Was the last supper and the Seder the same meal eaten by Jesus and the disciples or was it a different meal?

Though there are some similarities, I think they were different and here’s why …

First off the last supper was eaten on the Eve of the 14th and the Seder is eaten on the 15th



During the last supper there was the washing of feet
Dipping of bread
No mention of eating lamb
Nor of bitter herbs
There was the breaking of bread but it was not hidden like the afikomen but given to be eaten signifying his body to be broken for many
A cup of wine signifies his blood of the new covenant
Promises were made
Nazarene vow made

I’m asking if anyone sees similarities or differences to comment

A similar note I see is that there were prophetic utterances announced in both meals

Okay so, I've been on here so many times trying to analyze my relationship with my bf... I'm calling it off. He's not ready to marry me, we came very close to committing "all the way" kind of sexual sin, and in general I don't respect him as I should.

However. In the last 24 hours I've said some very mean things to him. He said he was hurt, I did a 180 and asked him not to break up (I felt dread in me when he said he was hurt, but I didn't want him to break up with me, I wanted to be the one to do it). I wrote him an apology I intend to read him, because he's a person and deserves not to be sinned against (my foul words). Once I'm done reading that, I want to then politely tell him I want to break up.

Two thoughts I have:
1) after I apologize, ask him what he wants to do and hope he says break up
2) tell him I want to break up right after I apologize

I don't want to tell him I disrespect him, except--I already did last night.

So how would I politely word it that we should end things? According to Dan 8:19 the vision in Dan 8 pertains to the final period of indignation or the end of the end times, which disqualifies Alexander the Great’s conquest because it took place in 331 BC, which is before the end times began.
Dan. 8:19 He said, “Behold, I am going to let you know what will occur at the final period of the indignation, for it pertains to the appointed time of the end.

Since the vision pertains to the end of the end times and Media and Persia are no longer called by these names, this tells us that these ancient names, which are found in Dan 8:20 are symbolic of the names of these regions in the end of the end times. Today Media is called Iraq and Persia is called Iran. The fact that the vision takes place in the end of the end times and these ancient kingdoms and their ancient names are no longer in existence, disqualifies Alexander the Greats conquest as the fulfillment of Dan 8, since Alexander the Great’s conquest took place in 331 BC, which is before the end times began and he defeated Persia, which in the vision of the end of the end times symbolically represents Iran. The vision in Dan 8 depicts a war that involves the kings of Iran and Iraq, which supports the idea that the two horns symbolized King Ayatollah Khmeini of Iran and Saddam Hussein of Iraq. Saddam Hussein was the longer horn that came up last as described in Dan 8:3

Furthermore Alexander the Great’s kingdom never divided into four regions when he died, it imploded when the generals he placed over the regions he conquered fought with one another until Rome seized control of the kingdom.

Lately I've got this way of thinking that I don't want to follow rules and be someone's servant. When I pray to God I don't feel anything like I used to, the things I enjoy on earth make me happier than turning to God does.

I'm just wondering, why should we even care about going to Heaven? It seems like you have to fight every natural urge and desire you have just on the off-chance you might get to Heaven, despite the fact that we can't help our human nature and we didn't ask to exist I'm the first place. Isn't it better to go to Hell knowing you lived for yourself and didn't deny yourself happiness, than stressing out all the time on Earth just to then go to Heaven and continue being someone's servant for eternity? I feel like if I go to Hell at least I lived for myself and didn't let myself be bullied/strongarmed into following rules that I don't even really want to.


I used to be terrified of Hell and constantly try to please God, and I never felt as happy as I do when I just please myself and don't worry about it.

You and your spouse both work for the same company. To you it's just a job, but your spouse loves it. Suddenly and unexpectedly your spouse is fired, for something that you know and fully agree is bogus. When your spouse tries to discuss the situation with the company, they don't even offer the courtesy of responding. This causes your spouse a tremendous amount of stress and anguish.

Do you:

THE FULFILLMENT OF DANIEL 8

After I believed in Jesus the Holy Spirit led me to study only the scriptures and wait for the Holy Spirit to give me insight into the scriptures I didn’t understand. One day after I read Dan 8, while I was watching the news about the Persian Gulf War Jesus revealed to me that this war was part of the fulfillment of Daniel 8. Shortly afterwards, Jesus revealed to me that the Iran Iraq war, which began in 1980, marked the beginning of the vision found in Daniel 8.

According to Dan 8:3 and 20 Daniel saw a ram with two horns and that the longer of the two horns came up last. The angel told Daniel in verse 20 below that the two horns represented the kings of Media and Persia. Jesus revealed to me that the fulfillment of the first horn to arise was Ayatollah Komeini of Iran or Persia. The second longer horn that came up last was Saddam Hussein of Iraq or Media.

