.”

Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him.
Let the wicked forsake his way, in truth.
Let him turn to the Lord, and he will receive mercy.
Freely, God pardons him.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,”
declares the Lord, our God.

“My word that goes out of My mouth is truthful.
It will not return to Me unfulfilled.
My word will accomplish all that I desire,
And achieve the goal I intend.
You will go in joy and be led forth in peace.
The mountains will burst into song… before you,
And all of the trees clap their hands.”

Gaza’s only Catholic priest: ‘For mercy’s sake stop this war and stop killing people’

“Everyone here is pleading for mercy: to take pity, for mercy, for compassion, for them to stop this war, for them to stop shooting… for them to stop killing people, for them to stop bombing,” the only parish priest in Gaza, Father Gabriel Romanelli, said in a video he posted Sept. 23.

“There are stories that are terrible, there are stories that are truly terrible. People are deeply distressed and implore God to take pity, to have mercy on everyone, and they also implore taking pity on everyone, so that for the love of God this war may end,” the priest continued.

In a video that begins with the reaction of the faithful, including a child who seems frightened by a nearby explosion, the priest lamented that in Gaza “the bombing continues, it’s very heavy and ongoing, it sounds very loud, shrapnel and sounds come, even though some are 200, 300 meters away, 500 meters, 700 meters away, it sounds very loud, not to even imagine what it’s like for the people who are next to them or are in those places. Every day there are deaths and more deaths.”

His Anointing Teaches You

“These things I have written to you concerning those who are trying to deceive you. As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.
“Now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming. If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone also who practices righteousness is born of Him.” (1 John 2:26-29 NASB1995)

When we believe in Jesus Christ with biblical God-persuaded and God-gifted faith in him, we die with Christ to sin and we are raised with Christ to walk in newness of life in him, no longer to live as slaves to sin, but as slaves to God and to his righteousness. We are no longer to permit sin to reign in our mortal bodies to make us obey its desires. For if sin is what we obey, it results in death. But if obedience to God is what we obey, it results in sanctification, and its end is eternal life with God (see Romans 6:1-23).

But that isn’t all that happens to us. By faith in Jesus Christ we enter into a spiritual marriage relationship with the Lord, with Christ as our husband, and with us as his bride. And we are to love him and to be faithful to him and to show him honor, as a wife would with her husband. And when we believe in Jesus, we are indwelt with the Holy Spirit, who is our teacher, our counselor, our encourager, and our guide who leads us into all truth and who reminds us of the teachings of Christ, and of his New Testament apostles, too.

The anointing which we have received from God, by biblical faith in the Lord Jesus, is the Holy Spirit within us, and it is our salvation from our slavery (addiction) to sin, and it is the empowerment of God to now live holy lives, pleasing to God, in the power of God, by his Spirit, because of God’s grace. But when this says here that “you have no need for anyone to teach you,” I believe this is in reference to the fact that we no longer must receive God’s words to us through a prophet, now that we have the Holy Spirit within us.

But this doesn’t do away with all teaching, for within the body of Christ are those who are gifted with the gift of teaching, and John was obviously teaching (instructing) the Christians in the book of 1 John in how they ought to live and how they ought not to live, as God’s children. And we are taught in the Scriptures that we are to instruct, counsel, encourage, and exhort one another so that we are not led astray by those who are deceiving the people, and so we are not led into captivity to sin by the lies being spread.

And this section of Scripture (quoted above) is in the context concerning those who were trying to deceive the Christians to reject the truth of God and to follow after the lies. So in this context John was letting them know that they did not need to have these deceivers teaching them because they had the anointing of God and the Holy Spirit within them teaching them what they needed to learn. But still John saw the need to give them instructions, as well, to help them walk the right path and to not be led astray by the deceptive ones. And we still have need to exhort one another.

But we must not put our dependence in the teachings of humans, or assume that what they are teaching us is absolute truth, just because of who they are. And here the Scriptures tell us that we are to test the spirits to see which ones are of God, for many liars and deceivers abound these days. And so much is being faked and altered to make it look one way while it is the opposite of what they proclaim it is. So we must be spiritually discerning people who make sure that what we are hearing agrees with the Scriptures, but the Scriptures taught in their correct biblical context, not out of context.

