Matthew 24:3-14 ESV


We are living in the last days before the return of Jesus Christ, our Lord. And many of these things mentioned here are presently taking place and are increasing. And deception abounds. And many indeed are being led astray by clever enchanters who are cunning and crafty in their deceitful scheming, and who are experts at mind manipulation and at hidden and subliminal messages buried inside what might have the appearance of truth.

And these liars and deceivers are government heads, CEOs of corporations, medical professionals, heads of church denominations, and pastors of church congregations (or of what is falsely being called “church”). And they are the news media, social media, the music industry, the movie industry, and the sports industry. And they are teachers and authors and writers of devotions and singers, etc. Not all are liars, but many or most appear to be.

Now I am not personally aware of anyone who has said literally, “I am the Christ.” I am not saying no one has, only that I am not aware of it. BUT.. many have said it, without actually saying it, by their actions and by the words they speak when they take the place of Jesus Christ in the hearts of the people, and when they demand the kind of loyalty and devotion to themselves only meant for God alone, and when they want us to treat their words as though they are God’s words to us, when they may not be at all.

And regarding wars, I believe my nation (the USA) has been at war with someone all the time I have been alive, and it could be that they have been in continuous wars ever since the founding of our nation. I think I heard that somewhere, and they listed all the wars, too. And our nation (government and military) are in so many other countries in this world creating wars with them, so it does seem that wars are increasing (in view of Revelation 13).

And Christians throughout the world are being persecuted for their faith in Jesus Christ and for their testimonies for Jesus Christ and for his gospel. And many are running for their lives, and many are being put to death because they believe in Jesus Christ. And here in America that kind of persecution is not the norm (standard). But Christians who take seriously the Scriptures and their walks of faith in holiness and in obedience to the Lord, and who are sharing the truth of the gospel in opposition to the lies, they are being persecuted – rejected, cast aside, ridiculed, falsely accused, and abandoned.

And many who profess faith in Jesus Christ have fallen away, or else they never came to true faith in Jesus Christ to begin with. And many of them are hating others who profess faith in Jesus Christ because the others are living holy lives, pleasing to God, and they are walking in obedience to his commands, and they are spreading the truth of the gospel, and they are refuting the lies, exposing the fruitless deeds of darkness for what they are.

But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this is the truth of the true gospel message. For we aren’t saved just once and now we are good to go to heaven. We are saved (past), we are being saved (present active), and we will be saved (future) when Jesus Christ returns, which is when our salvation will be complete. But this depends on us enduring to the end and us walking in holiness and in righteousness and in obedience to our Lord and not in sin, and not in defiance of our Lord and of his commands.

Bombs are bursting. Night is falling.
Jesus Christ is gently calling
You to follow Him in all ways.
Trust Him with your life today.
Make Him your Lord and your Savior.

Men betraying: Our trust fraying.

2 Tim 2:12 reads , If we ENDURE , we will REIGN together , if we DENY ( Him ) , He also will DENY us , verse 13 , If we are DISBELIEVERS that One remains faithful , He is not able to DENY Himself .

In verse 15 we have to present yourself ACCEPTED BY God , a workman HAVING no cause for SHAME rightly dividing the WORD of truth '

Verse 17 mentioned by name , Hymenaeus and Philetus , v 18 who missed the mark concerning the TRUTH , saying the RESURRECTION has already HAPPENNED .

Reading 2 Thess 2:2 letters supposedly written by Paul saying that THE DAY of the Lord or that the COMING / PAROUSIA is close at hand .

I believe that the word DENYING is to deny what is called in Rom 16:25 Preaching of Jesus Christ ACCORDING to the REVELATION of the MYSTERY .

And as verse 16 says , having made known to ALL Gentiles for OBEDIENCE of FAITH .

The first example I have of the life in the hands of the Satan is that of the William "Action" Jackson. When the boys of the devil got a hold of him they...

1. Stripped him naked tying his wrists and feet
2. Put a meat hook in his rectum to hoist him
3. Smashed his kneecaps with a bat and broke his ribs
4. Shot him with a gun and fried him with a wet cattle prod

Samuel ‘Mad Sam’ DeStefano was said to have participated in this murder. Throughout his blood-soaked career, Mad Sam DeStefano was well-known for his violent antics. He even reportedly had a torture chamber in his sound-proofed basement along with a collection of tools with which he maimed his victims. His favorite was an ice pick. One informant who was close to DeStefano described him as a highly emotional, temperamental individual, extremely egotistical and concerned with his personal appearance. The walls of his home were lined with mirrors and as DeStefano talked to people, he constantly watched his reflection in the mirrors as he walked across the room. He was described as being of such a temperament that he could be crying at one moment and laughing the very next. One of his associates claimed to have once spotted DeStefano rolling on the floor, once again foaming at the mouth, and shouting to Satan, “I’m your servant; command me!”