According to Daniel 8:4 Daniel saw the two horns butting northward, southward and westward and there was no nation around them that could stop them. The ram initially butted southward when Ayatollah Komeini and Saddam Hussein sank oil tankers destined for Saudi Arabia. During one of these missions King Fahd of Saudi Arabia shot down one of Ayatollah Komeini’s planes. The ram also butted southward when Ayatollah Komeini sent a suicide truck bomber into Kuwait. Then, according to Dan 8:5 Daniel saw a Shaggy goat, which Jesus revealed to me was the USA, coming from the west, covering the whole earth, which symbolized that the entire world was outraged at Saddam Hussein for invading Kuwait and supported the US led 34 nation coalition that formed to drive Saddam out of Kuwait. Daniel saw the Shaggy goat coming without touching the ground, which symbolized the 99% of the Persian Gulf War that took place through the air. The remainder of the time was spent processing the Iraqi soldiers that surrendered because of the bombing campaigns and pinpoint missile attacks. The large conspicuous horn between the Shaggy goats eyes symbolized Saudi Arabia, which was depicted as conspicuous because everyone wondered why the Muslim nation of Saudi Arabia allowed the USA, a nonMuslim nation, to help them defend themselves against a fellow Muslim nation, Iraq.

The Christians were tired of being ruled over by oppressive kings who would not allow them practice Christianity the way they wanted to so they left Europe and sailed to North American and formed a Democracy. After the Greeks formed a Democracy the Democratic city states loosely joined together and threw off their Persian overlords. In the same way, the 13 colonies in North America joined together and threw off their British overlords in the Revolutionary War. After the Greeks threw the Persians out they entered into the 50 years Golden Age of Greece. In the same way, after the 13 colonies drove the British out the US entered into a golden age. Then, just as humanism crept into Greece during its golden age humanism entered into the USA after the British were driven out. At the end of the Golden Age in Greece democracy was overthrown. In the same way, the Socialists in the Democratic Party and the RINOs are in the process of overthrowing democracy in the USA.

Dan. 8:6-7 depicts the Persian Gulf when it tells us that Daniel saw the Shaggy goat with the large conspicuous horn come up along side the ram with the two and was enraged at the ram and there was nothing that the ram could do and the ram was thrown down in violence.

In order for Persian Gulf War to qualify as the fulfillment of Dan. 8:6 and 7, Iran had to take part in the Persian Gulf War, because Daniel saw the Shaggy goat come up along side the ram with the two horns. Ayatollah Komeini of Iran took part in the Persian Gulf War when he agreed to supply Saddam Hussein in the event that an embargo was enforced against Iraq and he allowed Iraqi private, commercial and military jets to take refuge in Iran when the Persian Gulf War started. Also, when the USA began bombing Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, Ayatollah Komeini called for suicide terrorist acts against all Americans in the Middle East.

According to Dan 8:8 and 22 Daniel saw that after the war, while the Shaggy goat magnified itself, which was fulfilled by President George Bush Sr. when he held victory parades throughout the USA and he went on a Middle East victory tour, the large conspicuous horn, which I said was Saudi Arabia once already, broke without the authority of the king of that nation and four conspicuous horns or kingdoms began growing towards the four winds of heaven. Jesus did not give me the names of the four horns, but He did reveal to me that they were the conspicuous Muslim kingdoms that began growing throughout the earth after the Persian Gulf War. Based on this revelation I was able to figure out that the horn that broke in the vision was fulfilled by Osama bin Laden, who is from Saudi Arabia, when he revolted against King Fahd for not allowing his Muslim militia to defend Saudi Arabia against Saddam Hussein of Iraq, and without the authority of King Fahd, the four conspicuous Muslim terrorist kingdoms began growing towards the four winds of heaven. To further tie the four Muslim terrorist organizations to the fulfillment of these scriptures Dan 8:23, 9-12 and 24-25 tell us that when these four conspicuous kingdoms complete their transgressions, which are the terrorist acts that they have been committing since Osama bin Laden revolted against King Fahd, a rather small horn, which is the Antichrist, will arise out of one of these conspicuous kingdoms, remove the regular sacrifice and commit horrors and transgressions until he is destroyed with out human agency. We know that these scriptures are referring to the Antichrist because he is the only person that removes the regular sacrifice, and is destroyed without human agency by Jesus at His coming.

He will even oppose the Prince of princes, But he will be broken without human agency.