If we are abiding in Christ, we are living in him, and him in us, and we are acting in accord with what the Scriptures teach us as to how we are to be living, as followers of Christ. And this means that we are in the practice of obeying our Lord, adhering to and conforming our lives to his commands, and putting sin to death in our lives daily, by the Spirit. And we are walking in holiness and righteousness, continuing in Christ and in his Word and in doing what he says we are to do until the very end, by God’s grace. But if sin is still our practice, and not obedience, we have not life eternal with God.

“If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone also who practices righteousness is born of Him.” (v. 29)

Just a Closer Walk with Thee

Hymn lyrics by Anonymous/Unknown
Music by American Melody

“For indeed He was crucified because of weakness, yet He lives because of the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, yet we will live with Him because of the power of God directed toward you” (2 Co. 13:4 NASB).

I am weak, but Thou art strong;
Jesus, keep me from all wrong;
I’ll be satisfied as long
As I walk, let me walk close to Thee.

Through this world of toil and snares,
If I falter, Lord, who cares?
Who with me my burden shares?
None but Thee, dear Lord, none but Thee.

When my feeble life is o’er,
Time for me will be no more;
Guide me gently, safely o’er
To Thy kingdom shore, to Thy shore.

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it, Jesus, is my plea,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

Is futurism necessarily premillennial?

I've been researching various end time views to figure out where I land. I personally lean premillennial, but hold to it tentatively and open to amillennial and postmillennial positions. The only opinion I have that I am somewhat confident about is that I see the prophecies as having an "already but not yet,"'l aspect. You can find events in history that are similar to those foretold in Revelation, but I think they are partial fulfillments and parallel (aside from maybe the destruction of the temple in 70 AD) the total fulfillment is yet to occur at some point in the future.

My question here is merely due to curiosity. Futurism (the position that all or most prophecy in Revelation will find fulfillment at some point in the future) is often associated with premillennialism, and, in particular, dispensationalism.

Could one hypothetically be a futurist amillennial, for instance?

What Would Jesus Say About Vaccines?

Some criticize vaccines, or reject them entirely, then tell us that God is on their side. I don’t think so.

Jesus heals a leper and says, “Show yourself to the priest.” (Luke 5:12-14) The Jewish priesthood at the time functioned as the health department, among other things. Jesus did not say, “I don’t care what the priest thinks!” Instead, He said, “Show yourself to the priest.” Cooperate with the recognized authority in matters of public health.

Smallpox was a horrible disease for thousands of years, condemning many people to a slow, painful death. Some who survived were left disfigured. The World Health Organization declared it eradicated in 1980, since no cases had been seen since 1977. The eradication of smallpox is one of the greatest achievements in history.

I received a smallpox vaccination as a child. The doctor explained it to me. “Mortality for smallpox is 50%. Half the people who get it die.”

My parents remembered people living in fear of polio. A healthy person could be struck by polio and be totally or partially paralyzed in hours or days.

With Dr. Jonas Salk as the lead researcher, a polio vaccine was introduced between 1952 and 1954. Studies were needed to determine its effectiveness. In April of 1955, headlines screamed: “The Vaccine Works!” Nobody had to ask what vaccine they were talking about. Jonas Salk did not try to patent the vaccine or profit from it. The only goal was to offer it to as many people as possible at the lowest possible price.

Today, polio has been virtually eradicated. Salk became a celebrity. When he got on a plane, the pilot would announce, “Jonas Salk is aboard!” and people would applaud. That attitude is much healthier than the anti-vaccine nonsense that we have been hearing.

This Is The Last Hour

“Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us. But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know. I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie is of the truth. Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also. As for you, let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. This is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life.” (1 John 2:18-25 NASB1995)

Who or what is the “antichrist”? Well, “anti” means to be against and to be opposed to someone or something. In this case it is speaking of being against and opposed to Jesus Christ, which includes being against and opposed to his gospel message which he taught and that his New Testament apostles taught, in the correct biblical context. For we can be for the name of Jesus and for what we believe he is offering us in the way of forgiveness of sins and the hope of eternal life with him, and still be against him.