Well, to be perfectly honest, I don't understand everything it is saying on how they did not. I process information very slowly. But this is kind of interesting.

I'm failing to see where God ever warned about a "penultimate dictator prior to the 7 year tribulation" that many people's view of Gog and Magog revolves around.

I see warnings about just antichrist in particular.

There is also the finality of the passage, Ezekiel 39:

7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel.

So according to the Gog/Magog is before the 70th week view.. you have this miraculous victory by God.. which God says His name won't be polluted any more and the heathen would know Him.
But then you turn around and have Antichrist the most blasphemous person to ever exist? Doesn't jive.
There is also language in the passage that is very much like Armageddon, a feast for the carrion birds, and being slain in the mountains and the open plain, along with an Earthquake that seems to be the same one as in Revelation 16.

So my question is... where did this idea of a pretrib Gog and Magog battle come from? From the text itself.. it sounds like Armageddon to me. I know the identifying Magog as Russia and Gog as like, Putin, comes from when the Soviet Union was established, to you know, make our enemies the enemies in the bible.. but
where did the idea that Gog wasn't just.. Antichrist come from?
Someone taught it, because it doesn't come from the text.

Hello everyone,

I'm diagnosed as being pre-diabetic and having Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). I'm also in the obese weight category, unfortunately so my doctor put me on this medication called Wegovy. It's expensive and something that I don't want to be on forever. The problem is that if I stop the Wegovy, I will end up getting my hunger back, so in order for this to work long-term, I'll need to make big lifestyle changes. This means I'll have to stop eating fast food so often, learn to cook for myself, and exercise more. My only problem? I get overwhelmed by the need to cook for myself and I hate exercising for the most part. For this reason, I've hardly lost any weight within the past two months. Well I want to change that because if I don't, my discouragement will end up leading to depression, which will mean an increase of my mental health medications and more of a likelihood that I will put on more weight.

So where do I begin? Well... one idea that I have is that I could take a cooking class at one of the local schools in town. Another idea is that I could start doing an easy and accessible exercise that I actually might enjoy. The idea I have for exercising is walking. Walking is affordable, easy, and accessible to do, plus it helps with cardiovascular health. I don't know why, but I specifically want to be "heart healthy" moving forward. So I'm going to do my best to start walking more. There's actually a "Lord of the Rings" themed walking program going on with my local library right now. The farther you walk, the more commemorative badges you get. I'm a sucker for turning chores into games in order to trick my brain into doing things, so I think I'm going to try and partake in this activity. I've got the time and the access to walking spaces. I just need to motivate myself to get off the couch and actually walk. It's the motivation that's the biggest hurdle, both with eating right and exercising. But if I exercise my willpower and motivation, I think that I might actually have an easier time getting things done. It could become a routine for me if I only give myself the chance.

Any thoughts on this? Or does anyone have any other ideas on things I could do to exercise or keep myself healthy? Mind you, I'm not looking for medical advice. Just general thoughts and opinions.

Christ, hearing the request “remember me when You come into Your kingdom!” promised they would both be in paradise that same day He spoke of it, not after 3 days while their bodies lay in tombs. So, what can be said, other than they’d both be brought into paradise on the same day they passed out of their bodies. It seems only Christ’s earthly body would be revisited by the Spirit of Christ three days later, when His body would be raised, and transformed, prepared for His Kingdom. These passages read as though His spirit must have spent all three days in paradise before returning.

That's interesting, but at some point, the Supreme Court is going to have to debate (again) the issue regarding trans rights. They've passed on some more recent opportunities.

Or in other words, we have approximately 100 years or less from right now until the whole structure goes ker-smash, and we enter the next Dark Age. Fortunately, I have 20 years or less left before I leave this rock, and I won't be unhappy to go. I don't belong here any more.

