Andrew: I just feel like women are very emotional, and that politics is a man’s discipline. I seriously believe it. My mother actually believes this, too. And I know some other women who believe that. I just feel like I’ve never really seen a woman who truly understands politics.

Sophie: Yeah, that might be your issue with finding a good-quality girl. Have you ever thought about the fact that a woman’s emotions are a beautiful thing, and that they might complement a man? And that, yes, maybe we make different decisions because of emotions, but if it were just men there would be no reasoning? I think it’s a beautiful thing to have both sides.

Andrew: I’m in favor of a strong executive. I think we should have a stronger executive branch. I don’t think we should be killing people or doing mass genocide, obviously, but I do think we should have a strong executive. I feel like one of the biggest problems Trump is running into right now is all these little courts, they want to throw up little blockages against everything he’s trying to do, whether it be his tariffs or deporting people. So I’m very pro-strong executive, strong leader, strong man. I support national sovereignty, and Hitler was a nationalist. He was like, we have to take Germany back for Germans. And I feel like we should do that in America. We should take America back for our native population. So, I’m not an expert on Hitler by any means, but as far as nationalism is concerned, I’m all that.

Brice: I myself am actually Jewish, ancestrally. I’m Christian by faith, but Jewish by blood. I’ve actually read Mein Kampf. The end conclusions that he came to: absolutely abominable. But I strangely understood where he was coming from as far as wanting to improve the national state of Germany.

Lauren: He made all of those people suffer, and I want to do ungodly things to people who do things like that.

Moderator: What do you think of Jewish people?​

Atticus: They’ve got Hollywood on lock.

George: Don’t they own, like, a ton of the media, and, like, just kind of everything?

Brice: No different than black people, Asian people, or any other people here today. I don’t really know why there’s a single issue about Jewish people.

Andrew: I would say a force for evil. I don’t see why we support Israel. I think Israel’s a very evil state. The genocide in Gaza, killing all these poor people. And the only reason we really support them is because they are the biggest donors. We have AIPAC, and these are all Jewish-run organizations.

Moderator: Let me clarify that. Andrew, you think the Jewish people are a force for evil?​

Andrew: Yes, sir. It doesn’t bother me if it’s true. Those slurs, if you’re racist or whatever, that just rolls off my back… This is my country, my people have been here since the American Revolution, so I say what I want to.

The Republican president said he had received a deluge of phone calls supporting the move and its potential to help patients. “We have people begging for me to do this. People that are in great pain,” he said.

Similarly, the Justice Department under Trump’s Democratic predecessor, Joe Biden, proposed reclassifying marijuana to a Schedule III substance. Unlike Biden, Trump did not have open encouragement from across his party for the move. Some Republicans have spoken out in opposition to any changes and urged Trump to maintain current standards.

There's always threads about the 'war on Christmas' just reminding people it was the Christians who started it.

I know everyone knows the classic Dylan songs like 'Knocking on Heavens door', 'Hurricane' and 'Blowin in the wind' and all that. But I have been getting back into his earlier and less commercial stuff. Also his live stuff where he improvises.

Heres a few that I think show a different side to Dylan and I think are also spiritual. Dylan always touched on the divine and though he did not explicitely state it I think he came to God early and was expressing the line between gospel, belief and the world of rock and roll he had to treverse.

Hey everyone! It has been a long time since I posted here...to be honest I'm not sure where this post would "fit" into a listed category.

-My wife and I were married October of 2022 after dating for 5 years. 6 months into the marriage my wife left to stay at her parents abruptly - in that time the Bible became weaponized against me about the "roles of the husband", and it wasn't until January of this year I found out that she had cheated during that time.

-Now, on the flip side...earlier this year I sinned and had an affair with another woman. It was during this time when my wife came clean about her affair and even stated "she did not have to come clean if I didn't do what I did."

-November 7 of this year my wife left again to stay at her parents. In this time recently she has spewed nothing but lies about me to everyone she knows.

- December 17 my wife agreed to come home as long as her "list" of items she requested be completed. This was deleting social media, cutting off all friendships, turning on cameras around the house, and reading the bible and taking charge with bible studies for the family.

I have to add that there are MANY more complexities involved here. The birth of our son after she returned home (which was brought into question from her infidelity, and I even felt entrapped with). The complete character change of my wife who has become vindictive, condescending, and manipulative. The needed psychiatric and mental help needed for my wife (self mutilation, possible bipolar issues). The hardness against her parents. The distrust and hardness for her because of her job as a Paramedic. The lack of trust on BOTH sides for us in literally anything...the list goes on.
We have gone to 3 marriage counselors, our pastor, and even a christian friend who went through a similar situation with his wife. My faith itself has been split because the churches here (South Carolina) believe that the husband is responsible for his wife's shortcomings to the point of her even cheating. This has caused me so much mental and physical anguish because I feel as if I'm being 100% blamed for all of her issues.

I will be honest I have consulted with an attorney already - and I stopped myself from filing because I still do have a faint hope. I am to the point I can't imagine a future anymore with her. I can't even see past 1 week...

Where do I go from here? Am I just staying because this is the "normal" that I have become used to? I have been praying every day, reading the Bible and asking God to give me some type of guidance. Is his guidance telling me to continue with a divorce? According to the churches here, Divorce is NOT an option and should not even be considered.