In order to understand another point that the angel told Daniel in the vision in Dan. 8 we have take quick look at the vision that Daniel saw and recorded in Dan. 7. In this vision Daniel saw the fourth beast, which had ten horns and he was told in the vision in Dan 7:24 that the ten horns are a kingdom of ten nations in which ten kings would arise and after the tenth king arises the Antichrist will arise from among them and subdue three of the kings. With this picture in mind we can return to the vision in Dan 8 and see that Dan. 8:21 is telling us that the large conspicuous horn between the shaggy goats eyes, which I said symbolized Saudi Arabia twice so far also symbolized the nation the first of the ten kings will arise within. This means that Saudi Arabia is one of the ten nations that make up ten-nation kingdom found in Dan.7:24.

After Jesus revealed this to me I began praying and asking Him which nations make up the other nine nations and who are the kings. Then in 2006, when I turned on news and they were talking about Hezbollah attacking Israel the Holy Spirit revealed to me that the ten-nation kingdom is made up of those nations that are fighting with Israel. Then Jesus gave me a second insight in the scriptures to show me that it was He who had just given me the first insight. He revealed to me that the nations that make up the ten-nation kingdom have to be those nations that are fighting with Israel because according to Dan 9:27, when the Antichrist emerges on the scene he makes a peace treaty between many nations and Israel and peace treaties are made between nations that are fighting.
Dan 9:27 “And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate.”

Then the Holy Spirit gave me the insight that the ten kings that arise with in the ten-nation kingdom are the leaders of the terrorist organizations. The Holy Spirit didn’t give me the names of kings, but He did let me know in my heart that I could figure it out. I knew that Saudi Arabia was one of the ten nations so I began to think about which nations have been fighting with Israel since they became and nation and as far as I can tell the ten-nation kingdom includes Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Turkey and Qatar.

I then began looking into, which prominent Muslim terrorist leaders might qualify as the ten kings. So far all but two of the prominent Muslim terrorist organization leaders, which include Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah in Lebanon and Khaled Maashal, the leader of Hamas, who has taken refuge in Qatar, have been killed by US drone strikes or old age. And because the scriptures build the picture that all ten kings are alive when the Antichrist emerges from among them, I decided to stop focusing on this, but remain attentive. According to Dan.7:24 after the tenth terrorist king emerges the Antichrist will emerge from among them and when he makes the peace treaty between many nations and Israel he will have to subdue three of the ten Muslim terrorist leaders in order to put it into effect.
Dan. 7:24 ‘As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings will arise; and another will arise after them, and he will be different from the previous ones and will subdue three kings.

According to Dan. 8:13-14 the length of time the Antichrist will remain on the scene is 2300 days or about 7 years.
Dan 8:13 Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to that particular one who was speaking, “How long will the vision about the regular sacrifice apply, while the transgression causes horror, so as to allow both the holy place and the host to be trampled?” 14 He said to me, “For 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the holy place will be properly restored.”

The most powerful attraction of monarchy today is leadership above politics, which is something that a critical mass of the body politic can rally around.

Last year’s death of Queen Elizabeth II and now the coronation of King Charles III have drawn the world’s attention to the ancient institution of monarchy. The devotion with which Elizabeth performed her royal duties to the very end won the admiration of legions. Princess Catherine’s sweet, gentle encounters with British school children drew tears from many who watched them on television. The gentility of the British royal family (the Sussexes and Prince Andrew excepted, of course) contrasts favorably with the coarseness of both Democratic and Republican politicians in the United States.

While the question may be entirely academic, could Americans learn anything about politics from the regime from which they separated after a long and exhaustive war in the late eighteenth century?

Monarchies are not created equal. The Mongol and Russian crowns had virtually no constitutional limits (although they were severely limited by space and time). In contrast, even the most powerful European monarchical regime placed constitutional limits on the power of the throne.

Calvinism states that God chooses people for salvation before the creation of the world, and only the elect are saved. Today we wish to look at the following scripture used by Calvinism to support their case, and provide a rebuttal to its usage.

Joh 15:14-17 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. These things I command you, that you love one another.

The above scripture is used to say by a Calvinist that God chooses us (before creation) we don't choose him. But first before we discuss the passage we will look at where Jesus talks about receiving the Holy Spirit.

Joh 14:21-24 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?" Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.

We see here the order of receiving the Holy Spirit:

1. Man obeys God
2. God loves the one who obeys
3. God gives the Holy Spirit to the obedient

We see here that receiving Jesus is an act of obedience, being willing to follow Jesus and His teachings. The primary work is faith (John 6:29). So we see man chooses God after God's offer of salvation is presented, it is an act of man's will (obedience).