For Jesus Christ taught that to come to him we must deny self, take up our cross daily (die daily to sin), and follow (obey) him. For if we hold on to living in sin and for self, we will lose our lives for eternity. But if we deny self, die daily to sin, by the Spirit, and we walk in obedience to our Lord and to his commands, in his power, then we have eternal life with God. For not everyone who calls him “Lord” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one DOING (obeying) the will of God (see Luke 9:23-26; Matthew 7:21-23).

Therefore, to be antichrist can include a profession of faith in Jesus Christ, and a belief that all your sins are forgiven, and that heaven is your eternal destiny. How so? You are antichrist if your profession of faith does not include you denying self, dying to sin (not just once, but daily), and walking in obedience to the Lord and to his commandments (New Covenant), in practice, by the Spirit, because of God’s grace, and in the power of God, and if sin is still your practice, and not obedience to God and to his commands.

And this is NOT saying that you must live an absolutely perfect life in every respect or BAM! You are out! For all of us who are in Christ, by faith in Jesus Christ, are still works in progress. We are still clay in the hands of the Potter (God) being molded into the likeness of character of our Lord Jesus, as we cooperate fully with God and with his work of grace in our lives in yielding to his control and in obeying his commands. But if sin is still our practice, and not obedience to God, we will not inherit eternal life with God. Believe God!

So, when this says here that “they went out from us,” this is not speaking of a mere physical departure from any particular “church” gathering. This has to do with them departing from the faith as Jesus and as his New Testament apostles taught it, and then following after a diluted and altered “gospel” in its place. For the church is not a building or a denomination but it is the people of God who are his by genuine biblical faith which results in us dying to sin, being reborn of the Spirit, and walking in obedience to our Lord.

Therefore, there are many people today sitting in chairs or pews in “church” gatherings who are antichrist, for their faith is lip service only (superficial), and their lives are not surrendered to the Lord in dying with Christ to sin and in walks of obedience to our Lord’s commands, as empowered by God. And some of them are the pastors, deacons, and elders of such “church” congregations. And then there are some true followers of Christ who have departed from these institutional (partnered with the government/world) “churches,” in obedience to the Lord, who are being chided for departing.

[Matthew 21:12-13; John 2:13-17; Acts 5:27-32; 1 Corinthians 1:10-13; 1 Corinthians 3:1-9; 2 Corinthians 6:14-18; Philippians 3:18-19; Revelation 2:1-29; Revelation 3:1-22; Revelation 18:1-5]

So, making a verbal profession of faith in Jesus Christ does not make you a Christian unless, by God-gifted and God-persuaded faith in the Lord Jesus you deny the self-life and you now die to sin and you obey God, in practice, in the power of God, by the grace of God. So please be aware that many who are antichrist are those who give lip service to the Lord but by their lifestyles they deny him as Lord. And many of them are in positions of enormous power, respect, and admiration among the people and within the gatherings of “the church.” So be those who test the spirits, please!

[Matthew 7:13-14,21-23; Luke 9:23-26; John 1:12-13; John 6:44; John 10:27-30; Acts 26:18; Romans 1:18-32; Romans 2:5-10; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:1-23; Romans 8:1-14; 1 Corinthians 10:1-22; Galatians 5:16-24; Ephesians 2:8-10; Ephesians 4:17-32; Ephesians 5:3-6; Titus 2:11-14; Hebrews 3:1-19; Hebrews 4:1-13; Hebrews 10:19-39; Hebrews 12:1-2; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 John 1:1-10; 1 John 2:3-6; 1 John 3:4-10; Revelation 2-3]

My Sheep

My sheep hear me. They know me.
They listen to my voice and obey.
I call them and lead them.
They know my voice, so they follow me.
They will never follow strangers.
They will run away from them.
The voice of a stranger they know not;
They do not follow him.