The reason why I ask this is that our church leaders regard the communion service as really a tradition that needs to be done but doesn't engage them personally. It's the only time they ever use the liturgy. That part is just bolted onto the service. And in administering the bread they all utter a flawed statement. "This is my body, broken for you". Jesus's body was not broken. It's not in their liturgy nor the pew bibles. It's specifically prophesied AGAINST. He was whipped and bruised but "Not one bone shall be broken...". I think our leaders are just...embarrassed. It's all so primitive for them. Cannibalism...etc
They prefer to preach about refugees, boat people, women's issues. But IN HEAVEN they celebrate the victory of Christ on the cross over the devil, the world and our rebellious estrangement from God. And the Angels glorify the Son and celebrate. What do you think?

“Our chaplains are chaplains, not emotional support officers, and we’re going to treat them as such,” Hegseth said in a video statement to the force on Wednesday.

That’s it,” Hegseth said. “It mentions feelings 11 times. It even mentions playfulness, whatever that is, nine times. … In short, it’s unacceptable and unserious. So we’re tossing it.”

Hegseth said the Pentagon is working on a new program, which could curtail what qualifies as a faith or belief recognized in the military.

In 2017, the Defense Department updated what qualifies as a recognized religious denomination or belief system, with a list of 221 groups that ranged from the mainstream to obscure Christian sects, Wiccans and atheists. Hegseth blamed such changes on “political correctness” and an “ongoing war on warriors.” The department will create a new list of religious affiliation codes, he said without specifying what religions or belief systems are in and which ones are out

I hope other judges will realize they are not above the law.

Jesus Cleanses the Temple​

And when the chief priests and the scribes heard it, they kept looking for a way to kill him, for they were afraid of him because the whole crowd was spellbound by his teaching.

Part of the Trump administration's energy policy involves energy grants to individual U.S. states. And according to the Washington Post, government lawyers admitted, in a December 15 court filing, that the decision to cut energy grants was based on partisanship.

Post reporters Meryl Kornfield and Hannah Natanson, in an article published on December 17, explain, "The Trump Administration acknowledged, in a court filing this week, that a decision to cut energy grants during the government shutdown was influenced by whether the money would go to a state that tended to elect Democrats statewide or nationally. Government lawyers also wrote in the filing that 'consideration of partisan politics is constitutionally permissible, including because it can serve as a proxy for legitimate policy considerations.'"

The "remarkably candid admission" in the filing, according to Kornfield and Natanson, "echoes" Trump's "frequent vows to punish cities and states that he sees as his enemies, from withholding disaster relief for Southern California to targeting blue cities with National Guard troops."


If we want to split hairs, I guess the Administration is not 'admitting' the fact, but it is not contesting the fact. And the footnote definitely has a whiff of "yeah, we did it, and there's nothing wrong with it."

It's important to understand the history of it in the Old Testament to know what is actually happening in Corinth when Paul speaks about it, both encouraging, and rebuking.


Tongues is just a sixteenth century word for languages. I think that some people like the term 'tongues' because it giveth them a magic hocus pocus feeling. It just means languages. No need for the sign anymore. It's primary purpose has went and gone. The secondary uses that were necessary to keep it Biblical went with it. One of the main reasons tongues were spoken at Pentecost pointed towards A.D 70. as was noted in the link provided, God's judgment on Israel. Tongues were also spoken to show by way of miracle that God's "Promise of the Father" that was owed to OT saints was being given, the NT indwelling that all Christians receive the moment Jesus places the Holy Spirit in them, called the baptism with the Holy Spirit. It also showed that God was undoing the confusion of languages that He caused way back in Babylon to evangelize the whole world. The Gentiles were now grafted in per Romans 11:17-24 to provoke Israel to jealousy. Please at least glance over the link provided if you're going to respond. Thanks.

Hi, I am sorry if my posts are not emanating Catholic stuff these days but I'm beating myself up over something that probably no one else gives a fig about.

I made a joke during a speaking event (low-key stuff, in their Parish Hall) yesterday and while I have been complimented for my sense of humor, I still hate how I did it.

The priest was talking about different religious orders, and when he was on the Benedictine order, one of the bullet points on the slide was that the order likes to "retreat" from the issues of the world.

Here I inserted my 2 cents and I asked in a lighthearted, jovial manner, "Does that mean they like to run away from their problems?" and the priest indicated that this is kind of what it meant and I said something like "Yeah, I tend to run away from my problems" and the priest said (he wasn't impolite when he said this) something like "Well, then the Benedictines are for you." And I said "Ok."

Now, in the past, during my last two formation courses, people have pleasantly laughed when I said things and have told me I'm funny, but I feel so embarrassed about last night. I know, no one will care right? And if they do care, they'll get over it.

However, the next time I step foot in that church and walk up to the front pews to sit, I'm going to be known as the person who made that joke

A prominent nuclear science professor at MIT was shot and killed inside his home in a swanky Massachusetts neighborhood Monday night, with police mum on details of the tragic slaying.

Loureiro, a native of Portugal, was a member of the school’s departments of nuclear science & engineering and physics, and director of the MIT Plasma Science and Fusion Center, one of the university’s largest labs with more than 250 full-time researchers, a school spokesman said.

On Tuesday, Dec. 16, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth released a video announcing directives to “make the Chaplain Corps great again.”

“I’m here to tell you about a real problem facing our nation’s military. It’s one you’re probably not aware of, but it’s a really important one, and it’s been going on for far too long.The weakening of our Chaplain Corps,” Hegseth stated.

Hegseth explained that George Washington established the Chaplain Corps in 1775 with the intention of it being the “spiritual and moral backbone of our nation’s forces.” Hegseth quoted Washington as saying, “The blessing and protection of heaven are at all times necessary but especially so in times of public distress and danger.”