So now let's return to the first scripture. It is not talking about man choosing God in the sense of salvation it is talking about who "appointed" who. Who ordained who.

Notice the frequency of the term, servant, and master. Jesus is saying "You did not ordain me (you are not the master), I ordained you (Jesus is the master). It is not talking about the order in which salvation occurs, it is talking about Lordship, and how even though He is Lord he calls them friends.

How would you define “the counsel of the wicked”? First, who are “the wicked”? According to my thesaurus they are the mischievous, the naughty, the mean, the evil, the depraved, and the immoral, i.e. the sinful. And the sinful are those who are full of sin, who make sin their practice, and their habit, who deliberately and habitually and sometimes (or often) premeditatedly sin against the Lord and against other humans without conscience, and without compassion, and without true remorse.

So, if the wicked are giving out counsel, what kind of counsel do you think they are giving out? Now, some wicked people will sometimes give out good counsel because they want to appear righteous, but I don’t think that is what this is talking about. I believe this is talking about wicked counsel which leads people to commit sin without conscience, and without guilt, and to do what is contrary to the Lord and to the teachings of the Scriptures under the New Covenant. But this wicked counsel might appear good.

For there are a lot of wicked people today, some (or many) of them pastors of church congregations (or what is falsely being called “church”). And they are teaching lies which are a blend of truth and lies, and they are giving their adherents the notion that they can make a one-time profession of faith in Jesus Christ, have all their sins forgiven, and be on their way to heaven, but regardless of how they live their lives. So it appears to be good counsel to some people, but it is a lie, and so it is horrible counsel.

For no one who is truly walking with the Lord Jesus in purity of devotion to him, and who has left his life of sin to follow Jesus in obedience, is going to advise people seeking Jesus Christ that how they live doesn’t matter for eternity, or that they can now continue living in sin without guilt, now that all their sins are forgiven. But many are doing exactly that! Yet, even at seven years old, when I first believed in Jesus, I understood that this meant leaving my sins behind me to follow Jesus in obedience, and that is exactly what I wanted to do. I hated my sin and I wanted no part of it!

So, if you truly love Jesus Christ, and he is honestly Lord of your life, then your desire is going to be for him, not to live in sin. And you aren’t going to be one who is going to shun his commands and decide that you don’t have to obey the Lord and that you don’t have to leave your life of sin behind you. For you should hate your sin and you should delight and rejoice in the fact that by faith in Jesus Christ you can now be delivered from your bondage to sin so you can live righteously by the grace of God, and in his power.

Psalms 1:3 ESV


When we are following Jesus Christ with our lives in living holy lives pleasing to him, by his grace, and in his strength, and when we are walking in obedience to his commands, in practice, although not necessarily in absolute sinless perfection, our lives will yield the fruit of God’s righteousness and holiness, which will be evident in the things that we do in obedience to our Lord. For they will be the works of God which he prepared in advance that we should walk in them (see Ephesians 2:10; cf. Titus 2:11-14).

Some of that fruit will be seen in the lives of the people who were touched by our obedience to our Lord, and it may not always be visible to us, which is okay. For if we are writing devotions and posting them on the internet and they are going to people across the globe in many different nations, we may never know what impact our obedience is having in other people’s lives. And the Lord uses us in different ways at different stages of our lives, too, so some of that fruit will not show itself until the timing is right for it.

But when this says about those whose delight is in the Lord, that they prosper in all that they do, that is not necessarily prospering by human standards. But that is about being spiritually successful in accomplishing the work that our Lord set out for us to do, and it is to triumph over evil. And we may not even appear successful in the eyes of humans, for we may get lots of opposition and persecution and false accusations with very little obvious and outward signs that we are making a difference in anyone’s life.

Now, again, the wicked are all those who practice evil, who make sin their practice, and for whom righteousness, godliness, moral purity, and walks of obedience to our Lord are not what they practice. So, many people who are wicked in practice are also those who are professing faith in Jesus Christ, at least here in America, and especially if they are those who are being told that their sins do not matter to God. So, while they are claiming Jesus as their Savior, many are living in sexual immorality and in addiction to sin.

So, this is a warning to all who are living wickedly, making sin their practice, that regardless of what they profess with their lips, they are going to be judged by God by their deeds. And the wicked will not stand in the judgment. For, what did Jesus say? He said that not everyone who says to him, “Lord, Lord,” will enter the kingdom of heaven. So while many are claiming him as Lord and while they are bragging of all the things they did in his name, he is going to say to them, “I never knew you! Depart from me you workers of lawlessness.” (see Matthew 7:21-23).