So, I tell you the truth that
I am the gate, so you enter in.
Whoever does enter
Will find forgiveness and will be saved.
Nonetheless whoever enters
Not by the gate; other way,
He is the thief and a robber.
Listen not, the sheep to him.

Oh, I am the Good Shepherd,
Who laid his own life down for the sheep.
I know them. They know me.
They will live with me eternally.
The thief only comes to steal and
Kill and to destroy the church.
I have come to give you life that
You may have it to the full…

Can parishes lock doors after a school Mass begins for safety?

Q: I’m one of the parents on a new “safety committee” for our local parish school. One of the parents’ main suggestions is that, for our school Masses, we lock the church doors and keep the Mass private. To us, this seems like basic common sense. However, our pastor says we can’t do that. Is there any way to explain his thinking?

A: My thought is that your pastor is probably aware of the requirement in canon law that churches be open to the public for liturgical celebrations, such as Mass. As Canon 1221 of the Code of Canon Law states: “Entry to a church at the hours of sacred functions is to be open and free of charge.”

A sacred space

So in light of this, closing the doors of a church to the faithful while Mass is being celebrated in that church is straightforwardly against the law.

Some canon lawyers believe that this law can be dispensed by the local bishop, who might in theory give special, limited permission to lock the doors of a church during Mass for an appropriately serious reason.

But other canon lawyers would argue that this requirement cannot be dispensed, not even by the local bishop, because it pertains to the heart of what a church building is most essentially.

Canon 1214 tells us that: “The term ‘church’ means a sacred building intended for divine worship, to which the faithful have right of access for the exercise, especially the public exercise, of divine worship.”

Ed Martin, head of Trump's Weaponization Task Force, started criminal inquiry into FBI agent who testified in Alex Jones defamation trial

DOJ official ordered to rescind inquiry to FBI agent who sued Alex Jones: Sources

Former FBI agent William Aldenberg was part of a defamation suit against Jones.

Ed Martin, a top DOJ official and director of the Justice Department's Weaponization Working Group, on Wednesday withdrew his request to an attorney for a retired FBI agent who was among the first to respond to the school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School that suggested the agent could be under criminal investigation for testifying at the defamation trial of conspiracy theorist and Infowars host Alex Jones.

Martin's decision to retract his letter came after an admonishment from the Justice Department's No. 2 official, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, a person familiar with the matter told ABC News.

"I am writing to request information from you regarding your client FBI Special Agent William Aldenberg and his role in certain litigation that may benefit him personally and that may impact our citizens and our legal system," Martin wrote in the initial letter. "As you may know, there are criminal laws protecting the citizens from actions by government employees who may be acting for personal benefit. I encourage you to review those."

Jones was previously ordered to pay Aldenberg $90 million stemming from the defamation suit he and families of the Sandy Hook victims brought against Jones for harassment and threats they suffered in the wake of the tragedy as a result of conspiracy theories stoked by Jones.

"Thanks to the courage of the Sandy Hook families, Infowars will soon be finished," [FBI agent's lawyer] Mattei said. "In his last gasps, Jones is once again harassing them, only now with the corrupt complicity of at least one DOJ official. It's as disgusting as it is pathetic, and we will not stand for it."

The hoard of gold and jewelry | Michael Eisenberg/University of Haifa

Archaeologists from the University of Haifa announced the discovery of a rare cache of Byzantine-era gold coins during excavations in the ancient city of Hippos (Sussita), near the Sea of Galilee.

The excavations at Sussita have been going on for 26 years, under the direction of Michael Eisenberg and Arleta Kowalewska of the Zinman Institute of Archaeology and the Department of Archaeology at the University of Haifa.

The large hoard of gold coins was accompanied by articles of gold jewelry, semi-precious stones, pearls and glass. The archaeologists even found evidence of a coin purse, which likely held the coins in the past in order to protect them.