As you know, the brain isn`t really needed, it just makes hormones, and cools down blood, but doctors, they think certain areas, are who you are, like the frontal-lobe is your personality, but children born without it, only the brainstem, they still have a personality, so they`re wrong, but they won`t then operate on bruce willis, because they think then they`re gonna kill him, you see, he got cancer in the frontal-lobe because he`s doing these different personalites for movies, people who aren`t themselves completly, stress the body, other word, sinners, but that`s not the point here, but it always happens in the weakest area, the most stressed one, so he`s just gonna die because doctors are ignorant, but they`re immoral themselves, and not needed, so it`s a tragedy of ignorance, the different areas, of the brain, makes different hormones, based on what you`re doing, so with his acting and doing different personalites, this front-area was the most stressed

I don't know if people are paying attention to what's happening in other parts of the world but Russia, China, and a few more are banding together and telling other countries who do business with them that they will no longer buy, sell, or trade with them using the U.S. dollar.

Once implemented this (IMO) will cause the U.S. stock market to crash. Any thoughts on this?

In the 24 hours since former President Donald Trump’s arraignment, the presiding judge and his family have received multiple threats, two sources familiar with the matter said.

One official said “dozens” of threats have recently been directed at Judge Juan Merchan and his chambers but did not give an exact time frame for them.

The other source said Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and other top officials in his office continue to receive threats. The threats have been in the form of calls, emails and letters.

First, I want to say this SHOULD NOT HAPPEN. It's disgusting. I think we can all agree on that.

But it's interesting to look down at the comments and see so many people blaming Trump and calling all Republicans evil for doing such a thing, forgetting the riots and death threats the Democrats did over the Supreme Court justices. Or even when Hillary lost the death threats to electors, demanding they overturn the election in Hillary's favor. It's interesting how even the media will play this up as wrong, but it's not so wrong when it happens the other way around. BOTH parties are guilty of it and it needs to stop.

How many ages are there?

My premise is that a new age occurs every time there comes about new heavens and a new earth. A new age involves significant changes to our solar system and to earth's geography.

My thinking is that there are five ages:

1) pre-Adamic age
2) pre-Noahic age
3) this present evil age
4) the Kingdom age
5) the Eternal age


1)The pre-Adamic Age

In the pre-Adamic age (ie before Adam sinned) man and the beasts lived together harmoniously. There was no rain, but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground (Gen 2:5-6) Four headwaters: Pishon, Gihon, Tigris, and Euphrates. It's all there in Genesis chapters one and two.



2) The pre-Noahic Age

After Adam sinned, we entered the pre-Noahic age. Again, there was no rain on the earth, until Noah entered the ark (Gen 7:4), and afterwards we saw the first rainbow. It's estimated this age lasted maybe 1500 years. Again, it's all there in Genesis chapters three through seven.



3) This Present Evil Age

Then, after the cataclysmic heaven and earth changing events of the Flood, we come to a new age Paul calls "this present evil age" (Galatians 1:4). It's estimated since the Flood this age is about 4500 years now, with some 1000 years more to go, for a total of 7000 years since Adam.

This present evil age will see the man of sin revealed (2Thes 2:8), causing great tribulation (Matt 24:21), which ends with the rebellion of Gog/Magog (Rev 20:7-9), in which God's fiery judgment will consume all the nation's wicked (Eze 39:6), leaving mortals as rare as fine gold (Isa 13:12)

For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

I believe the 1000 year reign of Christ and his saints (Rev 20:4) will not be on earth but rather in the heavenly places vacated by Satan and his angels after the war in heaven (Rev 12:7-9)
The Kingdom of God begins in heaven, not on the earth (Rev 12:10).

Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.


Revelation's sixth seal (Rev 6:12-17) follows immediately after that great tribulation and will bring about significant changes to our heavens and to earth's geography as well, constituting the beginning of the Kingdom age (Matt 24:29-30).



4) The Kingdom Age

I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken... and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

The Kingdom age will last many thousands of years to accommodate God's sworn promise to give the land of Canaan to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and to Israel, for a thousand generations (Psalm 105:8 and 1 Chronicles 16:15)

In the Kingdom age the wicked will die young, the wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox (Isa 65:17-25) This will be the Messianic Kingdom Age where Christ will rule with his twelve disciples (Matt 19:28)

So, Jesus said to them, “Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

God has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.


IMO This age will end with the execution of Revelation's seventh seal with its seven trumpets and seven vials. All the unrepentant wicked who have ever lived will be judged, and those who still refuse to repent will be destroyed in the LOF.

In that day the Lord will punish the powers in the heavens above and the kings on the earth below. They will be herded together like prisoners bound in a dungeon; they will be shut up in prison and be punished after many days.



5) the Eternal Age

Many people conflate the Kingdom age with the Eternal age. In the former, sin and death still reign, but not in the later.

Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away...“Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