My testimony, from struggling to a new chapter in my life

My testimony comes from struggling in life to a whole new chapter in my life. I grew up having a great family in Germany. Things changed when I was 17 years old, found out I was pregnant and my ex whom is the father was never there a lot through it all. My family helped me through it. Age 18, gave birth to my daughter Hilde and he helped a little raising her. Worst part what him and his family did to me at age 18 too, forced me into marriage and it was not pretty. He was nasty to me and would go out cheating on me a lot. It was huge mess and luckily I got out of the marriage. Being a single mother at the time raising my daughter on my own, it was tough although I had help from my family. I worked two jobs, an auto repair shop 3 days a week and at a bar/ restaurant as a server 2 days a week. It was not easy with off and on relationships, the guys would take advantage of me. Then in 2006 , my husband whom was in the United States Army stationed there came into my life. A couple of his buddies and him would come in for drinks on leave and I served them. I saw something, sensed he liked me and one day his buddies nudged him to talk to me. He did after I got off of work one day about to go home. I saw it and said he liked me asking me on a date. Told him yes and he was good to me right away. Loved my German accent which he still loves to this day. My family liked him right away when he first met them. Seen my life was going to be better. Then in 2007, he was done doing his time in the Army and knew I wanted to be with him. My family was supportive of me immigrating to the United States becoming an United States citizen Got the green card taking my daughter also whom was 10 at the time. Husband introduced me into being a Christian and introduced me to good people including the pastor and his wife also his family. One church member, he saw I was into VWs and mentioned he knew someone at an Audi/ VW dealership taking me there. Met them, sat down and saw potential in me. Asked me if I wanted to do an apprenticeship working on them. Told him yes. Went into the shop area and met the mechanic whom was going to work with me. He saw it too seeing I was a quick learner soaking in all the info and being shown how to do it right. Plus did go through the process of becoming an United States citizen which took 3 years and got my drivers license too. In 2010, Became a legal United States citizen and got married to my husband after that. Today, own my own shop fixing Audis and VWs including having a 4 year old grandson in my life. A step son too and he has been good to me over the years

Trump Personally Tried to Kill Story of His Birthday Letter to Epstein

Trump Personally Tried to Kill Story of His Birthday Letter to Epstein

A new report reveals how Donald Trump got wind The Wall Street Journal was going to report on his birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein—and how he tried to stop the story from getting published.

The Journal has reported that when Trump first heard about its plans to cover his strange, sultry 50th birthday letter to Epstein, he told aides that it didn’t exist, never happened, and called News Corp chair emeritus Rupert Murdoch personally from Air Force One to get the story pulled. After the story was published anyway, he denied that the letter existed and sued Dow Jones, the Journal’s publisher. (The letter was later released.)

Am I doing the will of God by helping clean up the ocean?

I enjoy going for a swim, I will pick up any trash I find whenever I can. I thought of dedicating a full day to help clean up the ocean, or would God want this help to be towards helping people instead of the environment?

I have donated to charities that are about helping people, but I find I am really good at helping keep the ocean clean since I can scuba dive, and carry big things I find out of the ocean like a car tire, or whatever junk that has sunk to the bottom.

Pepper Sprayed While Evangelizing

Greetings, friends! Just wanted to share an experience my friend, Ricky, had while out and about evangelizing at Cleveland State University the other day.

He was talking with a young guy, and they were talking about abortion, crowd was gathering, and there was one gal who took out her pepper spray and sprayed Ricky in the face. He wasn't interacting with her or anything, she just didn't like what he had to say.

The police quickly caught her but he decided not to press any charges (I have mixed feelings about this).

Here's a picture and the video... Thoughts?

Let's continue to pray for safety (as this can happen to any one of us), for all the lost souls or that this gal will turn to Jesus before it's too late.

Majority of Americans Believe Democracy ‘Isn’t Working’

The new Quinnipiac University Poll released on Tuesday found 53% of citizens believe American democracy is not working right now, compared to 41% of Americans who believe the system is going fine.

Those on the left, unsurprisingly, were much more likely to say the figurative house is burning down, with 74% of polled Democrats saying “the system of democracy in the United States is not working”; only 22% of Republicans said it is not working, and 74% of GOP voters said there is no problem at all.
